Strange... Thought one Karin Desiree de Mailliart as she watched a strange storm brew around her home. At a young age of ten she dreamt to be a Knight and tame the winds.

"Karin," her father called. "The storm is getting stronger, and the windows are not a safe place to be."

Karin couldn't hear the last part as the wind's howl has gotten stronger, and soon lightning and thunder graced the skies with bright lights and loud booms. Once more she looked out the window, and to her surprise she saw a figure fall from the skies.

"Father look!" she shouted as she pointed at the falling figure.

Against his better judgement her father cast his spell, and hastily flew towards the falling figure, breaking the window in the process. He flew against the strong winds and heavy rain, his [Wind Armor] spell creating a barrier against the rain, while a [Wind Tunnel] was cast to create a path towards the falling figure. Due to his quick actions, he caught the falling figure, realizing that is was a young girl wearing what appeared to be a bloody and torn shirt to big for her. He noticed that she is around the same age as his daughter. The girls hair was a lighter shade of pink, and was sleeping soundly. As soon as they landed, he quickly made another path towards their home, and was greeted by a surprised daughter and wife. He walked pass them and hastily went to a vacant room and laid the girl there.

"Dear?" his wife asked. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"She was falling from the sky Eileen," he answered. "If I wasn't quick enough she would have hurt herself."

"But we don't even know who she is Laurence." she replied. "I fear that this may be a bad omen for our family."

"Father, is she my new sister?" asked Karin innocently as she looked at the sleeping girl.

Somehow, Karin managed to follow her father to the vacant room and saw the girl sleeping on one of the Guest's Bed. She noticed how the girl shared the same hair color as her, albeit a lighter color.

"Karin," said Laurence as he knelt before his daughter. "She may become your sister if your mother agrees, but for now let her sleep, and so should you."

He patted her hair. "We will talk to you tomorrow."

Karin smiled and left the room leaving the two adults alone.

"What do you mean by if I agree?" Eileen asked.

"About the girl Eileen," Laurence replied. "I'm thinking of adopting her."

"We do not even know her." Eileen said. "Her family could be looking for her for all we know."

"No Airship dare thread this storm Eileen," Laurence explained. "Let alone travel above our lands. Maybe she is a gift from Brimir, an answer to our prayer for more children."

"I doubt that." Eileen replied. "She is an unknown, for all we know she is a commoner's daughter."

"I can feel her magic Eileen." Laurence said. "Even without [Detect Magic], I felt it as I caught her."

Silently Eileen cast [Detect Magic] upon the sleeping girl, and what she saw her aura. It shone akin to Polished Silver, a strange color indeed. Never did she see such a color, somehow believing that the girl is indeed a blessing form their Lord Brimir.

"What if she has a family?" Eileen asked.

"Then we will return her." Laurence replied.

Shirou had no idea what was going on. His senses weren't working properly. He felt like he was laying on a soft bed, not like the futon he was used to. His entire body felt so weak, a possible side effect of over sleeping he assumed. He felt comfortable, yet instinctively, he knew he had to get up.

He got up and mechanically went to freshen himself up, he got out of the very comfortable bed, fixed it, and went for the restroom. He washed his face and misted the mirror. Carefully, he wiped it only to be find a young preteen girl with fair skin skin looking back at him with large golden eyes. Her long light lavender pink hair was soaking wet, plastering it to her shoulders.

Shirou closed his eye and counted to ten before looking down at his, or rather her her body dressed in a night gown. By all reasoning, he slowly reached towards a particular area only to find something missing. A loud scream echoed through the halls as the idea that the girl in the mirror is her.

Suddenly the doors of the room opened, and Shirou peeked out the bathroom. She now saw a well dressed man, liking to those nobles in Arthuria's memories, and a maid. The man notices the peeking girl, and said something to the maid. Slowly the man approached Shirou.

"Est-ce que ça va? Je t'ai entendu crier." the man said.

Shirou did not understand, she only tilted her head in confusion. The man repeated what he said, and still was met with a confused face. Finally, the man had a look of realization, and slowly took out what looked like a wand from his clothes. This made Shirou go on guard as she slowly traced a nameless long sword, light enough for him to swing easily and long enough to reach the man if he attacks.

[Etalsnart]

Bright light filled the room, and Shirou took the chance to swing the sword. The spell did nothing, but she did not want to waste the chance of an opening. Her sword would cut the man's arm before the second spell.

"Wait!" the maid cried, making Shirou do an impromptu change of strike, the sword awkwardly struck the floor next to the man.

"Can you understand us now?" the man asked.

Shirou noted that the man's mouth moved differently from the words she heard. She just nodded and the man sighed, the sword aimed at him must have shaken him to a degree.

"I had a feeling you could not understand us." the man said. "How were you able to swing such a sword? I don't remember having a sword at our guest bathrooms."

Said sword then broke down into motes of light surprising the maid. The man also noticed it, and realized what that sword was.

"That was made by magic," the man said before realizing something. "I'm sorry, I never asked your name."

"..."

"Young miss?"

"How can I trust you?" Shirou asked. "No Magus in their right minds would take someone in without an expected compensation."

"Young miss," the man explained. "I have saved you from falling from the sky, and had one of my family doctors look at you for three days now."

Shirou then stared at the man, but was still on guard as she was still in an unknown house. She did not remember anything about falling from the sky, and her memory was of the past were fuzzy. She remembers her, or rather his, name, that she was once a boy, that she went to school in Fuyuki Japan...

Emiya Kiritsugu her/his Father?...

Irisveil von Einsbern her/his Mother?...

Berserker her/his Guardian?...

Rin Tohsaka her/his classmate?...

Sakura Matou?...

Rider?...

Saber?...

She then found herself crying, as she now remembered what happened. His supposed dying body before blacking out, and then came another set of memories, one filling the gaps of his own and overlapping the one's he already had. Illya's memories... She saw herself playing with Kiritsugu, the experiments she willingly underwent due to her Grandfather's manipulation, her summoning of Berserker Heracles... Then, her desire to save the dying Shirou with Heaven's Feel and willingly giving up her body because his former body cannot be saved.

"Emiya... Illya..." Shirou whispered.

"Emilya?" the man asked, and somehow Shirou nodded. "Well then, my name is Laurence de Mailliart, I formally welcome you to the Mailliart Familya Manor, Miss Emilya."
