Chapter 2: When Eyes Meet
It has been a month since Dee started her journey to her womanhood. She was enjoying the results of what the hormones have been doing. "Your simply divine," Dee said looking at her face. Her ivory cream skin looking smooth and unblemished, thin arched brows, and her light pink lips soft as satin. She slowly placed cream all over her face and was impressed with how laser hair removal has taken care of those pesky few hairs. "I've got an hour to get ready for Nazz's party," she said to herself as she started with her makeup. She had been reading many magazines and watched tutorials on how to apply her base and set it. Her rouge the color of coral, her blue star eyes accentuated with a winged cat eye, and her lips the color of fire red. Her midnight colored hair was let loose with beautiful curls. She looked at herself and at the woman she saw on the magazine. "My beauty very much equals jet's I hope," she said smiling at herself. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Oh no they are early," Dee said nervously. It's the first time she will see Ed and Eddy since she started her transition. They both were sent to summer camp the same day Dee started her hormones. She quickly put on her satin orange rob and ran down stairs.
"geez, what's taking sock head so long," Eddy said banging the door louder. "Double D is going to be so happy to see us, like I am when I eat butter toast Eddy," Ed said while eating potato chips. "Sure lumpy if only he hurried up," Eddy said banging louder. "Hey dorks, keep it down I'm trying to work on my motorcycle," a tall, muscled tone, shirtless Kevin said. His body tan from sports and his red cap backwards showing off his red slicked back hair. "How about you mind your business shovel chin," Eddy said. "How about I come over there and...," just as Kevin was about to finish his sentence Dee slowly opened the door. Kevin's green emerald eyes met Dee's sapphire eyes. He felt himself gulping and his heart racing. He had never seen a girl that beautiful before. Dee on the other hand was so shocked to see Kevin but before could say anything Eddy and Ed ran in almost running over her. "Hey Sockhead who is this hot chick in your house," Eddy said raising an eyebrow at her. "Gosh she is as pretty as my comic book collection Eddy," Ed said smiling at her then looking down at the floor from being bashful. "Sockhead where are you, hurry down we got to go to Nazz's party. "Well gentlemen you sure do know how to make a ruckus don't you," Dee said laughing. Eddy and Ed looked at Dee up and down, and then at each other "Double D," they both said shocked. "Yes indeed gentlemen it is I," Dee said walking slowly to them. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you all, but can you please call me Dee," Dee said blushing.
After explaining to the Eds what is going on Eddy lite a cigarette in Dee's backyard. "So your woman now huh Sockhead," Eddy said coldly. "Eddy, please try to..," before Dee could finish Eddy cut her off. "Double.. Dee, this is a lot of information to take I just need time to process everything I mean now your a chick and I'm trying to understand it," Eddy said stomping on his cigarette. "I think it's best we just meet you at the party, just to give me time to process and to explain to Ed." Dee shock her head with a small tear forming from her eye. "Please don't tell anyone yet, I'll use the party to explain. Eddy and Ed both walked out of her house while a star dazed Kevin was looking at her. He waved to her and she gave a small wave back. "Who is this girl, is she double dork's cousin or something," Kevin said to himself "I hope she is going to the party."
Dee cleaned up her eyes before applying her mascara. "I hope we will still stay friends," Dee said to herself. "Breath Dee, breath," she said to herself so she won't get emotional. She quickly put on her orange sweetheart blouse that revealed her bellybutton but hugged her waist and showed off her cleavage that was forming. "I probably a big b from the last time I measured." Dee said hugging her chest. She put on her bell bottom blue jeans and some orange sandals that matched her blouse. She sprayed on a sweet gourmand perfume and looked at herself. "Just stay for an hour then back," she said as she walked out the door.
