It had all started when a force ghost showed up at Luke's quarters at the rebel base a year after the events on the second Death Star and on Endor, and the deaths of Emperor and Vader bringing about the beginning of the end of the Empire. Luke didn't know he who was or how the ghost knew who he was and how he knew so much about him,Leia, his mother, his father Anakin Skywalker ( formerly known as Vader) , Ben and of course Owen .

He had just appeared one day of the blue and told Luke that were things that he and Leia didn't know about their real father, things that Ben and Owen had kept hidden from both Luke and his sister both themselves and about Vader's true Identity, and that the man that Luke had given a Jedi burial on Endor was not Anakin Skywalker! and that he and Leia were not the only twins in the Skywalker bloodline.

Luke had asked the strange force ghost how he knew all this and the ghost replied that he knew true story of what had happened Over 20 years ago and what had happened between Vader ,Ben and Owen because he had raised and trained all three as Jedi Knights and watched from the depths of force unable to help as Ben and Owen had tried to keep Vader from his slide into the dark side and he had seen Ben and Owen's pain , anger and devastation when they had discovered what Vader done at the Jedi temple.

Only the ghost didn't refer to the them as Ben, Owen and Vader when he revealed all this too Luke he refer to them as Obi wan Kenobi , Anakin Skywalker and Kyran Skywalker (the Chosen one) and the strange force ghost also revealed that Obi wan and Anakin had both generals during the clone wars right up until their disappearance during the height of the Jedi purge know as order 66

and formation of the Sith Empire, and that their last known location before they disappeared had been Mustafar.

Luke had shown the force ghost the notebooks and journals that he had found at the hut on Tatoonie in a effort to prove that he already knew truth about his father Anakin Skywalker and what had happened to him on Mustafar and how the fight between him ,Ben and Owen had end with Ben and Owen crippling him and leaving him to burn on the bank of lava river on Mustafar.

But the ghost had just shook his head sadly and said " thats only half the story Luke and it wasn't Anakin Skywalker who was injured and left to die on Mustafar and it was no coincidence that Kyran, Obi wan and Anakin all disappeared on Mustafar that day nor is it a coincidence that only Vader returned that day, did you never wonder why Anakin and Obi wan were on Tatoonie Luke ? and why Obi wan and Anakin knew so much about Vader Luke? or why they never told you about Kyran? or why wanted Vader them dead?" the ghost said.

Then the ghost added " I can show you truth Luke not just about who you real parents were but about Ben and Owen too but you have want it Luke ,you have be open to the truth about your past and fathers past and how the Emperor used and twisted your father into the monster that was Vader!,and how Vader used his twin brothers identity to fool the galaxy! for over 20 years."

the ghost told him.

That was how Luke Skywalker had ended up nearly 40 years in the past heading for Tatoonie with a force ghost and two Jedi who couldn't see or sense him due to the force masking his force signiture and physical presence them and one whom looked like a younger and very much a live version of the force of his time, the other who looked like younger and lighter in the force Ben!.
