What's up, everyone! This is GKC here bringing you the next chapter to "The Heroic Hunter".

My freaking God! This story has so many followers and favorites now! I'm wondering if it'll reach damn-near a thousand like the previous one. In any case, I've been looking over the reviews and there are a lot of differing suggestions on what I should do.

Issei for instance. My god. Half of you want me to keep him as male and paired with Asia or Rias, which I have no problem with, and the other half wants Issei to be a girl. That's a little confusing for now, so I'll introduce Issei in the next chapter. And to the reviewer who thinks I'm taking Issei's power, I'm really not. It would be pretty redundant to take the Boosted Gear and give it to my OC protagonist when he's got his own little toy.

Another reviewer asked if I was gonna implement elements of the Nasuverse. Honestly, I'm considering it but… it's a lot of stuff. I can give it a try but I might lose track so I'll try and use a few known terms that most of us know.

Now for the disclaimer: I do not own, except my OCs, the Fate series, High School DxD, or any material related. All rights go to their respective owners.

Now let's get this party started… BEGIN!

Chapter 1: A Supernatural Hunter

[London, England]

In the great city centered in the European Nation, night had rolled through and a thick fog covered the streets, shrouding it in a sinister atmosphere.

And none felt more afraid then the wandering figure of a young woman who was on her way home from work. It had been happening for weeks, mysterious disappearances of young women at night only for their bodies to be found hours later, completely drained of blood. Many believed it to be a serial killer with a fascination for vampires while a select few believed it to be a Second Coming of Jack the Ripper.

Honestly, the young woman thought it was a psychopath with a fascination for killing people. It was creepy and disturbing at the same time. Hopefully, she could get back to her apartment and sleep the night away to calm her worries.

"Pardon me, madam." A suave masculine voice that was smooth like velvet silk reached her ears. The woman turned around to the owner and gasped lightly in surprise at what she believed to be the most beautiful man she had ever seen in her life.

Golden locks of hair that shimmered like the morning sun, eyes red like sparkling rubies, skin pale yet fair as if untouched by time, and a face carved by God himself. Dressed in a fancy white Victorian suit, the mysterious man gave the woman a bow.

"I beg your pardon but you see, I was out for a midnight stroll and I could not help in partaking your bewitching beauty."

The young woman's cheeks flushed pink, despite something in the back of her head telling her that the man sounded like an old timer, she didn't care about his speech. Rather, she focused her attention on this stranger's beauty.

"Oh, uh… that's nice of you, sir." She answered shyly.

"Please, no need to be nervous. I only speak the truth." The bewitching man said. "Now, what is a lovely young lady such as yourself doing out on your lonesome?"

"I was… on my way home from work." She answered.

"I see. Well, far be it from me to let a woman wander home by herself. Allow me to escort you. After all, you never know what sort of unsavory characters are roaming about." The man offered.

The young woman's cheeks burned. "I wouldn't want to impose-"

"But I insist, my dear. Don't you trust me?" He asked as the woman stared into his… strangely hypnotic eyes.

"Sure… I trust you completely…" She said with her eyes suddenly dulled as if she wasn't really there.

"Good. Now before we go… I hope you don't mind if I partake in a drink." The man suddenly smiled, revealing a set of razor sharp fangs that drew close to the woman's throat.

"Found you." A voice suddenly spoke in a sing-song tone of voice.

The blonde man paused then turned towards the source of the voice. Standing in the thick fog that covered the bridge was a figure wearing what could only be described as a long trench coat.

"Who the hell are you supposed to be?" The man questioned, narrowing his ruby red eyes at the interloper.

"Your death."

The man smirked, "My death? How foolish can you be, human. Leave now and I might consider sparing your life for interrupting my meal."

"Now why would I do that? My job was pretty specific. To hunt down a Dead Apostle that's been roaming around killing young women and it seems I found you… Francis Bloodwine." The figure stated.

"Tch… a mercenary hired to kill me? How utterly ridiculous." The vampire known as Francis Bloodwine scoffed. "Do you truly believe that-"

"I don't believe it. I know." He said, before pulling what appeared to be a Colt pistol. "And I got the silver bullets to prove it. Now I'll ask you to step away from the lady and we can take this somewhere private so we can settle this like civilized gentlemen."

"Silver bullets…?" The Dead Apostle, Francis, stared at the figure in confusion for a moment before his eyes widened. "You're a Hunter!"

"Give the bloodsucker a prize." The Hunter said with a mocking smirk on his hidden face.

"Tch… just my luck…" Francis growled. "No matter though… I'll make this quick and-"

*BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

Before the Apostle could react, four cracks erupted from the barrel of the hunter's weapon and Francis felt unbearable pain erupt in the center of his chest. A spurt of blood erupted as he cried out in agony.

"What was that about making this quick? Sorry, but I'm faster than you might think." The Hunter mocked his prey.

The woman seemed to snap out of her trance before realizing what was happening. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" She screamed, before running for her life.

"Ahhh, wait!" The Dead Apostle tried to reach out to the woman before snarling in anger, "You wretched bastard! You cost me my meal!"

"You should really worry about your life."

"Damn you!" Francis cursed before his eyes glowed menacingly red and it went slit. "You will pay dearly!"

"Oh, cry me a river." The figure rolled his eyes in annoyance. "You're just another Dead Apostle I need to kill at the end of the day."

"Then I'll at least take you down with me if this is to be my end."

"No you won't." He said. "Because you're already dead."

"What?"

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

The last thing that Francis registered were the three silver bullets that entered his skull and destroyed his brain. His darkening sight staring into the eyes of his killer. The eyes that glowed… like crimson embers.

"You're… just like…" The Dead Apostle spoke his last before he fell onto his back, blood pooling from the wounds.

The young man sighed again before turning around to leave. He fished out a cell phone out of his pocket and dialed a number before placing it on his ear. He waited momentarily before someone picked up. "It's me. Mission Complete."

[Clock Tower]

"Nice job as always." The hunter's contractor said. The person in question is a middle-aged woman with brown hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, fair skin, and dressed in a Victorian-style business dress. This is the Vice Director of the Clock Tower and Lord of the Department of Policies. Barthomeloi Lorelei, the current head of the Barthomeloi magus family.

"We gotta stop doing this. I hunt more than just vampires, you know." The Hunter said as he lounged around on an expensive sofa made of red fabric.

"Oh come now, it's all part of the job." Lorelei said, as she poured him a cup of tea. "You take what you're given, and besides, this job pays well, does it not?"

"We both know you only hire me because I can hunt down Dead Apostles and kill them quicker than you can think." He said, accepting the cup of tea and putting it three cubes of sugar.

"Now what makes you think that?" Lorelei giggled. This woman was really testing his patience.

"Cut the crap. I know much about your intense hatred for vampires. It's honestly no surprise. Plus, you're normally serious. I've never once heard you giggle."

Lorelei rolled her eyes, "Even I have my moments. I don't see why that's so surprising… Mr. Aaron."

The hunter, Aaron, narrowed his crimson eyes at the woman, "I seem to remember that the first time we met, you tried to eviscerate me."

"Honest mistake on my part. To be fair, your eyes are very misleading."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Aaron said, rubbing his black hair. "So, when can I expect my payment?"

"Your money should be transferred over to your account. Enjoy the rest of your time in London." Lorelei said as she leaned back into her seat. "You may go now."

Aaron rolled his eyes as he downed the rest of his tea then stood up from the sofa. "See ya some other time, Lorelei. Try not to kill the old vampire that lives in the Clock Tower." He said before making his way to the door.

"I make no promises." He heard her say before he closed the door behind him.

After Aaron left the Clock Tower, he returned to his motel room that he got for cheap. Not because he was poor or that he was a cheapskate but because it was easier to afford and less noticeable from prying eyes. That and it was a lot more suitable for his tastes since luxury stuff just irritated him.

The young man sat on his bed after removing his coat and putting up his guns. He took out his cellphone and checked for any messages he had received since he took the job. So far, nothing had come up.

"Well, guess I've got nothing to do for now." Aaron said to himself as he set his phone down then reached under his bed to pull out a metal case that was sealed by a special lock. The hunter ran a hand along the case's cool surface. "Yes, I know… you're waiting to be released. Be patient, it'll be soon, I know it."

*RING* *RING*

A chime erupted from his cellphone, drawing Aaron from his thoughts as he took hold of the device. "Hm, a new message. But from who?" He opened the message and looked at the sender, "Who the heck is this?"

Greetings, Mr. Aaron Jaeger.

If you're reading this message, I have a little job for you that will reward you handsomely.

Details will be sent to you should you accept the job but the location will be sent to you. The job is in Kuoh, a town in Japan.

I await your response.

Aaron raised a brow, "Kuoh? It's been years since I've been there." He said to himself then decided to respond to the message. "What's the job?" He texted.

In an instant, a message from the sender opened up.

The job is simple. Investigate the appearance of Supernatural creatures and the disappearance of the citizens there. An identity has been constructed for you to infiltrate the leading factor in supernatural activity. It is called Kuoh Academy, a place that has recently become co-ed.

You will be paid with enough money to retire from hunting. The decision is yours.

Aaron could feel a smirk appear on his face, "When do I leave?" He replied back.

As soon as possible.

"Who are you anyways?"

Let's just say… I'm a friend.

The hunter rolled his eyes, "Totally not ominous but whatever. Better start booking flights to Japan." He leaned back onto his bed. "Hopefully, I can still remember my Japanese lessons." He closed his eyes and allowed himself to enter the realm of dreams.

However, had he remained awake a little longer, he would've noticed a slight golden glow erupt from the cracks of the case.

A/N: And that will be the end of this chapter. Small, I know but it was more of an introductory chapter.

Anyways, I'm setting up a poll for either a male Issei or a female Issei. Whichever one has the most votes, that will be the set Issei. If you don't like that decision, tough luck. Voting will end in a week.

Also, before you say anything, the main character is basically a hunter just like in Supernatural. Why? A reviewer suggested it and it's awesome. Plus, it makes sense.

I am also debating if I wanna add another Fate character in this story. One of my favorites, Hakuno Kishinami, maybe add them as a cousin to the Hyoudou family. Yes? No? Maybe?

Anyways, review and comment on this chapter. Like it, hate it, but just know you've read it.

Peace out, everyone!
