Legend of the Sword Dancer: Wilting
She found herself once again in the Temple in Fuyuki. Once more face to face with Caster Medea, only this time for some reason, Medea could now touch her. All she remembers is that she was quickly yanked to who know where and was immediately striped and clothed.
"How is it that you were able to grab me?" Emilya asked while being fitted her third outfit.
"Oh I made special preparations just in case you appear here again." Medea answered. "I remembered a spell that allowed the Argonauts deal with lost souls who refuse to return to the underworld. So I cast a modified version of it as a [Bounded Field]."
Emilya was surprised that there was such a spell, but then again, Medea once enhanced her Master and managed to hold his ground against Mages so it was nothing new.
"Say Caster," Emilya said. "Can I ask for a favor?"
"Oh?" Medea replied. "And what would this favor cost you?"
Clearly Medea was interested in what Emilya would ask a favor for.
"I'll wear anything you throw at me," Emilya bargained. "As long as it is not to questionable, and I get the right to say no."
"A hard bargain," Medea said. "But somewhat still okay, I still have other clothes we can test out after all. Very well, what would you want me to do?"
"I need you to teleport me to Sakura." Emilya said.
"Who?"
"Rider's Master."
You do realize that she is halfway around the world right?" Medea asked.
"Can you or can you not do it?" Emilya asked.
"Are you questioning my skills in Magecraft girl?" Medea replied with a hint of bloodlust. "My Magecraft is of the Age of Gods, and far more superior than what yours."
"So can you do it?"
"Girl if you want to go to Rider's Master so bad I'll take you there."
In a flash, Medea was no longer dressed in her casual clothes and donned her cloak. A large magic circle appeared beneath them and began to shine bright.
"Prepare yourself girl," Medea stated. "Otherwise you might lose your head."
Suddenly the world shifted into a lot of spiraling colors.
Somewhere in the Clocktower, Rin Tohsaka was alerted by an intruder appearing inside the bounded field of their room in the middle of the night. She swore that if it was her Master/Mentor she'd throw the first thing she would get her hands on at him.
"By the Root Master Zelreth, if this is another midnight task of yours I'm gonna castrate you!" she yelled before realizing that no, it was not Zelretch who appeared in her room, but a cloaked figure she was all to familiar with.
"Caster." she hissed. "What brings you to London?"
She saw Medea look at her side and began talking as if there was something there. Archer then materialized behind Rin with his swords ready, his eyes focused on Medea before looking at what appears to be a young child next to her.
"Rin she has a hostage." EMIYA whispered to her.
"Hostage?" Rin asked. "What hostage? There's no one there."
She pointed her finger at Medea, emphasizing that she appeared alone.
"It appears that I was right girl." Medea stated. "Only Servants may be able to see you."
"What are you talking about Caster?" Rin demanded.
Medea then once more began to talk to someone next to her. It looked like they are arguing about something judging from Medea's reactions.
"A certain someone suddenly appeared in Fuyuki," Medea explained. "And called in a favor to bring her here."
"I'm sorry but I have no clue who you are referring to." Rin replied.
"Emiya." Medea replied.
EMIYA studied the girl with Medea, he was surprised that Rin could not see the girl. And once Medea confirm that Heroic Spirits may be the only one who could see the child he was curious as to why Medea would bring her to London. And when the name Emiya was uttered, it had several reactions from Rin. At first Rin began to laugh, a genuine laugh before it became more of a laugh of madness.
"That dumbass is dead," Rin laughed. "We found the tattered remains of his clothes in the rubble. But for some Root dammed reason, he found his way back from the dead?"
"I assure you Rin Tohsaka," Medea replied. "That the one with me is Emiya Shirou."
"Then why can't I see him?" Rin asked.
"The better question would be "Why can't you see her?"," Medea replied causing Rin to laugh again.
"Of all the possible things," Rin said between laughs. "He came back as a girl!"
"Technically, he, or rather she, is not here." another voice said.
The group turned to the source of the voice and saw Zelretch smiling in all his glory. A smile that said bad news to Rin and Emilya.
"Could you Heroes excuse us for a while," Zelretch requested. "I am also quite curious of this phenomenon."
When Zelretch taped his cane, the room changed. They were in standing in what looked like outer space, with a small table and globe behind Zelretch.
"I believe this is your first time entering this plane my apprentice." Zelretch stated. "But you have already had a vision of it, give or take a few more years and you can come and go from here as you please."
Rin scanned the surroundings. As far as her eyes can see, nothing but what looked like the vast space of the universe spread around her. But what caught her eye was a small pink haired girl wearing a cute puffy pink dress with two bows arranged at either side of her skirt.
"No way," Rin said. "Shirou?"
"Hi." the girl waved back before being shot by a [Gandr] that only phased through her. "I missed you too."
"What is the meaning of this Master?" Rin demanded looking at Zelretch. "Why is Emiya Shirou a girl, and whats with the Magical Girl outfit?"
Emilya looked at the outfit she was wearing, and yes, she was now dressed in a cute white and pink dress with ribbons. She tried an [Alteration] spell but for some reason the dress never changed it's appearance.
"Don't blame me," Zelretch smiled.
"Yeah like anyone would believe that." both Rin and Emilya thought.
"Now then," Zelretch said with a serious tone. "Care to explain how you managed to partially cross dimensions Emilya?"
"That's the name you went with?" Rin asked. "Couldn't you think of a better one?"
"It's not like I tried to think of another name." Emilya sighed before answering Zelretch. "I don't know, I remember going to sleep, and then I found myself back in Fuyuki."
"Interesting," Zelretch mused. "Something must still be anchoring you to this world."
"Sakura."
"My sister."
Both Rin and Emilya looked at each other before Rin looked away. There was a brief silence between them.
"You know she searched for you?" Rin said. "She spent all her time after you disappeared looking. Every lead she could find, she and Rider would use her Pegasus to fly to who knows where before coming home disappointed."
"I know." Emilya replied. "Medea told me. But, I'm here now right?"
"Yeah," Rin said. "Welcome back idiot."
The surroundings were once more shifting, and Rin and Emilya were back in her room. Medea and EMIYA were somehow enjoying tea for some reason when they were brought back. Rin once more unable to see Emilya but she can tell that Emilya is also inside the room.
"I'll take you to Sakura," Rin called out. "She'll be happy to know you're okay."
Rin and Emilya left the room, and proceed to another part of the Clocktower. They passed by a girl with long blonde hair styled as large coils. Both she and Rin began arguing before Rin remembered that she needs to go to Sakura.
"We'll settle this in self defense class." Rin said to the blonde girl. "I have urgent things to do."
She hastily moved pass the girl and walked faster than usual before stopping at a door. She knocked twice, and waited for it to be opened. When the door opened Rider was the one who answered. She was wearing a black polo neck top and blue jeans, and a pair of eye-glasses that somehow manage to prevent her [Mystic Eyes] from taking effect.
"Hello Rin-sama," Rider greeted. "Who is this young girl next to you?"
"This is Shirou," Rin gestured at her left even though Emilya was at her right.
"I will go get Master," Medusa said. "Please come in."
Emilya and Rin entered the room. Emilya scanned the place and it was just a simple room. Unlike the rooms of Nobles in Halkegina where it was decorated from top to bottom, this room was a bit of fresh air.
"Nee-san," Sakura called out. "You found him?"
"Well, it's quite complicated." Rin replied.
Emilya looked at Sakura, she looked a lot better than before he presumably died, and was glad that she was okay. Or atleast, she was until Sakura began violently coughing.
"Sakura!" Emilya called out, but only Rider was able to hear her.
She quickly ran to Sakura only for her to phase right through her.
"You're getting worse," Rin said. "It might not be too late to do that ritual to help you."
"Nee-san..."
"Rider help me get her to her bed." Rin commanded.
"Nee-san," Sakura said weakly. "Shirou..."
"Archer!" Rin called out to her connection. "Get Caster here."
Rin and Rider help Sakura lay on her bed, and Archer and Caster materialized in the room.
"Caster," Rin said. "Is there a way for us to see Shirou?"
"I may have such spell." Caster replied. "But I would need a few minutes."
"Do it then."
"Medusa," Caster said. "Help me with this."
Medea and Medusa began to write symbols on the floor around the room. Sakura once again coughing violently this time Rin and Archer are the ones helping her. Once the symbols were done Caster cast the spell.
[Αφήστε τους ζωντανούς να αγγίξουν τους νεκρούς]
She looked at Emilya who was slowly appearing before them.
"Senpai?" Sakura asked weakly.
"I'm here." Emilya said.
"We'll leave you two for now." Rin said as she began to give orders to the Servants to leave the room.
Rin and the rest left the two of them alone. But before parting, Caster said that the spell would only last for about five minutes as it was hastily done.
"Sakura I-"
"Is it really you senpai?" Sakura asked.
"Yeah," Emilya answered. "After the battle, somehow the Grail was able to grant a wish based on yours, Rin's and Illya's wishes."
"I see," Sakura said. "Senpai, I..."
Sakura once more coughed.
"You don't have to force yourself."
"I only have a short time after all." Sakura said.
"Yeah Caster said we only have about five minutes." Emilya stated.
Without another word, Sakura was surrounded by darkness and grabbed Emilya before planting a kiss.
"I'm sorry senpai." Sakura whispered before Emilya lost consciousness and faded.
After a few more minutes, Rin and the Servants entered the room. Sakura was alone, somewhat happy and a bit sad at the same time.
"Did you do it?" Rin asked.
"Yes."
"And what did it cost?"
"Everything."
When Zelretch sent them back, another being appeared by a portal. This time, a girl wearing a sleeveless white dress with tail capes, bracers and gloves that cover only her thumb, with white stockings and boots.
"Greetings fellow traveler," the girl said.
"Hello Lumine," Zelretch greeted back. "What brings you here?"
"My brother has been dimension hoping, and is currently evading me." Lumine answered.
"He is in Teyvat," Zelretch said. "He is currently searching for an artifact in that world."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." Zelretch replied.
As the girl left, Zelretch once more began to look into the world where Emilya was sent to. He saw an excavation being done in the Kingdom known as Gallia. He saw a group discovering a the mast of a Golden Ship buried deep beneath the earth.
"What will you do now Emilya de l'acier de Mailliart now that you are free." Zelretch mused before looking back during the time Emilya was first sent to another world.
When Rin accidentally peered into the Kaleidoscope, by the stroke of luck, she saw Emilya and the world governed by magic. During the time he spent teaching Rin, he noted that at first she wondered why she kept seeing this strange pink haired girl. But when Rin saw Emilya fight Karin, and used [Tracing], she was able to deduce that this girl is Emiya Shirou, and the reason she kept seeing her was because she always had Shirou in her mind.
She excitedly told her sister Sakura, but instead of taking it as good news, instead became the opposite. When Emiya Shirou disappeared, the only thing left were tattered remains of his clothes. But Sakura kept believing that Shirou was alive, and began her search. She pushed her body to the point where she even refused a ritual to help her. During this time, her body was already on the brink of collapse, and she knew she already has very little time left. So she spent the remaining time she had studying a certain brand of Magecraft.
[Memory Alteration]
Normally, such a thing was only done to prevent non-mages from discovering about Magecraft and the Moonlit World. And so, she approached her sister and asked for advice on her plan. At first Rin was against this, as given time, she would be able to pull Shirou back, or send Sakura to were Shirou is. But Sakura insisted that she no longer wants to shackle Shirou to her.
"This girl," Sakura explained. "Is both Senpai and not, I know that Senpai will never let me go as long as he remembers me. One part of me wants to keep Senpai for myself, but another part of me wants her to be happy once I leave for good."
"Sakura," Rin said. "It's not yet too late, we could still do that ritual and help you."
"Nee-san," Sakura replied. "We both know that is a lie, even if we do that ritual, we are only delaying the inevitable. Maybe if we found out earlier, maybe we could have, but fate is not on our side. So if we can at least bring and anchor Senpai here, even for a while, I will erase myself from him, and set him free."
