Here Comes The Sun

Chapter 21

AN: So here's the next chapter. See it didn't take that long. And because you guys were such good sports I added something. ;) wink wink. You guys who are also reading my other story, don't be jealous, there time will come… eventually. BTW. Glossary is in the AN at the bottom! Sorry for any and all mistakes. I read over this a couple of times and caught some and corrected them but probably not alllll. Anyway, enjoy!

Elsa and Kai walked quickly and silently into the blonde's study. Kai swiftly closed the door behind himself, locking it, and took a seat across from his queen. Elsa sat in her chair, patiently waiting for Kai to gather his wits. Kai took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. He gradually pulled a folded piece of paper out of his jacket's pocket. Finally, he opened his mouth to speak in an almost hushed whisper.

"Your majesty, you were right to come to me about that ring on Edmond's finger. I thought it sounded familiar and I looked into some of the… magical… records your father kept." He paused as he clumsily unfolded and laid the paper out on Elsa's desk. The ice queen curiously leaned forward and inspected the ancient paper. Kai continued to speak.

"It's the Den Mørke. A powerful ring that can be wielded by both good forces and evil." Kai stated. Elsa looked up at him fearfully. "And it is not hard to guess what Edmond's intentions would be. How did he come across such a ring?" Elsa asked, gently picking up the paper in front of her. Kai shook his head. "That I do not know your majesty. I have not been able to find any records of a Sir Edmond of Arendelle or England, yet something about him seems frightfully familiar. But, if you read the text, it says the ring can only be fully controlled by those who possess magical powers." Kai explained. Elsa looked bewildered. "So are you saying Edmond has magical abilities?" she asked, both eyebrows raised. Kai shook his head doubtfully. "No your majesty, I don't think so. You see, if he has magical abilities then they are very limited. The ring has the power to control, manipulate, destroy, and rebuild. If he holds the ring and has magical abilities, then why go through all of this? Why would he not just take Arendelle by force? There is obviously something he needs from us, from you your majesty." Kai finished. Elsa nodded her head at Kai's words. He was right. Edmond wields a great power but is not able to use it. So what was he doing here? What did he need from Arendelle? The blonde continued to stare at the paper in front of her, eyes roaming the carefully written words. Her finger began to trace the outline of the detailed ring drawn largely in the middle. The longer she stared at the image the more engrossed she became with it. She began to hear faint whispers as she continued to study the paper. She was captivated. Kai looked on with worry as he saw his queen fall silent and blankly stare at the paper.

"Your majesty?" he called out unsurely. Elsa didn't hear him. The whispers she heard became louder and she could almost make out what they were saying. "Your majesty?" Kai tried again, louder this time. Elsa still ignored him as the image of the ring seemed to glow a dim red on the paper. The whispers got louder and Elsa thought she heard one of the voices whisper her name along with a foreign language she couldn't understand. 'Elsa. På denne måten. Se. Se nøye. Elsa. Ta det. Ta det. Dette bør bli din. Den er din. Elsa. Den er din. Det tilhører deg. Det er din rett.

Det tilhører deg. Elsa. Ta det. Elsa. Elsa!'

"ELSA!" Kai finally yelled startling Elsa out of her trance. Elsa looked at Kai in confusion then at the paper. She quickly sat it down and shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts.

"Are you alright your majesty?" Kai asked in concern. Elsa looked back at him and nodded her head. "Y-yes. Why do you ask?" she responded. Kai frowned a bit, his wrinkles made more pronounced as he gestured to the giant window behind the queen's desk. "Because your majesty, it's snowing." Kai informed her. Elsa looked startled. Snowing? Turning around in her seat, she stared out the window with wide eyes. Surely enough, there was a raging snowstorm just over the castle. Elsa tried not to panic as she closed her eyes and concentrated on reining the storm in. She heard a sigh of relief from Kai and opened her eyes again to see the clear skies. She too breathed out in relief as she turned back towards Kai and spoke.

"Kai, I- we need to get that ring."

"Faster Sven!" Anna yelled as she sat sandwiched between Kristoff and Rapunzel in one of the castle's unmarked carriages. Kristoff rolled his eyes and huffed. "What did I tell you about giving Sven orders? Only I can give Sven orders. Faster Sven!" Kristoff grumbled out as Anna and Rapunzel shared an exasperated look. "This is so exciting! I've never seen talking rocks before!" Rapunzel gushed as she ogled her surroundings. Arendelle really was a beautiful place. "They're trolls. Never call them talking rocks. They'll roll over your foot if you do. Trust me." Kristoff informed the blonde as they neared the valley. Kristoff gently pulled Sven's reigns and the reindeer came to a halt right outside the circle of mossy rocks. "Here you go boy." He said to the reindeer, feeding him a giant carrot. Sven happily ate it while the three friends headed towards the 'rocks.'

"Hey you guys, I'm back! And I brought guest!" Kristoff called out. Anna and Rapunzel watched in anticipation as the 'rocks' began to shake and roll. Finally the trolls unraveled themselves from their ball and they all stared up at Kristoff with happy smiles. "Kristoff's back!" One of the female trolls called out. Soon the rest of the trolls gathered around Kristoff asking him a million question. "Guys, guys! I'm here to see Grand Pabi. I brought Anna and her cousin Rapunzel with me." He explained to the bunch. They all starred at him blankly then turned to look at the two princess. They instantly swarmed the two and began poking and prodding. "Oh look, it's Anna! And she brought a little friend!" "Maybe Kristoff can reel in this one!" "They both have blonde hair, it's a match made in heaven!" The trolls continued to make plans for Kristoff and Rapunzel's marriage. The blonde princess blushed and Kristoff just smacked a hand over his face. "Not again…" he muttered to himself. "Guys! Rapunzel's just a friend. Besides, she's already happily married." He explained. The trolls faces fell and they all grumbled in disappointment. "He's never going to get a girlfriend." One of the younger trolls muttered. Just when Kristoff was about to open his mouth to protest, the ground began to rumble a bit and a large mossy rock stopped right in front of him. Grand Pabi popped out of his ball and stared up at Kristoff.

"Kristoff, son, is everything alright?" The ancient troll asked in concern. Kristoff kneeled down to talk with him eye level. "Yes and no. No immediate danger, but we do need your help…" The blonde pointed his finger in the direction of Anna and Rapunzel. Both girls waved nervously. "So here's the thing…" Kristoff began to explain.

"Oh my. This I did not foresee. So your sister is your true love?" Grand Pabi asked, looking up at Anna for confirmation. The redhead nodded her head and the old troll hmm'd in thought. "Of course I shall help you your highness." He stated after a moment of contemplation. Anna let out a cheer and rushed to hug the troll. Grand Pabi chuckled at the girl's excitement. "Come with me, I shall conjure up everything you will need." Grand Pabi gestured for the three humans to follow him into his cave. When they stepped through the opening Anna and Rapunzel couldn't help but let out gasps of amazement and wonder. There were hundreds of shelves adored with many different potions, scrolls and books. Anna stopped in front of a glowing green potion and looked at the label. She furrowed her eyebrows as she tried to decipher what it said. "It's written in old Trollish. That one is a potion to turn humans into frogs." Kristoff said in Anna's ear, startling a yelp out of the redhead. She instantly turned around and swatted the laughing blonde on the arm. "Not funny Kristoff! Don't startle me like that!" she said as she backed away from the potion.

"Enough you two. This way now." Grand Pabi scolded as he ushered them into a back room. "Now, you will need authentic papers and credentials." He began. With a twirl of his hand he conjured up a set of birth certificates and royal lineage documents. "These are Prince Andre's of the Midlands papers. Here you have your father King Dominque and your Mother Queen Cecelia's lineage going back five generations. These here, are Prince Andre's birth form and christening records. Everything else is the standard documentation every royal needs to prove that they are indeed royal. The Midlands is not an actual country so before the ball begins you will need to pour this into the punch." He handed Anna a small vile filled with blue liquid. "This is a persuasion potion. Whomever drinks it will believe anything you say." Anna carefully examined the vile. 'Persuasion potion. Get in everyone's drink. Seems simple enough.' The redhead thought to herself.

"And that is all you will need. I leave the rest to you." He said, packing everything away in a leather satchel and handing it over to Anna. The princess gratefully took it and smiled brightly. "Thank you so much Grand Pabi. This really means a lot." She said sincerely, giving the troll another tight hug. "Anything for you child." He replied, carefully returning the hug. "Now go. You have work to do." He said in false seriousness. Anna laughed and nodded her head, standing up and brushing herself off. "Kristoff, you make sure to take good care of these fine young ladies." He told the blonde who silently watched the exchanged. Kristoff chuckled lowly and saluted. "Will do Grand Pabi." And with that the three friends were on their way back to the castle.

"Rapunzel, you were pretty quiet back there." Anna said as they climb back into the carriage. "Yeah, that's a first." Kristoff chimed in as he coaxed Sven forward. Anna elbowed him and he laughed. They looked over at the still silent blonde and noticed the guilty look on her face. "Um, Punz… What did you do?" Anna asked. The blonde looked down sheepishly then held up a empty bottle. The label was in Trollish and Kristoff squinted his eyes to read it. He groaned when he finally saw what it said. "Did you drink that?" he asked the silent princess. She quickly shook her head no and gestured to the purple stain on her dress. "You spilled it on yourself?" He asked in amusement. The blonde blushed and nodded her head. Kristoff rolled his eyes. Anna looked confused. "What? What did she spill on herself?" The redhead asked. Kristoff looked over at her. "Your cousin here spilled a laryngitis potion on herself. She can't talk. But now that I think about it…maybe that's not such a bad thing…" he said in a contemplating tone. Rapunzel scowled and Anna frowned. "Okay, okay. I'm turning the carriage back around. Grand Pabi should have the reverse potion. I hope."

Anna returned to the castle with a slight pep in her step and a sense of accomplishment. On her way to her room she bumped into Adam who was hanging around the library as usual. "Wow, someone's in a good mood. More so then usual." He spoke to the happy redhead. Anna beamed up at him. "It's a wonderful day. Isn't it a wonderful day? I think it's a wonderful day." She said excitedly. Adam stared at her in bemusement. "I guess today is pretty… wonderful." He responded as they began to walk the halls. "What have you been scheming?" he asked knowingly. Anna feigned offense but failed in concealing her smile. "Let's just say, I won't be losing Elsa to some stupid prince. No offense." She said to the brunette man. "None taken." He replied with a smile. Then he turned serious. "About that though. I was thinking, and of course I would run this by Elsa, but maybe I-" Adam was cut off when Anna put a finger to his mouth. "Don't worry about that now. The ball. Elsa's so called marriage. I've got it all covered." She said, holding up the brown leather satchel. Adam looked confused and tried to speak around Anna's finger. "I know but-" Again Anna cut him off. "Have you seen Elsa? I haven't seen her since she left with Kai yesterday." She asked. Adam sighed. He wasn't going to be able to get his idea out at this rate. He silently pointed towards the library and Anna hugged him tightly. "Great! I'm just gonna drop this off by my room, and then I'll be right back. Tell Elsa not to leave!" Anna shouted. Adam nodded his head. He didn't think he would need to tell the blonde queen not to leave. She had been in there for hours searching through books and reading through different scrolls. When he tried to inquire about what she was doing, the blonde would barley acknowledge his presence. Maybe Anna would have more luck with pulling her out of those old books then he had. With that thought he shook his head and walked down the hall, maybe he could get Rapunzel to go on a walk with him.

"Den Mørke… Den Mørke… why can I not find more information on this?" Elsa said to herself. She desperately searched through the text, trying to find even a stich more information on the ring. That page Kai gave to her had been torn out of a book years ago, and now she searched for said book.

"Elsa?" she heard a voice call out. No. Not a voice. Anna's. "Anna?" she called back. Suddenly the redhead appeared in front of her, smiling from ear to ear. Before Elsa could say another word, the redhead quickly seated herself in the blonde's lap and began to passionately kiss her, catching the queen off guard. Anna gently ran her tongue along the bottom of Elsa's lip. The blonde moaned lowly, lips parting, and Anna quickly took the opportunity to deepen the kiss. Air soon became an annoying issue and the two reluctantly parted. Elsa stared up at Anna in confusion and desire. Both women were breathing heavily from the kiss.

"Wow, what was that for?" Elsa finally asked. Anna smirked at the queen and leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Because I'm happy and I felt like it." She said, nipping the blonde's earlobe before pulling away. Elsa's face burned red as she felt a familiar stirring in her loins. "You're very confident today." Elsa said, wrapping her arms around Anna's waist. "I know." Anna responded, wrapping her own arms around Elsa's neck and bringing them closer. "It's because I have you all to myself." She said, bringing their mouths together for another searing kiss. The redhead then broke the kiss and began peppering the ice queen's skin with feather light kisses. "Anna… What if someone sees us…?" Elsa tried to halfheartedly protest as Anna began to reach under the blonde's dress. "Relax Elsa, no one ever comes in here but you and Adam, and I sent him away." She whispered. Elsa was about to protest again, but stopped when she felt the redhead's fingers pass over her covered center. She gasped and Anna smirked into Elsa's skin. "You were saying?" she said as she continued to nip the soft flesh of Elsa's neck. Elsa didn't respond. She remained silent as her eyes slammed shut at the feeling of Anna's fingers swirling in small circles over her center.

"Tell me Elsa…" the redhead began, staring down at the flushed queen. "…do you love me?" Elsa's eyes opened and she looked up at her sister. "Of course I do…" she said and had to bite down hard on her bottom lip to stop herself from moaning loudly when Anna moved aside her ice blue underwear and dipped a finger inside Elsa's core. The blonde wondered what had gotten into her sister. Anna was feeling way too confident. She felt like her future with Elsa was secure and she wanted to claim the blonde as hers right here and now. "Then say it." Anna said, slowly moving her finger in and out of the blonde's now dripping center. Elsa was trembling in her seat as she tried to concentrate on what the redhead was saying. The girl wasn't making it very easy, especially when she added a second finger into the mix. "Wh- what?" Elsa stuttered out. Anna picked up the pace and this time Elsa couldn't hold back her moan. "Tell me that you love me." Anna slowly repeated. Elsa swallowed hard around the lump in her throat and tried to speak. "I- I lo-love you Anna." She finally got out. The words were quickly punctuated by a loud groan of pleasure as Anna's fingers curled inside her. Elsa was pretty sure she was going to explode any moment now. Anna smiled brightly and leaned down to whisper in Elsa's ear once more. "Mine." She said as her thumb began to press down the blonde's clitoris. That was it for her. A few more pumps had Elsa loudly moaning Anna's name as she came, juices coating the redhead's hand. Elsa slumped back in her chair, exhausted. She looked up and almost came again at the sight of Anna licking the blonde's juices off her fingers, taking each one of the digits in her mouth and slowly sucking them. Anna then wrapped her arms back around Elsa's neck as she laid her head on the queen's shoulder.

"I love you too you know." she said softly, her demeanor drastically different from how it was only mere seconds ago. Elsa looked at the girl and smiled, bringing her closer as she planted a gentle kiss on her lips. "I don't know what all that was about, but rest assured, I am yours. Always and forever snowflake." Elsa reassured. The blonde ice queen then smiled wickedly as she placed another kiss on the redhead's lips. "But now it's my turn to prove that you are mine." Elsa said and Anna giggled, squealing in delight when the blonde lifted her onto the table, books completely forgotten about.

AN: You guys seriously didn't see that coming right? I know. You're welcome. It kinda felt slightly OOC for Anna, but that was the point, she was so happy and proud of herself for making her own move against the council and she wanted to mark Elsa as hers and hers alone. So yeah, I'm trying to practice writing those kinds of scenes. Am I improving or was this a hit and a miss? Drop me a line in a review or PM and tell me what you think and how I can improve. Thanks for reading this chapter! See you in Chapter 22!
