A/N- I don't own Harry Potter though I wish I did

I split from the potter clan the moment we got to the platform. I'm a master at sneaking away from my family and people who wanna be my friends. I don't do friends or people in general and I can't have friends. It would put them in danger.

Finding a compartment that was empty was easy. Partly because my parents decided to come early this year so that Harry wouldn't attract as much attention as usual and they could say goodbye properly. Still, some people came early so a small crowd was around us and it made my escape even easier. Leaning back in my seat I opened my copy of fantastic beast's and where to find them and resumed reading.

Nearly two hours later. The Hogwarts Express was about to go and Luna Lovegood entered the compartment. "Can I seat here please Rose?" Luna is someone who also doesn't have friends although in her case no one wanted to be her friend, and we paired often up for group projects and sit together.

"Fine." I rolled her eyes to make it clear I don't want Luna there. I don't.

The view was amazing like usual, my book was great. I was at the bit about dragons. Then my siblings entered. Willow, Daisy, Thomas, and Harry.

"Why did you ditch us?" Demanded Harry, I shrug.

"I didn't want to have to listen and speak and act like an angel."

"Hmph!" Thomas turn. "Yeah right, you only act nice in front of media and public."

"Well, darling Tom I grow sick of the potter clan."

"Doesn't excuse your actions we're your family," Daisy says.

That was why.

I can't let myself care about them, or else they'll be in danger.

"Why are you here?" I snap making sure I sound annoyed and angry.

"We want to sit together as a family."

At this point, Luna spoke up.

"Why don't you go, Rose?"

Great now I've got Luna on my case.

"Alright, I'll go." I started between gritted teeth well glaring at Luna.

Standing up we walk down to the compartment our parents in.

I had to let the others lead me but Thomas held my wrist, to make sure I didn't escape.

Thanks a lot, Lil bro.

Entering my mother sees me and Thomas lets go of my wrist. I rub it. it hurts now.

"Rose why did you run off?" My dad asks me. there's a concern in his voice.

I don't reply.

"rose sweetheart you know you can tell us anything were your family." It was my mother this time. She says this in that soft tone in a way that makes you want to pour out your soul knowing you can trust her.

But I can't. I can't tell her. I love her, I care about her but I can't tell her my secret.

"I know mum," I say with a roll of my eyes. she buys it. mum goes back to fussing over baby Lavender, well dad, Harry, Daisy, Thomas, and Willow play a round exploding Snape. I groan aloud and roll my eyes. "do you have to play that game?" Thomas gives me the stink eye. "yes we do." I can't blame Thomas for hating me. he has a memory of before... he was four I was seven. I had asked my "Darkside" you could say it was for help and... well Harry got hurt so badly he nearly died. It was my fault. from then on I shut everyone out. it was for their safety she can manipulate me through them.

"well," I said. "only dummies' like that game." that set all hell to lose with Thomas. "Are you calling me dumb?" He shouts at me angrily. I cock my head put on a sweet smile and say. "I'm calling people who like that game dumb." then closing my eyelashes I say. "do you like it Thomas?" in an all too sweet tone. For a moment the entire is quiet. then Thomas lungs at me, his hands around my neck I can't breathe. it's all screaming and shouting but Thomas let's go. "I'm... I'm sorry," he says and I know he is. I want to act like a big sister to my brother tell him it's fine, but he can't do it again but... "damn right you are." I snap at him. "You could've killed me, so sorry isn't going to cut it." Thomas look's even guiltier. my mother interjects. "Thomas has anger issues and you provoked him." my mother pauses everyone's looking at her now. "so you both will be punished"

The game of exploding Snape resumes, but no one is really into it anymore. "Thomas punishment will be worse than my right?" My mother and father glance at each other. "We haven't decided yet." after a few minutes Harry, Daisy and Willow stand up. "We're going to go by the cart and might go met up with some friends is that okay?" Harry asks her, with Daisy and Rose to smile eagerly. my mother smiles. "of course but come back soon you need to change." with that, they waved goodbye and left.

Did they honesty think I would buy that?

"Hey mum can I go get change and go back to my compartment with Luna, since?" and I cock Thomas direction. "yes." my mother says.

exiting the compartment I go on the hunt to find my siblings.

i find them in a compartment with Ron Weasley Hermione granger harry's best mates.

"We don't know what to do anymore.' that was Willow's voice.

"With Thomas, he tries to stop it, but with rose around his anger..." Daisy speaking.

"we'll I'm sorry mate but I won't be any help." that was Ron wealsy's voice.

"I might be." it was Hermione Granger.

I decided to leave right then and there and go get change. the converse wasn't worth eavesdropping and now mum was probably thinking me and Luna - Luna LOVEGOOD could be my friend but she can't be. I can't have friends and I don't want Luna ad a friend. I don't want anyone as a friend. I just want to keep people safe and that means keeping my "dark side" at Bay.

Getting changed in the bathroom, I heard the chatter of other students, waiting to use a bathroom to get changed for whatever reason they couldn't get changed in their compartment. I heard my siblings.

"I wondered why they asked us to leave." That was Daisy's voice I didn't need to hear anymore. I raced out of the bathrooms when my siblings and their friends were looking the other way. I needed to hear this conversation.

Sitting down I lean against the door wishing I had my invisible cloak. "Why does she hate us?!" My mother's voice she sounds upset and I'm probably the one she was talking about. "I don't know Lily, with Thomas, we can get the help he needs but Rose- she's well backtracking him and making all of us upset." It was the truth what my father had just said. I hear approaching footsteps and lean against the wall so I can still eavesdrop but I pull out my book so people will think I'm reading.

"Rose seems to have gone out of her way to make us all think we hate her hate her since Harry's accident when they were seven." It was my father's voice.

"I can't shake the feeling she isn't something, she knew where to find Harry when they were seven and what types he had and James I'm worried that she knows what happened or worse- she tried to kill Harry." Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. she's close to the truth - too close. I need a plan asap. But for now, I need to keep listening. the more I know that they know or theories at least. The better.

"I think you may be right about Rose, but I think we should resume this conversation later."

Fuck. Standing up I run down to where Luna is. Thank God.

"Luna." Her shots right up from the Quibbler her eyes eager. "Rose!" She thrusts her arms around me the Quibbler now on the floor. This was bad. Luna like me this bad.

"Luna," I say pushing her off me. "I've been here around about an hour got it?"

"You want me to lie," Luna replies blankly. I can stop her from being my friend later for now I need her. I nodded my lips tighten one hand behind my back with my fingers crossed. "Okay." Luna smiles and I breathe a sigh of relief.

"R-rose?" Luna sounds nervous. Oh-no.

"Yeah, Luna?" I ask.

"Are we-" Luna cut looking anxious. I groan.

"What is it?" I snap at her. Luna looks up her eyes wide. I sigh. "Sorry. What is it?"

I smile kindly at her.

"Are we friends?"

My first instinct was to say no, but then I got an idea. I could use her to make my parents get off my scent.

"Why would ask?!" I smile at her.

"Of course we are."

I meant it. I knew the moment the words left my mouth I meant it.

I need to use Luna to get my parents off my track and ditch her. As soon as possible. It's dangerous for me to have friends I can't have.

I'll consult the grey tonight.

"Rose hurry up!" It was Luna.

The train had stopped.

"Coming Luna!"

My parents saw us running off the train together.

It was going to be a long year.
