A/N- Harry finds out about the task alongside Luna :) This chapter I think is pretty good you won't know what happened in the potions room for a while yet UwO

-Third-person POV-

The spell Rose had cast only affected people in Ravenclaw common room and dorms which is where they all should've been but Luna was curious and so she read the note, that Hagrid had entrusted to her- well there was more too it!

That morning was not a good one for Luna.

People found her odd, she knew this and held her head up high over it. Well no, she didn't like it but... why should she change? Rose didn't.

In some way, Rose was like her but she wove lies, not for her own benefit from what Luna had pieced together but still, she spun lies and kept them in line whereas Luna believed in the grumble hornshock because it was real!

She could've been popular whereas Luna had no chance. Ever. But instead, she insulted them all at first people thought she thought that she was too good for them and they still thought she did but it wasn't true.

Rose lied as she breathed but there was truth in everything she did. Never trust her words only actions and yet that rule was time and time again but also right. Luna had a set of rules, yes they sometimes didn't work but typically they did.

They were not so far this year. It was confusing her and so Luna after the day at the library needed to think. Review what she knew about Rose which wasn't a lot.

But that day she bumped into Hagrid. He looked at her, and then he smiled. "Luna?" She nodded her head, "yes Professor?" The name did not suit the man before her; big, bulky figure, bush beard, covered in feathers. Roosters, Luna thought. "Could you pass this on to Harry?" He shoved a letter into her hands without waiting for a reply.

He turned and left. Now that Luna looked around the hall had no one in it. That was... Her eyes fell on the letter, it was folded four times over. The thick heavy yellow-ish parchment looked like the stereotype (a muggle word Rose used a lot) wizarding paper.

Luna glanced back down at it, before running off to find Harry, despite the urge to open the note from Hagrid.

She slowed down, checking the library, asking the Fat lady and ghosts if they'd seen him she was stumped. She barely knew a thing about it.

Luna realized something right, then, and there. Rose always knew. Where he or anyone she was searching for would be, when Luna was with her they only checked four places tops before finding them.

She always knew.

This caused her to pause between the hall, looking forward, pondering. No matter what Rose seemed to know. She needed to think about this. Rose had a lot of notebooks.

That Luna or anyone else never looked in. The cogs were wiring when a - "Hi Luna" cut in. Harry, she spun around to see the black hair boy walking along. No Ron or Hermione.

"Harry!" Running up, he turned to face Luna. She smiled at him. "Hagrid gave this to me, for you.'

Holding it out, he took it giving her a smile. He unfolded the paper. Luna is standing, hoping for some sort of information into what it says. Just ask him, he won't mind.

Always my little star be honest about what you think and wish to ask. "What does it say, Harry?" She cocks her head back to try and see. "He wants to go to his shack a bit..late."

Over-curfew. "Could I join you?" He chews his lip, looking at her.

"It will be hard." Dancing around the truth but they could both see it as clear as glass no mist involved. "Then let's make a plan, using paper and pen."

So no one overhears. Goes unsaid.

-Harry's POV-

I can't deny it. I'm confused.

I like Cho like like-likes, but Luna's blonde-white hair and honest but sometimes strange words made him laugh and smile like she's an old friend. Or something more. It's confusing.

And now, I was taking her down out of Hogwarts under my cloak but no map. I took the cloak early to check if we could both fit under it well they were planning but when he went up to find the map after a board game with my friends but it wasn't there.

Fuck.

I'd have to tell my dad tomorrow. Who would most certainly not be pleased? Maybe tell my mum instead she wouldn't jump to conclusions.

But dad didn't anymore he kept his views unbiased he was just overthinking everything and what my mother said made me think like this or I'm just overthinking.

Luna and I walk along the grass to where Hagrid is standing by his hut. We can see him wearing a suit. There's a woman. A headmistress from one of the other schools, Olympe Maxime, the headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.

I hear him speak - "I have something to show you."

She smiles back at him. "I can't wait to see."

They walk and flirt at the same time, as Luna and I struggle to keep up well avoiding leaves and sticks and not tripping. Luna smiles at me.

"Do you do this lots?" She whispers to me, I nod my head because I do. When I need too that is.

"That's cool."

I smiled and glance back at her. Blue eyes look back at me.

We grin, despite the seriousness of what we're doing.

Hagrid finally stops walking. So we do as well.

"Shh," he puts his finger to his lips signalling to Olympe Maxime to be silent. So she is.

And there they are.

Four dragons, large, fierce, and fire-breathing creatures.

The first task.

Rose's first task. Is against dragons.

Fuck.

She's doomed.

But..

I vaguely remember Rose reading a book about dragons when we were younger.

She wasn't scared of them, that day back when they were closer.

Maybe she wouldn't be now?

He barely knew her anymore but maybe, just maybe she wouldn't be.

A/N- Did I do this on purpose? Yes, do I regret it? Nope! Next chapter Rose and the kidnapper. LOL! Nope! It's about HAGRID! :D Fluff! Let's go!
