Chapter 57: Burning Up! Bloom's Flaming Fist!

Ranma's training spot...

Ranma faced off against Valtor as he held his right arm out, clad in a red full-metal gauntlet due to a surprise transformation from Bloom. His gauntlet hand was engulfed in flames as he glared at the dark wizard before him.

"So you got a new power, so what?" said Valtor as he charged up his dark energies. "It's not like it matters. You're still going to fall before me!"

He fires a fast beam of darkness at Ranma, causing an explosion that obscured his body. Valtor smirks after supposedly killing Ranma. However, the boy in question suddenly appeared at his side, and before he knew it, Valtor gets a gauntlet fist in his face, sending him flying into a nearby rock, breaking it on impact. The dark wizard was taken completely by surprise as he got up slowly while holding his burned cheek.

"Odd. From where I'm standing, you're the one who fell down." said Ranma.

'Oh, that felt good!' said Gauntlet Bloom.

"It sure did!" Ranma flexes his hand.

Valtor clenches his teeth in anger. "You will pay for your insolence!"

"Then come get some!" said Ranma as he readied his flaming fist.

With screams of rage, Ranma and Valtor charged at each other.

Opening (Fire Force style, 'Inferno')

Music starts as we see Enchantix Bloom fly towards the background over a rocky plain at night. Pans upwards as the "Ranma Club" title appears.

Terasu wa yami bokura (The darkness shines in my days)

Arukinarete kita hibi matotta (I got used to walking with it)

Yume wa antai na kurashi da ga (My dream is to have a safe life)

Shigeki busoku yue ni daradara (Even if it gets boring for lack of action)

Ranma is running atop a cliff and jumps towards Valtor, where they have an aerial tangle. Valtor fires a dark sphere and Ranma fires his Moko Takabisha.

Bloom flies around dodging ice blasts from Icy. She then charges forth with a fire shield, melting any ice projectiles coming her was where she quickly closes the gap between them and counters with a flame blast.

Terasu wa yami bokura no (The light could become our darkness)

Arukinareteita michi wa doko da? (If you do not know which way to go)

Toki wa tama ni shaku da ga (Jealousy will sometimes try to surround you)

Nukumori ni tsutsumaretara (So do not let yourself be suffocated by its heat)

Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Layla in their Enchantix forms fly off as they face off against Darcy, Stormy, and Happosai. Their respective elemental blasts go all over before going to Happosai throwing his Happodaikarin Bomb, causing an explosion.

Honoo ga adatsu shirube no hou e (The feeling of remembering those who lead)

Omoidasu wa yasashii melody (It's like a soft melody)

Ryoga is seen walking around, completely lost. Cut to Shampoo and Ukyou standing alone in Alfea's auditorium with their heads hung before slowly raising them up.

Cut to a shot of the Trix, a shot of the Winx, then finally a closeup of Valtor.

Eien wa nain da to nain da to iu (If you tell me there is no eternity)

Sore mo mata ii na to waratte miru (Then smile because it's a good thing)

Kagayakeba itsuka wa hikari mo taeru (If the light that shines someday goes out)

Bokura wa inochi no hi ga (We have the fire of life)

Ranma-chan in Faerie mode breaks through a rock wall as she charges at Valtor, trading magical blows. The Winx and the Trix go at it with each other while Shampoo and Ukyou tangle with Happosai. Cologne suddenly drops in to assis the two girls.

Kieru sono hi made aruite yuku (We will walk together until it disappears)

At Alfea, we see Nodoka with Mousse, Kasumi, Dr. Tofu, Sasuke, Kiko, the Pixies and Faragonda. Flashes to Xander, looking back with a scared expression.

Oto ga deru gongu mo itami wo tobasu mahou mo zenbu boku ni totte no takaramono (The sound of a toy can be the magic that heals pain, be sure to treasure it)

Each of the Winx drop down from the air, firing off her respective powers, ending with Bloom.

Eien wa nain da to nain da to iu (If you tell me there is no eternity)

Bokura wa inochi no hi ga (We have the fire of life)

They all land before Valtor, who is powering up while facing Ranma. Bloom runs over and places Ranma's hand over her breasts, causing her to transform into the red flaming gauntlet fitted over his right arm.

Kieru sono hi made aruite yuku (We will walk together until it disappears)

Ranma charges for with his gauntlet fist reared back before punching the screen with a flaming fist.

End opening

Stella had just finished tying up the unconscious Trix with ropes of light to keep them bound.

"Whoa… I didn't know Ranma and Bloom had such an ability!" said Musa as she and the others watched the fight.

"It's still puzzling how they did that." said Tecna.

"Shouldn't we help?" asked Flora.

Cologne held out her arm. "Not yet. Son-in-Law has just acquired a new power and needs to learn how to use it to its full potential, and the only way he knows how is through battle. We'll help when need be, but we have to make sure these three are kept quiet."

The girls looked to the bound unconscious Trix.

Back to the fight, Valtor fired off blasts of dark energies which Ranma just dodges, or swat away with his gauntlet hand.

"How are you feeling, Bloom?" asked Ranma as he weaved in and out.

'Don't worry about me, Ranma! I almost don't feel anything in this form!' replied Bloom.

"Good to know!" He cancels out a blast with a punch.

Valtor gets angry at his failure to get a shot in and rushes at Ranma after forming a shaft of dark lightning in his hand. He delivered an overhead slash, which Ranma quickly blocked with his gauntlet. Platinum Sky emerged and kicked Valtor in the head, knocking him back.

"Damned souls!" said Valtor in an angry tone. "You're nothing without them!"

"Maybe. I'm not sure I'd even exist without them, but at least I have a soul, unlike you." said Ranma before cracking his knuckles. "But since you want me to fight you as I am without soul usage, I'll oblige if only to stop your damn whining. I need the practice anyway."

Valtor raged at the insult. "You'll pay for this insult!" He swings his lightning shaft at Ranma, who deflects them with his gauntlet before finally stopping it with a shaft of flame it produced.

"Well come on then!" said Ranma.

Ranma and Valtor clashed with each other's magical blades, causing a shower of sparks with each hit. The next attack forced them both back where Valtor fired off a large ball of dark energies. Ranma reared back and punched forth with his gauntlet fist, which shot an equally big ball of flame. The two attacks collided, causing an explosion.

'Ranma! Look out!' said Gauntlet Bloom.

Once the dust cleared, Ranma looked up to see Valtor flying above and shot a huge bolt of dark lightning at him. He quickly dove out of the way before the ground he was on got destroyed. Ranma brought out Sky's longsword, holding it in his gauntlet hand. The blue light blade was suddenly emitting flames as he made a slashing motion, firing an arc of flame at Valtor, who barely managed to dodge in time.

"Wow, Ranma's in the zone!" said Ukyou.

"Looks like he's getting used to his new accessory." said Stella.

"Still, the method of how he got it is kind of… risque..." said Flora as she blushed.

The other girls could only blush as they remembered how Ranma practically groped Bloom's breast that turned her into a gauntlet.

"What is this!? Untie us, you damned faeries!" shouted Icy.

The girls and Cologne turned to see the Trix have woken up in an angry state, struggling against their light bonds.

"How dare you do this to us!" said Darcy as sh and her witch sisters struggled.

"I swear when I get out of this I'll clip your wings!" shouted Stormy.

Before they knew it, the Trix were suddenly struck on their heads by Cologne's staff, making them cry out in pain.

"Watch your tones, you brats." said Cologne.

"Yeah. Just sit back and enjoy show!" said Shampoo as she kicked the three bound witches forward, making them grunt in pain.

The Trix get angry at the rough treatment, then blanched as they saw the fight between Ranma and Valtor.

Ranma picks up a nearby rock the size of a chair and spiked it towards Valtor as if it were a volleyball, causing it to catch fire. Valtor stopped it with a dark barrier then shot a barrage of dark missiles. Ranma ran around to dodge the shots, which kicked up a lot of dust. To his surprise, Valtor shot out from the dust emitting a dark aura towards him, He fired a blast point-blank at Ranma, knocking him back into a rock formation. Before he could even bounce off the rock, Valtor quickly dashed in and grabbed Ranma's wrists and shoved them back onto the rock, where they get magically shackled to it with energy cuffs, temporarily binding his arms.

Valtor then charges up more dark energies in his hand as he prepares to fire another point blank shot, aimed at his face. "What now, boy? Without your arms, you can't possibly-"

WHACK!

Valtor was cut off as he winced in absolute pain, causing his magic buildup to dissipate. It's revealed that Ranma's foot was driven up between the dark wizard's legs. Gauntlet Bloom couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

The girls watching winced after seeing Ranma kick Valtor in his family jewels while the Trix looked shocked.

"Ooh… that's a low blow." said Musa.

Valtor fell to his knees as he held his pained groin.

"You forget about the kicking, asshole. Not that an arrogant sleaze like you would think of it." said Ranma. He then proves this point again by upperkicking Valtor's chin, knocking him back. His gauntlet hand managed to break out of the energy cuff before breaking the other one, freeing himself.

'I'd like to get a shot in, too, if you don't mind.' said Gauntlet Bloom.

"Of course." Ranma was quickly upon Valtor, who was too pained to move. "One more thing, asswipe." He roughly picks up Valtor by the front of his coat. "This is for what happened in that cavern." Valtor's eyes widened when he sees Ranma clench his gauntlet fist as it became engulfed in flame.

"FLAMING UPPERCUT!"

Ranma delivers a hard uppercut to Valtor, sending him flying upward and back, where he crashed painfully to the ground, clutching his injured face.

"GYAAAAAAAAHHH!"

"I hit you hard enough to not knock you out. You WILL experience this pain." said Ranma. "But that pain is nothing compared to the pain you caused me that day. And look! I stomped your stupid ass without using my souls. Satisfied?"

"I'll get you for this..." said Valtor in a pained tone. He knew he was in no position to fight further and decides to retreat. With what strength he had left, he teleports himself and the bound Trix away, much to the Winx and martial artists' surprise.

"How typical, they ran." said Layla in disgust.

"We did it, Bloom." said Ranma.

'We sure did!' said Gauntlet Bloom. 'This was quite a sensation.'

"I'll say."

"Ranma! Bloom!"

Ranma turned to see the rest of the Winx, Shampoo, Ukyou, and Cologne coming over to him.

Stella reverted, with the others following suit. The blonde quickly embraces Ranma.

"Oh Ranma! Bloom! Thank goodness you're both all right!" said Stella.

"Well done, Son-in-Law." said Cologne.

"Thanks, but you really saved us, Elder." said Ranma.

"Oh? It's Elder now? What happened to Old Ghoul?"

"Let's just say I've found a new respect for you after today."

"Heh, it's about time you realized that, sonny."

"Bloom? Is that really you?" asked Flora as she and the others looked at Ranma's red gauntlet, who held it up.

'It is. It feels strange like this, to be honest.' replied Gauntlet Bloom. 'It's like I was able to fight as one with Ranma.'

"Looks like you got yourself a new accessory, eh?" teased Stella. "Quite bold of you, too."

"Uh…. Hey… it wasn't like that… I was just… experimenting..." said Ranma in a flustered tone.

"In any case, Bloom won't stay like this, will she?" asked Tecna.

"Tecna's got a point." said Musa. "Bloom, can you revert back?"

'Hold on. Let me try...' said Gauntlet Bloom.

The gauntlet on Ranma's hand began to glow with a red light as Bloom focused her magic to revert like she usually does when going from Faerie mode to human mode. A moment later, a silhouette of Bloom's body formed as she was suddenly in Ranma's arms in bridal style.

"Oh, I'm back!" said Bloom. She noticed she was in Ranma's arms, making her a bit flustered, then noticed Ranma had his head turned away as he was blushing furiously and looked to be on the verge of a nosebleed. That was when Bloom noticed a draft and discovered that she was completely naked. Letting off a small yelp, Bloom quickly covered her breasts and blushed hard.

"Oh my..." said Flora.

"What happened to her clothes?" asked Ukyou.

"Hold on! I got you, Bloom!" said Stella as she shot a beam of sparkles at Bloom, which caused her to be clothed in her casuals again.

"Thanks, Stella." said Bloom, grateful for the save.

"Hey, what are friends for?"

Bloom smiles then looks over to Ranma. "Hey Ranma, it's okay, you can look now."

"Huh? Oh, right." said an embarrassed Ranma before setting her down. He looks at everyone there. "Thanks, girls, for everything. And again, I'm truly sorry for all the drama I put you all through."

"Like we said before, it's perfectly fine now." said Tecna. "It's all water under the bridge."

"If anything, we owe thanks to Ukyou and Shampoo." said Flora as they all turned to them. "Thank you for getting Ranma back to himself again. He would've never recovered without you two."

"Don't mention it. I'm glad to have him back, too." said Ukyou.

"Ranma always be Ranma." added Shampoo.

"She's right, you know." said Ranma as he hugged the two female martial artists. "Again, thank you."

Shampoo and Ukyou blushed at this, but softly hug him back.

"Well come on, everyone. We need to return to Alfea." said Cologne, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Best idea I've heard all night." said Musa.

Everyone then leaves the area. Moments after they were gone, a fist breaks out from the ground. The person digs himself out and looks around.

"Oh great! Where in the world am I now!?"

Guess who's still lost?

Alfea, next day…

News of Ranma recovering from his inner turmoil reached Nodoka as she was happy that her son was back to himself. He resumed taking his magic classes to prepare for what life throws at him. Still, Ranma wondered about the power-up he had with Bloom. What could've caused it? Would he be able to do it again? Ranma got embarrassed as he recalled the method of how he had Bloom turned into a gauntlet in the first place.

"Hello, Ranma."

Ranma turned to see Xander. "Oh, Xander."

"I'm glad to see you're all right. Everyone and I had been worried."

"I know, and I'm sorry for that. I had some serious issues to work out."

"I'm happy for you."

"Thanks. Maybe then we'll discover more about yourself in the future."

Xander looked down. "Yeah, I hope so, too. Still no progress, though."

"Oh, sorry to hear that."

Xander smiles. "But no matter. In the meantime, I can still enjoy time here! Everyone's been so good to me!"

"Yeah, you're absolutely right." said Ranma as he looks out to the sky and thinks of the girls in his life. "You're absolutely right..."

Winx Dorm…

"C'mon, Bloom! Spill it! How did you feel when you transformed into a gauntlet?" asked Stella.

"Well… it's hard to describe." said Bloom. "I felt like myself, but at the same time, not myself. I was an inanimate object, for crying out loud. Though I also felt myself moving through Ranma's body."

"You mean moving like a martial artist? That must've been one crazy ride." said Musa.

"I'm pretty active myself, but I doubt I could move the way Ranma does." said Layla. "So you felt the time Ranma kicked Valtor… there, right?"

"Yes, and it felt satisfying!" laughed Bloom.

"Makes me jealous. I would've liked to have done that myself." said Musa.

"It's really fascinating." said Tecna. "I'm still puzzled how it happened."

"I've been wondering that, myself." said Flora.

"Well don't ask me, I don't know, either. It just kinda happened." said Bloom.

"Yeah that's interesting and all, but not what I was referring to!" said Stella. "I'm talking about how you felt when Ranma grabbed your-"

"Stella!" said Bloom as she blushed hard as did the other girls.

"Ha! Admit it! You liked that, didn't you?"

"Stella, enough!"

"So was he gentle?"

"This conversation is over!"

"Okay okay, fine. You're no fun at all." Stella then blushes as she smirks a bit. "You know I was just thinking… could it be the same for us?"

Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Layla also blushed hard when Stella brought up that point.

"STELLA!"

The other girls immediately pelted the blonde with their pillows.

"Hey! It was an honest question!"

In the courtyard, Ranma sneezed.

"Excuse me."

"Coming down with something?" asked Xander.

"I sure hope not..."

Ending

Somewhere in the wilderness…

"Man! Everything looks the same around here!" complained Ryoga. The lost boy continued trudging through the forest trying to find his way around.

"Typical I'd find you out here, punk."

Ryoga turned to see Happosai. "You. Also, what happened to you?"

"Cologne, that's what!"

"So you've been beaten, huh?"

"Did a lot better than you, boy!"

"Whatever. In any case, we should head back."

"Then you better not fall behind or I'll just leave you out here!" Happosai went on his way, causing Ryoga to follow quickly behind him. He didn't want to spend another week wandering again.

I know it's short, but I just wanted to get this out of the way. So now Ranma gets a new power up, which could foreshadow others…

I still plan on trying to go through the other seasons in this way. Fair warning, I'm going to completely ignore season 8 as I think it's a shitty season. Not only does the art style look ugly as shit, it also has a lot of ass-pull plots. It made me feel disgusted as it derailed a lot of things and seems to have gone WOKE. Kind of reflects in how I wrote the fight between Ranma and Valtor.
