A/N. Hello, and welcome to my entry for the Perzoë Discord Challenge.

So, before we get into this, I feel like I must digress that yes, this is a crossover of PJO and a My Chemical Romance album. And no, I am not gonna apologize for it. I did too much research into lore to apologize. (Though know that I will be changing some things. Like the gender of one of the Killjoys, and how BL/ind falls. I'll go even more in depth later. But for now, Canon divergence warning.)

"How much time do we need?" Percy asked.

"About 10 minutes, and that's just to arm them." Beckendorf replied.

Percy sighed, and pulled out a slip of paper. Drawn on it was Zoë Nightshade, a daughter of Atlas, who was also a Hunter of Artemis, and also dead. He stared at it before putting it back in his pocket and pulling out his pen. He uncapped Riptide and ran out of the room. He was gonna make her proud with a sacrifice of epic proportions.

"Where are you going?" Beckendorf asked.

"I'm gonna buy you some time."

Percy pulled an alarm, before running off. He made his way up the different levels of the ship. He built up an army of monsters chasing him, before bursting out onto the top deck. He ran to the edge of the ship, and was about to jump when he heard someone that he didn't want to hear.

"Not so fast, Jackson. Wouldn't want to leave your poor partner alone."

Percy turned to see Luke, possessed by Kronos. He snapped his fingers, and a couple of Telkhines brought Beckendorf forward. He looked worse for wear. Beaten to a pulp, and his shirt was ripped, but the detonator for the bombs was still in his shirt pocket. They kept him near the other edge of the ship.

"Now, I am gonna offer you a choice. You can either push him off the ship, or he can die to my scythe. Your choice." Kronos said.

Percy thought to himself. Was Kronos an idiot? Percy had control over the ocean, so what good would pushing him off the ship do? But hey, if Kronos didn't find any flaws in the logic, then who was he to judge?

He slowly walked towards Beckendorf, the monsters parting like the red sea. He crept closer to Beckendorf, Kronos watching with glee.

"Perce? What are you doing?" Beckendorf asked warily.

"Don't worry." Percy said.

He got close and closed his eyes as he readied himself. Then he opened them and pushed.

He whistled. "Get him Blackjack!"

The pegasus flew and caught Beckendorf midair.

Kronos' eyes widened. He clicked his fingers again, and the monsters moved to grab him. They grabbed his arms and brought him before Kronos.

"You dare defy me boy?!"

Percy smirked. "Yeah, I do." He said, before moving his thumb against his fist.

Kronos took his scythe and slit Percy's throat. As Percy's vision went dark, he saw the green explosion that he set off moments before.

LINE BREAK

Percy didn't end up in the Underworld like he expected. Instead, he seemed to be in a nice cottage. 3 old ladies sat by the fireplace knitting a nice scarf. The yarn glowed golden. They tried to snip the string, but the scissors wouldn't cut the string.

"What is going on?" One of them asked.

"Well, I don't know, Clotho!" The one with the scissors said. "Obviously something isn't right."

"Oh, you think?" Clotho asked, sarcastically.

"Stop, we need to figure out what is going on." The one in the middle said.

Percy decided this would be a good time to announce his presence. He coughed into his fist. The three Fates turned around.

"What is he doing here?" Clotho asked.

"He shouldn't be here." The one with the scissors said.

"We know that." The one in the middle said. "What we don't know is what is going on."

"Well, I think it's obvious, someone is interfering with our plans." The one with scissors said.

"But who is powerful enough to do that?" Clotho asked.

"No one, except Chaos herself. And she hasn't made herself known since..." The one in the middle said.

"Do you think..." The one with scissors said.

"It can't possibly... can it?"

The three started to whisper amongst themselves, forming an idea. They stopped a minute later and turned to Percy. They decided to break it to him bluntly.

"We're sending you to another universe." They all said at once.

"A what?" Percy asked.

"A while ago, Chaos got antsy and created an alternate universe. And we think that something happened in that one, and it's affecting our universe. So we're going to send you in to be a spy, of sorts." Clotho said.

"But, I'm dead..."

"We're Fate, we don't give two flying fucks. Now, you're gonna need some background." The one with scissors said. "Basically, you're gonna find yourself in a post-apocalyptic California, in the year 2019. Right in the heart of Battery City. You'll be part of a rebellion group, The Killjoys. Other than that, I think you're good."

"That's a lot of information, and not enough time to process it." Percy said.

The Fates didn't care, as they started to mutter and chant. A door appeared in the middle of the room. Percy walked over to it. Before he walked in, the middle Fate stopped him.

"You might want to prepare yourself." She said. "In more ways than may be obvious."

Percy looked confused, before he was pushed into the door.

LINE BREAK

Percy found himself in the middle of a gunfight. Well, kind of. It was more of a laser tag battle, except the lasers killed the person they touched. He hid behind a shipping container as he was shot at.

He looked down and realized that his clothes were different. For one, he was wearing fingerless gloves, and a couple of bracelets on his wrists. A belt kept up his pants, and held the holster on his side. A yellow bandanna was tied to his left leg. He also wore some sort of blue jacket. It said 'Dead Pegasus' on it, and he didn't know how he felt about that.

A yellow gun sat in his holster. He pulled it out and tried to figure out who these "Killjoys" were. As far as he could tell, they were the ones who also wore weird outfits. And they were shooting at people in white suits who wore masks reminiscent of Dracula. Percy started firing at them.

"PARTY POISON!" One of the Killjoys shouted. "WE HAVE TO RETREAT!"

Percy didn't know who they were referring to. Then he realized that all the Killjoys were staring at him. Was he Party Poison? If so, did he choose the name, because it was kind of cringy.

Percy looked at them confused. "Are you talking to me?" He asked them.

"Well duh, you're the leader." One said.

"Well then let's retreat." Percy said.

"You alright, Pois?" Another one asked. "That Draculoid hit you pretty hard."

"Uh, I don't think so."

"Alright, we'll get you looked at when we get back to base. Jet Star, get the car ready."

A man wearing a black american flag jacket, fingerless gloves, and a lightning bolt helmet nodded, before rushing out of the warehouse. He was the one who said Percy was the leader.

The one who called him Pois was a woman, wearing a T&T vest over a black shirt. She also wore a Frankenstein mask. Percy thought she sounded familiar, but he couldn't place his finger on it.

A car horn was heard outside. The girl waved him up, and crept outside. They were still being shot at after all. Once out of the warehouse, they ran to get in the car. The one called Jet Star was in the driver's seat. Once they were all in he pushed the gas all the way down.

They sped away, and after a while, the city was in the rearview mirror. They had entered a desert with a building here and there. They pulled up to a building that looked like it was an abandoned diner. They all got out and walked in. Inside was a little makeshift home, oddly reminiscent of Percy's apartment back in his original universe.

He was forced to sit down at a table, and one of the group members sat down next to him. He wore sunglasses and a red racing jacket with a '3' on the shoulder. Underneath was a tiger striped shirt. The man took off his black leather gloves.

On the other side of Percy sat the girl. She still hadn't taken off the Frankenstein mask.

The man looked Percy over, examining him. "He looks alright." He said when he was done.

"Holy shit, I should be dead." Percy muttered, the fact that he was killed finally hitting him.

"Well, it looks like you still have a soul, so, you're good." The man said.

"No, you don't understand. I don't belong here. I'm supposed to be dead."

The girl took off her mask, and Percy felt like he was gonna faint. Standing there was a familiar dead huntress, Zoë fucking Nightshade. "Pois, you're alright." She reassured him, putting her hand on his.

"No, no, no, no. I'm supposed to be dead, you're supposed to be dead. And I don't belong here." He stammered.

"Poison?" The man asked. Zoë looked a little spooked.

Percy started to hyperventilate. "I'm supposed to be dead. She's supposed to be dead. I'm supposed to be dead. She's supposed to be dead." He started to chant.

The man looked at Zoë. "Ghoul, you wanna handle this?"

Zoë nodded. "C'mon Pois." She took his hand and tried to help him up. Percy got up shakily, not having his head fully in the game.

She took him outside the reformed bar. The sun had set, and night had begun. With little to no light pollution, the night sky looked beautiful. She sat him down on the hood of the car.

"Okay, what's going on? You were just fine earlier this morning." She asked.

"I... I... I died. What do you want me to say?" He said, looking everywhere, not focusing on a single point.

"Look at me." She said, grabbing the sides of his head and forced him to look at her. "I was with you all morning. You did NOT die. There is no way in this entire universe that you died."

"That's the thing, it wasn't in this universe."

Zoë's eyes widened.

"I'm from another universe. And in that one I died. I wasn't supposed to. And so, I've been sent here to figure out why."

"So, why'd you say that I was dead?" She said, sounding apprehensive about it.

"Because I watched you die."

"I thought it was just a dream." She muttered. "I knew it felt too real."

"What?"

"I'm from that universe. The one where I'm a Hesperide, then a Hunter of Artemis, right?"

Percy nodded. He was silently relieved to know at least someone here.

They were silent for a few minutes. At least until Percy asked a question. "This is quite different from our universe, huh?"

Zoë snorted. "You think? This place is crazy."

"Can you give me the rundown. I only know the basics. Like how we are in the year 2019, a place called Battery City, and our group is called the Killjoys. That's about it."

Zoë sighed. "Yeah, that's not a lot. We are rebelling against a megacorporation, Better Living Industries." She pulled out a card and gave it to him. It had a picture of a smiley face, with some text next to it, reading "BL/ind". It was in black and white.

"Subtle." He muttered.

Zoë laughed. "Yeah. Especially since they basically control everyone. They came into political power back in 2012, after the Great Fires. They give out drugs which basically eliminates needs for anything else. Including sex."

"I bet that makes you happy. No need for relationships and things like that."

Zoë smiled nervously. "Not really. Its true purpose is to keep the population docile and easy to control. Their own employees aren't immune. New employees literally have their souls sucked out, and they become Draculoids."

"Damn, that's bad."

"Yeah, bad." Zoë said, sitting next to him and leaning her head on his shoulder.

Percy stiffened instantly. "What are you doing?"

Zoë yawned. "Yeah, we're dating in this universe. Forgot that part."

Percy instantly had problems with that statement. "Okay, first of all, the Zoë I knew wanted nothing to do with men, and now she's dating one? Sounds legit. And even if that made sense, I'm not the Percy you were dating. In fact, what happened to him? Did I just kick his soul out?"

Zoë was silent. "This place, it changes you, even if you're only here for a couple days. As for the other one, I don't know. But still, this feels right. Like it's fate. Fate doesn't make mistakes, right?"

Meanwhile...

In the cottage where the 3 Fates resided, they were trying to figure out what went wrong with their plan. It was so carefully constructed, what the hell could've gone wrong? In the corner, Atropos went through all the cut strings, before she picked up a sea green one.

"Uh, sisters. I think I found out what went wrong." She said.

They turned to her. "What happened?"

"So, uh, funny story, I was kind of watching a football game, and may have accidentally cut the wrong string." She said nervously.

"Oh. My. Chaos!" Clotho exclaimed. "We sent Percy to another universe for no reason now!"

"Check on him." Lachesis said.

Clotho waved her hand and a smokey screen materialized. In it was Percy and Zoë cuddling on the hood of a car. They were both dressed in weird outfits.

"Welp, there goes any hope of returning him to his original universe." Atropos said.

"I don't want to hear it from you, this is all your fault. This is your mistake." Clotho said. "Wait, why were you watching a game, didn't we determine that outcome ages ago?"

"I forgot what we said it was gonna be!" Atropos defended.

Lachesis sighed. "Well, we now have to figure out how to fix this whole thing. Since Percy isn't going to want to leave that universe."

Clotho pinched the bridge of her nose, before she got an idea. "Unless his original one was in danger."

LINE BREAK

"Yo, Red Motherfucker, Rat Bastard, you guys out here? You better not be fucking on the Trans Am again, we just got it washed." One of the Killjoys came out of the diner looking for the leader and his consort.

Zoë raised her head to look at the newcomer. It was the one who checked over Percy, Kobra Kid. "What is it?"

"We should probably get to sleep. Big day tomorrow and all that." He said, before going back in.

Percy turned to Zoë. "What's tomorrow?"

"Drug raid. And we're taking the Girl."

"The Girl?"

"The future of the rebellion. She'll be the reason we win, I can feel it. We all can."

"Well, I guess we should get to sleep then. Like he said, big day."

"I should probably tell you their names, huh?"

"That would be good, yes."

Zoë smirked. "Well, the one who just came out here was Kobra Kid. And the other one is Jet Star. I'm Fun Ghoul, and you are Party Poison. We don't use our real names, besides when the two of us are alone." She stood up.

"I'm not gonna remember any of that."

"You better."

"I mean, I can try, but no promises"

"Good enough. Now, let's get to bed."

LINE BREAK

Percy looked in the mirror. It had been a little over a week since he had arrived in this universe, and it was crazy how quickly he had managed to fit in. Jet Star was like his best friend, Kobra Kid his little brother, and Zoë...

The bombshell that he and Zoë were dating was a little weird to take in at first, but as the week went on, he found it being more and more natural. They way they bounced off each other like they had known each other their whole lives. He was sure that if Zoë had survived the quest over a year ago, that they would have grown closer.

Not only that, but he was also a pseudo-father. The Girl, who he had been introduced to the day after he arrived, was like his daughter. The first time he looked in her eyes, he knew that he wouldn't let anything happen to her, not if he could prevent it.

Percy wet his face, shaking his thoughts out of his head. He needed to be focused for today's drug raid. He stared at his dyed red hair, which had been a shock when he first looked in the mirror, and ran a hand through it. It was growing on him, not going to lie. And Zoë liked it, which was a plus.

He put on his eye mask, which matched the color of his ray gun.

That was another thing, ray guns. He had noticed that each Killjoy had their own ray gun that they had decorated. Percy didn't know why he had gotten yellow and black, since he would've preferred blue, but beggars can't be choosers. Well they can, but there is a term for those, and it is 'assholes'.

He had expected his archery skills to reflect his skills with the ray gun, but as it turned out, he was quite the marksman with it. He didn't know how or why, but it kept him alive in a firefight, and sometimes it was best to just let things be.

He walked out of the bathroom and into the diner's main room where the rest of the Killjoys were waiting on him.

"God dude, what were you doing in there?" Jet Star asked Percy.

"Getting ready, what do you think?" Percy said.

"Geez, calm down, Angsty Lesbian." Kobra Kid teased.

Percy rolled his eyes. He knew it was a joke, so he didn't push it too hard. He started to walk out of the diner and to the car. The rest of the killjoys followed behind him. Jet Star took the driver's seat, while Kobra Kid took shotgun. Percy and Zoë were in the backseat with The Girl.

Percy's leg bounced the entire ride. Zoë tried to help him, but she couldn't do much with a six year old in the car. She just ended up putting her hand on his knee and hugging him close with her other arm.

They drove into the city, maneuvering the streets. Jet Star took it slow, looking for something specific. They turned onto a street, where a van with the Better Living Industries logo sat. A draculoid was sitting in the driver's seat, crossing out something on a clipboard.

"Let's rock and roll." Kobra Kid said, drawing his ray gun. He rolled his window down and started blasting.

Zoë drew her gun and did the same.

The draculoid pulled out a gun and started firing back. Percy jumped out of the car and drew his gun. He peeked out from behind the car door and took a couple shots. The draculoid ducked behind the console of the van. Percy took the chance to run up to the van and shot the draculoid.

The soulless man fell to the ground dead. Holy shit, he just killed a man. Except he had no soul, so was it killing? It's like asking if killing a zombie was murder. There's no clear answer.

The rest of the Killjoys followed behind him. They went to the back of the truck, opening it to reveal the drugs that BL/ind gave the residents of Battery City. Cases of refrigerated drugs sat in the back of the van, enough there for about an 8th of the city.

Percy closed the van doors and walked back around. The Killjoys ran back to the car. Percy popped open the hood of the van and studied it for a moment. Then he pulled out his ray gun and fired at the engine.

He closed the hood and ran back to the car. He just barely made it in when the van exploded. They stared at the burning car, before Jet Star drove off, looking for more vans.

They found another van, killed the draculoid, and burned the drugs. It was going well until they hit their 4th van.

It started well enough. They pulled up, shot at the draculoid, and once they saw him fall to the ground, they opened up the back. But there were no drugs in the back. Instead, it was a van full of Draculoids and even a S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W.

S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W's were the top agents of BL/ind. Usually tasked with dealing with rebels and ordering around draculoids, they only answered to the head of BL/ind themself.

They opened fire on the Killjoys. Percy brought Zoë and The Girl to the side of the van, just barely avoiding the lasers. Jet Star and Kobra Kid took the other side of the van. Percy gripped his ray gun tightly.

A draculoid came out of the van and rounded the van, only to get shot by Percy. The sounds of a body falling to the ground came from the other side too. It seemed that the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W was being careful with this.

Percy turned to Zoë. "Take The Girl and get to the car. Just get her out of here, it's too dangerous for her."

Zoë nodded, before sheathing her gun and picking up the girl. Two more draculoids came round the van. Percy shot them both dead. He looked back to Zoë and The Girl. They were almost at the car when more BL/ind vans rounded the corner. It seemed that the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W called in reinforcements. It wasn't looking good.

Percy tried to fire at the van to explode it, but it wasn't doing much. Zoë pulled out her ray gun and got ready for a firefight. She put the Girl behind her, ready to give her life to keep the rebellion going.

Suddenly, Percy was next to her, and pointing her to a nearby building. Zoë instantly understood when she saw the other Killjoys running into it. Percy picked up the Girl and started to run towards the building.

Percy and the Girl was the last one to enter. He made sure to close the door behind him. When they looked to see what kind of building they had chosen, they realized that they had chosen probably the best possible building. An apartment building.

"Alright, we split up, and raise havoc." Percy said, that being the only plan they need.

The rest of the Killjoys smiled, eyes lighting up with delight. They all rushed off in different directions. Percy turned to the Girl. He saw the front desk, and told her to hide behind it.

"They won't be able to see you if you crouch down, okay?"

She nodded, before climbing over. She ducked down and hid behind the counter. She saw some cabinets under the desk, so she opened them and got inside. She closed the doors behind her.

Percy rushed off into the elevator. He selected a random floor, and waited. The door opened, but he stayed in the elevator. He hoped that his plan would work. Soon enough, the elevator began to descend. He gripped his ray gun tightly.

The elevator stopped on the ground floor. The door opened to reveal a pair of draculoids. Percy shot them both, before looking to see that some more draculoids were entering the building.

Percy winked at them, before pushing the button to close the elevator doors. He pushed the button for floor 5. The elevator did as it was told, and opened the doors at floor 5. Percy ran out of the elevator and into a random apartment.

He heard some sounds of action from the floor below him. He rushed down the stairs and saw that some draculoids were breaking down doors. He shot one, and the other shot back at him. It missed, so Percy lived to shoot the other.

Zoë came out of the room. "I had them handled."

"Well, it's all good now." Percy said, smirking.

"You're gonna pay for that." She joked.

"Gladly." He said, walking over to her.

She kissed him as he wrapped an arm around her. Footsteps came running up the stairs. They both pulled out their guns and shot at the draculoid. The soulless human fell down the stairs, knocking into some more draculoids.

Percy broke off the kiss. "The rest of the team."

"Right, rest of the team."

They went into the elevator and selected a higher floor. They heard some commotion going on, so they raised their guns. The elevator door opened and they started blasting at the white clad enemies.

Jet Star stood at the end of the hallway, shooting at some draculoids that were climbing the stairs. Once they were all dead, he turned to the couple. "Thanks for the help. The horde should be thinning out quickly at this rate."

"There's still the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W that we have to deal with." Zoë said.

"Well, let's find Kobra Kid and the Girl, and get the fuck out of here." Percy planned. "There's no way we're killing them all and that S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W is probably gonna keep calling reinforcements."

Jet Star agreed. They decided to take the elevator to the top floor then work the rest of the way down. Searching the top floor was a group of draculoids. They quickly neutralized the threats and searched the floor. They found nothing. They went to the next floor.

Outside the building, a draculoid approached the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W. "Korse, should we call in more reinforcements? Almost all of the teams have been eliminated."

Korse chewed on his fingernail, before making a decision. 'No, I'll do it myself."

He walked into the building and looked around the empty room. Then came a thump from the desk. He walked over to it and jumped over it. He opened it up to reveal a six year old girl. Korse's eyes widened.

He motioned over two draculoids. "Take this girl back to headquarters, and have everyone leave the rebels alone."

They nodded and grabbed the girl. They dragged her into their van and the van drove off. Korse smirked as he realized he won.

Back upstairs, the Killjoys found Kobra Kid and were heading back downstairs to the bottom floor. Percy jumped over the desk and looked under the desk. The drawers were open, and The Girl was gone. All that was left was her ray gun. Percy looked up, worried.

"Guys, she's gone."

"You're kidding." Zoë said.

Percy shook his head. "Come look."

They all jumped over the desk and looked. Sure enough they all believed it when they saw it. Then they heard a van taking off. They ran outside to see the BL/ind vans taking off.

Percy pulled out his ray gun and shot at the van, to no avail. Zoë put her hand on his shoulder, and lowered his gun with her other hand.

"We'll get her back, but we should go back. They'll most likely keep her as leverage, which means she'll be alive."

Percy holstered his gun. He stared at where the van had been a moment earlier, before turning to their car and getting in the driver's seat. The rest of the Killjoys followed behind him.

LINE BREAK

Later, back at the homebase diner, Percy sat at a table, flipping his gun on his finger. Zoë sat next to him, while the other two Killjoys sat at another table listening to Dr. Death Defying on the radio.

"And in other news Party Poison and Fun Ghoul have officially announced their relationship. Now, I know that none of us are surprised, we saw it coming from a mile away!" Dr. Death was saying.

"Party Poison." Percy muttered. "Party... Poison..." His eyes widened. "That's it!"

"What?" Zoë asked.

"A party. Let's throw a party." He said.

"How would that help?"

"Not a normal party, I'm talking levels on that of Dionysus. Except, more death. We raid BL/ind's headquarters, rescue The Girl, and burn the place to the ground."

"Sounds fun." Zoë said, smirking.

"Oh yeah, this is gonna be great."

LINE BREAK

Percy's eyes set forward in determination. His hands clenched the steering wheel as he drove the Trans Am to the BL/ind headquarters. They entered a tunnel, and at the end of it stood a guard post, with one of those gates that is just a bar, but it goes up and down. (You know what I mean.)

Zoë leaned out the window and shot the guy as Percy rammed the car through the gate thing. They exited the tunnel and pulled up to the main building of BL/ind headquarters. Percy parked the car and got out, drawing his gun.

Swarms of draculoids rushed out of the building, white ray guns in hand. They were quickly mowed down by the Killjoys, who had nothing but thoughts of seeing the place burning down in their minds.

They entered the building, shooting more draculoids. They moved through the building, taking out draculoids and searching rooms for The Girl. They entered a security room, and sitting there on the floor was The Girl.

She ran up to Percy and hugged him. He returned the hug, before getting up. Jet Star gave her her ray gun. They ran out of the room, and into the main lobby. Waiting for them was a mob of draculoids, and the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W, Korse.

More draculoids came from the room they just exited and surrounded them. Percy grasped his gun tightly. All of the Killjoys, including The Girl, raised their ray guns.

Percy was the first to fire. He took out draculoids, firing his gun in the style of cowboys in the wild west. The ones who would fire from the hip, shooting very fast. The rest of the Killjoys fired as well.

But, alas, a fight isn't one way, most of the time. So the draculoids were firing too. Luckily the Killjoys were nimble enough to dodge.

Percy shot one, killed another, jumped to avoid a laser beam, and fired at another. Then he was tackled and pinned to the wall by Korse. Korse wanted to savor killing one of the pains in his ass. See the fear in Percy's eyes.

Percy didn't make the same mistake.

Korse fell to the ground dead. The rest of the draculoids stared at the head S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W's dead body, before they too were gunned down.

Every draculoid in the room was dead. Percy turned to the rest of his team. "You guys ready?"

Jet star pulled out a lighter. "Fuck yeah."

Kobra Kid went out to the car and brought back a jerry can full of gasoline. Percy smiled and went into the break room, where there was a natural gas stove. He moved the stove a little bit, just enough to access the natural gas line. He shot it, breaking it.

Kobra kid brought the gasoline and started to pour a line of gasoline from the leaking gas line all the way outside. Percy and the Killjoys followed him to the car. Jet Star handed Percy the lighter, letting him do the honors.

Percy was about to light the gasoline when he decided not to. He turned to the Girl. "You want to do it?"

She smiled and nodded. Percy handed her the lighter. The Girl knelt down and flicked the lighter. She held it close to the gasoline and lit it, pulling her hand back quickly so as to not get burnt.

The gas lit all the way into the building. And then the building blew up. A body flew out of one of the windows on the top floors. The body landed next to the Trans Am. The name tag clipped onto her shirt indicated that she was the leading person of BL/ind.

She gasped, somehow still alive. Percy stared at her in surprise. Then he drew his gun and shot her in the head.

The Killjoys huddled together and watched the building burn. Zoë leaned her head on Percy's shoulder. The flames of the burning building warmed their hearts.

"Well, done." A voice said from behind them.

They turned around to see three old ladies. Jet Star and Kobra Kid drew their ray guns and aimed at them.

"Lower your guns." Percy said.

"Party?" Jet Star asked.

"Do it." Zoë repeated her boyfriend.

They lowered their guns.

"Lady Fates." Percy said, bowing.

"Rise, Perseus." They said.

"Why are you here?" He asked carefully.

"Your original universe needs you. Things aren't going well."

LINE BREAK

Annabeth was worried. Percy had died earlier that week, and things hadn't gotten any better. Kronos had advanced to Olympus, and everyone was losing morale. Even in the heat of the battle that was going on, Annabeth felt like giving up.

The onslaught of monsters never ended. The demigods were pushed up against the Empire State Building. It was looking like this was the end. Then Annabeth heard something she thought she would never have heard again.

Percy's voice.

"The future is bulletproof! The aftermath is secondary! It's time to do it now and do it loud! Killjoys, make some noise!"

A car came speeding out of an alley, with 3 people leaning out of the windows, firing weird guns at the oncoming monsters. She couldn't tell which one was Percy. She eliminated one, since they looked like a girl, and another had an afro, which she was sure Percy wouldn't wear. That left two. The one with red racing clothes, and the other with red hair. She honestly couldn't tell. It's not like the eye masks made it easier to tell.

"Party Poop, what the fuck are these things?" The one with the afro asked.

"Hellhounds." The one with red hair, responded. He was the one with Percy's voice.

"They're nasty sons of bitches, eh, Fro?" The one with red clothes said.

"You said it, Kobes. What are the odds I can take one of their teeth as a trophy? Spruce up the diner?" Afro asked.

"Good luck getting close enough to take one, they'll rip you apart." The woman said. She sounded vaguely familiar, but Annabeth couldn't place a name to the voice.

The group was enough to turn the tide of the battle. The horde of monsters was thinned quickly, and finished off by the rest of the demigods. The group checked on each other, making sure that they were all okay.

"Alright, Jet Star, Kobra Kid, you too stay down here in case another army comes. Fun Ghoul and I will go up to Olympus and take on Kronos. Alright?" Percy said.

The two guys nodded, before Percy and 'Fun Ghoul' walked to the Empire State Building's entrance.

Percy was nervous. He and Zoë were about to take on the king of the Titans, who was also possessing the body of Luke Castellan. They walked into the building, and went straight to the elevators. They selected floor 600 and waited for the elevator to ascend.

"You ready?" Zoë asked.

Percy chuckled humorlessly. "Oh hell no. We are so going to die."

Zoë smiled. "Nah, we'll be fine. The Fates are on our side."

"Mmmm, are they though?" Percy asked, not buying that statement. "Can we be sure of anything about them? I mean, they fucked up by cutting my string, who's to say they won't mess up again?"

Zoë was silent. Percy sighed, before leaning back and looking up at the elevator ceiling. He slid down to the ground, sitting.

"Don't you ever wonder, could you just run away from it all?"

"That would be very hard for you to do, loyalty and all." Zoë said. She sat down next to him.

"I know, but, I'm just so tired. I want it all to end."

Zoë wrapped an arm around him.

"Would you run away with me?" He asked.

Zoë pursed her lips. She thought through her answer. "Anytime you want." She finally decided.

The elevator stopped, and the doors opened with a DING. The couple stood up, before they drew their guns, (recently enchanted by the Fates to harm creatures in the mythological world), and walked towards what would either be their death, or the reason they became legends.

After all, this wasn't about the friends you made, but instead the graffiti they write on your grave.

Deep cuts in buildings showed the rage and power that Kronos wielded. Heads were cut off of statues, and lawns were left mutilated. Each ruined thing only served to make Percy and Zoë nervous.

Finally, at the end of their walk, they had reached the Throne Room of Olympus. Sounds of the rage of Kronos came from inside. Percy took a deep breath in, before pushing open the door.

Kronos was standing in the middle of the room, trying to decide which throne to destroy first. The sounds of the door creaking open alerted him to the fact that he was no longer alone. He turned around, only to be frozen in shock.

"Jackson! I... I killed you! And you, my grand niece, you are also dead!"

"My death... was greatly exaggerated." Percy said.

"As was mine." Zoë shrugged.

"But, let us return the favor." Percy said, before they both raised their guns and fired.

As it turns out, the Achilles curse even prevents damage from lasers that come from another universe. Who knew? Which meant that they had to find Kronos' weak spot. The Fates really couldn't have told them where it was? That would've probably been a real nice piece of info to know.

Kronos spun his scythe, before lunging forward and striking towards Percy. He dodged the strike, jumping backwards and shooting another laser at Kronos. Zoë shot another one as well, and they both noticed how he seemed to make more of an effort to doge Zoë's than Percy's.

Percy aimed for the same spot she did, his left armpit, and got the same result. So, at least they had a general idea of where the spot was. That was the good news.

The bad news was that Kronos knocked Percy's ray gun out of his hand. Percy tried to back away, only for Kronos to grab him. The Titan put the demigod in a chokehold with one arm, and raised his scythe with the other.

"I'm going to make your girl watch as I kill you once again." Kronos said with murderous glee. Percy noticed that Kronos' arm was raised, enough for a laser to hit a certain weak spot.

He tried to communicate to Zoë, but if she saw, she didn't make it known. Kronos started to move his scythe towards Percy's neck when Zoë raised her gun.

And as always, the former huntress didn't miss.

Kronos howled out in pain as his Achilles spot was wounded. The Titan dropped his scythe and let Percy out of the chokehold. Percy scrambled away and picked up his ray gun.

Kronos fell to the floor, before his eyes rolled into the back of his head, and then the body stilled. Kronos was dead. Or, as dead as a titan could be. More like his consciousness was spread so thin that he wouldn't have a single cognitive thought ever again.

Zoë ran to her lover, checking him over. "You good?" She asked.

Percy's heavy breathing mellowed out. "Yeah, I still have a soul, so I think I'm good."

Zoë let out a choked laugh.

The Throne Room doors opened to reveal the Fates flying through. They held a shroud, and they went straight towards Luke's body. They were about to carry the body out of the throne room, when they stopped.

"We guess we should reward you."

"You don't have to do that." Percy and Zoë said.

"No, no, we are going to. We will allow you, if you so wish, to go back to your danger days."

"What do you mean?"

"BL/ind isn't gone. It's not going to go away just because you blew up the headquarters. The Killjoys still have a job to do."

The idea sounded tempting, but Percy had to ask. "What about everyone here?"

"You're dead here, remember. You're lucky that the four of you were able to be in this universe without spontaneously combusting. We fear that it would be in your best interest to go back."

Percy turned to Zoë. "Run away with me?"

She smiled. "Anytime you want."

A/N. Holy fuck, that was so much longer than I thought it would be. Almost 7k words, this is my second longest oneshot.

So, I mentioned before that I changed some things from Danger Days. So, I changed Fun Ghoul's gender, to be Zoë. Also, literally all of the Killjoys were supposed to die at BL/ind's headquarters, with only The Girl surviving. (You can see this in the music video for Sing). S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W Korse defects sometime later, falling in love and later helping bring down BL/ind. So yeah, major canon divergence.

I know that Percy and Zoë's romance was a little rushed, but I really didn't want to make this longer than it already is, and I'm already cutting it close to the deadline for the Perzoë discord challenge.

For my peeps on , this is the final thing that I am transferring over here. Y'all are all caught up now. Now, there are a couple of things I decided not to post on here, but you can find them on my Wattpad and Ao3 profiles under the same name. So, to clarify, because I confused myself, I will be updating at my regular pace, and not like how I've been doing it these past few days.

Thoughts?
