'I want to fix the engine on Kakarotto's tractor for a Valentine's Day gift.' Vegan whispered to Eighteen as they prepared dinner.

'Do you know how to fix an engine?'

'I can pay to have it fixed, I... I want to sell my jewels.'

'Are you sure?

'Yes, I think it's time I let go.'

'Maybe you could just give them back to Bloomer; I mean, isn't the East District all about helping their neighbors?'

'Even neighbors have to eat.'

'Don't sell all of them, maybe two of the cheap ones. What is the least amount of money Bloomer has ever spent on jewelry for you?'

'A ten million yen.'

'Fuck.'

'I suppose I could sell it for ten thousand yen; that sounds reasonable, right?'

'I suppose.'

'Will you help me?'

'Yes, I will help you.'

Vegan looked over at Kakarotto. 'I think it's time.'

'Time for what?

'That Kakarotto and I have...sex.'

Eighteen dropped a glass, and the sound of its shattering caused everyone to rush into the Kitchen.

'Is everything alright?' asked Krillen.

'Yes.' Vegan said, glaring at the blonde.

'Vegan just told me that she and Goku were staying in on Valentine's Day, that's all.'

'Oh.' Gohan looked between the two sayains. 'Do you need help cleaning the glass?'

'No.' Vegan shook her head. 'Eighteen, and I have this.'

'Are you sure?' asked Kakarotto.

'Yes.'

Gohan watched his father and Vegan giving each other coy looks all night.

He wanted his parents to get back together, but admittedly it was nice to see him so happy.

'Videl and I are going to a restaurant in the city.' Gohan said, watching his father. 'There's a new restaurant she wants to try. What are you doing?'

'We're going to dinner and a movie,' Eighteen said, 'there's a movie coming, and I've been dying to see it.'

'What about you?' Gohan turned to his father. 'What are you doing?'

'Well,' Goku glanced at Vegan as she looked at Goten, 'I thought I would stay here.'

'Mom is going out with Yamcha.' Goten said.

'Why doesn't Bloomer take her out?' asked Vegan.

'I guess Bloomer is sad about the doctor's stroke.'

'Stroke?! What stroke?!'

'Dr. Briefs had a stroke about two weeks after you left.' Gohan said.

'WHAT?!'

'You didn't know?!' Gohan looked at Eighteen.

'Bloomer told me it was only minor-'

'You knew?!'

'I gave her a senzu-'

'Kakarotto!'

'Vegan-'
