Disclaimer: This is mine. Noa belongs to someone else, but he is just the vehicle. This is mine.

I am not a religious nut. Really. I'm agnostic.

No God But Man

Noa. The name of a prophet. A man who saved the earth. Allowed for the continuation of life. Noa. A great man. But I am no man. I am a child. And I am no prophet. I am God.

My name. Noa. The man, my namesake, managed to save so many people, but he couldn't save me. I hold his name, and yet he allowed for my life to be ripped from me so suddenly. He allowed for my father to desend further into madness. He let his God do this to me. Noa. You followed your orders, you played God's game. But I have become God, welcome to my game.

My game, my world. I play with him. Seto. No name, no meaning, no nothing. He's nothing. He was meant to be nothing. But yet he is. Fierce and proud. His very name is cause for awe. Yes his name. First name meaning nothing, last name of a great man. A living giant. Seto Kaiba. That name should belong to me.

Seven days, seven turns, one life. I am God, you are my underling. I have the power to take your life. To destroy what my father couldn't. Your pride, independance, a soul that wouldn't hesitate to challange the Gods themselves. A power you have. The only power you have. Without your pride you would fall.

And your brother. You need him. And look at him, standing before you with hate burning in his eyes. I play my game, just like you have played yours for years. And look at you fall. But you stand back up. Your brother's back. And those unfortunate people caught in my wrath, just like the innocents of Egypt, they're here too. Here for you, though you push them away.

With you, there is always one more turn, one more day, one more chance to make things right. You are no angel though, and I am no God. But he, he is the fallen angel, the devil. His game, his last game was meant for you, and I was his piece. He left you without a piece, with very little chance. And yet you played. You are a man, a human, he is almighty. The devil, the fallen one. And yet, you won. You played with fire, you got burned, and you continued to play. And you won.

And yet, escape is still very important. So I will finally live up to my namesake. I will finally take the path that truck planned out for me. I will follow Noa's path, but unlike him, I do not plan to survive. You were meant to, I wasn't.

Noa, my namesake, a great man. And my death.

Noa.
