New One shot that came to me in American Lit. Hope y'all like it.
"Hey Ginny. I have a question. I've always called you Ginny of Gin, and I've never heard other people call you otherwise." This is the one thing in my life that I've ever had any doubts on. I want to know what Ginny's true name is! "What's your real full name Ginny?" I am absolutely determined to get her name, even if it kills my in the process.
"Wow. I always thought you knew my name. And I suppose you are right, most people call my Ginny. My name is-" The telephone rang. Why they have a phone is beyond me. But I've learned to never question the Weasleys. Especially not Mr. Weasley. I'd get a really loooong explanation.
"Hey 'Mione, Dean said he wants to take me out. So I'm going to go. I'll tell you later, Kay?"
"No wait! But, please-" Too late. She left.
"OH MY GOD!" I must know her name! Or I'll go bloody mad! I guess I'll have to wait…Maybe Ron knows? Of course he would!
"RONALD!"
"WHAT? I already finished the potions essay that Snape assigned for winter break. What more do you want from me?" He asked coming up the steps to my room.
"Wow, you actually did your homework? Anyhow, can you tell my what Ginny's name is?" Please oh please let Ron tell me. I NEED to know!
"You don't know? That's a bit odd. Her name is-"
"Ron! Luna's here!" says Mrs. Weasley.
"Later Hermione!"
NOOOOOO! MY LAST HOPE GONE! DOWN THE DRAIN! Now I'll really go mad!
I've been waiting for hours! The door is creaking open. And it's midnight! Ginny you will be so grounded if your mother catches you!
"GINNY?" I all but scream.
"Shush!" She covers my mouth with her hand and listens for her mother.
"Tell me now! Tell me your name!" I'm practically shaking her. I'm shaking with anxiousness.
"Well…I'm kinda sleepy, but I'll tell you," She says as she crosses the room to her bed. "My name is…." SHE FELL ASLEEP! Now what am I to do? I guess I should give up. I drift to sleep and I don't catch the last thing she says to me.
"My name is---"
