Presidential Suite – Laying down in bed shortly after waking up with Gabby still fast asleep on his chest this morning, Matt smiled due to the fact that she was currently naked on his chest. Heck, he didn't even care that the sun was currently glaring into his eyes. Just the sight of his beautiful, naked wife fast asleep on his chest this morning was all he needed to make him happy. And that was exactly how he felt right now. Happy. Happy to be holding the woman he loves, the woman he made love to the night before in his arms. And he is especially happy that Gabby is still asleep on his chest. She deserves to sleep in right now. She is always so busy in the morning. Between Matteo and just trying to keep him calm while he wakes up and gets ready for work, it's like she can never get a break for herself. Except for right now.
Right now, she is sleeping on his chest and she looks really happy. Maybe this is all she wants to do today. Maybe she just wants to rest in bed with her husband. Or, maybe she wants to take a swim. The truth of the matter is, Matt has no idea just what his wife wants to do. If she wants to go to the beach, then they can do that. If she wants to go to the pool, they can do that. What Matt is trying to get at though, is that she is going to be in charge of deciding that they do today. He has no plans today, well except for one. And that is a plan not to do something. Today, he plans on concentrating on the woman he loves. He plans on spending time with her and making her feel like the most important woman to him, which is what she is. She is his one and only; that is just the truth, and it will always be the truth.
Running his fingers up and down his wife's back, Matt smiled as they are both extremely happy with each other right now. That was, until he heard his phone ding. It was a text message. And he didn't know if he should check it. But you know what, it may be work related, so he can check it. Going to grab his phone, he was about to go read it when he heard his wife wake up. "You read that text, I get up right now and put my underwear on." Matt laughed when he heard his wife say that, running his hand up and down her back. He then turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. God, this is perfect and they are both so happy to be holding each other close. "I was just going to shut off the ringer. I thought you were still asleep." Gabby then pushed herself up off her husband's chest to look down into his eyes.
Slipping up his chest, Gabby stared down into his eyes and put her hand on his side. Stroking it with her thumb, Gabby smiled as she stared down into her loving husband's eyes. Meanwhile, Matt reached up and put his hand on the side of her face. Leaning up, Matt kissed her softly and just smiled as they are both really happy with each other. God, she is so beautiful, and he is very happy over the fact that they are together right now. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as she leaned her forehead against that of her husband's. "I love you too. And I would not complain at all if you and me decide to just stay here in bed today, relaxing together." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that. "I thought maybe we could go to the beach today or something. Or at least to the pool."
Gabby groaned when Matt said that. "Let me guess, you don't like that idea?" Gabby sighed. "What if we run into somebody that we know? I mean, do you even know where Kelly and Stella are staying?" Matt then went to go grab his phone. "Give me a second." Gabby was confused when he said that. "What are you doing?" Matt then went to open his e-mail search bar. "Kelly Hotel" He then went to look through his e-mails until he saw the e-mail he wanted to see. 'FW: Petition for Temporary Housing, Hotel'. He then went to open the e-mail and proceeded to read the document. He then read it to see where they were staying. "We're good." Gabby looked up at her husband. "We are?" Matt agreed. "They're at the Hilton." Gabby was confused. "How do you…" Matt then gave his phone to her.
Grabbing it, Gabby went to look at it. "Oh, he just sent you his petition for temporary housing." Matt agreed. "They don't have a place here yet." Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled when he said that. "Well, at least that means that we don't have to worry about running into them. Wait, where are Andy and Heather staying? Or did they stay in Chicago?" Matt sighed. "He's in Chicago until the end of June. I wanted to bribe him to come, but he told me that Heather wouldn't allow it due to the fact that she wanted the boys to finish school there in Chicago. And I get that. I mean, they do want to finish school there." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that and just smiled as she cuddled up to him again. "So, what are we doing? Are we getting up? Or are we going to go to the pool?" Matt smiled at his wife.
"Maybe first, we can do something a bit sexier?" Gabby smirked when her husband asked her that, well aware of what he is talking about. She then went to roll off his chest and watched as Matt rolled over on top of her this morning, which is exactly what she wants from her husband. Matt then proceeded to lean over his beautiful while and stared down into her eyes. Putting his hand next to her on their bed, Matt smiled due to the fact that she is the love of his life. And he is always happy when they are alone with each other. Wrapping her arms around her husband's back, Gabby smiled as she leaned up and took things nice and slow with her man. Meanwhile, Matt put his hands on her neck and took things slow with her too. And to say that this was perfect is an understatement. It is a dream come true.
After spending a good 30 minutes making love to her husband, Gabby took some breaths as she laid down on her back and just smiled due to the fact that it was amazing. Gabby has to admit, her husband is just the best and she is so happy that this is how they are both spending their time. They are naked together, in bed, with nothing but the covers on top of each other. And that is perfect. "Is it just me, or do you get better every time we have sex?" Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that, staring at his beautiful wife. He then went to get close to her, wrapping his arm around her under her back. Rolling over onto her side, Gabby smiled as she went to cuddle up to her man; laying her head down on his chest, Gabby smiled as she put her hand on his chest and got very comfortable in his arms today.
"Remind me why we don't do that every morning?" Matt laughed when his wife asked him why they don't do that (have sex) every morning. "Well, you need to ask our son to co-operate with me more. I mean, I am trying to give you pleasure every morning. Yet my wing man refuses to co-operate each and every day." Gabby just laughed and agreed with Matt as she stroked his chest with her thumb. Meanwhile, Matt put his hand on hers and stroked it with his thumb. At the same time, he turned his head and kissed his beautiful wife's forehead. God, this is perfect, and Matt is just so happy that they are together right now. There is nothing more that they want to do other than hold each other close when they are in bed. "You want me to order us some breakfast?" Gabby groaned. "I just got cozy."
Matt laughed. "You did say that you want to go take a swim today though." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "Then I don't need to take a shower, we're going in the pool." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling at the idea of her not taking a shower. "I think today, I might text our family and tell them that I am not bringing my phone with us." Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt say that. Looking down at his wife, Matt could tell that she was not the biggest fan of that idea. He then decided to slip his arm out from under her and looked at Gabby. "Lay down on your side." Gabby looked up at her husband when he said that. "What?" Matt then smiled at his wife. "I said, lay down on your side and I will get close to you okay?" Gabby agreed with her husband, going to do just that today.
Matt's POV – Part 1:
After rolling onto my side (just like Gabby), I went to get nice and close to my beautiful wife so that we can hold each other close this morning. I can already tell that something is wrong, and I want her to open up to me. If she needs to talk to me, then we are going to do that before we leave to go to the pool, or anywhere for that matter. That's just the honest truth. I love Gabby more than anything, and I don't want her to be stressed right now. Rather, I want her to take it easy and just talk to me. So, that's what we're going to do right now. Holding my girl close to me, I smiled as I moved my hand to Gabby's back and stroked it with my thumb. "What's wrong Gabby?" Gabby took a breath when I asked her that. "You seem to not like the idea of me not bringing the phone to the pool. Is that the case baby?"
Gabby nodded, agreeing with me when I asked her if me not bring the phone to the pool was bothering her. "Why is that bothering you Gabby?" Gabby just looked at me when I asked her that, grabbing my hand before intertwining our fingers. "I am just worried. I mean, I don't think that something is going to happen to Matteo but…" I already knew where this was going, already agreeing with my beautiful wife. Kissing her forehead, I smiled as I am really happy with my beautiful wife. "Gabby, be honest with me. You are still nervous when it comes to us being away from Matteo. As much as you need this…" Gabby shook her head. "I'm fine with being away from him, because I know that he's safe with our family." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, moving to kiss her hand as we held each other today.
"I am just not okay with us not being able to be reached should something, heaven forbid, happen to our little guy. Matt, I am still worried about him. I mean, this isn't Los Angeles. This isn't home to him yet. Heck, we still need to talk about that. Are you really thinking about us making this our permanent home Matt? I mean, that's a huge step if that's what you're thinking. Is that what you're thinking?" I shrugged when Gabby asked me that. "At the end of the day, it's a decision that we need to make together. Gabby, I am not going to make this decision without you. Is that what's bothering you? How you feel like this decision has already been made? How it's already going ahead?" Gabby took a breath, about to say something, when she stopped. "We agreed no business for a bit." I shook my head.
"This isn't business. This is our family Gabby. Don't play that card. This is our family; this is Matteo's future we are talking about." Gabby took a breath when I said that. "I think that's where I am starting to have some troubles." I agreed with Gabby when she said that. "About what?" Gabby looked down when I asked her that. "What if Matteo starts to make friends here? Friends that we trust? Families that we enjoy? Matt, I hate to even think this way but…I don't want to be those parents who force their kids to leave their friends behind just because they need to move for work. Us, we have an opportunity to work wherever we want to work. We have an opportunity to work from anywhere now. And I guess, that's bothering me. If Matteo makes friends…" I then went to finish her thought. "You want to stay put."
Gabby took a breath and agreed with me when I said that. "Is that too much to ask?" I shook my head when Gabby asked me if it was too much to ask. "No, it's not Gabby. It's not…because I feel the same way. You don't think I worry about that too? Whether I am making decisions that are negatively affecting our son? Gabby, I think about that all the time. I worry about it each and every day. I want to leave this company in a better position than when I took it over. I want to do that for Matteo. And I want to do that for us. I hope you know that I don't want to work all the time. I want to be your husband a lot more. I just hope I am not working too much." Gabby looked at me when I asked her that. "Hey, of course you aren't working too much baby. You work the right amount." I agreed with Gabby.
Walking over to his suitcase this morning after ordering both himself and Gabby some breakfast, Matt smiled as he went to look for his wet suit when he heard Gabby come out of the washroom in her swimsuit. Whistling, Gabby smirked. "Damn, now that's hot." Turning to look at his wife, Matt blushed due to the fact that he was currently just wearing tight boxers. "I thought you'd be longer." Finding his wet suit in his suit case, he checked that it was the right one. He remembered the last time they were on vacation together; he brought the one that was too small and too tight. "It's fine Matt. I like it when you are naked. It's sexy." Matt just laughed when Gabby said that, putting his wet suit on in the process. The then proceeded to tug it up and smiled as he went to do up the adjust it at his waist.
"Hey, at least you're the one who caught me butt naked rather than room service." Gabby agreed with her husband. "Uhm babe, you do realize that they don't come this far into the room right? We are in our bedroom. They are only going to go into the main room of the Presidential Suite." Matt smiled and agreed with Gabby when she said that, clearly able to see that she is really happy over the fact that they are staying in the presidential suite. "I can only assume by the smile on your face, that you are very happy over the fact that we are staying in the presidential suite here at the hotel?" Gabby smiled and agreed with Matt when he asked her if she was happy that they were staying in the presidential suite. "Matt, I want to just say this, you really overdid it." Matt agreed with his wife, watching her walk over.
Walking right up to the man she loves, Gabby smiled as she wrapped her arms around Matt and looked up into his eyes. Meanwhile, Matt put his hand on Gabby's neck before bending down and proceeding to kiss the woman of his dreams softly. Moving her hands up Matt's back, Gabby smiled before feeling Matt pick her up in his arms. A bit shocked when he did that, Gabby just went to wrap her arms around his neck while feeling Matt put his hands on her back. She then watched as Matt carried her over to their bed again, smirking as he went to lay her down on their bed. Leaning over his wife, Matt smiled as he put his hands on her neck and bent down to kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled when he said that. "Want to sit in here while we wait for breakfast?" Matt agreed. "TV on?"
Gabby's POV:
When Matt asked me if I wanted the TV to be on while we were in bed, I took a breath as I wasn't sure whether that was a good idea. I mean, what if we catch business news. I want him to slow down and just take it easy. I don't want him to think about business today. Today, he is nothing but my loving husband. I want this to be our second honeymoon. Heck, Matt promised me that this would be our second honeymoon. "Matt, I am just nervous about that. If we agree to watch TV, I need you to promise me something." Matt looked at me when I said that, seemingly getting concerned based on how I am speaking to him. "What's wrong Gabby?" I took a breath when he asked me that. "Matt, say we see something related to the business. Matt, I want this to be our second honeymoon. You promised."
Matt took a breath when I asked him that. "Gabby, I never made that promise, as it is a promise that is too hard to keep. Baby, what if they talk about Matteo on the news? I can't just ignore it." I thought about it and agreed. "Then can you agree that, only family related matters are something you will get mad about? I don't want you to go backwards. Baby, you slept all night last night. Matt, that is something I haven't been able to say in a while. You actually slept. And it looks like you slept soundly. It looks like you are rested. I don't see the bags under your eyes that I have seen since this all started. And I like that. I like that's the case. Matt, you need to rest. You need to relax. Promise me?" Matt agreed. "Ok, I will try my best. But that's all I can promise Gabby." I agreed with Matt and smiled at my husband.
I then got close to him and put my hand on his back. Leaning up, I smiled as I kissed him softly. "And that's all I ask, that you try and take it easy right now. I mean it Matt, you need this. I have seen you so stressed and I hate that I can't do anything other than give you sex to help you relax." Matt seemed shocked when I said that. "Hey, do you really think that's true Gabby? That sex is the only thing that calms me down?" I took a breath when Matt asked me that. "I'm hoping that's not the case." Matt agreed with me. "Let's go to the living room, we'll sit on the couch and talk over coffee." I agreed. "That sounds like a great idea." Grabbing Matt's hand, I smiled as I went to lead him outside so that we can sit in the living room and talk over some coffee. "I am making you coffee okay?" I agreed with Matt, ready to have the coffee that he makes. He makes amazing coffee, and I am so glad that we are here together.
Matt's POV – Part 2:
Shortly after making our way out to the living room that we have here in our suite (and I made us some coffee), I smiled as I walked over to the couch so I can sit with Gabby while we enjoy our coffees together this morning. Turning her head to look at me, Gabby smiled as she is really happy over the fact that we are alone right now. Heck, we're both happy that we're alone. As much as we love Matteo, we do miss our times alone with each other. That's when I noticed that Gabby wasn't on the couch. "Gabby?" Gabby then came back out of the washroom and smiled at me. "Here, put this on." Seeing that Gabby brought out my signature long sleeve shirt, the grey one, I smiled at her. "Remind me why you always wear a long sleeve shirt?" I smiled at her. "It's because I burn too easily." Gabby agreed.
Walking up to me, she smiled as she went to grab her coffee. "Thanks." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at my beautiful wife. "Go sit on the couch and I will be with there." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she walked away to go sit on the couch. Meanwhile, I walked over to the coffee table that we have in here before going to set my cup down. Afterwards, I grabbed my shirt and proceeded to put it on. "So, can we talk about our future?" Tugging my shirt down over my head, I was confused when Gabby told me that. "What are you talking about Gabby?" Gabby took a breath when I asked her that. "I mean our future as to where we're going to live. If that's what you want to talk about, then we can." I shook my head. "Hey, of course we can talk about that Gabby." Gabby agreed with me.
Walking over to her, I smiled as I watched Gabby put her feet up on the couch. Afterwards, I walked over to her so that we can both sit down together. Sitting going to slip off my sandals, I smiled as I sat down next to Gabby and then wrapped my arm around her. God, I am so glad that we are just alone. This is exactly what Gabby needs. She needs this time away from life. Time with me where we can't be found. And that is exactly what I want for her. I want her to take it easy and just relax. Wrapping my arm around Gabby as we both relaxed on the couch, I smiled as I turned my head and kissed her forehead softly. "How are you feeling right now?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "I'm feeling good. I'm just resting and taking it easy. Just trying to figure out all we need to talk about." I agreed with Gabby.
I agreed with Gabby. "What do we need to talk about?" Gabby sighed. "I am just thinking about how I feel here." I looked at Gabby, about to ask her a question. But at the same time, I knew that I just needed to let my wife talk to me right now. She needs to come out to me. "I mean, we of course need to see how Matteo is doing, that comes first. And that's really what I worry about. I know you said to take it easy on the plane but…" I sighed. "You did some reading." Gabby agreed. "I think I watched a Dateline episode once. They mentioned that there is not really much press here in Hawaii." I agreed with Gabby. "Does that interest you?" Gabby laughed. "Yeah, it does. I mean, I get that Matteo is your heir. But I want him to have as much of a 'normal'…" (She said, using air quotes). "…childhood as possible."
I agreed with Gabby when she said that. "And you don't think that can happen in Los Angeles." Gabby sighed when I asked her if she thought that it couldn't happen in Los Angeles, not that I didn't already know the answer. I could see it through her words. I knew that was what she was trying to tell me. She doesn't think that it can happen in Los Angeles due to the fact that it's always so stressful there. "No, I don't. But if you need to be there…I can figure it out." I shook my head. "No, don't think that way. Gabby, I am your husband. It's my job to do what's best for our family." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that and just went to grab his hand. She then stroked it with her thumb, going to take a sip of her coffee. "And I mean that with my entire heart, I will not do something just because of money."
Gabby turned her head and looked at me when I said that, biting her lip. "Hey, just think about this. Gabby, I yelled at the press. The press I need to get messages out to the public. I alienated some press. For us, for our family, for our son. Gabby, I don't care about that. I'm your husband first. I'll always be your husband first. That is just a fact." Gabby agreed with me, smiling when I said that. "So, what are we thinking about this? Are we thinking about moving here with our family?" I took a breath when Gabby asked me that. "I like the idea. However, we would need to talk about it with our family. And of course, I'd have to talk about it with the lawyers." Gabby was confused. "The lawyers?" I took a breath. "I need to get the hours of operation for Hawaii. For life employment contracts." Gabby then remembered.
"Right, you also have unionized workers." I agreed. "And I need to figure out the logistics. Are we going to get them to do the work during their hours, and then I do my work on shorter hours? Or do I need to wake up early and work on their schedule? That's all it'd be really. Like I told you Gabby, we can work this out and figure it out." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she was really happy over what I was saying. I then went to grab her hand and just smiled as I intertwined our fingers. Holding her close to me, I smirked due to the fact that we are both really happy with each other. I then went to kiss her hand and just smirked due to the fact that this is perfect. Leaning in, I smiled as I went to kiss my beautiful wife softly. "So, what did you order for some breakfast?" I smirked when she asked me.
"I ordered us some eggs benedict." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling. "I love the sound of that." I agreed with Gabby and just smiled, going to kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me, smiling as I told her that. "I love you too." I nodded and then smirked as we both drank our coffees while waiting for our breakfast to get here.
