Final Episode: Flightless Finale
(Instead of seeing clips from the previous episode, Ludwig is right there along with Lakitu.)
Ludwig: Welcome everyone. This is the season finale of The Incredible Crossover Race 2! Normally, this would be the part with a recap and everything, but not today. This season had twenty different teams competing around the world and different universes for a million dollar cash prize. The Prankster Twins, Bone Baddies, Puyo Girls, Koopa Kids, Kongs, Dark Figures, Dash Twins, Dragon Questers, Fairies, Crusaders, Hyrule Heroes, Pie Sisters, Evolution Foxes, Brains and Enthusiast, Chaotic Couple, Gender Benders, Speedster Friends, and Changelings have all been eliminated and now we're down to the final two teams. The Lovebirds AKA Flight Friends faced lots of difficulties in the beginning, made allies with their friends the Changelings, and had plenty of close calls almost coming in last During the mall challenge, they confessed their feelings for each other and didn't know they felt the same way all along. Now they're officially dating and in love, but will it be enough to win? The Pilots, they've been on their a game this whole season. They've stayed in the top half and became quite the team to beat. Especially with Fox falling in love with Braixen who had a crush on him since the very beginning. Who knows? They did promise to go on a date when this race is over. Not to mention what he plans on doing with the ring he got on Episode 21 Will these pilots keep their focus and win?. One of these two teams here will walk away with the million dollar prize. Who will it be? Well there's only one way to find out. You all are now watching the season finale and the final episode of... The Incredible Crossover Race!
Lakitu: 2! And no need to tell me cause I already know. (Gives him a five dollar bill.)
Ludwig: Pleasure doing business with you.
(Magic was blasted into the air starting up the intro.)
(Intro over)
Final Episode: Flightless Finale
(We go back to the Netherlands with Ludwig and Lakitu are.)
Ludwig: We're back in the Netherlands after our little trip to the Electrodrome. Right now our two final teams just got their travel tips, boarded the plane and are making their way to the final destination: Hawaii.
(A postcard of Hawaii is shown.)
Ludwig: Home to white sandy beaches, ukuleles, and a few volcanoes. Hawaii is the only state located within the tropics and happens to be the only archipelago state whatever that means. When the plane lands, they'll locate the cloudbox outside. (Switch scenes with the plane up in the air on its way to Hawaii.) The final two teams are onboard the same flight to Hawaii. It's anybody's game!
(Cut to the interior of the plane with the final two teams enjoying themselves in first class.)
Silverstream: This is the life. (Has a face mask on and cucumbers on her eyes.) I hope this never ends.
Falco: One of the perks of being in the finale.
(A waitress comes by offering them some cookies.)
Falco: More freshly baked cookies? Yes please! (Takes at least three.)
Fox: This is it! It's almost the end. Everything will be over soon. (Looks down at his ring.)
Gallus: Hey buddy!
Fox: Oh hey, what do you want?
Gallus: I just came over to see how you are and to wish you and your partner luck.
Fox: Thank you! May the best team win!
Gallus: Also one more thing, we don't want you both to hold back in the finale
Fox: Gallus, I'm not-
Gallus: Look, I know you and your partner are a pretty good team but I want you to know that Silverstream and I are going to give it our very best. So I expect you and your partner to do the same. What do you say?
Fox: Good luck both of you and to tell you the truth, that was my original plan anyway.
Silverstream: I don't know how this could get any better.
(A waitress comes by and had four pieces of cake. One on each plate.)
Falco: Just got better! Free cake!
Gallus: You can say that again! (Gets his piece and eats it.)
(After a nice long flight, the plane has arrived in Hawaii.)
Ludwig VO: The finalists have arrived at their final destination. It really is anybody's game.
(As customary in Hawaii, the teams are greeted by two Hawaiian females that put some floral wreaths on them and they accept.)
Fox: Alright, this is pretty cool.
Gallus: The real competition starts now! You ready for the final showdown?
Falco: Break a leg you guys. (Shakes his hand.)
Silverstream: Now let's all have fun till the very end!
(The two teams race to the end of the dock right by the beach and find the first cloudbox waiting there and got their tips.)
Fox: It's an all alone challenge: The search for missing rings.
(We cut to Ludwig underwater with scuba gear.)
Ludwig: For this first Hawaiian challenge, whoever didn't attempt the labyrinth in Amsterdam, must search the bottom of this bay for two lost wedding rings. Once they find a ring, swim to shore to meet your partner and then collect your next tip from the next cloudbox.
Silverstream: Aww, I would be perfect for this round, but I can't transform.
Falco: Well, at least you're facing me! Which is not something better but good luck. (Jumps into the water.)
Gallus: It's ok. Even if you can't turn into a seapony, I know you can still do this! I believe in you.
Silverstream: You're right! I can do this! (Jumps off the edge but fell right onto a rock making Fox and Gallus cringing at that moment. She slowly slid into the water.)
Gallus: I'm sure she's ok. I hope.
(Interview: Lovebirds.)
Gallus: Ooh, are you alright?
Silverstream(rubbing her face): Yeah, I can probably just swim it off.
(Interview: Pilots.)
Fox: I'm actually a little relieved that I'm not doing this challenge. Can't afford to lose this ring underwater. It'll be like trying to find it in a haystack.
Falco: That's for sure.
(Both players search underwater for the rings. Falco looks under some rocks and doesn't find anything. Silverstream looks in the corals but finds a tiny octopus that squirted her with ink. Falco then checks a small underwater cave, but there was an eel inside there and chomps on his arm causing him to panic and also got electrocuted. Silverstream searched the sea anemones and spotted a ring in front of her. Suddenly, an ominous silhouette of a large finned fish was heading in her direction. She looked closely and it turns out to be a shark charging at her. She swam away from it, but something comes by and she saw that shark was swimming away because Falco came to help her by giving it a punch to the face.
(Interview: Lovebirds.)
Silverstream: For a moment there, my life flashed before my eyes and I thought I was a goner.
Gallus: But what happened then?
Silverstream: That pilot came out of nowhere and protected me from the scary shark, and also saved my life.
Gallus: That's a relief, because if you got eaten by that shark...
Silverstream: Awww...
Gallus: We'd be disqualified immediately.
Silverstream: Hey!
Gallus: Relax, I'm kidding! I'd be lost without you.
Silverstream: You would?
Gallus: Yeah. (Both of them hold talons before leaning in close.)
(Solo interview: Falco.)
Falco: I know its the finale and all, but I still want to keep it friendly. Ok so I may have a soft spot sometimes but can you blame me?
(Both players wait for their partners to resurfaces when a moment later, Silverstream resurfaces from the water and has a ring in her talon.)
Silverstream: I got the ring!
Gallus: Nice! Meet me on the beach. (Starts heading towards the beach.)
Silverstream: See you there. (Swims toward the beach.)
Ludwig VO: The Lovebirds have taken the lead. How long will they have it exactly. Find out when we come to... The Incredible Crossover Race!
Lakitu: 2! Still worth it though! (Gives him 5 bucks.)
(The very last break of this season.)
(The break has concluded and we cut back to the bottom of the bay as Falco finds his ring after five minutes pass. He resurfaces from the water with the ring.)
Falco: Got the ring!
Fox: Nice! We're still in this! Get to the beach!
(Up ahead, Silverstream steps out of the water and Gallus was waiting for her there.)
Silverstream: Uh Gallus, do you mind turning away for a second? I gotta shake myself off.
Gallus: Say no more. (Turns around and she shakes herself dry.)
Silverstream: All done! (Pressed the button getting the next tip) It's a team up callback challenge, for your next challenge, teams will have to walk on...
Ludwig: FIRE! (The camera switches over to Ludwig walking on some hot coals) Coals actually. For this challenge, one member must wear a grass skirt and the other wears a wreath of Mahi-lei. The leaf wearer must carry their brides/partners- ooh that's hot -across this path of hot coals. It's a test of strength... ow... and honor! ouch. And if any of these, grass skirt included, catches on fire then it's back to the start. YOUCH! (Leapt of the coals and on the sand.) Once you complete the task, race on over to that warp pipe where it will then take you to Honoli'i Beach Park where your next cloudbox awaits. Great! Now I'm gonna need a long foot bath and a pedicure too.
(Both of them suit up for the second challenge. Gallus puts on the wreath while Silverstream dons on the skirt. Switch over to the Pilots that weren't too far behind.)
Fox: Great work buddy! We're still in this!
Falco: Yeah, but from now on. Air and land: good, water: not so good for me.
Fox: At least you survived that. We still have a ways to go. (Got the tip from the cloudbox.) Oh boy, this is gonna be a dilemma for us.
Falco: What do you mean? (Looked at the tip himself.) Ok, I definitely see it now. How are we going to decide who wears the skirt?
Fox: Rock, paper, scissors for it?
(Up ahead, Gallus was carrying Silverstream over the hot coals and when they were halfway through, the skirt suddenly caught fire.)
Silverstream: Aah! Fire! (Both of them rush back and Silverstream jumps in the water extinguishing the fire.) *sighs in relief.* That's better.
(Switch over to the Pilots attempting the firewalk challenge with Fox wearing the wreath and Falco wearing the skirt not looking amused.)
Falco: I have never been so humiliated in my entire life.
Fox: Be glad you aren't the one walking on hot coals. Now do you mind? I have to focus!
Falco: Fine, whatever. Let's just hope that this shame won't last forever. I'm already-
Fox: ..and we're done.
Falco: Whoa, already? How'd you pull it off?
Fox: It's better if I'd rather not say. (Both of them take the outfits off and take the warp pipe to the Beach Park.)
Ludwig VO: The Pilots have now taken the lead, will the roles be reversed or is it gonna stay the same?
(The Lovebirds are trying again and are now more than halfway through.)
Silverstream: Keep going, you're almost there.
Gallus: Oh man, these coals are really hot. Come on. Almost there!
(He then made it to the end and puts Silverstream back on the sand.)
Gallus: Thank goodness that's over!
Silverstream: Let's go! Hope it's gonna be all over soon.
Gallus: I'm gonna need to put my feet in some ice to soothe this burn.
(Up ahead at the Honoli'i Beach Park, the Pilots come out of the pipe and saw the next cloudbox.)
Fox: I hope this all ends soon. Please let this be the final challenge. (Pressed the button and Falco read the tip.)
Falco: It's the last all alone challenge: Surf's Way Up.
(Lakitu is seen riding the waves on his cloud.)
Lakitu: This is it! The final challenge of this season! The players better get ready to ride the waves and COWABUNGA! Whoa. (Almost loses his balance.) In this final challenge, whoever didn't dive for rings, has to change into swimwear and ride one of the gnarly waves while maintaining their balance on the board for like 15 seconds. (Immediately got wiped out by a wave splashing down on him. He quickly comes back up holding onto his cloud.) Wipeout like I just did, and you'll have to wait for another wave in order to try again. Succeed, and teams will race down the beach and all the way over there to where Ludwig is waiting for them.
(Switch over to where Ludwig is taking his foot bath where the final finish line is located, and the 18 teams in the peanut gallery waiting for the finalists to arrive.)
Ludwig: Indeed they will. Teams will race down the beach and over here to the very last finish line of the season. The first team to make it here will be the winners of the Incredible Crossover Race 2 and also win... 1 MILLION DOLLARS!
(The teams in the peanut gallery began cheering with the exception of a few teams. *You already might guess which ones.)
(Interview: Fairies.)
Lip: I can't believe this! One team is going to win it all.
Windy: Who do you think will win it? Both of them are pretty good.
Lip: I could go either way.
Windy: You and me both sister.
(Interview: Bone Baddies.)
Dry Bones: The Lovebirds vs The Pilots? Whoa, this is an exciting finale. Not.
(Both of them laugh at that bad joke.)
Dry Bowser: Ehh... what kind of pilots are they again? The one in the air or the ones underground?
Dry Bones: Ah does it matter? Both teams stink! (Both of them started laughing again.)
(Interview: Dash Twins.)
Lightning: We're rooting for the Pilots. They've got awesome skills.
Thunder: But they don't seem to be a match for our newest invention: X-treme Parkour Mixed Martial Arts!
(Both of them throw some Martial Arts moves when Lightning suddenly kicks the camera breaking the lens.)
(Double interview: Crusaders and Pie Sisters.)
Prism: You bummed we lost Gem?
Gemstone: Absolutely not. I'm glad we got out before we did anything dangerous like going deep into a dark cave-
Cherry: Hey, that's what we did.
Blueberry: Be glad you weren't there for that.
Gemstone: or go into a dirty rainforest, and walk on hot coals. No big deal.
(Interview: Puyo Girls.)
Amitie: I can barely contain my excitement. We're watching the final showdown.
Ally: And the final two teams are doing it all for love. It really does conquer all.
Amitie: Yeah! It sure does!
(Interview: Brains and Enthusiast.)
Sig(monotone): What's wrong?
Ciel(monotone): I'm actually glad the Gender Benders got eliminated. They really did get what was coming to them.
Sig(monotone): My thoughts exactly.
(Interview: Evolution Foxes.)
Delphox: You excited?
Braixen: Yeah, I can't believe Fox made it to the finale! (Her tail began wagging furiously.) Oh I hope he and Falco win the race.
Delphox: Take it easy with your paw it's still bandaged up from the snake bite.
Braixen: Oh sorry, got a little carried away.
(Back at the beach, Fox suited up and goes into the water.)
Fox: Here we go.
(The wave began to form and Fox paddles to shore, then stood up on his surfboard and rode the wave.)
Fox: Hey, this doesn't seem so bad. Looks pretty- Waugh! (He lost his balance and fell off the board. He reaches the shore shortly after.)
Fox: How long was that?
Falco: That was only three seconds.
Fox: Well looks like I gotta try again.
(It was the exact moment the Lovebirds arrived at the beach and got their next tip.)
Gallus: Surfing huh? Guess I'm up. (Gets a surfboard and goes in the water alongside with Fox.) Well, this could be the only challenge one of us takes it all.
Fox: You ready to finish this off for good?
Gallus: Let's finish this!
(Another wave comes at the two of them. They both stand up on their surfboards and prepare to ride the wave.)
Fox: Time to ride these waves!
Gallus: Shaka! No matter what happens, it's gonna be seen over and over again.
(Both of them were looking good so far, but they both immediately wipeout when they lost their balance.)
Gallus: (resurfaces) Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said that.
Fox: Uhh... yeah.
(Repeat performance time. Both Fox and Gallus try again and paddle out to shore.)
Fox: Here we go again!
(The wave approaches, both players start standing up on their boards.)
Gallus: Cowabunga! Again.
(Everything was going well for the two of them. When the wave started, they were both able to stay on their surfboards for 15 seconds without wiping out this time.)
Fox: We did it!
Gallus: That actually... was kinda fun.
Fox: I guess it was pretty awesome! Now it's time to finish this once and for all.
Gallus: Count on it!
(Both of them paddle back to shore and put their surfboards away. The Lovebirds were able to get a head start to the direction of the finish line because Fox had to switch out of his swimwear and put his normal clothes back on.)
Ludwig: The very last challenge has been completed by both players and now it's a mad dash to the finish line and for the million. I can't wait to find who's going to get here first.
(Right now, the Lovebirds are ahead and not to far behind were the Pilots gaining on them.)
Fox: The finish line is right in plain sight and we're catching up. Put it into overdrive!
(Interview: Pilots.)
Fox: Basically, when it gets down to the ire, it always comes down to what you have left in the tank.
Falco: Sure does.
(Both teams are closing in on the finish line.)
Lakitu: (holding the tray with the million dollars) Who is going to win this million dollar prize?
Gallus: Almost there!
(The teams in the peanut gallery began cheering as the final two teams approach.)
Blueberry: Wahoo!
Cherry: This is exciting!
Lightning and Thunder: Yeah!
Prism: Alright! (Gemstone just rolled her eyes knowing she'd expect this from her friend.)
(It's now neck and neck with the players almost at the finish line. A moment later, one team is revealed to have stepped on the rug.)
Ludwig: That's it everyone: The Pilots win!
Fox: Wait, we won?
Falco: We won!
(The teams that were in the peanut gallery rushed off the bleachers and ran over to the Pilots congratulating them and surrounded them with praise.)
Sonic: Nice work guys!
Tails: That was amazing!
Lightning: Great racing you guys!
Thunder: You guys crushed it!
(With all the comments they were getting, Fox felt someone tapping him on the shoulder and it revealed to be Braixen standing behind him smiling at him. Fox blushes when he saw her.
Braixen: Hey you.
Fox: Hey you.
Braixen: Congrats on the win!
Fox: Thanks, I'm quite surprised we won the race! Now for one thing I've always wanted now that the race has ended.
Braixen: What would that- (She was interrupted by Fox pulling her in close and gave her a kiss on the lips which she got comfortable with for a minute.)
(Despite coming in second, Gallus and Silverstream decided to congratulate the winners too.)
Gallus: Well we didn't win, but I'm glad I got to do this with you.
Silverstream: Me too.
Gallus: So do you want to go out like on a date with me?
Silverstream: No need to tell me twice. Yes, I'll go out with you! (Pulls him in for another hug and he hugs her back.)
(The best of Gallus and Silverstream: Lovebirds.)
(Scenes of this team's great moments play as they remember all they've been through.)
Silverstream: It may have been a super hard race, but we still had a blast.
Gallus: Yeah, there were plenty of close calls for us, but we pulled through and with our buddies: The Changelings.
Silverstream: I was glad I got to do this with you and now I have a special someone to share this experience with.
Gallus: Who would that be?
Silverstream: You silly.
Gallus: Oh, well it was fun doing this race.
(The scene concluded and their friends came over to them.)
Ocellus: You guys were amazing out there!
Silverstream: Thanks!
Thorax: So you guys aren't bummed out that you didn't win?
Gallus: No, I mean... we did take second place out of 20. That's still pretty good for us and you guys did take third.
(Back to Fox and Braixen now releasing themselves from their long kiss.)
Braixen: So how about that date you promised me?
Fox: Actually, I have something else in mind. I've been waiting until the race was over to tell you.
Braixen: Tell me what?
Fox: Braixen, when I first met you, I was quite surprised to see you actually fell in love with me. When I think about us, I think of us as a perfect fiery couple. At first, I wanted to find love in my life and I just found it. I want to start a new chapter in my life and I want to start it with you. (It was the moment of truth, he pulls the case containing the ring out of his pocket and shows it to her.) So what do you say Braixen, (opens the case revealing the ring.) will you marry me?
(She gasped at the sight of the ring which was a gold band and a light blue diamond in the center.)
Braixen: It's beautiful. (She starts tear up.) No need to tell me twice, YES! I'll marry you. (She threw her arms around him and also kissed him multiple times).
Falco: *winked* Good job buddy.
(The best of Fox and Falco: Pilots.)
(Both of them remember all the good times they've been through.)
Fox: 20 teams started this race, and was pumped going up against them all.
Falco: This race was epic! Hang gliding, bungee jumping, surfing, and much more.
Fox: When we started, we were laser focused and in the zone. I also didn't have a girlfriend at first, but now I do, so it's a win win for us.
Falco: I guess there are a few times we have flaws, but we were able to push through them.
Fox: Now I'm officially gonna be with the girl of my dreams.
Falco: I'm sure Braixen is gonna love to hear that.
(Clips ended. We now see all 20 teams standing around also looking at the camera with the exception of Braixen and Fox lost in each other's eyes.)
Ludwig: Oh sure, get all lovey dovey right where the whole world can see. That's just perfect! Anyway, that wraps up another season! We hope you all enjoyed this incredible race around the world and different universes. Come back next season with an all star version of newbies and veterans. I might think about doing an alternate ending otherwise I'll just skip right over to the Epilogue. That's all for The Incredible Crossover Race 2.
