Just a little Opening message to you readers : I am much better at thinking of my ideas than I am putting them to paper, go figure, right. Anyway, here's my story based in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Another small note. The writing in this chapter is that of maybe an 8 year old, and there are probably some errors in it. I appologise, I am EXTREEMLY sick, and can barley concentrate. The next chapter will be that worthy of a college student (I hope o.O)

The Story: Chapter One

Personal Log: Lt Chin – Off the coast of the North Pole

"After we failed at capturing the North Pole, the Water Tribesmen have started becoming more active in the war. They've sent troops into the battles grounds of the Earth Kingdom, and I'm sad to say that they've turned the tide in more than a few battles. I've been assigned a special meeting that will require me to go deep into the North Pole, and then make it out again. I'm leaving on a small boat in a few minutes. I must go prepare."

Chin's boat was lowered down into the water, and then the large Fire Nation battle ship backed away, quickly. Into the fog, Chin traversed the icy waters of the North Pole. She was dressed in tight red cloth to keep her warm, and shehada mask over her head, with two slits for the eyes. She breathed fire into her hands for some tiny try at heat, and looked up. Ahead, several hundred glaciers and pillars of ice littered the ocean. Somewhere nearby, a patrol of waterbenders was scouting the area.

Chin used her ore to travel quickly, but silently, until she made it to the coast line of the great Water Tribe city. She most definitely would have been caught, if it was not for the thick mist which cloaked her presence.

She used a stake to nail the boat to the ice, and walked to the eastern wall of the fortified city. She touched it with her gloved hand and sighed. It was too smooth to climb, but she then noticed the eastern watchtower. It was raised high to give the look out a better view, but in an attempt to bring beauty to the city, they built it with a spiral decoration. It was beautiful, though Chin, but it made it climbable.

Chin placed her foot on the bottom spiral and began climbing up. And up. And up. After twenty minutes of climbing, the exhausted Chin had finally reached the top. She peered over the top and to her disappointment, three guards occupied the watchtower. She was running out of time, and had to act fast. So, thinking quickly, she heated her right arm and punched the tower. As her arm dug into the wall, a small, arm sized hole was left. She pulled her arm out, took a deep breath, and shot a massive stream of fire into the hole she just made. Without much warning, the ice gave away and the top of the watchtower collapsed into itself.

Fast in movement, Chin jumped off the melting tower and onto the huge guard wall, she then bounced back onto the mountain of collapsing watchtower and then ran above the pile of snow. As the guards of the eastern wall ran to see what was happening, Chin was able to sneak down the wall, and into the great water tribe capital.

Panicking tribesmen ran from their homes too see the end of watchtower. It now was just a simple pile of snow and ice.
