Last Chapter…
Goh was loudly bragging while on the field in the background. "Hah! You represent my region which seems so pitiful under you as its champion? All your Pokémon is doing is being assaulted and suffering harm! I swore to you that I would win this competition from you amateurs!" Kanto natives started booing him vociferously, and a chant started. "Red, Red, Red, Red, Red!" To quiet the gathering, Ash waved his hand in front of them.
Ash spoke gently. "Goh, tell me something. You appear to have a lot of faith in your own abilities—is that accurate?"
Goh chuckled. "Well, yeah. You're currently doing nothing but sucking! You are a true hero! You don't even have the guts to counter the attacks of my Pokémon! Check your Typhlosion out! He is equally worthless as you are! To win, you must increase your stats. How does it feel to be finally brought low?"
Everyone was shocked to hear someone speak to the champion in such a disrespectful manner, even going so far as to insult them severely. The crowd was ready for Red to explode up. But to everyone's surprise, Red began to giggle. He laughed while wiping an imaginary tear from his eye. Goh hissed. "Hey! Why is this so funny?"
Red grinned. "Ah, only you! You genuinely believe you are winning this battle? Hah! That's wonderful!" The audience started to stare at one another in astonishment since, indeed, Goh was in the lead right now.
Goh chuckled. "Oh, right? What specific way is things not going as planned?"
Red was grinning. "You will see! Typhlosion, Sunny Day!" Typhlosion used Sunny Day and the room became much brighter as a result of the Sunny Day move. Balziken gradually stood up and Goh looked at that and he was laughing hard on seeing the move "Don't tell me you think Fire type moves will win the match? You are pathetic if you think that!" and Red replied "When did I say that?"
Goh's eyes widened in terror as Typhlosion exclaimed, "Typhlooosion!" Red chuckled. He spoke loudly, his voice dripping with disdain, "Don't tell me you've forgotten about Solar Beam... such a hotshot like you couldn't possibly forget a popular move like that one."
"Typhlosion, maybe we should demonstrate some of our strength to them, huh?" Ash spoke in a singing-song manner. Goh, though, yelled in agony. "Crunch!" With darkened jaws, Suicune growled and leaped forward. Ash yelled out while grinning. "Solar beam!"
Suicune was running toward the Grass type when Typhlosion yelled and shot a huge beam from its arms that totally encompassed it. Suicune didn't seem to be hurt, but the beam significantly slowed him down. Suicune slowed down as it encountered Typhlosion, then lost focus when it encountered Crunch, finally collapsing.
The audience was stunned. They exhaled in shock as they turned to face Typhlosion. "Typhlooosion!" He gave a loud roar and raised his arms, showing that he was almost fully recovered. At this, some of the native Kantos cheered enthusiastically while others were stunned. How could Red have just done that?
It's actually very easy. Red made a noise. "Suicune would lose the majority of its health not solely by Solar Beam as it is a two turn move that needs charging and even after charging, it can be used for some time before needing to be charged again, however when powered by Sunny Day, it can be instantaneous and when used for a long time, it can do a lot of damage." Suicune, who was slowly rising, was pointed out by him.
Goh mumbled, still surprised by how swiftly the tides had altered. "But, how did you know what to do? "
Ash grinned slightly icily. "Typhlosion knew the move Solar Bem which is a good counter, Work Up which increases Special Attack and Solar Beam. Now, the other move Typhlosion could use is Fire Blast wich can be less accurate at times and is resisted by Suicune." His eyes widened. Now that everything made sense, he understood how badly the Champion had misled him.
"You continued to use Work Up and let my attacks land for that reason. With Work Up, Solar Beam, and your final special move, which causes my Pokemon's health to decrease, you kept building up the power for your special attack." He accused, startled.
Koga whispered something else to the group as Ash responded. "To make matters worse for Goh, he's overlooking one more thing: Suicune won't be able to dodge after a blow like that, and he most definitely can't overwhelm Typhlosion... especially now that..."
"You're forgetting one thing: Your Pokémon is too weak to dodge now that Fire Blast's power has almost doubled!" With a smile, Ash said. Before Goh could call for Suicune to move, his eyes widened in astonishment and horror. Ash yelled, "Fire Blast!" while swiping his hand horizontally. Typhlosion released a huge wave of fire that completely engulfed the water type, who yelled out in agony, and increased its power thanks to Sunny Day and a tonne of other special attacks. The move's overwhelming power rendered the crowd blind, and they responded by covering their eyes.
Nobody really required the referee to know the outcome when the move was over. "Typhlosion prevails because Suicune is unable to fight! Red so prevails in this conflict!" As the crowd cheered loudly, Typhlosion and Ash raised their arms in the air to declare their victories. Goh was simply staring at them in a state of disbelief. How could he have fallen so far? He only had to strike Typhlosion once more, and the battle would have over.
The cheers for Red didn't stop. Goh had no idea that the struggle he had just had with Red was a tiny fraction of the power Red truly possessed. Red could have simply smacked the young trainer away if he had actually felt frightened by him. He wasn't yet ready to demonstrate that strength. There were a lot of traitors to eliminate. Goh was just the start.
They would all be subject to his fury.
"Thank you so lot for the fantastic fight, Typhlosion. Now go rest." Goh appeared to be stunned in shock following his loss as Ash put his trusty fire type back in its pokeball. Suicune was still unconscious and lying on the field of combat. Red walked up to him and grinned. Goh regarded Red while grinning at him.
"Hah! You are not unique. I would have easily prevailed if my Suicune weren't so weak!" He laughed and disregarded the extended hand.
Red answered. "You do not deserve to be the Pokémon's trainer if you genuinely think that it is your Pokémon's fault. Your Pokémon gave it all it had in the battle, didn't give up until the the end, and put its life in your hands. Do you intend to continue holding Suicune responsible for your own foolishness?"
Sincerely, Ash had hoped that Goh would retract his remarks and apologise. He did, in fact. He believed that Goh would change his ways. That wasn't the situation. He handed out Suicune's pokeball for Ash to see while holding it in his hands. "How about THAT for adamant?" He screamed. He hurled the pokeball on the ground in a single motion, and then, to everyone's surprise, he crushed it with his foot.
Whoa, Goh, what was he thinking? Red, who appeared to be prepared to kill the young child for what he had just done, was holding Goh up in the air. Goh, in contrast, was once again in a rage as he regarded the man who appeared prepared for drastic measures. Red whispered his words. "Goh, you'll come to regret that choice. Before you confront me, you'd better pray you lose this tournament. because if you do reach me, you'll suffer."
Goh was then thrown to the ground by Red, who fled from him in haste. Red spat. "You are the kind of person that poisons the atmosphere around us. You are merely a disease that spreads through everything you touch, and you are a walking disease at that." Ash yelled loudly as two men approached Red wearing black suits. "Remove this man from the area. I can't arrest you because there's no evidence that you hurt Suicune, but I won't let you stay here any longer."
Both of the guards, one on each arm, were supporting Goh. Red approached Goh's face extremely closely and whispered. Red gestured with his hand for the guards to remove Goh, who was ranting about "The barbariac deeds" of Kanto and how they treat its residents, saying, "You will pay for what you've done. From now on... we are enemies. Do not forget it." Now, as they watched Ash approach the still-falling Suicune, the guests were whispering softly.
He knelt down and stroked the head of the water type. It could not move yet, but it stared up at him feebly. The audience was silent as they watched the event in front of them, including his own elites. Ash made a low sound. "Suicune, your own trainer just left you and destroyed your Pokeball."
Suicune remained still, but as tears were about to fall, a faint sheen appeared in its eyes. Ash re-spoke. "Suicune, you're definitely hurt, and I want to make you better. However, I must first capture you in order to bring you to the Pokémon centre located here on Indigo Plateau. I won't, though, until you give me permission to. I sincerely care for every Pokémon's feelings, in contrast to how your last trainer felt about you, so I won't make you do anything you don't want to. You have my word on this." He extended a pokeball while keeping a cool head and observing the Suicune. After the Suicune stopped threatening to cry, it looked at him for a bit and nodded its head in agreement to be captured for the time being.
A red light appeared when Ash gently pressed the pokeball against Suicune's head, sucking it inside the thing. In the Champion's hand, it trembled three times before ceasing. Then it flashed white to announce its capture. He wanted to stop people like Goh because they gave him the stomach flu. His four elites were waiting for his next order as he pushed himself to his feet and moved to the sidelines.
To them, Ash spoke. "It is time to go. We'll have a discussion in the Pokémon Center because we have a lot to cover. I'll locate Lt. Surge and inform him that Blaine and him are in charge of the remainder of the party. The head of security will be informed that they must also pay close attention to the two of them. It needs to be ensured that nothing spirals out of control once more."
Paul popped his head back inside the room when the door to the space suddenly opened. To Ash, he spoke. "Although I believe Suicune is doing better, something about him still looks odd. Ash, I believe it's better if you see him for yourself, just in case." Ash remarked to his elite with dark hair while nodding. "You are right. I'll be there right away." He spoke after briefly turning to face him increasingly large gathering of elites. "We are now aware of the Traitors' adversaries. The adversary is in our path. We must be prepared for the impending release of the bracket." He let his elites continue their conversation as he left the room.
Nurse Joy greeted Ash outside Suicune's room. He asked the woman with the pink hair as calmly as he could. "How is Suicune doing, Nurse Joy?"
Nurse Joy grinned at the champion. This Pokémon was "Technically" his at the time, yet he still had the manners to worry for it as if it actually belonged to him. Naturally, Nurse Joy was unaware of the extent of Ash's concern for each Pokémon. He didn't just love Suicune; he had a special affection for all the Pokémon.
"Red, Suicune is doing nicely. Do you want to go see him?" Ash answered. "Indeed, I would."
Suicune was lying on a plush bed in the centre of the room as he opened the door. The actual bed was elevated by a few feet. But something was undoubtedly bothering him. Ash sat down next to him and started speaking. " Hello, how are you doing?" Ash scowled a little and made the decision to come up with another line of dialogue when Suicune didn't even give him a glance.
"Would you like to eat something? You can always rely on me to get stuff." When he noticed that Suicune was still not looking his way, he stumbled. Speaking from behind him was Nurse Joy. "Your elite is for sure You heard Paul talking to you about a Suicune issue. He was referring to the fact that Suicune hasn't been acting normally. Paul claimed that it ought to be competing to emerge and get stronger, but this Suicune isn't acting like way. I'm not really sure why this is, and I'm not sure what to say to you about it."
Ash was aware of Suicune's problem. While it was fine that neither Nurse Joy nor Paul truly knew the truth about it, Ash did, and this knowledge gave him an idea. He then turned to face the nurse.
"Would you kindly grant Suicune and I some privacy? I want to speak with it privately." After a brief pause, she gently nodded while wearing a faint smile, then walked out of the room while shutting the curtains. Suicune was still seated on the bed and was not looking at Ash. "May I have a seat?" The water type was addressed by Ash. He took the initiative and sat down close to the upset Pokémon when Suicune remained silent.
"You're not angry with Goh for leaving you. Is that why you're upset—because you think you won't be good enough for any trainer?" Suicune raised its head to gaze at Ash for the first time since he had entered the space. Its surprise could be seen in its eyes. Ash gave it a smile. "I understand how you feel," he said.
With a snort, Suicune appeared not to believe him. Ash muttered while raising his gaze to the ceiling. "Honest. I was training his Pokémon to compete in a Pokémon league before I won the champion title. Despite my best efforts to prepare, I always appeared to come up just short—except for two occasions. But nevertheless... I never surrendered! After all, he had dreamt about it as a step to his main aspiration."
As Ash spoke, Suicune cast a curious glance in his direction. "However, the individuals I used to call my friends advised me to give up on my main aspiration. When I rejected their attempts to kill me, they betrayed me." That caused Suicune's eyes to slightly widen. Ash made a small smile. "Yes, they currently believe I is dead. Even though I was believed to be dead, I could not give up on his dream! I intend to become a Pokemon Master."
Ash finished speaking as Suicune remained silent. "Suicune, I was deceived by your previous trainer. Goh, one of my old acquaintances, tried to convince me to give up on his aspirations. That occurred quite some time ago." Suicune was in disbelief as he stared at the trainer in front of it; had his previous trainer betrayed the companion of the Kanto champion? Why?
Prior to pulling out Suicune's pokeball and setting it in front of Suicune, Ash stood up and gave the electric type one more glance. "I'm trying to communicate to you, Suicune, that some people are just cruel. The same trainer affected both my partner and you. I know how powerful and devoted you are, so if he can still dream and act, so can you. Remember that always." He turned and left the space. When he heard it, he was barely a foot or so from from the door
"Sui!" When Ash turned around, he saw see Suicune posing for a picture in front of its pokeball. Ash approached the water type and approached eye level. The Pokémon gave Ash a cheerful nudge as he returned the pokeball. "Sui! Sui-cune!" Ash smiled while speaking gently. "I would have assumed you wanted to stay with me if I didn't know any better. Am I correct?"
Suicune smirked and issued a positive bark. Ash chuckled and remarked. "Are you prepared to warn the nerd off of us?" Suicune approved by licking Ash's face and barking. Ash grinned and patted Suicune's head as he laughed. Goh wouldn't have known what had hit him. Ash then left the room and he saw Misty standing and looking with concern.
Misty said "I knew Max betrayed you and me but I did not know Max has turned to be so bad in character but back when we traveled in Kanto for me to reach Cerulean City, Max seeme like a good person when I talked with him. It looks like people can change for the worse and Max behaves even worser than how Paul behaved." Ash nodded.
"Misty, Max and May both have changed for the worse. Mythical Pokemons like Jirachi and Manaphy trusted them but still they have turned out to be bad in character. Jirachi would anyways sleep for a thousand years and would not witness Max. However, I hope Manaphy does not go to a trainer like May as I do not trust her to treat Manaphy well due to how she treated me." Misty knew Ash was making sense.
"Ash, Manaphy could sense May's intentions and so may not go to May even if Manaphy called May as Mama as Manaphy is a Mythical Pokemon. We need to deal with the traitors and give them revenge. I will help you in your quest for revenge." Ash smiled on hearing that.
"It is nice to have someone like you who would support me no matter what as we both are partners. I love being in a relationship with you as you are so beautiful on the outside as well as inside. Yes, thanks for being in my quest to give revenge to the traitors." Misty smiled and nodded. Ash then released Suicune.
"Suicune, this is my companion, Misty." Suicune smiled at Ash and Misty also smiled and waved his hand at Suicune. Suicune then said "Sui!" happily. Misty then petted Suicune and Suicune felt happy. Ash then returned Suicune to the Pokeball.
"Looks like Suicune also likes you as well as me." Ash nodded on hearing that.
"Ash, let us go and look at the starry sky of Alola." Misty suggested.
"Fine with me." Ash said.
Ash and Misty walked to the balcony and they viewed the buzzling metropolis that was Indigo Plateau and the many stars that were there in the sky. A cool breeze then blew and Ash and Misty smiled as they felt the cool breeze on their skin. Ash and Misty continued to look at the night sky for some time.
Ash then looked at Misty's face and her slim curvy body and blushed. Ash loved looking at her body every time even though they were in a relationship for some time. Misty then looked at Ash's body and then Ash and Misty saw that they were looking at each other and blushed at each other.
"Misty, no matter how many times I look at you, I still find you beautiful and I am not bored of looking at you!" Ash smiled and said.
"I also find you to be handsome and you have a nice muscular body and I love looking at you and I never have become bored of looking at you!" Misty smiled and said.
Ash smiled and said "Misty, I am sure you will do well in the Pokemon World Tournament. You have shown that you are excellent in battling to me and so I am confident that you would do well." Misty then said "Thanks! You also will do well in Pokemon World Tournament." Ash then said "You are welcome and Thank You for your words." and Misty smiled and said "You are welcome!"
Ash and Misty then looked at the starry sky for some time, happy to be with each other and Ash put his arm around Misty's waist holding her nearer to him and Misty put her arm around Ash's shoulder and they continued to look at the starry night sky.
Present…
Ash moved as quickly as he could through the hallways of the Pokémon league. Typically, it wasn't for a compelling cause. But things were different now. The champions would all be waiting for him there to talk about the tournament's start and how it would go down. After what had happened earlier, he understood it was prudent to not allow them to make a significant choice without his participation, thus this was required.
After looking for the rarely used private conference room for a minute, he finally located it to his right. Every champion in the room, including Mr. Goodshow, turned to look at him as he blasted open the doors and stormed inside. The very same man said to Red while radiating a dazzling smile. "Ah! Mr. Red, there you are! Permit me to be the first to compliment your location on its beauty. I don't know how you managed to get this area so flawless!"
Geeta spoke up with joy. "I had the opportunity to explore this island known as Indigo Plateau, and I was really amazed! It was outstanding."
The other champions nodded their heads in accord, including Cynthia, who was grinning slyly. With his palm, Mr. Goodshow put an end to the talk. "I think it's time to start talking about how we're going to start this fair competition. Obviously, the KBS, or Kanto Battle Stadium, will host the opening conflict. The tricky part is deciding who will leave first, how we'll let people know, and any other details we would need to carry this out."
Red spoke subduedly. "Why not choose two trainers at random to compete like we normally do?"
The head-shaking Mr. Goodshow did. "I'm sorry, Red. At least according to estimates, this year's ratings are the highest ever. To live up to everyone watching out there's expectations, we must create a major splash. Therefore, we need to think of a creative way to draw attention to ourselves that isn't the typical tournament opening battle. I want to hear your thoughts, which is why I'm speaking with you all."
Before Cynthia spoke, there was some brief silence in the room. "How about a first battle with only the two of us champions?"
Mr. Goodshow stopped the loud murmuring that had started in the room. "Not taking place. There will be viewers of this tournament from every continent. If their preferred champion is eliminated too soon, we will suffer both now and in the future in terms of ratings and interest. What do we have left?"
Again, nothing was said. The next speaker was Diantha. "What if the first match was an exhibition match between the two best trainers who aren't part of the Pokémon League?" Mr. Goodshow answered right away. "Too basic. We require something exceptional, extraordinary, or something that will help us enter the competition. It may be something that occurs before the battle, rather than the actual battle itself."
Iris made a low-pitched muttering. Steven cast a keen glance at the champion with the dark hair. " Iris, what was that?"
He used a low voice. " This suggests that you want to go all out." Cynthia suddenly let out a startled gasp. "That's it, then! We can dance together!" Iris sighed loudly, and so did the male Champions. Green made a public remark. " I would never vote for that." Leon snorted. "On that, I concur with you." While Mr. Goodshow screamed, the other champs spoke up. "I've had enough! We're going to vote now. Your vote, Steven the champion?"
Steven looked thoughtful as he shrugged his shoulders and lightly brushed his chin with his thumb and index finger. "To be honest I think that with the time constraints, this might be the best plan we can come up with. I say yes." Lance looked twice. "Huh? You can't be serious, Steven!" Goodshow made a declaration. "One in favour and none opposed. Champion Iris?"
Iris said something " In all honesty, I'd prefer not."
"Now, Champion Cynthia, is it one for each?" She answered as had anticipated. "Oh my my, I cannot wait! How will I dress? Although I've always wanted to wear my white dress, would my light blue dress look better instead? Oh, I'm not sure." The yelled Mr. Goodshow. "Cynthia, champion!" She noticed how many people were looking at her at once and immediately blushed. She muttered. "I say, Yes."
Mr. Goodshow said to the group: "So, two votes in favour and one against. Green, the Champion is up next." Green gestured as though it were evident by waving her hand in the air. " In a million years, no." Cynthia gave her an angry look before 'humping' aloud and walking away. "Two for each. Diantha?" Diantha spoke up with joy. "I think I'll support this dance," you said. Mr. Goodshow nodded and counted the third affirmative. He started up again. "Red?" whispered Ash. "No."
What do you say, Leon? He responded, "No. Lack of interest. Given the fierce competition, I would choose to train my Pokemon to become stronger. After then, Goodshow enquired, "How about you, Geeta?" and she replied, "Yes, I back this!"
Everyone looked at Lillie who was the kingmaker due to her vote being the one that decides. Misty and Lance were worried that Lillie would support the dance and Lillie looked nervous due to everyone looking at her. Lillie then said "I vote in favour of the dance."
From the table, a chorus of cries could be heard. While Misty and Lance sprang out of their seats, Cynthia and Diantha rejoiced, Iris sighed loudly, while Steven, Leon, and Geeta chuckled at everyone's antics. Lance gasped. "However, sir! We cannot reasonably dance for the general public, can we? You cannot do that, please!" Mr. Goodshow was silent once more before he exclaimed with joy. "I have the answer to that!"
To try to settle her worries, Misty drank some water. How could things possibly be worse? Goodshow made a declaration. "Get the word out to all of your gym leaders and elites! Five days from today is when the dance will be held! I'll let everyone know where it is! The dance also requires that you bring a date!" He concluded with a broad grin. While coughing as if her life depended on it, Misty spat her water all over the table.
Why was he believing that? What date? Mr. Goodshow laughed as he observed the normally composed Red acting so agitated. "A date, yes Red."
Three days later…
Ash was certain that he would curse Cynthia into oblivion. He had no idea how she had managed to organise this and garner enough backing. He was currently staring at a closet inside his chamber within the Pokémon league. He was morosely glancing at the array of garments in front of him. As much as everyone else wanted this event to happen, Ash couldn't believe it received enough support to go ahead.
He took a quick halt and looked at a strange attire that seemed to be beckoning to him. He looked at it with genuine curiosity. He took it from the closet and looked at it for a moment. The suit was black with a white handkerchief tucked inside. It also came with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie. The black pants also made an appearance. He said aloud as he finished scrutinising the garments.
"You don't like it?"
A figure entered the room gently, her dark hair covering a portion of her head. She laughed. "You could not only tell where I was, but you could also tell what I was thinking... It's impressive how you do what you do."
Ash kept appreciating the suit. "So that's a no?"
Sabrina pulled the suit from his grasp and returned it to the closet. She said nothing but handed him another clothing, which perplexed Ash. It was a dark blue suit with a white handkerchief, similar to the previous, but the collar was pulled up, covering the back of his neck. His slightly darker blue jeans complemented his shirt perfectly. Finally, the look was completed with a somewhat silver tie that seemed to bring everything together. Ash gently whistled. "I had no idea you had such wonderful taste..."
She spoke gently and smiled to herself the most. "I'm taking Lance."
Ash didn't look at her or say anything. He was silent for a time before speaking, a little emotion pouring out. "Sabrina , I hope you know what you're doing. Don't forget that he did abandon you. I'm not going to try to stop you since you've evolved into a fearless trainer." She laughed softly, which was unusual for the pink-haired elite.
"I am Sabrina and I am ruthless, and he knows that if he does anything stupid like he did previously, I will bury him." Ash moved his head. "If you treated everyone the same way you treated us and him, you wouldn't be considered as ruthless..." Ash chuckled as he placed the blue suit on a nearby free hook for easy access. Sabrina was considered by others to be ruthless as she was aggressive in her battle tactics.
Before, Sabrina used to be ruthless to anyone, however, Ash helped Sabrina to not be ruthless to other people usually and she was grateful for that as her personality which were separated into two with one half in a doll that was kind and another in her that was ruthless were merged together. So Sabrina nowadays shows her ruthlessness in battle and occasionally to people who deserve her ruthlessness.
Sabrina whispered quietly as she smiled at Ash. "You are not mistaken... Don't worry, Lance will discover how ruthless I can be if he attempts anything." She quickly exited the room after making that statement. Ash took a brief minute to observe her before returning to his work. His thoughts returned to the reason he was shopping for a decent suit...
Later...
Ash ended up standing in the Pokémon Center for that reason, although that wasn't the reason he had ended up there. He was formally taking Suicune from Nurse Joy's care and the Pokémon Center. As his newest Pokémon rubbed against him, he grinned. Nurse Joy, who had a smile on her face as she watched the entire conversation, stated as Ash grinned.
"I felt something had changed since you had gone in to see it, and I'm so delighted to see everything work out between the two of you! That Suicune there seemed nearly determined to make it out of here!"
Ash continued to stare at Suicune while grinning and spoke. "Yup! I have no doubt Suicune will dominate this match, especially when we complete our special preparation." The Water type agreed, barking. They were unaware that a pair of startled eyes were gazing at them with fear in their minds. Ash smiled as he handed Suicune back to Nurse Joy and expressed his gratitude.
"I'm so grateful to you, Nurse Joy! I owe you money." The nurse chuckled while shaking her head. "Please support! If anyone owes you anything, it's me. You created this area from scratch. You, Red have everything we owe you." Ash said with a smile. "We appreciate your service, Nurse Joy," She said joyfully while bowing. "And thanks from mine to yours." Ash then went out of the room while turning on his heel.
"Misty, I need your assistance with something. Do I really need to add that you have complete control and the choice to decline if you so choose?" Slowly nodding, Misty wondered where Ash was heading.
He spoke after clearing his throat. "I learned that there is now a unique method for choosing who will engage in the initial battle of this event. Gym Leaders, Elites, and Champions are invited to a dance that is now taking place. Everyone is required to have a date, which is the only catch. As it happens, I am accessible." He exhaled deeply before speaking as clearly as he could.
"Misty, would you do me the highest honour by accompanying me to the dance?" When Misty heard this, she simply grinned. She wanted to dance with Ash because he knew there would be a dance. She was daydreaming about how their dance would go and was certain that she would wear the greatest attire.
For a brief period, she remained silent as she considered Ash. Ash, on the other hand, was drenched with sweat. It was a very long shot to try this. In any case, he didn't really want to go to the dance with anyone else.
He started to lose hope, though, as the seconds stretched into minutes, and he lost hope with each passing second. He spoke quickly after a whole three minutes of eerie silence. "Maybe I shouldn't have asked you, Misty. I'm sorry. I'll see you later." The red-haired girl interrupted her as he was going to leave her.
"I desire I could accompany you, Ash."
Ash paused, uncertain of his understanding of what was said. She caught his attention with an unreadable expression on her face. He was surprised, and it came through in his voice. "Did you just say you would go?" Misty said quietly while nodding. "Greetings, Ash. I'm powerless to resist there. As well..." She laughed. "I've probably never seen a guy as cute as you. So, yes. I'll be happy to accompany you."
Lightly blushing, Ash was adamant about getting his back. As calmly as she could, he spoke.
"Splendid. Everything you need to know is on this card, and it is due in two days."
A tiny card, no bigger than her index finger, was given to her. He turned to look at the card, then turned to smile at Ash. He seemed to be anticipating her reading it. He said. "Other than you, Misty, there is no one else I would choose to go with. If you let me, you'll be ideal there." The pleasant praise from Ash made Misty's cheeks continue to glow red.
After a brief pause, she smiled and continued. "Right, Ash, Yes, I will." The man grinned. "Great. I'll come get you when you're ready. Simply prepare for anything." Before Ash called out, he gave her a small bow and started to leave. "Ash!" He turned to face her in anticipation of her response. She did after a little while. "Thanks. I'm excited to travel with you." Ash grinned once more so much, likely the most since the day he had been betrayed. "I, too, you Misty." After summoning one of his most dependable warriors, he walked away and dashed back to the Pokémon league.
As she observed her board the magnificent bird, Misty grinned. Why did she have the impression that she would see the bird soon?
Two Days Later… Day of the Dance…
Ash discovered herself once more on the Pokémon League's roof. Many people wouldn't like it if someone visited a particular roof so frequently, but not him. It was a fantastic way for him to relax. Before the dance, he wanted to have one final conversation with his team.
To get a close look at each of his elites and, more crucially, to find out who they were travelling with, Ash phoned all of his members. Paul was dressed in a strangely fashionable light green suit and a white dress shirt. He also wore light green slacks and a very pale blue tie. Even though Ash had never seen his one elite wear a dress like that, it didn't seem too horrible on the wearer. Koga was truly dressed in nothing special; he was simply donning his usual black suit and white undershirt, with no tie to boot. To be very honest, Ash admired Koga's appearance; it suited him.
Erika was dressed in a pink dress that fit her waist well and fell to the floor just over her feet. It had a slight glimmer, not enough to draw much notice. In addition, she had a pink bow in her hair that stood out against her dark hair. The strangest outfit was undoubtedly Sabrina's. Unlike Erika, she wore a yellow outfit that enveloped her entire body, especially her amazing chest. Sabrina seemed to want to flaunt her body for someone, whilst Erika seemed to have chosen the more tasteful route. Although Ash was aware of who they were, his other elites were not.
Ash spoke while nodding. "Okay, it appears like everyone is ready to go. No matter who you dance with tonight, keep in mind that you are representing Kanto. You don't have to go all out, but keep in mind to be gracious. So, tonight, who are you all going with?"
Paul's speech was upbeat. "Actually, I'm travelling with a gym leader! I'm choosing Whitney!" Ash and Koga laughed at their pal and were happy to see him on such a lovely date. Additionally grinning was Sabrina. Erika, on the other hand, sported a scowl. Ash made a note of this and told him to question her about it later. For the time being, he put it in his back pocket and kept working with his elites. "Koga?"
The elite with black hair smiled. "Malva." The group let out a chorus of gasps, indicating that they had not anticipated this. Ash concurred with her. "Koga, why did you ask her? You could have virtually any lady you wanted." Koga seems a little hurt. "Hey! Relax, boys! She prompted me! She allegedly heard about it through Diantha and spotted me in a store in Indigo Plateau. I agreed to go with her when she asked if I would. Story over." Ash obviously wasn't buying it, but he opted not to say anything about it.
"Erika?" Erika answered with a smile, "Okay, then. My close companion" Koga groaned at the word "my close companion," and Paul gave a slightly irritated look. Sabrina didn't appear to be concerned. Ash gave a nod. He waved his hand and added, "Anddd Sabrina... oh, never mind. Forgot about that." The other elites started speaking, "They deserve to know as well. I'm going with Lance." Paul complained. "That person once more?"
Koga shook his head, "Man, if only he realised how horribly he screwed up."
Yes, truly. Erika tacked on. "That's all!" Ash cut her off. "Don't annoy the person tonight. Keep in mind that we should lead by example and not by poor behaviour. Keep it straightforward and new. In two days, we won't know who we'll be fighting, so don't draw too much attention to yourself." Sadly, Erika's remark prevented him from calling out his devoted Pokémon as he stood up to depart. "Dear Ash: With whom are you travelling?"
"Oh, yeah." Koga voiced his musings. " You omitted to say with whom you were attending this dance." Ash said softly while blushing slightly. "I'm going with Green." He didn't wait for his elites to answer. He leaped from the roof, yelled for Talonflame, and flew toward Misty's hotel. Her elites hadn't even begun to move.
Misty…
It had been about five minutes since that time, and Misty was getting ready. She wore a black dress and she looked nice in the dress. She inhaled deeply before giving herself a small nod. She was making a significant move tonight by playing Ash's partner.
She couldn't help but wonder why she had been drawn to Ash so much when he had been Red. He wasn't ugly at all—quite the opposite, in fact. His brown hair, toned, slender frame, and seductive brown eyes. She simply let down her guard around him because of the "aura" that was radiating from him. What did this man have that caused her to think in such a way?
The front door was suddenly knocked on. Misty moved to the entrance. There was a man standing there dressed in a black suit. He had a balding head and a white moustache. This dude was obviously a butler. Misty enquired, "Can I assist you, sir?" The man bowed respectfully and said, "I've come looking for Green; is he here?"
"Hi, I'm Green." The butler kneeled when Green stated. "Oh, I see. I'm glad to have you here. We must leave. You are awaited by your chariot." After moving, Misty shut the door. She realised that the Butler was escorting them to the roof and she was not surprised.
They exited the pretty opulent elevator and made their way to a balcony. There were lots of grownups drinking, talking, and swimming in the pool. Pokémon were also seen moving around. Misty grinned at the sight, thinking how amazing Kanto was. The butler did nothing more than gaze upward. What they saw did not startle Misty.
A red bird was flying really quickly in the direction of the structure. It flew up and landed quietly in front of them just as it was about to hit the building. Misty gasped when a man got down.
Misty, on the other hand, had gasped for a different cause. He had a clear view of him and had some quite nasty ideas about the champion in front of him right away. He looked stunning in the suit. Ash had not even tried to comb his brown hair, which Misty noticed when she looked at him. For some reason, she found the way he had pulled his collar up to be endearing, and the fact that he was wearing a silver tie and a white handkerchief in his right chest pocket made him appear even better. The idea of pressing up against him made her flush severely, and she was aware that other young females would be eying her date as if he were the dinner that night.
When Ash saw Misty's cheeks were flushed, he grinned at her. 'Ah, he likes the view,' Ash cheerfully observed.
Ash gave Misty's hand a light kiss and said quietly. The compliment, "Misty, you look fantastic tonight," was also accurate. The fabric of her dress was allowing every inch of her perfect figure to be seen. She was stunning, he had to admit. She said in the background. "Thank you Ash," she said before turning to board her flying type and Ash indicated to Misty. "My woman, your chariot is waiting."
"I'll manage it!" Ash grinned while nodding. "Go forward!" She cautiously grasped him hand when he extended it to her. As soon as their hands made contact, they both fixed their gaze on each other, feeling the bond between them deepen. He returned Misty's smile, which she had given. He then yanked her up onto the Pokémon in flight.
All of the guests were observing the interaction and snapping pictures quickly. They knew that the Kanto Champion and Johto Champion being together would make for a good tabloid cover story. She took a seat directly in front of Ash and sat down. However, Ash was considering a memory.
Flashback
Ash was in the dress which he wore when he traveled Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto as he wanted to go back to his roots for training to be a better trainer. Ash and Misty were currenty traveling in Johto region and Ash agreed to travel with Misty as he needed help after the betrayal. Ash was in a dull mood and they were in a meadow where it wwas raining heavily and they had no umbrella. Misty saw Ash becoming more sad as he walked with them and suddenly he walked and started to cry on the ground while placing his calves and arms on the ground.
"I cannot believe that I was betrayed by Dawn, May, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Max, and Bonnie and that they even tried to kill me. What did I do for them to do that to me? Why should I give up my goal?" Misty stood and watched Ash crying heavily. Misty felt very sad for Ash.
"Ash, no matter how much you lose, whatever happens, I will be with you as I love you. We are both partners. I will always be with you and trust you. I will do whatever you say. Please do not be sad as you have me." Ash then stopped crying and then turned back to Misty.
Ash then went and kissed Misty again on her lips and she smiled as she felt Ash's lips touch against her lips. She knew most girls disliked boys who cried often but she was different and would be with Ash even if he cries often as Misty was her partner.
"Ash, I was surprised that you still love me even though I cried heavily." Misty smiled and looked at Ash.
"I love you for who you are and I like all of your character traits. I would not leave you no matter what." Ash smiled on hearing that.
"I also love you, Ash. Ash, you are growing more attractive as your body is changing to look better as you grow." Misty blushed on hearing that.
"Thanks, Misty! Let us go and travel in the meadow for some time together." Ash and Misty then got up. Ash and Misty then walked in the meadow for some time in the rain.
"Misty, let us dance in the heavy rain!" Misty was happy to hear that.
"Yes, let's dance!" Misty said.
Ash and Misty then danced in the heavy rain while they blushed while looking at each other dancing. Ash liked how Misty's body moved while she was dancing and Misty liked how Ash's body moved while he was dancing. Ash and Misty continued to dance for some time while the rain was becoming heavier.
Ash looked at Misty's eyes which he found beautiful with their blue color and her long red hair which he found to be beautiful. Misty was looking at Ash's face which she found to be handsome. Ash then kissed Misty on the lips and then thir mouths opened and Ash and Misty's tongues touched and held each other for some time and then they parted and Ash and Misty smiled at each other.
Ash and Misty walked in the heavy rain while looking at the meadow which looked beautiful in the heavy rain and Ash's left hand held Ash's right hand and Ash loved the feeling of Misty's hand. Ash and Misty continued to walk in the hevy rain for some time while they enjoyed each other's presence. Misty was grateful to have Ash as his partner and Ash was grateful to have Misty as her partner.
Later that Night…
"I can see it now." Over the blinding winds, Ash yelled. Talonflame accelerated towards the direction of a big one-story structure. The celebration had already begun, as seen by the numerous coloured lights emerging from inside the structure. Misty hopped off of Talonflame once it had effortlessly landed. She now had Ash in her line of sight. Then Ash jumped off.
He landed hard on Misty, and the power of it threw them both backward. Misty was on the ground and Ash was on top of her as they both fell to the ground. His arms were over her wasit, and she had her arms snugly around his neck. They were both giggling at the predicament they had just found themselves in. He chuckled. Misty giggled and continued, "Thanks for being such a soft landing for me. They both chuckled again before going eerily still. "Of course, of course. Green, your everyday pillow for your everyday needs." When Misty finally understood how close they were to one another, a deep blush spread across her face.
Murmured Ash. "You know, when you're embarrassed, you're extremely cute." Misty stumbled. "Red, I'm grateful." While still speaking quietly, he ran his thumb along her right cheek. "I know there would have been many who would have attempted to steal you from me, but you are only interested in me," Misty was getting redder and redder. But she didn't try to stop him from stroking her face. When he grabbed her chin with two fingers, she finally stopped.
He said with a smile on his face and a small smirk. "Well, that's unfortunate." Her eyes widened in horror as he pressed his mouth against hers. What was wrong with Ash? He nearly seemed carnal! It seemed unbelievable! She then made the decision to try and relish the kiss. She groaned in pleasure as his gentle lips brushed over hers. Who knew Ash was such a wonderful kisser? She was in ecstasy in no time.
She responded to his aggression with equal aggression, ready to give him a satisfying make-out session. Their mouths were tightly pressed together, dancing, and twirling...
"Misty? Are you okay?" She gasped as she opened her eyes, wondering who had said that. Yet here she was making out with him while it sounded like Ash! She rapidly rubbed her eyes, blinked again, and then came close to passing out. Her cheeks were so rosy that the entire picture—rosy cheeks and all—would have made a fantastic Christmas card.
Of course, Ash had referred to her as cute and had wondered why others could have sought to woo her away from him. Although he had anticipated Ash's dark blush, he was taken aback by her glassy eyes and her seeming isolation. It was strange, to put it mildly. After a little while, he had inquired about her wellbeing. She finally refocused on the world after around 10 seconds, her cheeks bright red. That was strange.
He smiled and put his hands on her hips. "I think Misty, we should leave now," She only nodded incomprehensibly before stepping away from him and standing up. Ash followed suit, and Ash gave his Talonflame back since he hadn't seen everything. They entered the building while walking in opposite states of emotion—for Ash, nervousness, embarrassment, and pure exhilaration. He extended his hand to Misty. She entered the room with happiness, peace, and cheer for Misty. Ash's hand felt like it belonged in hers, therefore she didn't want to release go.
As they entered, Misty took Ash's hand and dragged her through the crowd. Ash nodded slowly. To get to the main dance floor through the crowd of people took some time. Even though it only had one storey, the total structure was larger than gigantic. They finally made it to the dance floor, and as soon as they did, it seemed to come to life. When the DJ and his Pokémon shone a headlight straight on Misty, Ash's eyes widened. He took hold of a nearby stool and climbed up upon it. He screamed. "How are we all doing tonight?" In response, the audience yelled and cheered.
"Hey, that's what I'm referring to. I only need one thing from everyone of you tonight—party hard! Tomorrow marks the beginning of intense battle preparation and competition talk. So let's unwind, enjoy ourselves, dissect it, and construct it! DJ, turn it up!" After he ended his little statement, the audience erupted in applause, and Ash leaped down to an obviously surprised Misty.
He chuckled at her response. "What? I'm a good yeller!" She chuckled. "I guess I just didn't think you'd have any voice at all to raise."
She was taken aback when he grinned and playedfully encircled her waist. "Hey, I'm the only one who can handle them tonight." She softly said in his ear. "Uh, is that true?" He returned the whisper. "A great deal." Before simultaneously laughing at the same time, they exchanged looks for around twenty seconds. She chuckled. " You should work on your sense of humour."
He answered. He smiled and extended out his hand to her, "My dancing is greater than my storehouse of jokes." She grinned and held his hand, "Care to see?" This was the part of Ash as Red that she really liked. On the one side, you had the public's perception of Red, who was silent, mystical, and somewhat cunning. On the other hand, Misty was slightly thrilled by the vibrant, joyful, and somewhat seductive version of him that you had. From the moment they arrived, a full two hours had gone. They were in desperate need of a respite after all that vigorous dancing.
They sort of got one. A tune for couples started playing slowly. Even though they hadn't been there the entire time together, Ash and Misty found themselves gazing at one another as the music started. She accepted his hand with a gentle grin when he extended it to her. Ash had his arms around her waist and Misty had her hands on her his neck as they gently started to dance. As the dance continued, his grin became broader and wider.
His voice was low. "Misty, you look really stunning tonight."
Blushing, Misty. "I'm more than just attractive,"
He stated out loud while giving a small nod. She gazed at him in amazement and bewilderment, then said, "You're right. Her flush deepened, "You're gorgeous, not pretty." A strand of her hair that had gotten in front of the veil was softly stroked aside as he grinned and took his hand off her waist. Misty had observed Paul dancing with Whitney nearby while she was nestled against his chest. Knowing how many people were observing them, Koga and Malva were dancing quite professionally with one another. Lance and Sabrina were nowhere to be seen, but Erika and her boyfriend were making faces at each other that were impossible to read.
His voice was low. "Misty, if I said I had similar feelings for other girls, I'd be lying. I don't. Sincerely, I don't have much experience in this field either. But I must be informed. Are you enjoying yourself tonight?"
She gave him a warm hug as her eyes grew wide. "Red, it's been a blast hanging out with you! And…" She gave him a confident smile. "If I said I wasn't thinking about you in the same manner, I'd be lying. Red, I think you're a really nice guy!"
Ash smiled while holding her close and laughing. " I'd love that, Misty. I know the battles are coming up, but... I'd like for us to meet during the competition, as in... more dates. Would you be interested?" Misty leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, suddenly feeling quite assured. They just understood how close they were when Red said, "As long as I'm with you, I'd love to go with you." Misty was prepared to take a significant first step with the champion as she gradually started to lean in. Ash prepared to take the first step in their relationship by leaning in and placing a gentle hand on her behind.
Their lips got a little bit closer. Ash had completely forgotten about the awkward kissing incident and everything else. He still hadn't disclosed himself to Misty, but she had forgotten about it. They were both adamant about kissing the person standing across from them. They are now only a few inches apart. Ash had his eyes closed and Misty had her eyes drifting shut. Ash and Misty then kissed for some time and then parted.
"PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME! WE WANT TO MAKE A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!" The DJ exclaimed. He grinned and pressed closer to her. He quickly lost his lady, though, when the DJ kept playing.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a distinguished guest with a noteworthy announcement to make! Nobody other than Red, the Kanto champion, will unveil the first game of this tournament tonight! Red, would you kindly rise?" Misty's surprised eyes widened. She observed Ash make his way all the way to the front of the stage before shouting. "Who's game for some battle?" The crowd responded by applauding.
"That is correct! I'll be revealing the opening matchup of the competition tonight! The catch is that there must be two leaders, elites, or champions present tonight. We're kicking off this league in style! The future? Champion Iris and Champion Lance might square off! It might be me versus a member of my top team! We both have no idea, and it will all unfold right in front of our eyes." A wheel suddenly appeared on a big screen behind her.
As he snapped her fingers, he went to the wheel and said, "This wheel will select two trainers at random! Until the top 16, all battles are three on three battles with replacements and equipment allowed as well. And now, let's select our first challenger!" When the crowd recognised the people on both sides of the wheel, they cheered. Paul's face whizzed by on the left, followed by Clemont's on the right, as seen by Ash. Ash's eyes slightly widened as the wheel slowed. On the left, he noticed his face moving slowly toward him.
The audience witnessed it. Ash witnessed it. Misty undoubtedly witnessed it, too. The wheel came to a standstill on his left side. He was entering the first round, and he couldn't believe it. The crowd gasped in amazement as a loud noise that resembled whooshing was then heard. Ash observed what had taken place and the ensuing confrontation. Even so, the first battle would be intriguing.
