Chapter 1: Remote Problem
The city of Townsville! Housing its own fair share of technology; all of which is used for entertainment, building, and most definitely evil. One of the many examples of this would be Mojo Jojo; but ever since he quit his role as villain that title of 'technologically advanced' has been given to a new villain; you may remember him. You know 'him'? He built an evil robot that looks like one of the girls? You know what; let's just get to it...
"S.B. hand me the wrench..." Silico said. His robotic creation came over and handed him a monkey wrench. Using it, he tightened the last bolt of his creation into place. "Perfect... using this new machine in the factory we've constructed, I can begin my new plan for revenge..."
"What is it this time?" She asked; sounding bored.
"This machine here can create robots from old pieces I found from broken down TV's in the junkyard. It may not sound like much, but I can assure you, this will be perfect and all according to plan." He walked over to a large lever off to the side of the machine. "You just pull the lever and the machine will obviously turn on; then that when I insert the broken down pieces. From the inside, this beauty will work its magic. You may not be able to tell just by looking, but those broken pieces are now being put together and given new parts to form a Screenbot." As he said that, about four of them came out, and their bodies made them look like they weren't exactly built for combat. There was a vent like structure just above two small red and yellow lights on their chests, their hands were shaped like pincers, and the TV screens contained angry faces. Their armor was completely white. "They aren't fighters, but I have an idea that I thought of when I went searching for useful items back there."
"Are you gonna inform me? Or..."
"No... the Narrator would probably try to warn the heroes." Even I could I can't. "Well in that case... I'm going to use this Screenbot's TV form and sneak it into the Utoniums' home at night; if I recall correctly, their favorite program plays for twenty-four hours tomorrow; once the family goes to sit and watch the television, they'll be hit with hypnotizing waves from the bot, rendering them completely harmless since they be stuck in that exact location! The only way this could go wrong is if one of them just doesn't seem to be in the mood for 'channel surfing'..."
"Oh lord..." Silicon Bubbles complained to herself.
"I suggest we start now judging by how late it is." He suddenly turned his attention to the other bots. "You there!" The Screenbot to the left pointed to itself as if to say 'me'? "Yes you, transform into your TV disguise. By retracting its limbs and curving its chest onto its backside, also hiding its face, it became the design of your usual and generic flat-screen TV. "Brilliant, the transformation process works perfectly. S.B., get into their home and replace the TV, don't destroy theirs', just leave this note here on the face of the Screenbot." He gave her a note that read: 'We're terribly sorry, but we've realized you TV was acting up so we took it upon ourselves to give it some maintenance. It should be back after a week. ~Townsville TV repairs.' S.B. popped out her her jetpack and flew up out of the ceiling. "I probably should've told her to be less... reckless." He said to himself.
*Outside in the suburbs*
S.B. landed in front of the home and gently opened the door to prevent 'waking the living'. As she entered the living room she spotted the current television. She moved towards it and unplugged every single cord imaginable, replacing the now unplugged television with the disguised robot. "Sweet dreams... freaks." She then jetted out back to the factory with the original in tow. "This is gonna end badly won't it?"
*Next day!*
The girls flew downstairs as their favorite program was about to start.
"Oh boy! I can't wait for this!" Buttercup said ecstatically.
"Oh, hello you three, you're up pretty early aren't 'cha?" The Professor asked.
"Of course we'd be! Besides, you promised you'd watch with us!"
"You did say that Professor." Blossom added.
"Yes, I remember. I know how much you waited for this show to come on." He noticed the blue one was missing. "Uh... where's Bubbles?"
"Oh. She went out to introduce Blitz to Bunny."
"Won't she miss the film though?"
"Relax, we promised we'd tell her what happened." Buttercup said.
"Well... alright, oh by the way, apparently the repair people came in overnight and found a problem in our old tv. They supplied us with this one; so best of luck to this I guess." So the family (3/4's of it at least) all sat down and reached for the remote...
*Out in Townsville Park*
As Blossom had said, Bubbles was out with the other two Powerpuff Girls whose colors were nearly related to purple. They were sharing their current backstories.
"You're saying you made Bunny?" Blitz asked.
"Mhm! Though... I never look back at that day with a smile... she helped us and perished. But when Matter came and brought her back, it was the greatest possible day of my life!" Bubbles told her.
*Some time later...*
"What's an Xtreme?" Bunny asked.
"Counterfeit Powerpuff Girls made by a bad man called Dick Hardly. He was using our design for financial gain; we eventually had to put a stop to him, but he beat us by ordering them to attack us... we had our Chemical X drained; and during that same day, Dick Hardly and all the other Xtremes except for Blitz here, died that day. When we woke up, we found ourselves in the Professor's arms."
"I came out of hiding, by the time their chimp friend took over... Townsville was awfully scary and apocalyptic, and not one person would help me because I looked like some sort of mistake." Blitz said. "I guess some people here forgot about those events when the girls disappeared."
"Well... I'm glad we were all able to share some history with each other; doesn't it feel better to get some sad stuff off your chest?"
"Yeah..." The other two admitted.
"But... I don't remember my past... only you, your sisters, and the Professor do Bubbles." Bunny told her.
"Oh... right..." Bubbles played with her pigtail before continuing. "Well... I'm gonna head back home, see you soon?"
"Mhm." Said Bunny.
"Sure." Said Blitz.
"Nice! Bye!" Bubbles then flew off leaving a bright blue trail behind her.
*At the Utoniums' home*
"Girls! Professor! I'm..." She paused when she saw the latter staring off into space. "Hm?" She approached the three and made the connection to their TV. "They're looking at the screen? But it's just static..." The unsuspecting Powerpuff Girl went around behind the television and realized something was off. There were no cords connected, in fact, they were laying on the floor. "What?" She looked at the back of the TV again and noticed there were no sockets. "But how does it... wait a second..." She used her x-ray vision and saw a small thing inside of it facing her family, it looked like it was emitting strange waves. It also had a big, green, jagged 'S' on it. Her emotion started to shift to angry. "Silico..." She said to herself. Preparing a punch, she tried to destroy the TV, but some sort of force pushed her back slightly. She then tried using her lasers and they simply vanished on impact. "Of course he was prepared... I gotta get some help!" She flew out of the room without looking towards the screen. As she left, The Professor was starting to drool.
*At the old factory*
Blitz was sitting in a chair reading something, she looked up when she heard a knock at the door. "Hold on! I got it!" She flew over and saw Bubbles. "Oh... I uh... didn't think you'd be back so soon..."
"Save it! Have I ever told you about Silico?" Bubbles asked.
"The name sounds familiar..."
"He's a silhouette of a man with a robot that looks like me? Green eyes?"
"Oh! Him!? What's he up to now?"
"He's using this strange TV to hypnotize my sisters and prevent them from stopping him! Lucky for me I was out with you and Bunny, so I wasn't affected."
"You came to ask me to help you, and I'm also assuming you want Bunny's help as well?"
"Yep, that's pretty much it."
"Well in that case, count me in friend!
"C'mon! We have a villain to stop!"
*Matter's home*
Bubbles knocks on the door and Matter answers as usual.
"Ah Bubbles! It's been a while hasn't it?"
"Is Bunny home? We're gonna stop Silico from doing whatever evil plan he's readying!"
"Of course she is. Why? She doesn't sneak out or anything does she?"
"No she doesn't, but can you tell her Townsville's in danger?"
"Sure." He closes the door and murmuring could be heard, Bunny exited with Matter looking over her shoulder. "Show that evil scientist a thing or two about what you do when you mess with the good guys."
"We will. C'mon everyone!" And so the three heroes shot off into the sky, leaving beautiful cold colored trails.
*Over at Silico's factory*
"I'm picking up readings on your tracking system, three people with energy signatures similar to our enemies are headed this way!" S.B. told Silico.
"Huh? Get a better reading, I wanna see what we're up against here."
A small flying camera drone flew outside the factory and examined the area; using its super scope, it was able to detect the heroes from far away. In the camera's feed, the villains saw Bubbles, Blitz, and Bunny flying straight towards the factory.
"Shoot! We missed Bubbles!" He paused for a moment. "But it doesn't exactly matter... for I've perfected the design for a fighting-fit Screenbot. Once they get to our main room, which is this very room, we'll ambush them with this endless supply... well our seemingly endless supply, of Screenbots! The creation machine is powered by an unstoppable forcefield, meaning things can only go out, not go in! They'll be overwhelmed easily... and I will have finally won! I can practically already see it happening..."
*Outside*
"Well... this is it, and Silico is not one to pull punches..." Bubbles said.
"I thought you said he had his robots do the fighting for him." Blitz reminded her.
"Oh... right... you know I've always wondered why he always did that. Is it because he's one of those villains?" Pretty much.
"We're still gonna stop him though; right Bubbles?" Bunny asked.
"Of course we will; cause we're Powerpuff Girls! Now let's do this!"
"Yeah!" The other two shouted.
"Now... how do we open this door?"
"Bubbles..." Blitz said; sounding unimpressed.
"Hm?"
"We have super-strength. Just let me do it!" Blitz came up to the door and tore it straight off its hinges. "That wasn't so hard."
"And to think Silico would've done something about that..."
"Wait... that's why you didn't pull it off? Actually nevermind, lead the way Bubbles!"
"Thank you Blitz." All three heroes then entered Silico's lair.
