"It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Catelyn Tully." The boy took her sister's hand and brought it to his mouth as Catelyn simply responded according to cultural customs.

His eyes never let go of Catelyn as he greeted Lysa who stood beside Catelyn.

"Welcome, Petyr Baelish to Riverrun. We hope you will have a good time here." Lysa greeted him kindly with a curtsy.

The boy looked quite cute and she was sure that he would grow up into someone handsome. He was only a year younger than Lysa. She tried to make him feel as welcome as possible as she knew he was from a family in The Vale and also of lesser standing. Surely he would feel inferior and an outsider. Catelyn immediately took a liking to him and also saw him as her little brother but the problem was that Lysa saw that Petyr looked at her more than he should.

After one of the sewing lessons were over Petyr came to visit them as he was taking some rest from practicing with his sword.

"Petyr!" Catelyn greeted him happily and they began walking to the garden.

At fifteen years old Catelyn Tully was a beauty and it was inevitable that Petyr fell in love with her. Petyr was a careful little boy. And at first Lysa didn't find any faults with Petyr. The boy was smart and he came from a very honorable family. That was the reason why Hoster Tully took him in, in the first place. His father had been a very good man and his services and loyalty was very appreciated. Of course, children weren't their parents.

It seemed to Lysa that Petyr's strength did not lie with swords or physical strength and instead his strength lied in his brain. That was why he kept winning over Lysa in 'Hustle a castle'. But she didn't hate him. In fact, she began admiring him, because such a young boy like him could think of such schemes. She was impressed by him and she thought that if she gave him a few years he might even be able to beat Hoster Tully to 'Hustle a castle' or if he really wanted Petyr might even become a paramount lord. He was that capable at the game and also had the ambition to do it. He was an awful "assassin", however, and was the easiest to 'kill' and tail.

She thought he was an alright kid until he began to become more creepy. She didn't like how touchy he was becoming with Catelyn. Even though he played it out as something innocent Lysa knew that Petyr knew what he was doing.

"It's not fair how much that twat hangs out with Cat. She's my sister!" Edmure complained when Cat decided to play with Petyr instead of Edmure.

Finding Petyr's actions very disturbing she decided to spy on him. She followed him for several days. One day while following him and Catelyn she saw them on a bridge. The scene was actually quite romantic if it hadn't been for Petyr. The flowers, the light, greenery and the sound of birds. She his behind a pillar big enough to hide her. She heard him make jokes to lighten up the mood even more and make Catelyn comfortable before complimenting her skills on sewing and then he went and asked about Catelyn's engagement. Catelyn told him that Brandon seemed like a pleasant person from the letters he sent her. During the conversation between them Petyr got closer and closer to Catelyn. She saw Catelyn blush and then Petyr suggested that Catelyn practices kissing with him so that she can please Brandon. She immediately rejected the idea but he mentioned that if she practices now Catelyn wouldn't lose Brandon to a whore. He then went on to explain Brandon's personality and how he was known for being a wild wolf among the whores in The North.

"You're lying. Brandon wouldn't do that." She heard the shaking in Catelyn's voice.

"And yet everyone knows that Brandon has a lover named Barbrey Ryswell." Lysa could see Cat's face grow darker. "Your father knows, your sister knows, your brother knows. Did they not tell you?"

Lysa began to see what he was doing and what his game was.

"Cat, you can trust me. I would never lie to you." He put his hands against her face.

"Petyr, please stop. I don't want to hear anymore." She didn't move or tried to struggle.

"Brandon Stark doesn't deserve you, Cat. He is not worthy of you. You deserve so much more. You deserve a man that loves you."

"Love is not necessary when it comes to marriage, Petyr. As long as I have children, family, I will be happy and content." Cat brought her hands to Petyr's hands and softly removed them. "I don't want to hear about any of this anymore." Lysa watched Cat walk away while Petyr remained standing still.

When he heard her footsteps he turned around.

"Lysa." She smiled.

"I'm glad you remembered my name Petyr. With the amount of time you spend with Cat I thought you might have forgotten my name." She stopped as she stood a meter away from him. "I'm surprised that you haven't confessed your love to my sister yet. Why? Are you afraid she will reject you perhaps?"

"It is none of your business, Lysa."

"It is Lady Lysa Tully to you, Petyr. You lost the privilege of calling my first name when you are tarnishing my sister's reputation. Remember your position and don't dream of something you cannot have." She stepped closer to him. "I'll warn you this and only this time Baelish. Stay away from Cat."

"Or what, Lady Lysa?" Lysa continued to smile even brighter as she put her hand on his neck before bringing it to his shoulder.

"You should be very careful of the amount of chaos you'll create Baelish. Or you might just find yourself falling into a pit of hell." She brushed away a leaf on his shoulder before letting her hand fall against her hip.

"Chaos isn't a pit of hell." Petyr snorted and smirked. "Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The Fall breaks them and some are given a chance to climb. But they refuse. They cling to the realm of the gods or love or illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.'" Lysa raised an eyebrow and made a mental note of remembering what he said. His explanation sounded disturbingly very similar to something her father would say. Then again Petyr did learn quite a lot from Hoster during his stay in Riverrun.

"Then you should be careful of falling, dear Baelish. Your pretty face... it would just be such a waste." She brought a hand to his cheek and stroked it almost lovingly. "Be careful of your ambitions, Baelish." She continued to smile before suddenly stopping. "And stay away from Catelyn. Now, go away and have a continuous good day." She waved him away with a smile and the boy walked away from her.

"You can come out now. I know you're there." Lysa told the little bugger who was hiding in a hidden passageway.

"How did you know?" She recognized the voice.

"Oh, my dear little brother. A woman never tells her secrets." She held a finger to her lips.

Edmure begged her to tell her and she just laughed as she ran away from her little brother who continued to pest her.

Although she was all smiles right now she never knew how long it would last. She would need to be more careful now in her own home as Petyr was the sort of person who would most likely not hesitate to kill her if she became a liability to his plans. He of course was the type of person who was smart enough to get away with the crime. Then again both she and Cinderella were people who would go to great lengths for their family.

She only hoped that Jesus Christ wouldn't hate her when that day came.
