In this chapter, new members join and the end of Sakkakumon.

Chapter 14: Will of Steel
DARK CONTINENT
WITH THE GANG
Grademon sighs as he sat knelt beside the warriors who had returned to being human to save their energy, Bokomon was on Zoe's lap after being zapped by Seraphimon's fractal code which Takuya got back from Mercurymon.
Daisuke was resting in Grademon's arms, whatever the egg did had severely drained her of energy, Merigold was beside him watching on in worry for both Bokomon and her mother. Nearby Sabrina was filling in Jun Motomiya who had just woken up on what had happened.
She looked up as Aldamon flew out of the now dark Sakkakumon and joined them on the ground, becoming Takuya he ran over to them. He paused as he saw the out-cold Daisuke and wriggling Bokomon who yells as the egg swells and shudders.
"What's wrong with Bokomon and Daisuke?" Takuya asked.
"We don't know!" Zoe said making JP nod.
"He was zapped by Seraphimon's data and Daisuke got drained after helping make the fusion spirit for you and Koji somehow," JP explains as Takuya nods.
"Daisuke will be fine, she just needs rest," Grademon said glancing down at the young girl.
"Look! The egg," Merigold said gesturing to the egg as blue cracks appear.
"What is happening!?" Takuya asked.
"The egg! It's hatching," Zoe yelled as Sabrina glanced over as Jun looked over in confusion.
"You mean Seraphimon's being born right now?!" JP asked.
"This is the most beautiful thing ever!" Neemon said.
Only for the group to go wide eyes as a big cloud of smoke covers the group, coughs rang out the smoke clears.
"And the smokiest," Neemon added as Merigold sneezed.
"That was something," Grademon said shaking his head with the smoke gone everyone looked at the new digimon now flying before them.
"It's Patamon," Sabrina said with a smile as she walks over with Jun who now held a dark blue and black D-tectors which contain her spirits.
Zoe had handed over the two spirits, the human spirit now looking like a kneeling pirate than a squid lady to Jun's relief, she did not want to see Ranamon for a very long time.
"He's my little baby, now come say hi to mama!" Bokomon said looking overjoyed as the group look at him in shock.
"You want him to call you mama!?" Everyone asked as Grademon shook his head.
"It's not uncommon for male mated pairs to have children you know," Grademon said making the group share looks.
Patamon, who had his own pink waistband on his body, smiled and flew down to hug Bokomon. Everyone's attention then turns to Sakkukmon as the beast began to rise in the air and vanish, Takuya looks around uneasy, with Daisuke out of it he was in charge of everyone's safety.
Grademon stood up and held Daisuke close to his chest, Jun watched him closely before nodding as she went over to Merigold to meet her new niece. She was amazed by that thought alone, she so wasn't telling their parents this when they got back!
"Well, at least we got an answer as to what was in Seraphimon's egg," JP said looking at Patamon.
"Shame the others missed it," Sabrina said hoping Davis, Adam, and Ayame had found Koji.
Speaking of which Sabrina went over to Takuya who was looking at his D-tector with a frown.
"Any news?" Sabrina asked making Takuya look at her with a shake of his head.
"Not yet but we're right about who Mercurymon is bonded to," Takuya said holding up his D-tector letting the screen show the new human spirit of steel.
It was a female decked in armor, black and dark purple, so Murcurymon was bonded to Adam's friend Kurenai. Let's hope they can defeat the beast spirit now and save her.
"Once we recuse Koichi and Kureni that will be all of the warriors reunited," Sabrina said making Takuya nod and look back at his screen.
"Koji! Come in Koji!" Takuya said as everyone else came over.
He then shook his head saying "It's no use, wherever he is I can't get through to him,"
Sabrina pulled her D-tector out and tried to contact her brother but got the same result.
"Same here, something must be blocking us," Sabrina said.
"That doesn't sound good," JP said making Takuya turn to his friends.
"We better search for them," Takuya said making everyone nod, then Neemon looks up and spots something that definitely is not good.
"Hold that thought!" Neemon yells pointing up making everyone look at where he was pointing and gasped.
It was Sakkakumon! He was back, his whole body glowing and convulsing.
"Check it out! He's twitching like he's about to strike," Takuya said as everyone backs up, Merigold summons her staff as she stood in front of Grademon and Daisuke.
"Why is he doing that?!" Jun asked.
"I'm not sure I really want to know," Bokomon said before opening his waistband and looking up at Patamon.
"Hurry Patamon, get in," He said making Patamon frown.
"But Papama, I don't think I can fit in there anymore," Patamon said as Neemon watched on.
Suddenly Sakkakumon glows white making everyone cover their eyes, laughter rang out as Sakkakumon shrunk down to half his size.
"Behold! The legendary warriors, I must congratulate thee, it is true thyn efforts have given me more than even I could dream of," Sakkakumon said the top sphere talking since it was the only one with a mouth.
"What?" Sabrina asked shocked.
Suddenly Sakkakumon pulled into a big ball of moving eyes until one was pointed at the group, suddenly JP's symbol appears as Sakkakumon yells "Thunderstrike!"
"Look out!" Jun yells as everyone dodged to the sides to avoid the strikes.
"Hey! What's the deal? He's stealing my moves!" JP yelled not happy about this.
"Yeah! That's Sandamon's attack," Takuya said as Sakkakumon moves to a different eye this time.
"And now one for the ladies, Hurricane Gale!" Sakkakumon said sending out a blast of wind making everyone duck.
"That's just not right!" Zoe yelled looking pissed off.
"No kidding!" Teresa said growling as Takuya nodded.
"Let's show him how it's really done!" Takuya said as he pulls his D-tector out.
Jun watched as everyone got theirs out and data surrounded them as they became their warrior selves, she looked down at her own device and grips it tightly.
Mikomon growls as Yukimon went to attack but Sakkakumon shot it right back, it then clicked in her head at what Sakakkumon had done.
"So that's what he did!" Mikomon said making everyone look at her.
"Did what?" Aldamon asked.
"It was a trap from the beginning that was true but not for the reasons we all thought, he could have kept you guys inside his beast self forever if he wanted to but he let you go once he had what he wanted, your move sets, he made you fight inside those dimensions to recorded how you fight," Mikomon said holding her staff at the ready.
"And so Lady Destiny shows she is a smart one, her words are true, my plan worked better than I could have hoped for, the stronger the foe the greater the response, all in the name of glory! My glory! And now all of your powers can be mirrored by me!" Sakkakumon said but in his power rush, he seemed to be forgetting a small little detail.
"Oh yeah? You seem to be forgetting something!" Mikomon yelled as she rushed forward and made a sphere of aura.
"Aura Sphere!" Mikomon yells throwing the attack hitting Sakkakumon making him yell.
"Argh!" He yells as Mikomon lands.
"My self and my siblings were not inside and thus you didn't copy our moves," Mikomon said twirling her staff.
"That would seem to be an error on my part, something I will rectify now," Sakkakumon said as he began to unleash attacks at Mikomon who dodged them.
"Guys! I'll lure him away, you figure out how to take him down!" Mikomon yells as she turns and ran making sure Sakkakumon was chasing her.
"I'll help!" Merigold yelled as she ran after her aunt.
"Merigold!" Grademon yelled about to run after her but the sudden jolt made Daisuke grunt in pain, he stops to check on her and saw that she was still out cold.
"Mikomon! Merigold!" Kazemon yelled about to take off after them.
"Wait, she's right, we need a plan," Aldamon said making everyone turn to him.
"He's got all of our moves though, what are we gonna do? We can't just make new ones those take time," Yukimon said summoning a spear of ice.
"What about trapping him and then attacking as we did with Duskmon?" Sandamon asked but Kazemon shook her head.
"Then we had more time to prepare, Mikomon, and Sachimon can only give us so much," Kazemon said.
"Wait, you guys said he has all of your attacks right?" Jun said walking over with Grademon and Daisuke, who was safely wrapped in Grademon's cape now to protect her from any harm that might come their way and keep her warm.
"Yeah," Aldamon said looking at Jun.
"So why not combine your attacks? That will confuse him and throw him off guard, as you guys saw he was only doing attacks one at a time," Jun said showing that she like her siblings was a very bright girl and that the triplets got her sharp eyes for details.
"That might work!" Sandamon said.
"I hope so or we're all toast," Yukimon said as she summons an ice wolf and placed Bokomon and Neemon onto the icy being, Patamon was sitting on Bokomon's head.
"Wolfy!" Patamon said with a giggle.
"Nice doggy!" Neemon said as Bokomon shivers from the cold.
"Let's go!" Aladamon said as everyone ran in the direction Mikomon had led Sakkakumon with Merigold.
They follow the sounds of fighting into a dark cave where they saw Mikomon kneeling on the ground panting as Merigold was leaning against the rocky wall looking ruffed up, above them Sakkakumon was laughing and mocking them.
"Now any last words my ladies before the final act of your play comes to a close?" Sakkakumon taunts as Mikomon growls at him.
"The only final act here will be you!" Kazemon yells as she rushed over and slashed at Sakkakumon who dodged to the side to avoid her.
"Attack everyone!" Aldamon yells as he charged in.
Jun pants as she watched them fight, she looked over at Merigold and saw her move over to Mikomon and help her up, she must have spotted Grademon nearby and was gonna take them to safety. Jun sighs only to go wide-eyed as she saw an attack heading their way! She had to do something! She then gasped as her D-tector screen glows.
"It is time," A female voice said as Jun nods with a grin as data surrounds her.
INSIDE THE DATA CACOON
Jun smirks as she stood on a platform with a light blue and black background, she moved her arms in a teardrop shape as a ring of data appears on her hand, she grins moving her D-tector and scanning the ring.
"Execute! Spirit evolution!" Jun yells throwing her arms out as her clothing vanishes, behind her the female pirate totem glows blue as water rushed from it and towards Jun.
Her body glows light blue as it grew into an adult female, her hair grew longer until it reached her butt in length, and gained some braids in it. She held out her arms and legs as water wraps around her body before burning to show clothing and armor on her body, boots and gloves form as a hat appears on her head. The glow left her skin to show pale skin tone with glowing purple eyes and silver hair as a necklace appears on her neck with a purple pearl having the same glow as her eyes. Blue lips turn into a smile as she jumps and lands on a platform and held out her hand summoning a large sword from water.
She grabs it and swung the blade yelling "Mizumon!"
OUTSIDE THE CACOON
Mikomon gasped as the attack that was heading right at them was sliced in half, she blinks and looks at who did it and saw the new warrior of water in all her glory.
"Looking good sis," Mikomon said as Mizumon looks back with a smile.
"Feels good too, now if you'll excuse me I believe I owe Sakkakumon a punch or two," Mizumon said as she jumps over to the fight and pulls back her sword.
"Water strike!" Mizumon yells swinging her sword sending out a slash of blue energy which hits Sakkakumon making him yell.
"Look! Jun did it!" Sandamon said as the pirate digimon landed before looking over her shoulder with a smirk.
"Ready to end this?" Mizumon asked making everyone grin.
"Yeah, can you guys hold him still so I can get a clear shot," Aldamon asked making everyone nod.
"Thunderstrike!" Sandamon said spinning his sword before stabbing it into the ground sending out a strike of thunder.
"Ice breath!" Yukimon yelled as she breathed out a huge gust of icy wind.
"Whirlwind blast!" Kazemon yelled pointing her sword at Sakkakumon and letting out a huge blast of wind.
"Water blast!" Mizumon yelled the orb on her sword glows making five water balls appear in front of Mizumon before shooting at Sakkakumon in powerful streams.
The four attacks combine and hit Sakkakumon making him yell and freeze in place, Aldamon smirks as he held out his arms making the gauntlets turn and come to life.
"Atomic inferno!" Aldamon yells firing off his attack hitting the core of Sakkakumon.
Sakkakumon yells as his body turns dark and his fractal code appears as Aldamon flew over.
"Time for some purification, the final chapter to a long and overwritten book! Fractal code digitize!" Aldamon said as he scans the code.
The shadow of Sakkakumon fades to show a human outline which returns to normal to show a young girl, around 12 with a fair skin tone, short black hair reaching her chin and a bit spiky, her eyes closed as she fell forward into Aldamon's arms. She had on a black polo-neck top with no sleeves, a grey denim jacket, with knee-length camouflage pants, and white socks with black shoes.
Aldamon lands and placed the girl, who must be Kurenai, on the ground gently as he looked at the beast of steel as the fractal code went into the totem and changed it. Now instead of a mass of spheres and eyes, it was a tiger-lady of some kind with a mean-looking sword and black armor.
"And that's the last of Mercurymon, now all that's left is Duskmon," Aldamon said as everyone came over.
"Let's get out of this cave first, everyone needs a rest and a moment to recover," Mizumon said looking herself over.
"Right," Yukimon said as Aldamon made a ball of fire and led everyone out of the cave where they changed back to human form.
Kurenai was on the ground as Bokomon checked her over, Grademon was sat on his knees with Daisuke resting on his lap as Jun checked her sister over with Zoe as Merigold watched on.
"She is fine, just drained," Bokomon said as Jun nods.
"Ngh," Daisuke groans making everyone look over.
"Daisuke?" Grademon asked watched as Daisuke slowly opens her eyes.
"Oh, I feel like I got hit by a ton of soccer balls," Daisuke said making everyone chuckle.
"You look like it too," Jun said making Daisuke give her a mock glare.
"Geez, thanks for that," Daisuke mutters making Jun smirk as she reached over and helped Daisuke to sit up.
"Thanks, whose lap am I on?" Daisuke asked before looking up at Grademon.
"Oh! Uh, Grademon, was I sleeping the whole time in your lap?" Daisuke asked a blushing spreading across her cheeks making Jun smirk and glint in her eyes.
Back home it was very hard trying to get Daisuke to blush, so for her to blush so easily with Grademon, well, Jun was gonna milk that for all its work. She had a feeling something else was at play here but she was not gonna touch that subject just yet, she wanted her other sibling's opinions on this matter later.
"Not exactly, though he hasn't put you down the whole time everyone was fighting," Merigold said making Daisuke look at her daughter.
"Fighting? What happened while I was out," Daisuke asked as she took note of the new girl out cold on the ground.
Takuya stepped in and told Daisuke what happened and how Jun had spirit evolved to help them, along with Mercurymon being gone for good. Daisuke sighs rubbing her head as she got off Grademon's lap, he stood up and watched her closely in case she was unstable or anything.
"What a day," Daisuke huffed as she shook her head.
"Any word from the others?" Daisuke asked making Bokomon shake his head.
"Not a word," He said only to jump as a static noise filled the air.
"Speak of the devil!" JP said as Sabrina pulled her D-tector out to show the screen was glowing with the symbol of earth on it.
"Chikyumon here! Can you guys hear me?! If you can head...well I don't know where we are! But follow the flying lights and explosion! Hurry! AH! No down birdie!" Chikyumon yelled over the D-tector before it cut out.
"I don't like the sound of that," Jun said as JP sighed.
"We never get a minute's peace do we?" He said as rubbed his head.
"Well let's get moving, our friends are in trouble and need our help," Daisuke said making Takuya nod as he looks at Kurenai.
"Whose carrying her?" Takuya asked making Jun step forward.
"I will, it will help me get used to my spirit," Jun said as she spirits evolves into Mizumon once more.
"We still don't know which direction they're in," Teresa said as Patamon flies up giggling.
"I sense something this way," Patamon said as he began flying in a single direction.
"Follow the Patamon," Grademon said making Merigold giggle.
"Right! Let's go, everyone!" Sabrina yells as everyone yells and began making their way towards their friends.
