Now that the girls are saved, reunited with Hector, and now having all the points that are needed; Ichika and his friends are heading for the stadium that the finals of Conner's tournament is being held. All of them together again and can't wait for the finals.
"The stadium should be just down the road." Ichika said.
"I can't wait to see all of you in action." Charlotte said. "Ichika, Houki, and Hector in the finals? That is sure to make a great match."
"You can say that again. This is going to be epic." Rin said as all of them were looking forward to this. "No doubt Conner is going to be in it, but I wonder who else is going to be."
"Well, no doubt that Meldrick is going to be there. He said so himself." Houki said. That was one competitor that had them all cautious. "We better be on guard around him. No telling what sneaky tricks that creep will try, especially what he tried to do back at the harbor."
"You're right about that, Houki. Meldrick will also have a powerful and dangerous card on him. He'll do anything to win." Ichika claimed.
"Big whoop." Hector said as he seemed to be the only one that wasn't cautious or concerned about Meldrick at all. "So the guy has a little skill and some tricks to him. That doesn't really mean he's going to win. Maybe you guys are just making him sound worse than he really is."
"You only say that because you never faced him yourself. You saw what he did just to try and beat Ichika." Houki reminded. "This is not someone you want to take lightly."
"Sheesh, Houki. You're always so serious." Hector teased. "I bet that's why you never really had a boyfriend."
"Excuse me?!" Houki said as she felt a bit offended by that. "For your information, I could get any guy I want! It's just... It's just that some guys are jerks and idiots like you!"
"Don't freak out on me because you're scared. If you want to skip the finals because you're scare of this guy, no one is going to blame you. It's not like you ever stood a chance of winning in the first place, at least not against me."
"I'm not scared! That's exactly what I'm talking about, you jerk!" Houki shouted. "Do I need to remind you that I did beat you before?! I will gladly do it again!" The two of them bantered like that, but it was rather amusing. As the two of them argued, Charlotte couldn't stop smiling at them.
"Charlotte? What are you smiling about?" Cecilia asked.
"It's just... Don't you think Houki looks rather great with Hector?" Charlotte said and that got Cecilia thinking. "They almost look like an adorable couple. I just can't shake this vibe that those two have."
"Houki and Hector?" Cecilia questioned. She thought it over and was beginning to think the same as her. "You're right! Plus, if Houki is interested in Hector, that means less love rival to worry about!" That actually sounded great to them.
"You are impossible, Hector!" Houki said.
"And you're hard to figure out. It's like you switch back and forth between hot and cold." Hector teased. As the two of them kept arguing like that, they had to put it on hold. They all saw the lights of a car coming down their way. It nearly crashed into them with Hector acting quickly with him looking like he was protecting Houki. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" He called, but Houki noticed what he was doing.
"How about you watch what you're doing!" Houki said as she pushed him away feeling a bit uncomfortable having him that close. All of them wondered what was going on. The driver of the car stepped out and it ended up being a beautiful young woman wearing heels and a red dress with her having wavy sandy brown hair and wore gold bracelets on both wrists.
"Looks like I finally found you." The woman said.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Laura said.
"Yeah! You nearly ran us over!" Rin shouted. "Did you not see us or are you one of those dumb people with pretty faces?!"
"Hold on." Hector said as he got a good look at her. "Do I know you? You seem rather familiar."
"Of course you know me." The woman said. "Do you really not remember me? That's rather rude."
"How could you forget someone like her?" Ichika questioned. Something that got him an angry glare from the other girls.
"It's me, Hector. I'm Amy Fortuna." She introduced herself. When she said her name, something inside Hector clicked.
"No way... You're Amy Fortuna?" Hector questioned and he didn't seem to like it. "You've got to be kidding me. What are you doing here?"
"Why else? I came here for you." Amy said. "Is it wrong for me to get my fiancé and plan our wedding?"
"You're what?!" Houki said as all of them were quite shocked and surprised to hear that Hector might be engaged. "You're engaged?! Aren't you only like sixteen?! What the heck is she talking about?!"
"It's quite simple. The girl is nuts." Hector said. "I never proposed or made any agreement to marry you. You've lost it. I can see that you haven't really changed. You're still the same spoiled brat who thinks she can get whatever she wants."
"Uh... Hector, do you mind filling the rest of us in on what's going on here?" Rin asked.
"Sure. That girl is Amy Fortuna." Hector claimed. "She and I went to school together. She was considered the richest girl at school because her father was the CEO of some big company. Don't let the pretty face fool you. Amy here is actually a spoiled brat who thought she can get whatever she wants. She was the type of girl that some morons swooned over, did whatever she said even though she gave them no respect."
"Almost everyone." Amy said. "I remember that you were the only one that wasn't taken so easily by me." She was right. She remembered when they were kids, Amy had the whole student body in the palm of her hand, but Hector completely ignored her. "I found it all quite perplexing. Hector was the first person that never did what I said or gave me what I wanted."
"I'll admit you were pretty, but you were obnoxious and annoying." Hector said.
"Sounds like someone else I know when we first met." Houki said with her insulting Hector, but Hector tried ignoring his annoyance.
"It was weird. I always got what I wanted, but I found that quite interesting." Amy said. "It was like...the more I couldn't have something, the more I wanted it. Before I knew it, I found myself quite attracted to you."
"Yeah... I remember you actually tried to convince me to go out with you, but I turned you down." Hector said. "I'm not interested in people who are so obnoxious. That's what you were. You even claimed some crazy ideas that you already wanted to marry me. You are nuts. So why are you here?"
"That's simple. I'm here to fulfill our deal." Amy said.
"What deal?" Hector questioned.
"Don't you remember? I remember that you loved to duel, and we did dueled. You agreed to be my boyfriend, but you beat me pretty good." Amy said. "Don't you remember what you said after that?"
"You ever beat me in a duel and I'll do whatever you want."
"Well, I think the time has come to fulfill that deal." Amy said. "You and I duel. If I win, you're mine, baby."
"This girl is nuts." Rin said.
"What an absurd way to ask for someone's hand in marriage." Cecilia said as they were all bothered by this.
"Hector, forget her. Let's just go." Houki said.
"I wish it was that easy, but it's not." Hector said. "This girl doesn't give up that easily. The only way out is to beat her and actually get her to shut up." Hector hated the idea, but it seems like there's not much else he can do. "Fine, Amy. Let's duel, but you get lost if I do win."
"Oh, I won't be going anywhere except down the isle." Amy said as she took her deck and placed it in her duel disk. "You see, wealth has it's privileges. I got myself quite a deck, and I think it fits me quite well." Hector just ignored her and went on with it as he got himself ready.
"Let's duel!" They both said with the duel to decide their future together or apart about to begin.
"I'll start this duel. I'll begin by summoning Fortune Lady Light to the field!" Amy began the duel by summoning out a yellow lady with a wooden staff and bat wings coming out of her head. "The Fortune deck really suits me. Not only because of my wealth, but I can be quite fortunate."
"You've got to be kidding me." Hector said as he was already getting annoyed with her.
"Anyway, Light's attack points are 200 for each level. Right now, she's a level one. That means she only has 200atk points." Amy said as her monster's attack points rose to 200. "Next, I activate Dimensionhole! This spell card removes one of my monsters from play until my next standby phase, and I only have one monster." A rift opened up and her only monster was sucked up into it.
"Why would you do that?" Hector questioned.
"It activates Light's ability. Now I can summon any Fortune Lady from my deck, and I know just the one: Fortune Lady Earth!" Amy said as she summoned out a new Fortune Lady. "And her attack points matches her level times 400, and she's level six." That meant Earth's attack points rose all the way to 2400. Having a powerful monster like that on her first turn shows that she's serious and has some skill. "I place one card facedown to end my turn."
"Not bad, but let's see if it will really help!" Hector said as he drew his next card. "I summon Beast-Warrior Panthura Panther to the field!" He started his turned by summoning his humanoid panther in armor as it jumped out with 1900atk points. "Next, I play my Beast-Warrior Halberd! A Beast-Warrior equipped with this card gains an additional 800atk points!" His panther was given a halberd as a weapon and it's power rose to 2700. "Attack now!" His panther jumped in the air and was getting ready for the attack.
"I play my trap! Interdimensional Matter Transporter!" Amy said as she activated her trap. "This card takes one of my monsters and banishes it until the end of the turn!" She explained with her monster disappearing.
"Hold on! That leaves her wide open!" Houki said. Pantura came down and slashed against her with her life points dropping all the way to 1300.
"Why would she do that?" Charlotte questioned.
"She must have something planned to take a big hit like that." Ichika said.
"I'll just place two face-downs and end my turn." Hector said as she set two cards.
"Now Lady Earth comes back." Amy said with her monster returning. "My turn!" She drew her next card. "Look at that. I drew Earth's adorable counterpart: Fortune Fairy Chee. When I draw this card, I can instantly summon it!" She summoned out a fairy version of her other monster, but it had 0atk points. "Since I did that, I can draw one card." She drew her next card and liked what she had. "Next, Lady Light comes back." Light came back on the field. "There's more. My Fortune Lady's level increases by one during my standby phase, and the higher their levels, the more power they get." Her two ladies levels went up and that increased their powers to 400 and 2800. "There's more. Since Earth's level increased, you lose 400LP."
"I what?!" Hector said as he didn't like it. Earth caused a series of spikes to shoot out and smash against Hector with his life points dropping to 3600.
"Next, I activate Miracle Stone!" Amy said. "Since I have a Fortune Fairy on the field, all my spellcasters gain 500atk points." Her monsters grew even stronger with them now having 500, 900, and 3300atk points.
"Oh man! She just keeps increasing her monster's power!" Rin said as none of them liked this.
"Next, I summon Fortune Lady Wind to the field!" Amy said as she summoned another Fortune Lady. "She's a level three, but she only gains 300atk points per level, but Miracle Stone gives her more power." She claimed as Wind's attack points became 900 and it increased to 1400. "However, Wind can destroy one spell or trap card on your field for each Fortune Lady I have! I bet you two face-downs are meant to stop me, right? Well, that won't happen."
"In that case, I activate Reinforcements before you destroy it!" Hector said. "This will give Panthura an extra 500atk points, so at least any damage you throw will be weakened!" Panthura's attack points rose to 3200 to cut some damage. After that, both of Hector's cards cards were destroyed.
"I think that means I'm clear to attack!" Amy said. "Fortune Lady Earth, take that kitten!" Earth unleashed a series of spikes again with them smashing against Panthura with Hector's life points dropping to 3500. "With that done, my other monsters can attack you directly!" All three of her monsters attacked Hector and caused his life points to drop down to 1900. "Miracle Stone also allows me to draw a card since my little fairy attacked. I'll set a card and end my turn." 'I almost have him. I know he's planning an attack, but my Wabaku trap will prevent that. I have this won and won a husband.'
"Hector's in a real jam here." Rin said.
"Isn't there something he can do?" Cecilia questioned.
"Those Fortune Lady's will grow stronger each turn. Earth is the most troublesome, but he's also got to get rid of that Miracle Stone or that little fairy." Houki said. "Hector, you better have something planned. You can't lose to that...floosy."
"Floosy? Really?" Hector said as he couldn't believe Houki said that. "Luckily, I do have something planned. It's my turn!" He drew his next card and started his plan. "First, I'm activating Skill Break trap!"
"Huh?" Amy questioned as a trap activated from Hector's graveyard.
"I can activate this trap by removing it from play in my graveyard. Thanks for destroying it, Amy." Hector claimed. "Now, I can destroy all your spell and trap cards!" Both of Amy's cards were destroyed. "Without Miracle Stone, all your monsters lose power!" With Miracle Stone gone, the attack points of all the monsters dropped to 2800, 900, 400, and just zero. "You have some skill, Amy. It just wasn't enough to beat me. I summon out Beast-Warrior Eagrith Eagle to the field!" Hector summoned out Eagrith as it flew out with all its 1300atk points. "With your Miracle Stone gone, your little fairy has no attack points. If Eagrith attacks now, you'll lose 1300LP, which is all you have left."
"What?! Hold on!" Amy said.
"Sorry, but there's no wedding. Eagrith, attack!" Hector said. Eagrith flew right at her monster and slashed its weapon against her. Chee was destroyed and Amy lost all of her remaining life points.
"No... No way..." Amy said as she dropped to her knees. "This... This is unfair!" She cried like a baby.
"Good grief, you're annoying." Hector said as he was getting irritated. "You lost and now you cry? Take it like a grown-up."
"But... But I don't understand. Why wouldn't you want to marry me?" Amy questioned.
"One, we're too young for that. Two, you're annoying, obnoxious, spoiled, and a lot of other things. You've got to learn you can't always get what you want." Hector said.
"But that's what made me attracted to you." Amy said.
"That's the third thing. You only want me because you can't have me, and you never will." Hector said.
"This is not fair! I'm getting my daddy!" Amy cried as she jumped back in her car and just sped off. Ichika and the girls were quite astonished over the whole thing.
"That girl is a handful." Ichika said.
"Yeah. I feel sorry for any guy she does go out with." Hector said, but he was just glad she was gone.
"Well, I say good riddance." Houki said as she was glad she was gone as well. "I can't picture you being with the likes of her."
"Really? Houki, you wouldn't happen to be jealous by any chance, are you?" Hector teased with Houki getting annoyed even moe with him.
"Forget it! Let's just get to the stadium so you can see me win it!" Houki shouted.
"You mean me." Hector said. Well, now that they have that little distraction out of the way, they can now move on. Next stop is the finals.
