How could you leave me?
Just like that
I felt my heart being torn away
Ripped out of my body
Now only my physical form is left
As my soul is slowly drifting away
I don't want to let it go
Nor gather up the pieces
I wish that you could've stayed longer
So that you could see
How I am now
Is how I was meant to be
You probably won't agree
With what I'm about to say
But I know you are watching over me
Standing by my side, even when I can't
see
I know I'm losing perspective
Of what life was meant to be
But I can't help it
I can't live without you
So now I say, with a heavy heart
That I have moved on
Not in the way that you think I have
In this way I depart
So just remember one thing
I will always remember you
And now I will come and join you
In eternal rest...
