Hello people this is my first story so be nice! Well I wrote this monologue (a speech you make to yourself or to someone else over a telephone or something but the other person you do not hear talking) in drama and my friends said it was good and to put it on here so here it is! Now onto the story!
I should've seen it coming. (Sigh) I mean what man in his right mind would wear a beard that made him look like a chipmunk on crack? Obi-Wan could have at least told me he was… was….GAY! (Pause) Yes Obi-Wan is gay! Well I guess that it sort of explains why I caught him that day wearing womens high heels and swinging around that purse. (Pause)
Why would it matter what color the purse was….. you know what never mind I don't really think I want to know. Okay getting back to the subject. I just thought that it was some bizarre tendency at the time but boy was I wrong. I was just finishing up breakfast in the padawan cafeteria when I saw out of the corner of my eye, Obi-Wan gesturing for me to follow him. Which I of course did happily, thinking that he might have some surprise for me.
But it wasn't the kind of surprise that I thought it would be. As soon as I got outside he told me his exact words were 'Anakin I'm gay.' Talk about putting it gently. To think that I've been living with a gay man all this time and didn't even realize it. So after he told me (pause) what no I didn't give him a hug and say that we would get through this together.
Who do you think I am Oprah? (pause) No I said Oprah not okra (mumbles under breath) idiot! Okay so after he told me I sort of froze up and when I got back to my senses I ran. So know here I am locked in my room.(pause) Well I guess I could except him for who he is (pause) no I'm not going to give him a hug he might get the wrong idea! (pause) What you have to go well fine abandon me in my time of need (slams closed comlink) stupid druid!
Well I hope you liked it! Oh and just so you all know I have nothing against gay people and I love Obi-Wan but I just had to write a story about him being gay so sorry people who love Obi-Wan. Cydney
