Chapter 3 - Demons Preastesses
Undisclosed Location
'This is bad' thought Naruto as he was sent flying by the entity in front of him. The blonde stood up, and with a pulse of chakra a sword popped into existence. "Time to end this" said Naruto as he charged at the entity. Steam came from the blonde's mouth as he unsheathed his sword.
'Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunder Clap and Flash - Godspeed'
Naruto vanished with a blur of lightning, before the beast could react its tentacles were cut along with two of its heads. Naruto appeared on top of the demon as he sheathed his sword.
The blonde smirked in victory as he looked at the ground and saw something glowing. Before Naruto could react he was impaled through the back.
The beast roared in victory before the dead blonde exploded releasing massive amounts of malevolent chakra as the Kyubi was freed.
A pair of purple eyes opened as a girl woke up in cold sweat. The girl put her hand on her chest as she tried to calm her racing heart.
Demon Country
On a cliff overlooking a temple, there were five figures. Four out of the five wore white robes, with one of the figures wearing a black trench coat over his robes.
The man in black had neck length black hair, black eyes, and a facial goatee.
"It's time" said the man in black as he body flickered to the backs of the four figures.
With a few handseals four glowing tentacles rose from the ground fusing themselves with the four figures giving them a power boost.
"Now go!" said the man in black as the four men ran down the cliff and landed in front of the temple.
"We're under attack!" said one of the guards as more guards exited the temple. "Gitai" said one of the assassins. 'Fire Release: Running Fire' said Gitai as a ring of fire surrounded the guards.
"Don't be afraid of such meagre fire!" yelled one of the guards. One of the assassins made a few handseals 'Wind Release: Divine Wind' tornadoes surrounded the guards as the tornadoes came in contact with the fire causing the tornado to become a massive tornado of fire, sending the guards flying to the flames.
The assassin made a handseal as the tornado exploded leaving no trace of the guards but scorched earth.
The man in black landed in front of the temple as his subordinates opened the door for him. "Go no further only I who bears the name of Yomi can go between the land of the living and the dead"
Yomi walked to the end of the temple revealing a set of stairs that led underground. Yomi walked down the steps revealing a massive tomb with hundreds of boulders surrounding it.
Yomi calmly walked towards the tomb, walking through the barrier. With great strain he raised his hand and started to chant. Yomi then slapped his hand on the tomb as the sealing tags burst into purple flames opening the door of the tomb as dark energy erupted from it.
"Who has summoned me?" said Moryo. "It is I, Yomi Master Moryo" said Yomi. "Why have you summoned me?" Moryo asked. "The stars are aligning, it's almost time to create our Thousand Year Kingdom" said Yomi.
"Where is my physical self? Without it I'll disappear" said Moryo. Yomi then opened his trench coat and took out a scalpel. Yomi opened his robe and cut himself open. "Until we retrieve your body Master, you can use me as a vessel" said Yomi.
Without any hesitation Moryo entered Yomi's body, pushing the man towards the barrier due to the force of Moryo's power. Yomi then stitched himself up, and spread his arms.
"Rise my army!" yelled Yomi as dark chakra spread across the tomb. The boulders cracked revealing hundreds of terracotta warriors as Yomi cackled.
Barracks
Unaware that Moryo has been unsealed, the soldiers at the barracks were mingling, while others were keeping watch at the watchtowers. One of the soldiers spotted a massive cloud of dust followed by another.
"Were under attack! Man your stations!" yelled the soldier.
With a mighty rumble the trees fell revealing the ghost army marching towards the barracks. The soldiers quickly mobilized on top of the wall armed with bows and arrows.
"Fire" the soldiers unleashed a hail of arrows that did nothing to stop the stone warriors.
The ghost army soon reached the wall, with a mighty push the wall fell killing most of the soldiers on top.
"Hold the line, don't let them through" said one of the soldiers to no avail as the stone warriors marched through the soldiers.
As the ghost army marched through the ruined barracks one of the soldiers tied a message on a dove. "H-her Highness must receive this message" said the soldier as the bird flew away.
Iwagakure
Chaos and pandemonium. Those were the two words to describe Iwagakure no sato. Ninja were flying across the village, the Explosion Corps were running and jumping towards the exit.
Naruto chose to sit on top of the many buildings in the village, watching the organised chaos unfold. "Naruto gramps wants to see us" said Kurotsuchi as her and Rindo appeared next to him.
Naruto stood up and stretched as he and his teammates vanished from the roof.
Tsuchikage's Office
The three teens entered the office, revealing Onoki and their sensei waiting for them. Their sensei was what you'd call an exotic beauty.
She had wavy green hair that reached her waist, ice blue eyes, piercings on both her ears and she wore cherry pink lipstick on her lips.
She wore a fishnet shirt underneath the brown flack jacket of Iwa, black ankle length form fitting pants and black heeled sandals. Her forehead protector was a in a sash like design tied on her hip.
"Team Kasumi, your mission is to protect and escort the priestess of Demon Country to Swamp Country" said Onoki. "Why?" asked Rindo.
"A demon by the name of Moryo has been unleashed upon the world, and the priestess is the only one who can seal it" said Onoki.
"Fortunately for us, Moryo hasn't been fully revived" said Onoki. "What do you mean fully revived?" asked Kurotsuchi. "He means that Moryo has been split into two parts, his soul and his body" said Naruto.
Onoki nodded "Moryo's body is at a temple in Swamp Country failure means the end of the world as we know it" finished Onoki as the teens in front of him quickly grew serious.
"Meet me at the gate in twenty minutes" said Kasumi as the three teens body flickered to their homes. Kitsuchi entered the office just as the teens left "Do you think they're ready?" asked Kitsuchi.
Kasumi shrugged as she jumped out the window. "USE THE DOOR NEXT TIME!" shouted Onoki as Kitsuchi chuckled.
Konoha
"I'm bored" said one of the chunin in the guard post. "I know I kinda wish something could happen" said the other.
"Hey Kotetsu look what I got" said the chunin as he held up a magazine written 'Shinobi Illustrated: Kunoichi Edition' with a picture of a busty blonde woman on the cover.
Kotetsu grinned at his friend as he opened the magazine. "Izumo, my man you've outdone yourself this time" said Kotetsu.
The two chunin were so engrossed on the magazine that they didn't notice the ROOT agent limping towards them.
"H-help" said the agent. Unfortunately the chunin were too focused on the magazine "Man Lady Kushina's a baddie" said Kotetsu.
"I know, sidebar do you have any idea who the father of her daughter is?" asked Izumo. "Probably some badass like Lord Fourth" said Kotetsu.
The ROOT agent sweatdropped as he collapsed on the desk causing the chunin to jump in fright. As soon as they saw the unconscious agent Izumo sent a pulse of chakra at a seal underneath the table alerting the Uchiha Police Force.
Moments later a squad of Uchiha came and took the agent to the hospital. The two chunin sat in silence for a few moments. "Well you wished something would happen" said Izumo.
Kotetsu nodded as flipped through the magazine "Look Izumo, it's the Raikage's assistant" and with that the chunin continued their 'reading'
Demon Country
On a hill overlooking a palace the four assassins stood as the sun rose. "Brother" said one of the assassins.
A pink haired man with pink eyes and black pupils spread his arms as snakes came from underneath his skin. The snakes infused themselves with the assassins as they changed form, becoming ogre like with lines appearing on their bodies.
Palace grounds
Unknown to the soldiers that they were about to be attacked. The soldiers relieved each other of their duty due to the threat of the priestess's life. All of a sudden the palace was under attack as a hail of kunai and shuriken rained on them.
The assassins quickly used the chaos to kill the remaining soldiers before they could mobilize. "Taruho, protect Lady Shion!" yelled one of the soldiers as he charged at the enemy.
In the palace the priestess woke up to the sounds of men screaming. Shion had pale lavender eyes and light blonde hair that falls past her waist, which she keeps tied at the end with a bow.
"Lady Shion, we're under attack!" said Taruho. Taruho had short shoulder-length brown hair and pupilless navy blue eyes. He wore red rectangular glasses and a Japanese attire that consisted of a green vest with grey armour over a white and light purple collared kimono jacket, purple hakama, sandals and a black eboshi. Along with his outfit was a quiver strapped to his back.
As Taruho was about to approach Shion, the door burst open revealing the assassins.
"Priestess time to die" said one of the assassins. As the assassins got ready to finish their mission, a kunai landed in front of the priestess.
This kunai was different from the normal ones, the kunai was in a trident like design and there were kanji on the handle of the strange weapon.
With a yellow flash Naruto appeared and picked up the kunai.
"Good morning ladies and gentlemen" said the blonde. "Who the hell is this kid?" said one of the assassins. "It doesn't matter he's just an obstacle" said the pink haired assassin.
Naruto looked behind him and saw that Shion escaped. "Just an obstacle huh?" said Naruto as he took a deep breath 'Fire Release: Grand Fireball Jutsu' The assassins jumped out of the building avoiding the inferno.
"A fire jutsu that powerful at such a young age? This kid's not normal"
"Hey, where you guys going I thought we were having fun" said Naruto as three clones appeared alongside him.
"Setsuna, Gitai take care of this kid" said the pink haired assassin body flickered away. Before the assassins made a move Naruto and his clones blurred out of sight and appeared in front of the assassins and mule kicked them in the chest.
Gitai recovered as he made a few handseals 'Earth Release: Earth Corridor' the earth surrounding the blonde rose up creating a cave. The other assassin made a few handseals 'Fire Release: Running Fire' the fire spread around the blonde. 'This fire jutsu is weak' thought Naruto as he ran towards the cavern entrance.
'Wind Release: Divine Mountain Wind' a vortex of wind entered the cave causing the blonde to be blown back and as soon as the wind met the flames, the cave became an oven.
The assassins breathed heavily as they exhausted a lot of chakra.
BOOM
The cave exploded revealing an unscathed Naruto. "That's it?" nonchalantly asked Naruto. The assassins were wide eyed completely unaware of Kurotsuchi and Rindo ambushing them from the sides.
Meanwhile with Shion and Taruho
Taruho was carrying Shion towards the waterfall when all of a sudden he stopped. 'What was that?' thought Taruho as the pink haired assasin charged out of the waterfall holding kunai on both his hands.
As the assassin got closer he slashed at the pair, but instead of blood the kunai seemed to pass through the pair. The assassin realized that he was trapped in a genjutsu.
The assassin dispelled the genjutsu only to catch a kick in the face that sent him flying across the waterfall.
Taruho immediately guarded Shion from the green haired woman who quickly dispatched the assassin. "Relax we're the ninja from Iwagakure you hired" said Kasumi. Taruho relaxed as he set Shion down.
Kasumi turned her attention to the assassin who disappeared in smoke.
Konoha
Konoha General Hospital
In a private ward there was a boy of fourteen years old. The boy had pale skin and dark eyes and had short straight black hair. The boy was in a critical state as there were machines all around him.
Sarutobi looked at the boy with a very sad look in his eyes. It pained the old kage dearly at seeing such a young child at such a state. He cursed his former rival to the depths of hell.
"Inoichi, I trust that you can look into his mind?" said Sarutobi. Inoichi nodded as he prepared his technique.
Inoichi had long ash blond hair reaching into his lower back, which he wore spiky on top and ending in a long ponytail, light green eyes and strong facial features, which included a well defined jaw line. Inoichi is seen wearing the standard flak jacket over a black outfit, complete with hand-guards, forehead protector and a sleeveless red haori.
"Sai I'm going to go into your mind okay?" said Inoichi. Sai nodded as Inoichi put his fingers on Sai's forehead. A few moments later Inoichi removed his fingers from Sai's head as he looked at the hokage with a grave look in his eyes.
"Lord Hokage I have good news and terrible news" said Inoichi. "What did you see Inoichi?" asked Sarutobi. "Naruto's alive" said Inoichi. Sarutobi's heart skipped a beat at the news, but he braced himself for the bad news. "And the bad news?" Sarutobi questioned.
"He's, well, umm" Inoichi couldn't find the words to tell his leader, because he couldn't believe it himself. "Inoichi..." Inoichi sighed as he looked at his leader. "Lord Hokage, Naruto is a Iwa genin and is being trained by Wakasa Kozaburo" said Inoichi.
Sarutobi sat down on the chair next to Sai's bed as he processed the news. Minato and Kushina's son was alive, but he was an Iwa ninja trained by the captain of the Iwagakure Flying Squad.
"Inoichi, keep this information to yourself, until I call the council" said Sarutobi. "In the meantime I'll contact Jiraiya and see if he can get one of his agents into Iwa" Sarutobi continued. Inoichi nodded and left the room.
'What do you stand to gain Onoki?' Sarutobi then looked at the horizon wondering how was he going to explain this to the council and how Kushina will react.
Academy
"In conclusion, Iwagakure surrendered after Minato Namikaze defeated over one thousand of their ninja in a last dicth effort" said a chunin instructor.
Kanae Uzumaki was bored. Her teacher has been going on and on for two hours lecturing them about the Third Great Ninja War.
As the redhead almost fell asleep for the upteeenth time, the bell rang signaling the end of the day.
"Remember to practice the substitution justu" said the instructor. "Finally, I thought today would never end" said Kanae. "I know, once Iruka-sensei gets started on his lectures he never seems to run out of air" said Tsukino with a yawn.
"Come on it's not that bad, I mean sure the lectures are boring but we're almost done" said a pink haired girl. "Look Sakura, I wish that graduation day would be tomorrow" said Kanae.
Sakura has fair skin, green eyes, and pink hair. She wore her hair as bangs in order to cover her large forehead.
"As much as I hate to say it, Forehead's right. We only have three months left" said a blonde girl.
The girl was fair skinned with platinum blonde hair styled in a ponytail with a bang covering her eye.
Kanae blew a raspberry "Three months of torture, back me up here Hina" A pale eyed girl rolled her eyes in amusement "Relax Kanae before you know it graduation day will be here"
Hinata was a slender girl of fair-complexion who, as a Hyūga, her most distinguishing trait is the Byakugan, giving her featureless lavender eyes. She has dark blue hair that she keeps in a hime-cut, her hair is cut just above her forehead akin to a bowl-cut with chin-length strands framing her face.
As the girls walked out of the building they were greeted by the villagers and a couple of boys that think they stand a chance at these girls. The girls went to a nearby cafe and they sat down discussing whatever teenage girls found interesting.
As the girls were talking a couple of chunin passed their table "Did you hear some crazy shit is happening at Demon Country?" the other chunin shook his head.
"Well word on the street is that the ancient demon Moryo has been unleashed" said the chunin.
Another chunin decided to chime in "Well I heard that Iwa's busting out the explosion corps and the flying squad" the first chunin winced "The king of the skies and the pyromaniac? May the gods have mercy on the man who unleashed the demon"
"The king of the skies? Who's that?" asked Ino. Tsukino shrugged "Beats me, I'm more curious of the flying squads involvement. Those guys never leave Iwa unless it's wartime"
Kanae sighed "I wish we had cool divisions like those. I mean ninja who can fly"
"Hey don't say that we've got the Demolition Force" said Ino.
"Not as cool as the Explosion Corps" said Tsukino. "Well it's not our problem anyway" said Hinata as a waiter came to their table.
Demon Country - Shion's Palace
"When are we leaving?" asked a very bored Rindo. "As soon as the soldiers stop bickering over who gets to guard Shion" said Kasumi. "They're bickering at a time like this?" Kurotsuchi questioned.
"Yo Naruto you've been quiet for a while, you good bro?" asked Rindo as he looked at his best friend and rival. Naruto nodded as he looked up from his book.
An impatient Shion entered the room "I want to leave now" Kasumi raised an eyebrow "Not that I'm complaining, but why the rush?" asked the green haired jonin.
"The more time we sit here Moryo is closer to his body" said Shion. "That's the most sensible thing you've said since I met you" said Naruto as he stood up. "You're still going to die" said Shion.
Naruto shrugged and opened the secret entrance and entered it followed by his teammates.
A few hours later, Team Kasumi were tree hopping across the forest at high speed. "Your back is uncomfortable. You should be more feminine" Shion told Kurotsuchi.
Kurotsuchi never wanted to kill someone as much as she wanted than the young female on her back.
And what did she mean by 'feminine?' of course her body was going to be flat and hard, she was a ninja and she was still growing damn it! Rindo laughed as he sensed something behind them. "Guys we have a tail" said Rindo as they landed on a clearing.
Moments later the team saw Taruho running towards them. The ninja looked at each other and nodded as they took to the trees once more.
Swamp Country
Swamp Country or Land of Swamps was a mountainous jungle filled with rivers, waterfalls, wetlands and swamps teeming with crocodiles.
On a hill Team Kasumi along with Shion and Taruho decided to camp for the night.
Rindo and Kurotsuchi guarded Shion in her tent, Kasumi was keeping watch from the trees and Naruto used the 'Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu' to create a hundred copies of himself, having them transform into the wildlife to detect and take out enemies.
The original Naruto sat next to Taruho and gave him some rice balls. The two then talked about Shion until the sun rose.
The ninja continued their blistering pace as they hopped across a raging river.
"Don't drop me!"
"Be careful!"
"Slow down! You're going too fast!"
"Stop yelling" growled Kurotsuchi with a massive tick mark on her head. Rindo and Naruto laughed at their friend's misery courtesy of their client.
Naruto then stopped laughing as he heard something coming from behind him. He looked behind and saw a massive water dragon.
"Take the high ground everyone!" yelled Naruto as the ninja quickly scaled a cliff to avoid the incoming jutsu.
Naruto then put his fingers on the ground as he let out a pulse of chakra. He then pinpointed the location of the jutsu caster "Sensei I'm going to engage the enemy" said Naruto as he ran towards the assassins, followed by Rindo.
"Ugh boys" said the three females as they took to the trees.
"Pshh look at this kid" said one of the assassins. "Look there's another one following him" said Gitai as he looked at his partner.
She had three blue markings, one going from the top of her head and going down over her eyes and the last one going down over her nose.
Her hair was messy and a little bit longer. She had two spike-like appendages jutting out the back of her elbow, one on each elbow.
"What do you say Shizuku? Wanna discipline these brats?" asked Gitai. Shizuku smirked "I'll take the one with the blue eyes" Gitai grinned "Guess I'll take Four eyes" with that the assassin body flickered to his opponent.
Naruto threw a handful of shuriken at the kunoichi and made a couple of handseals as she dodged the projectiles. 'Wind Release: Air Bullets' with a deep breath Naruto unleashed hail after hail of compressed air, sharp enough to pierce through flesh that hit Shizuku head on.
Instead of the kunoichi becoming a bloody version of Swiss cheese, she turned into a puddle of water.
Naruto thought that was a water clone until the puddle moved further from him, before turning back to human. "Nice try kid, but it's gonna take a lot more than that to stop me" said Shizuku making lightning quick handseals.
'Water Release: Rising Water Slicer'
A wave of water shot up from the ground at high speeds towards Naruto. The blonde switched himself with a rock that was cut in half by the wave. The wave changed direction still going after Naruto, Naruto took a deep breath as he fired of a fireball towards Shizuku.
Shizuku dodged the fireball, but in doing so caused her concentration to slip ending her jutsu. As the kunoichi looked to where Naruto was, and saw him take to the trees. "If you wanna play blondie, let's play" said Shizuku following Naruto into the forest.
Rindo vs Gitai
Rindo dodged a kick to his head, weaving past Gitai's attacks until a right jab connected sending Gitai a couple meters away.
'This brat hits hard' thought the assassin as Rindo blurred out of sight and appeared in front of Gitai, grabbing his neck and chokeslamming him to the ground.
In an unexpected feat of agility Gitai swept Rindo off his feet and kicked him on the stomach as he was falling. Rindo got up holding his stomach as he made some one handed seals. Gitai saw Rindo make some handseals.
"Well, kid let's take this up a notch!" yelled Gitai as he took out the purple snake tore it in half before drinking the fluid in the snake, causing a large pillar of dark chakra.
With Kusuna and Setsuna
As the two assassins closed the distance from the three women the pair saw the pillar of chakra "That idiot actually drank it" said Kusuna. "Well it's his funeral" said Setsuna as they tree hopped after their target, not caring about their comrades safety.
Naruto vs Shizuku
The pair ignored the pillar of chakra as their battle ramped up. Naruto cursed as another of his clones was destroyed. Shizuku smirked as her opponent's plan of outnumbering her was failing.
Naruto made three clones that served as a distraction while the original made a few handseals as he got into position.
Shizuku smirked as she easily destroyed the clones, unaware that the original was waiting for the right moment. 'Wind Release: Pressure Damage' Naruto released a compressed tornado like sphere that hit Shizuku.
The jutsu exploded causing the surrounding area to be erased as the violent winds tore everything apart. Naruto heard Shizuku's screams as the jutsu tore her apart as well.
The jutsu ended revealing a large crater, that was once a part of the forest. "Mm, Mm, Mm, you are a sadistic bastard" said a dark voice. "It's not like I had a choice" said Naruto.
"Lies! You and I both know that you have a plethora of ways you could've ended that battle. You just wanted to use the new jutsu you've learned" said the dark voice. "Meh, it wasn't personal" said Naruto.
The dark voice laughed "This is why you're my favorite warden" Naruto rolled his eyes as he walked towards Rindo's battle "Whatever you say Kyubi"
Rindo vs Gitai
"What in heaven's name have you become?" Rindo muttered as he made five clones of himself. "YES, YES THIS POWER IS AMAZING!" yelled Gitai as he cackled like a madman.
Gitai transformed into a giant six-armed three-headed demon. Gitai then hit the ground with his arms causing bombs to launch at Rindo.
Rindo dodged the onslaught of bombs from Gitai. Rindo threw a handful of shuriken that exploded as they came in contact with Gitai. Gitai roared as rock started to coat his arms.
Rindo blurred through his handseals then slammed his hand on the ground.
'Earth Release: Golem Technique - Stone Prayer'
A giant stone golem rose from the ground, before Gitai could react the golem closed its hands crushing him. Rindo dropped to his knees as he caught his breath, Rindo then noticed a crack forming on the statue 'Impressive he's still alive after being crushed' thought the blonde as he made a ram seal.
"Katsu"
The golem exploded in a massive purple cloud. Sending rock and debris everywhere, but most importantly the explosion took out the cliff where Rindo and Gitai had their battle.
Rindo deeply exhaled as he flew over the destruction below him.
"Wow, that was brutal" said Naruto as Rindo landed next to him. "It's not that bad" said Rindo. "Not that bad, you took out an entire cliff with one jutsu" deadpanned Naruto.
"Meh that guy was gonna destroy the cliff too. It was a matter of who was gonna do it first" said Rindo as he sat on a branch.
"So ready to regroup?"
"Nah I'm just gonna chill here for a while"
"Smoke break?"
"You've read my mind"
With Kasumi and Kurotsuchi
'Why do I have the desire to beat the crap out of those two boys?' thought Kasumi as she tree hopped through the forest. Kasumi turned her head around and saw a couple of shuriken coming at them. Kasumi plucked the shuriken from the air and threw them back.
"Kurotsuchi, go on ahead" said Kasumi as she slowed down. Kurotsuchi nodded as she picked up speed with a screaming Shion on her back.
Kasumi turned around as Setsuna and Kusuna headed towards her. The jonin took out two windmill shuriken and threw them at the assassins.
The two men dodged the shuriken only to be surprised by the shuriken coming back towards them. "What the hell is this? Is she using the same justu I am?" Setsuna questioned as Kusuna narrowed his eyes.
Kasumi watched as the two assassins dodged and weaved as her shuriken kept them busy. Lightning Release: False Darkness' Kasumi opened her mouth as a bright beam shot from her mouth piercing through the assassins.
Kasumi almost relaxed if it wasn't for Kusuna turning into a puppet. 'It seems that the assassins pulled a fast one' Kasumi thought as she tree hopped towards her student, with her shuriken following behind her.
Kurotsuchi continued her blistering pace through the forest while hoping that the rest of their team win their battles. As Kurotsuchi tree hopped she was shot with an anesthetic jutsu causing her to stop on a branch.
Kurotsuchi gently laid Shion down as she reached down her ninja pouch to take an antidote shot. Before Kurotsuchi could inject the shot uher body froze as she plummeted to the ground.
Kusuna then appeared on the branch as Shion looked at him in fear. Kusuna took out a scalpel and proceeded to slit the priestess's throat.
With Naruto and Rindo
"Soo are you ready to go?" said Naruto. Rindo nodded as Naruto pit his hand on his shoulder. "A little warning, this justu is intense" said Naruto, before Rindo could ask why the two vanished with a yellow flash.
The two blondes appeared in the forest and their eyes widened at the sight in front of them. Kasumi and Kurotsuchi stood alongside Shion's corpse with solemn looks on their faces.
"Guess we failed" said Rindo as the two blondes approached the scene. Kasumi shook her head "This is not Shion" Naruto raised an eyebrow
"Then who's this?" Kasumi looked at the bushes "Shion you can come out now" said Kasumi.
Shion appeared from the bushes with tear stained cheeks. "Okay what's going on here?" asked Naruto.
"T-thats Taruho" said Shion, Naruto looked at the two kunoichi. "Taruho transformed into a copy of Shion to trick the enemy" said Kurotsuchi. "And before you ask, the transformation is permanent"
"What happened to the assassins?" asked Rindo asked. "Kasumi-sensei killed the other one, and the last one's over there" said Kurotsuchi pointing at Kusuna's corpse with his head caved in. Naruto and Rindo whistled "Dude, that's just wow" said Rindo.
Kasumi looked at the sky and noted that the sun was about to set "Come on you guys let's head to the temple" Shion climbed on Rindo's back as they took to the trees.
Medouzutaun - Grass Country
Jiraiya was a man of legend. Trained by the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, he and his two teammates were given the title Sannin by Hanzo of the Salamander impressed by their teamwork.
Jiraiya was a tall and well-built man with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that he usually ties back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face.
His attire consisted of a green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which he wore mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles. He also wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each side.
He carried a large scroll on his back, and had a tattoo on his left palm, and he wore a horned forehead protector with the kanji for "oil"
Jiraiya entered a brothel as women smiled and waved at him. Jiraiya continued to walk through the brothel with a massive lecherous grin on his face.
"Ah Master Jiraiya we've been expecting you" said a short bald man wearing a brown kimono under a blue haori. "Genshi! It's been a long time since I've seen you" said Jiraiya. "Likewise Master Jiraiya" said Genshi as he led Jiraiya to one of the rooms. "I hope you enjoy our premium service" said Genshi as he opened the door revealing dozens of women in it.
"Master Jiraiya come here"
"We've missed you"
"Looks like I'm going to have some fun" said Jiraiya as he entered the room with a bounce in his step. As Jiraiya was about to dive into the sea of naked exotic women a large monkey appeared in front of him.
His body and tail is covered by white fur which protrude from his sleeves and pants. He has long unkempt white hair that reached his back and long sideburns and a goatee. He wears a black suit with mesh armour underneath, over which he wears a sleeveless kimono-shirt with white fur trimmings, and markings reminiscent of tiger stripes on it, which is held closed by a red sash. He also wore a Konoha forehead protector.
"Why am I not surprised?" said the monkey as he looked around the room. "Enma what are you doing here? Is the village in trouble?" asked Jiraiya.
Enma sighed "Hiruzen told me to tell you that the Fourth's legacy is still alive and amongst the stones" Jiraiya's eyes widened as Enma dissappeared with a plume of smoke.
'Naruto's alive, but he's one of Onoki's ninja' Jiraiya thought. 'Meh I'll deal with it later now it's time to unwind' thought the Sannin as he dived on the bed with the women kissing and taking off his clothes.
Moryo's Tomb - Swamp Country
Outside the temple stood the ghost army in all their glory. Naruto cursed as he looked through his binoculars "There's too many of them" said Kurotsuchi. "Should we wait for reinforcements?" Rindo questioned.
Kasumi shook her head "There's no time we have to go through the army"
Team Kasumi looked at Naruto "Well I guess it's time I use what the old geezer taught me" said the blonde as he flew on top of the army.
Naruto clapped his hands and opened them revealing a glowing sphere with a cube surrounding it.
'Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World'
The cube expanded as it reached the ghost army trapping the terracotta warriors within its confines.
The sphere exploded destroying a large chunk of the army leaving nothing but dust.
"Damn that jutsu took a chunk of my chakra, guess I need more chakra control" said Naruto as he looked at the remaining stone warriors.
Naruto vanished from the sky and appeared on the ground with a clone standing back to back with him.
'Dust Release: Split Detachment of the Primitive World'
Naruto and his clone clapped their hands and opened them revealing a sphere inside a cylindrical structure that expanded and exploded destroying the army on both sides.
Naruto put his hands on his knees as he breathed heavily the continued use of the Dust Release took a toll on him.
Shion looked at the destructive power Naruto just displayed in awe, alongside Kasumi and Kurostuchi. "The power of the Second and Third Tsuchikage's is terrifying" said a voice.
Kasumi turned around only to see that Wakasa was standing behind them along with the Flying Squad. "I'm assuming you're the reinforcements?" Kasumi asked. Wakasa nodded.
Wakasa wore his usual outfit but with a white coat with the Kanji of "sky" on the back that hung on his shoulders.
The flying squads uniform consisted of a white flack jacket with a tanto strapped on the back and black pants and black gloves.
Wakasa signaled his squad to attack as the twenty ninja behind him took to the skies as they bombarded the rest of the army with kunai bombs.
Naruto sighed in relief as the flying squad rained hell upon the army. "Nice one kid, you've managed to get rid of over half the army on your own" said a voice.
Naruto looked and saw Kaiju nonchalantly standing next to him as the Explosion Corps decimated the army with their exploding nintaijutsu.
Kaiju wore his regular outfit, except for his goodie he wore a red coat with the kanji of "Flower Fire"
The exploding corps uniform consisted of a red and black flack jacket with red pants and chestnut brown gloves with metal knuckles.
Kasumi landed in front of the two "Naruto take Shion inside and seal Moryo" Naruto took Shion's hand as the two went into the temple.
"What about us sensei?" Rindo asked. "Destroy the rest of the army" said Kasumi as she put her palm on the ground. 'Earth Release: Earthworm Torpedo' large earthworms erupted from the ground and swallowed hundreds of terraco warriors as Kaiju made a handseal 'Explosion Release: Supernova' the earthworms and the warriors within a two kilometer radius exploded.
Shion and Naruto entered the tomb and saw Yomi sitting on a couch. "Priestess lovely to see you here" said Yomi. Shion took a deep breath as she walked behind Yomi and started to chant causing a large barrier to form.
Naruto noticed that Yomi was chuckling. The blonde raised an eyebrow at the strange man in front of him as he mentally deciphered what the man was laughing. Moments later Naruto opened his eyes and looked Shion still chanting.
"Shion stop its what he wan-" Naruto was interrupted by a tendril of dark chakra wrapping itself on his neck and threw him on the other side of the tomb. Shion stopped her chanting as she saw Naruto flying to the other side of the tomb as Yomi entered the barrier with her.
"Foolish girl, this is what I wanted you to do. My master and you are one and the only way to release him is with your power an his!" yelled Yomi as his body was torn apart by Moryo as his spirit left the body.
Shion looked in horror as Moryo went into his body. With a burst of malevolent energy a massive beast with multiple heads rose from the ground as the tomb turned into a volcano.
'Lightning Release: Thunder Phoenix'
A large phoenix made of lightning hit the demon stunning it for a few moments as Naruto appeared in front of Shion. Naruto saw Yomi's dead corpse and kicked it into the lava. Without any hesitation Naruto flew towards the beast intending to defeat it.
Shion watched as Naruto and Moryo fought against one another with Moryo steadily winning the fight. Shion clutched her chest as her prophesy was coming true.
'This is bad' thought Naruto as he was sent flying by the entity in front of him. The blonde stood up, and with a pulse of chakra a sword popped into existence. "Time to end this" said Naruto as he charged at the entity.
Steam came from the blonde's mouth as he unsheathed his sword.
'Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunder Clap and Flash - Godspeed'
Naruto vanished with a blur of lightning, before the beast could react its tentacles were cut along with two of its heads. Naruto appeared on top of the demon as he sheathed his sword. The blonde smirked in victory as he looked at the ground and saw something glowing.
"Naruto move!" yelled Shion as Naruto flashed away from Moryo's tentacles and appeared behind Shion. "Thanks Shion" said the blonde with a grateful smile, causing the priestess to blush.
"Now we finish this Moryo" said Naruto as he made six shadow clones. The clones surrounded Moryo as the demon roared.
'Fuinjutsu: Soul of the World'
The ground between Naruto's clones glowed as a seal appeared under Moryo sucking the demon into it causing the seal to glow to a bright purple light. Shion stood behind the original and put her hands on his shoulders giving Naruto a boost in chakra. With a mighty roar Moryo was sealed, causing the lava to dry up.
The two blondes left the tomb and saw that the area around them was greener and more lush. Shion gasped at the size of the trees 'The trees are twice as big now' Naruto on the other hand was panicking.
"Hey guys you did it" said Rindo. "Well priestess guess you can rest easy now that Moryo's become part of the ecosystem" said Naruto. Shion looked at the horizon "Moryo came from the evil of humanity, Moryo will return eventually.
Until then I need to pass on my power to future priestesses, so will you help me Naruto?"
Naruto and the Iwa ninja's eyes comically widened. "I'm flattered but u-um, I can't right now" said Naruto as he briskly walked to the rest of the ninja.
Unbeknownst to the shinobi there was a plant like figure. The figure's body was black on the one side and white on the other side with a flytrap surrounding its head. It also wore a black cloak with red clouds.
"Well, well looks like the Kyubi jinchuriki is quite powerful. Our associates need to hear this information"
