Chapter 50: Thriller! Night of the Hybrids
Saotome Complex…
It was late at night, and while Nodoka, Sasuke, and the Pixies had turned in, the others stayed up to watch a late night movie. The TV was currently playing a horror movie involving werewolves. They all had their differing reactions. While Kasumi, Bloom, Flora, and Stella were a bit frightened, the others took it in stride.
"No no! Don't run in there! You're just going to trap yourself!" shouted Stella to the TV as it showed the screaming woman run through a forest and lock herself in a small shed.
"Oh, I think she's done." Commented Musa.
Sure enough, the next scene showed the door break down to reveal a menacing-looking werewolf, who then launched itself at the screaming woman.
Stella, Bloom, Flora, and Kasumi quickly turned away to avoid seeing the gruesome kill while everyone else caught every second of it.
"Ooh, that was nasty." Said Mousse.
"Called it." Said Musa.
"How can you watch this?" asked Kasumi.
"It's entertainment!" replied Layla.
"Although I can tell that blood looked pretty fake." Tecna observed in her usual logic.
"That didn't seem at all scary to me." Ranma stated.
"Same here." Added Shampoo. "After all, we met real ones before."
"True enough." They all recalled their trip to Lyco, the planet of were-creatures where they met the catwoman Felicia and her werewolf husband, Jon. It was also where Ukyou and Shampoo had acquired their lycanthrope forms.
"We also became were-creatures ourselves, too." Said Ukyou.
"Sounds like quite a place." Said Mousse. He began to have thoughts on what kind of form he would have due to his duck curse. He shook his head, thinking a were-duck would look absolutely ridiculous.
Some time later, the movie ended.
"Am I glad it's over…" said Flora.
"Oh please, it wasn't that bad." Said Musa.
"Anyways, it's getting late. We should get some sleep." Bloom pointed out.
They all agreed and went to their rooms after turning off everything.
In the night sky high above Nerima…
A shadowy figure appeared before the full moon shining in the night. He looks up at it and gives a sinister chuckle.
"Now then, let's see how they deal with this…" The shadow gathered up some magical energy and shot a beam of power into the sky, which then explodes into a shower of sparks, blanketing over the entire ward. "Enjoy the next few nights. Hahahahahaha…"
The shadowy figure vanished.
Opening (Hellsing style, 'Logos Naki World')
Music starts as the Specialist weapons were seen on a desk. Ranma's hand is seen as the phantom hands converge on it before fusing. He clenches his fist and holds it before him as the 'Ranma Club' title appears over him.

Closes in on the streets of Nerima. In one part, Neko-Shampoo is seen sitting on her haunches, and in another, Kitsune-Ukyou is doing the same. Both get up and walk past the throngs of -screens of them of their backs, then they slowly turn around to face the camera. Nodoka's hand pops up and she goes Enchantix.
Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
Take me once, take me to the revolution
Down down, won't ya hear the vibrations
Take me home, and I'll look to return
Nodoka flies up and slashes her katana. Ranma is seen with his battle aura flaring as he gets into a fighting stance. Before him, a shaded figure grins deviously then they rush at each other. Goes back to the Nerima streets, now darkened, Neko-Shampoo and Kitsune-Ukyou turn to their were forms and howl.
Shooby dooby doo shooby dooby doo doooo
Shooby dooby doo shooby dooby doo doooo
A shadow silhouette of the Specialist group is seen, then they slowly meld to form Ranma's shadow shape. As this happens, face profiles of Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Layla flash by in the background before finally ending with Ranma's face.
Were-Ukyou and Were-Shampoo run through the streets of Nerima on all fours then pass through a darkened alley. When it lights up, they are in their animal forms, then look at the camera with glowing eyes before walking off.
End opening
Furinkan High…
Ranma walks through the halls with Stella and Musa as they made their way to their next class.
"It was kind of strange what happened this morning." Said Musa.
"I don't think it was that strange." Said Ranma.
"Oh really?" asked Stella.
Flashback…
Ranma was with the girls walking to school when a stray dog suddenly began barking, specifically at Shampoo and Ukyou. The two girls let off audible hissing and growling noises, causing the stray dog to whine and run off.
Another time during lunch, the two girls stretched out on the grass and rolled about, then stopped when they got some looks from everyone in sight.
After that, Shampoo had been seen chasing some birds. Ukyou was seen standing before some caged rabbits from the bio lab and slightly drooling before being snapped out of it.
End flashback…
Ranma could only sweatdrop at the memory. "Okay, maybe it was a bit strange…"
"It's almost like their animal sides are crossing over…" commented Musa.
The pigtailed boy cringed when he suddenly thought of his girl side mannerisms crossing over to his boy side. 'God forbid!'
Once school ended, everyone headed home, save for Shampoo and Ukyou, who have gone to meet the dinner rush of their respective eateries. Before the two girls left, they had pounded Kuno when he once again tried to lay claim on them. They were a bit more violent than usual, though. They shredded his clothes before sending him flying hard into the school flagpole.
Saotome complex…
Kasumi was in deep thought about what she had recently learned about a certain young physician. She just wasn't able to figure out how she didn't notice his antics towards her earlier. She recalled the last time he encountered her in the park where she had been taking a stroll. The good doctor had been taking a coffee break there at the time, and as soon as he saw her, he went off on his nervous insanity. He accidentally dumped his scalding coffee on a nearby man's head, causing him to scream in pain, then tripped and fell into the park fountain. Dr. Tofu had surfaced and drunk from his coffee cup, which was filled with fountain water before offering to treat Kasumi to a coffee. The girl had to quickly excuse herself before Dr. Tofu could cause even more of a scene and embarrass them further.
"I can't even talk to him when he's like that. What am I going to do about him?"
Late that night, in a deserted street…
A young man was walking through the empty dimly lit street on his way home.
"Sheesh… this place is creepy at night… why did I spend so much time at the bar…?" The lights up ahead then shorted out, darkening the roads. "Great… just my luck…"
As he continued to mutter to himself, he managed to hear something, like a scratching on the ground. As he looked about, something caught his eye. From within the shadows, he saw what looked like a female figure. "Huh…? Who's there?" He also noticed something else about the figure. Behind it, he could make out the telltale signs of a swishing… tail? His eyes widened when he saw this, then even wider when he saw a pair of glowing eyes appear in the darkness.
"W-w-what are you!?"
The young man screamed as the shadowy figure charged at him.
Next day…
During break period, some students began to gossip amongst themselves.
"Hey! Did you hear? There was an attack late last night!"
"Really? What happened?"
"Apparently, some guy got attacked by something or someone while he was on his way home from a bar."
"He had some light scratch wounds like an animal attacked him."
"It had to have been something big, like a bear or something."
Nearby, Ranma and the Winx overheard the conversation.
"My goodness! I wonder what could have happened?" asked Flora.
"This is a cause for concern…" added Tecna.
Nearby, Ukyou had a slight pain in her chest.
"Ukyou? You okay?" Layla asked with worry.
"It's nothing… I'm fine, Layla." Replied Ukyou, but didn't sound very convincing.
The next day, more news of late night attacks came in. Students were abuzz about something lurking through the streets attacking adolescents, particularly young men. According to the news, several similar attacks have occurred late last night. Due to this, a curfew had been put into motion.
Dr. Tofu's clinic began to have some in-patients due to these attacks, but it was still nothing he couldn't handle.
"According to the patients, they've all experienced the same thing. Multiple light scratches, some bruising, and what appears to be trace amounts of saliva." Said Dr. Tofu as he looked through his patient analysis. "What in the world could've done all this?"
The good doctor managed to heal up his patients' injuries on record time and they were soon discharged. As he sat alone, he heard someone come in.
"Excuse me…"
Dr. Tofu froze on the spot as he recognized the around, he once again wore a goofy grin as Kasumi stood before him.
"Ah hahaha! Oh Kasumi! Fancy meeting you here of all places! Ah hahahaha! Why don't you come have a seat?" as he said this, he got up and walked to her, but he wound up walking past Kasumi and banging into the doorframe.
Kasumi could only shake her head. 'This has to stop…' "Dr. Tofu, we need to talk."
Dr. Tofu immediately got up and sat down on a stool, which he missed completely and fell on his butt. "Of course Kasumi! Ha ha ha! Have a seat! What about?"
"It's about you and me."
The doctor had stiffened upon hearing that.
The following night had police patrolling the area in hopes of capturing whoever or whatever was attacking from the darkness.
Later that same night, a certain someone made his way out.
"Damn you, Ranma! I swear I'll have my vengeance! Hold on, this isn't Osaka… looks familiar, though…"
Ryoga, after being lost for so long, had inadvertently found his way back to Nerima.
"You there! What are you doing out at this time of night!?"
Ryoga turned to see two policemen approaching him. "Huh? What's going on? For that matter, can you tell me where I am?"
"Uh… you're in Nerima, son…" replied the first officer.
"Nerima…? That means I've made it back!" said Ryoga.
"In any case, son, it dangerous to be out at this time of night! A late night curfew has been ordered!"
"A curfew? For what?"
"There have been reports that something or someone is attacking people in the dead of night around this time space. We're trying to capture it."
"What is this 'it'?"
"That's what we're trying to find out, so as I said, son, you should-"
He was cut off as a blur suddenly shot forth and tackled the other officer away into the darkness.
"What in the!?" Ryoga started.
The first officer quickly took out his gun while yelling into his walkie talkie. "To all points! Man down! I repeat! Man down! We've located the attacker! Is anyone out there!? Respond!"
Unknown to him, all the patrolling policemen had been taken down beforehand. They weren't killed, but they won't be getting up anytime soon.
"Why isn't anyone answering!?" Before the policeman knew it, he was also tackled away by the blur and knocked out, leaving Ryoga alone.
The lost boy quickly got into a fighting stance as he looked about. "Who are you? Show yourself, you coward!"
From the shadows, he was able to make out two feminine shapes, then two sets of glowing eyes.
"Huh? Two…?"
Before Ryoga could blink, the two figures were already upon him. His scream echoed throughout Nerima.
News of the latest attacks spread throughout the town next day. All the patrolling officers were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Ryoga had made a quick recovery, then promptly got himself lost upon leaving the hospital.
"Man, this is scary! Not even the police could do anything!"
"Feh! They were never really reliable to begin with!"
"Also, they never got a glimpse of what attacked them."
Nearby, Bloom couldn't help but worry. "Just what is responsible for all these attacks?" It was then she had a thought. "No… it couldn't be… could it…?"
Elsewhere on a treetop, Cologne stood looking out as she had a premonition. "This ki signature… no…"
At the Saotome complex, Kasumi had thought back on her latest meeting with Dr. Tofu the day before.
Flashback…
"Dr. Tofu, do you have a crush on me?"
Dr. Tofu instantly became wide-eyed at the question. "Huh? Uh… I… ah… well…"
"It's a simple enough question."
"Well… it's just… I… ah…" Dr. Tofu muttered more gibberish as he flailed his arms around, occasionally bonking himself on the head accidentally.
Kasumi could only sigh. This was worse than she thought. It would seem she would have to try and get through to him. "Tofu Ono, I just have to say that your behavior around me is, well, embarrassing."
The young physician froze as she said those words. She continued once she had his attention.
"I fully realize now that you've had a crush on me for a very long time now, and your behavior around me proves it. In the past, I foolishly passed it off as you being silly, but I see otherwise. It seemed funny in the beginning, but it has gone too far. Your behavior concerning me has caused much physical pain not only for yourself, but for anyone else around you. That's not how a respected doctor should act. Now that I think about it, I feel I, too, am responsible for the pain caused to others by you, even if accidental."
Kasumi sighs. "The truth is, Dr. Tofu, I care about you, too, but your actions have been unnerving to say the least. If we were to start a relationship, there's no telling what may happen if you continue on like this. How can any girl take a relationship seriously when their intended acts the way you do around me? You have to understand that it's just not acceptable. I fear I also played a part in this, allowing you to go on in this fashion. I'm sorry, Dr. Tofu, though it pains me, I must keep my distance from you for your sake as well as for your patients. If you want to start a relationship, I suggest you do something about your mannerisms concerning me, not for my sake, but for your own. I know you can do this. I'd hate to see you lose your physician license because of me."
Dr. Tofu was shell-shocked as he heard this from Kasumi. She was much different than before.
"Well then, I must take my leave. Please think about what I have said." Kasumi stood up and bowed before leaving the clinic.
The young doctor was left alone with his thoughts. 'Am I really that bad? Oh Kasumi…'
Unknown to both of them, a certain Pixie had been listening in on the whole scene.
'It's sad, but true. Hopefully this will get the doctor to seriously change his approach.' Thought Amore.
End flashback…
Kasumi looked out from the house's balcony. 'I hope I have finally gotten through to him…'
Later that night…
In the darkened streets, Soun, Genma, and Akane moved about.
"The authorities were helpless against the mysterious attacker, so it's up to us as true martial artists to put an end to this!" said Soun. He had recalled from the last town meeting discussing the happenings going on and said he would take care of it, despite his low standing at the moment. He had seen this as a way to regain his status standing and show that the Anything-Goes is reliable.
"I agree, Tendo! It is a martial artist's duty, after all!" said Genma. Actually, he was only doing it in hopes of getting a reward of some kind.
"Whatever. Let's just find this assailant and be done with it!" said Akane. She thought this to be a good chance to show that she's good for something and gain recognition like she always has. She would not be overshadowed by some gaijin sluts!
"Okay, so here's the plan." Started Soun. "We'll try to bait the attacker with a target it can't resist. Once it comes, we all jump and subdue it."
"But how, Dad? From the reports, it only targets young men." Said Akane.
No sooner than she said that, Genma was dressed like a punk rocker complete with a blonde wig. "Secret technique: Rocker Disguise!"
Akane could only face palm. Suddenly, she was glomped from behind by a certain kendoist.
"Oh my darling Akane Tendo! You shouldn't be out at this time of night while that assailant is out! Allow I, Tatewaki Kuno, to be your escort!"
He gets a response in the form of having his face planted into the pavement. "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?"
"Well, in any case, let's carry out the plan!" said Soun.
It was then Akane had an idea. "Hold on, Dad. I don't think Mr. Saotome would be a good target. However, we got someone else…"
They all look at the sprawled out Kuno. They figure since he's there, he may as well make himself useful.
Kuno was instantly placed under a dimly lit street light while the others hid.
"Perhaps I shall escort thee later…" Kuno muttered as he slowly got up. As he did, he heard some noises. "Who goes there?" Kuno held his bokken at the ready as he scanned the area. "Show yourself, coward! Lest you incur the wrath of the great Tatewaki Kuno!"
A fast wind blew by, and in the next instant, Kuno's bokken had been reduced to wooden chips. The street light then went out as Kuno screamed in pain followed by growls that sounded to be in… disgust?
"Quick! Get the flashlight out!" said Soun.
Akane got it out and turned it on, pointing it in the direction of the noise. What they saw was Kuno sprawled on the pavement with a glazed look on his face.
"The boy never stood a chance…" Genma commented.
"Now where did it go?" asked Akane as she shone the flashlight about, hoping to catch whatever it was in the act.
"GAAAH!"
Akane was startled when she heard Genma yell behind her after getting slammed into by a blur and into the nearby shrubs.
"Saotome! GUAAAHHH!"
Soun was also slammed by a blur and vanished into the shrubs, leaving Akane alone.
"Dad! Mr. Saotome!" She looked about to find where her attacker was at. "I'm not afraid of you! I'm a martial artist! Why don't you come on out and fight!? Or are you just too scared to face me head on!?"
Akane stopped her rant as she heard a low hissing noise behind her. Slowly turning around, she caught a glimpse of two pairs of glowing eyes in the darkness before they lunged at her. She could only scream.
Another part of the streets, a minute earlier…
Ranma and the Winx were out doing their own investigation on the matter. Along were Mousse and Cologne.
"It can't be true, it just can't…" said Ranma.
"I know it must be hard to believe, but when you think about it, it all fits." Said Flora.
"I don't know how I didn't see it earlier." Added Tecna.
"In any case, we have to hurry!" said Cologne.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
They all turned towards the sound of the scream.
"That sounded like Akane…" said Ranma.
"I think it's safe to assume she met up with them…" Stella commented.
"Come on!" said Bloom as she lead the others towards the scream.
Akane had been running through the street and cut into the park where she had been pursued into. She tripped while running and quickly rolled onto her back where she saw the glowing eyes coming at her. Suddenly, the shaded figures turned around at hearing the sounds of running feet heading towards their direction, then quickly jumped into the trees. Akane was confused as to what happened, then frowned as she saw who came by.
"Great. It's you." She said bitterly.
"Nice to see you, too, Akane." Layla sarcastically commented.
"Everyone! They're still lurking about!" said Cologne.
"We have to catch them, but not harm them too bad…" said Flora.
"Hey! I don't need your help, you whores!" shouted Akane.
The Winx gave the short-tempered girl nasty glares at the remark, then Ranma tensed up as he felt the presence of the assailants. "They're here…"
Ahead, they saw the glowing eyes followed by the sounds of snarling.
"LUMINENCE!" shouted Stella as she shot an orb of light into the air, causing the area to illuminate. It was then the two attackers were revealed.
"W-what…?" said Akane in shock.
"It would seem it's true." Said Musa.
Standing before the group crouched on all fours were…
"Shampoo… Ukyou…" said Mousse.
The two were in their lycanthrope forms with their eyes still glowing with predatory looks and tails swishing about. Their appearances looked more wild and feral.
"What's happening to them?" asked Flora. "It's almost like they've regressed to a more primitive state…"
"It's a full moon out, too. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?" wondered Tecna.
"W-what…? You mean… those aren't costumes…?" asked Akane in shock.
"No. They really are were-creatures." Replied Layla.
"No one make any sudden movements…" said Cologne.
The two lycanthropes eyed the group while bearing their claws and fangs. It was then their gaze fell upon Ranma and they slowly made their way towards him.
"H-hey… why are you two looking at me like that…?" Ranma asked nervously.
Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou crouched down, and suddenly pounced, right at Ranma.
"Ranma! Look out!" shouted Stella.
Ranma braced himself as the lycanthropes jumped him, knocking him down. 'I can't fight them! I'm going to be torn apart… wait… what are they doing…?'
He slowly opened his eyes and noticed he was sitting upright on the ground, with Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou lying on either side of him. Their arms were wrapped around each of his arms and their tails around his waist. The two were-girls let off purring sounds as they licked his cheeks, causing the pigtailed boy to blush.
The Faeries couldn't help but blush at the scene playing out before them.
"Oh my…" said Flora.
"It would seem they have calmed down…" said Cologne.
"RANMA YOU PERVERT!" Akane screamed as she brandished her mallet and charged at the three.
"STOP YOU STUPID CHILD!"
Akane paid Cologne no heed as she prepared to bash Ranma clear out of Japan along with the two lycanthropes. It was then Were-Ukyou and Were-Shampoo turned towards her with glowing eyes of rage. In an instant, their ki-powered claws reduced the mallet into sawdust. Before the youngest Tendo could even register what happened, she was double kicked hard in the face and knocked clear out of the park.
Cologne shook her head. "That stupid girl… she angered them just as they were calming down…"
The were-girls snarled and got to their feet. Before the two lycanthropes could get away, two of Ranma's souls emerged. Platinum Sky held Were-Ukyou while Diamond Brandon took hold of Were-Shampoo. They struggled against the phantoms' holds as Ranma strained to keep them immobile.
Flora went up to them and held her hand out. "Please, calm down, you two…" she blew on her palm, causing a pollen mist to spray on the were-girls. They soon stopped their struggles and curled up to sleep. The souls laid them down gently.
"Good thinking, Flora." Said Stella.
"Thanks, but I'm afraid it is only temporary. I don't think that will cure them of what going on with them."
"Can someone tell me what's going on here?" asked Ranma.
"Their feral instincts have suddenly heightened."
Everyone turned towards the new voice and saw Nodoka, who had arrived.
"Mom? What do you mean?"
"Due to their curses, and their acquired lycanthropy, their animal instincts began to increase. It became even more so during this full moon."
"Hold on, we've had full moon nights before in the past, and nothing like this had happened." Mousse pointed out.
"True enough, and that is why I suspected that something else had a hand in this. Still, this sort of thing was only made possible because Shampoo and Ukyou willed it to happen. It was an emotional trigger."
"Huh? Emotional trigger?" asked Musa.
"These two girls, they still harbor some feelings for my son, and they are powerful. I suspect they had been getting stronger since that school play you all did."
The Winx girls blushed. They remembered the play they all took part in, and the role Ranma played as its main protagonist, specifically the 'contract' scenes.
"And son, deep down, you've harbored the same thing. Your response towards them have been on a positive note compared to the past when they both treated you like a prize and did anything they could to get you."
Ranma was shocked to hear that. Did he really have hidden lingering feelings for both Shampoo and Ukyou? Was that also the reason why he was unable to decide on anyone while he was at the Tendo Dojo? Deep down, he did, but because he was in the Tendo Dojo, and how he was practically denied his right to have choices in his life, not to mention the fathers trying to get him to focus only on Akane, who couldn't stand him a majority of the time, he was unable to develop on them. Since he was no longer locked down in that place, his own feelings no longer restrained, perhaps it was not so far off. Not to mention they've all been through a lot together recently, with the gain lycanthropy, and the hops through dimensions. Slowly, it began to build.
The two were-girls slowly woke up with almost blank looks in their eyes and a blush on their cheeks. Crawling on the ground, they saddled themselves up to Ranma on either side of him while making purring sounds, then proceeded to lick his face at the same time rubbing themselves against him. The fact both were practically naked in those forms wasn't any help either, as Ranma could feel the heat and suppleness of their bodies against him.
"Er… what's going on…?" asked a blushing Ranma.
"Well Ranma, hunting and attacking aren't the only instincts wild animals have." Replied Cologne.
"Huh?"
"Er… Ranma… I believe she means their… animal magnetism, so to speak…" Tecna said with a blush.
"You mean… they're acting that way because… they're… in heat?" asked Flora as she blushed hard. "Oh my…"
"Wait, WHAT! ?" asked Ranma in shock.
"Well that would explain why their targets have been young men." Stella surmised.
"Indeed. Due to their pent up emotional frustrations, they tried to find some sort of release." Added Cologne. "Apparently, none of the past victims would do."
"Okay, but how do we wake them up from this?" asked Ranma.
"Only you can do something, Ranma." Replied Nodoka. "You must come to terms with their feelings as well as your own."
The Winx Girls and Mousse got a bit nervous at that, but had to accept it, otherwise, they will continue their feral actions, and who knows what would happen if they were not kept in check. Worst case scenario, they would permanently be locked in their feral states of mind.
"Go ahead, Ranma. This is part of your life, after all." Said Bloom.
The other Faeries nodded. They're already with the pigtailed martial artist. What's two more in the group?
"I think it would be best to leave them alone for now." Sai Nodoka, sensing her son's embarrassment. "In any case, we need to do something about the incidents caused. It wouldn't do for Shampoo and Ukyou be taken in for something they were unaware of doing."
The Saotome Matriarch teleports everyone away, leaving Ranma alone with Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou. He looks between the two lycanthropes. 'I have to come to terms, huh? But how? I certainly hope I don't have to do… THAT… with them…' Ranma had a deep blush at that last thought. 'What am I thinking! ? I'm not a pervert! GRAAAH!' He slowly stood up as Were-Ukyou and Were-Shampoo followed suit, their eyes looking quite wild. 'So the longer they stay like this, they might turn completely feral, so how can I snap them out of it?'
It suddenly hit him.
'Oh yeah… talk about being right under your nose! But first…'
Ranma used a spell to split into two exact copies of himself, still of the same mind. The two were-girls became startled at this and nearly lashed out until each Ranma held them by the arms.
'Please let this work…' the two Ranmas thought at the same time.
At the same time, both Ranmas closed the gaps with Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou and locked lips with them. Almost immediately, the catgirl and foxgirl stopped their struggles as they went wide-eyed, their pupils reverting back to normal. (1)
"Ran…ma…"
The two were-girls became weak in the knees and closed their eyes, sinking deep into their respective osculations.
Once calming down and separating, Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou were a bit surprised to see the two Ranmas, who then fuse back into one being.
"Ranma…? What…?"
"Ranma? What going on?"
Ranma said nothing as he embraced the both of them, taking the girls by surprise and blushed in response.
"Ranma…? Why are you…?" started Were-Ukyou.
"I'm just glad to have you both back again…" said Ranma.
The eyes of the female lycanthropes began to water and hugged the pigtailed boy back, softly crying.
Saotome Complex, sometime later…
Ranma returns back homw with Shampoo and Ukyou in tow, both have been reverted to their human modes.
"Ranma! Shampoo! Ukyou! Are you three all right?" asked Flora in concern.
"We're fine, thanks, Flora." Replied Ukyou.
"I take it things have been settled?" inquired Musa.
"Yes." Ranma replied simply.
"So… what happened out there? Give us the details!" said Stella.
"Aiya! That… uh…" said Shampoo nervously.
"Stella, that's enough! It's their business!" Bloom chastised.
"Sheesh, spoil my fun, why don't you…"
Nodoka came in. "I'm glad nothing serious happened."
"So… uh… " Shampoo nervously started.
"Are you angry…?" asked Ukyou to Nodoka.
Nodoka shook her head. "Well, you two were being controlled, so I can't really fault you for your actions."
"That's not what I meant…"
"About Ranma…" added Shampoo.
"Again, I can't really fault you two. You both harbored feelings towards my son in the past, though the beginning reasons I can't really agree with since they were basically forced. Despite Ranma's situation with the… marriage arrangement placed on him, your feelings became genuine. That was proven moreso when you became part of my family and accepted Ranma's new situation. To wish for his own happiness over your own goes to show how much you care about my son. You've stuck with him and us through thick and thin. I cannot imagine such selfless acts to go unrewarded."
Ukyou and Shampoo's eyes widened at the meaning behind the words. "You mean…?"
"I suppose it means welcome to the club." Added Musa.
"If you don't mind sharing, that is." Said Nodoka.
Ranma blushed. It looked like they were once again back on, but this time without the animosity towards each other, so they can start out right.
The two female martial artists felt like they were going to cry. It was a dream come true, and all it took was some malevolent force causing them to nearly go bestial. They were saved emotionally as well as from being nearly turned completely feral.
"But what about all that talk from back then at the Neko Haten?" asked Ukyou.
"While it is true I want nothing to do with any proposals my foolish husband had made, it is different if my son willingly goes along with it without third party influence. I suppose you could call this whole thing a test for your resolve, and it's apparent you passed."
Shampoo and Ukyou smiled at that, then Shampoo thought of something. "Wait, does that mean if Violent Girl did same…?"
"I WOULD have, but considering what I have seen of her as of late, she was just too volatile, self-righteous, and abusive. Having her in the family would cause too much unnecessary conflict. In any case, she failed as she apparently only cares what she wants."
Everyone could only nod at that. They shuddered at the thought of having Akane part of the group. She was as bad as Mitzi, Diaspro, and Chimera.
"Shampoo not know how thank you…" said Shampoo.
"You both earned it." Said Nodoka.
Mousse looked down, but he was happy for Shampoo's good fortune.
"By the way…" Ranma cut in. "… you said something about fixing the incidents of the feral attacks. I wouldn't want Ukyou and Shampoo to be detained for something they had no control over."
"Don't worry. It's been taken care of." Bloom assured.
The next morning, the news became abuzz about the attacks, and people, including the victims, stated the cause was from a pack of wild squirrels. Thanks to Nodoka and the Winx, they used a spell to erase the town's memory of the attacks by Were-Shampoo and Were-Ukyou. The curfew was lifted and the authorities pulled back when they realized how stupid it sounded, marking it off as the Nerima insanity. Even the inhabitants of the Tendo Dojo were confused as to why they were out there that night.
"Squirrels? Really?" asked Ranma.
"Hey, it was the first thing that popped up at the time." Said Stella indignantly.
Somewhere else, the shadowy figure from before scowled.
"Hmph… you may have won this time, but I will have the last laugh! Hmmm… those certain people could be quite useful…"
The shadow vanished into the darkness.
One late afternoon a week later, Kasumi was on her way to Dr. Tofu Ono's clinic. She was surprised when she received a call from the young physician to meet him after hours. Kasumi wondered what Dr. Tofu wanted as his voice sounded a bit off when he called.
The eldest Tendo daughter let herself into the clinic and saw no one.
"Hello? Dr. Tofu, are you here? It's me, Kasumi."
Kasumi looked to see a form shambling out into the room from the back. She was shocked to see Dr. Tofu entering in with his head bandaged up.
"K… Kasu… mi?"
"Dr. Tofu? What happened to you! ?"
"Training…"
It was true. Dr. Tofu had spent rigorous hours training to keep himself under control. He had surrounded himself with pictures of Kasumi to practice. In the beginning, it was tough as he kept crashing into things. He also tried a poker-face exercise to make sure that his facial expressions would not change via wired clothespins to his face, which would cause random objects to smash in his face.(2) He even had Ranma over to assist him in this endeavor, where he instructed the pigtailed boy to smash him over the head with a frying pan if he showed signs of going into a "Kasumi-itis attack".
Flashback…
"You sure about this, Dr. Tofu?" asked Ranma as he held the frying pan.
"I have to do this, Ranma." Replied Dr. Tofu. "I've got to get over this."
"Alright then…" Ranma flashes a photo of Kasumi. "Look! It's Kasumi!"
The results were predictable as the doctor's glasses fogged up. "Aaaah! Ka-Ka-Ka-Kasumi!"
WHAM!
Dr. Tofu was floored after Ranma smashed him over the head.
"Sheesh… and this was only from a photo…"
The physician got up. "Okay, let's try that again…"
Ranma flashed the photo again. "Look! It's Kasumi!"
"Aaaah! Ka-Ka-Ka-Kasumi!"
WHAM!
Ranma sighed as he looked at the downed Tofu.
'This is going to take a while…'
End flashback…
Everyday for the past week, he put himself through hell to purge himself of his uncontrolled nervousness whenever around Kasumi.
"I've gone through pain and suffering, but I think I have made progress…"
Kasumi couldn't believe what she had heard. He went through all this trouble just for her. She also noticed how he wasn't going on another nervous attack around her.
"It would seem you have." Said Kasumi.
"Eh heh… I glad… maybe now we can talk? I'd like to know what's been going on with you."
"Indeed. I suppose I should start with how things are right now."
They sat down as Kasumi began to explain her situation which caused her to rethink her life and the decision to leave her family.

Music starts as shots of the Winx, Shampoo, and Ukyou flash by.

Ranma runs by as in the background shows sexy body shots of Bloom and Stella in sensuous poses. They suddenly drop down upon Ranma, who quickly catches them on his shoulders. The girls giggle, then Bloom vanishes into flame while Stella is beamed away in a light column.

Ranma resumes running as body shots of Flora and Musa go by. Flora suddenly drops in front of Ranma, causing him to catch her bridal style while Musa jumps in from behind and grabs around his neck. They spun around a bit before stopping, then Flora dissipates into flower petals while Musa turns into musical notes, drifting away.

Ranma runs again as it shows body shots of Tecna and Layla pass by. Tecna drops down, crashing on Ranma's back, knocking him down as Layla rises up from a geyser. The two quickly help Ranma back up on his feet and dust him off. Tecna vanishes into binary code while Layla melts into water.

Ranma runs as body shots of Shampoo and Ukyou play. The two suddenly leap at Ranma from above and the front, tackling him down. The three suddenly fall below screen.
Finally, Ranma is seen running from the front towards the screen where he trips. Pans upwards to the sky to show Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Layla, Shampoo, and Ukyou joining hands in a circle as they sky-dive towards the screen. It angles to show them gliding towards Alfea in the distance. Ranma drops down looking tired.
