Piece of love

I have always imagined,

Something changing in the tomorrows.

It's as if I can sense it,

How I've waited for you, in a mirage.

Soon after I see you,

You steal my heartbeats.

The thumping grows louder,

You drown them out when you speak.

In my infinite thoughts of you,

We'll watch the world end together.

I'm always present,

When you're running away,

So near, I can feel the air of your love.

It awakens the memory,

Of a long past forgotten love.

You're missing that piece of your soul,

So I'll help you find it

Someday I'll go away,

But it won't be forever.

I'll wish to see you again,

And give you that piece I've retrieved,

Your piece of love.
