Chapter Seven: Exodus

"Widow are you Sure Your tip is You Know, Accurate?" Hawkeye Asked Standing on a Snowy Mountain With a Heavy Coat on, Shadow Hovered Above Him.
"This Place is Emptier then Hulk's head." Hawkeye Said, Shadow Floated around To where Tony was Flying as Well.
"Shield Tip. It was the First Place we Crashed and the Last Place we Looked." Natasha Said, "Cut the Chatter." Cap Scolded them, "This is the First Peep from the Cabal Since they Got their Hands on the Tesseract." Cap added.
"Listen to Uncle Cap, People." Tony Said Jokingly, Shadow Shoved Her Face into the White Scarf She wore, "Well Hawkeye was Right about it Looking Empty, But Looks Can Deceive you." Shadow Said.
"Who knows What weapon They've Super Charged with it's Cosmic Energy." Tony Stated, Shadow Had one Of those Bad Feelings about this Mission, The Cabal Was Dangerous when Joined together, add Cosmic Energy to the mix and That was bad.
"Jarvis, Broaden my infrareds." Tony Requested of the AI, "Skull's Not Catching me With my Iron Pants Down Again."
"Super–Charged Power? the Tesseract Can Do That?" Falcon asked, Ah Yes He was Knew To this, Fairly New.
"Aye. The Tesseract is a Source Of Unlimited power." Thor Replied, "Capable Of many Glorious and Terrible Feats."
They Slowly Snuck in as to not Disturb the Cabal and Give away their Presence Here, Stealth was the Key.
Shadow Flew Carefully, Each Patter of her Wing Beats made no Sound, Silent as a Mouse they Say.
"Speak Troll." Attuma Said, "Why have you Brought Attuma to this Frozen Hole." Attuma Rudely asked Modok.
"Certainly not For your Big Mouth, You Bloated Pufferfish." Modok Retorted, "Behold!" Modok Shouted.
"Iridium?" Hyperion asked, "Interesting."
She Groaned, Shadow Did Not Like Hyperion one Bit, Not Since The First battle he had With the Avengers when he Tried to Manipulate Them and Tried to Hit On Shadow.
"More then Interesting, Hyperion." Skull Muttered, "It is the Keystone to Our Success."
"I Don't want to be here longer then it is With you..." Modok Started to Say Until Hyperion heard Something with his Super Hearing.
"Silence Head, I hear Something." Hyperion Hushed Him, "Blah! Enough of your Paranoid Dramatics." Modok Said, "There is Nothing Out there you..." Modok Started to Say but Was Caught Off Guard When Hyperion Caught One Of Hawkeye's arrows.
"Doubt Me Again, and I can always let the Next One Go." Hyperion Quipped.
a Beep Sounded And Iron Man Shouted, "Avengers Assemble."
finally Shadow Could Actually Spread her Wings, According To Tony's Plan She was to assist Falcon at Any Point.
"Hulk, Thor, Engage the Heavy Hitters." Tony Ordered, Hulk Quickly Landed in front of Hyperion, "Peek–a–boo! Space–Man." Hulk Quipped.
"a Sneak Attack Stark?" Modok Said, "How Prescious, Allow me to Retort." Modok Said and Began attacking.
"Tesseract Energy Detected Sir." Jarvis Informed Tony, "Sucess rate has Fallen To 18.2%"
Tony Sighed, "Got it Jarvis, Falcon. Shadow, Right Flank, Strafe Low." Tony Ordered the Two With Wings. "Corner them to a Hole."
Cap Tried to Stop them, "No! Hulk Needs Space." But was Caught Off by Another Atlantian Attacking Him.
"No What Hulk needs is falcon and Shadow to Secure his Six." Tony Argued, "Sam, Alisha, Go."
"Sam, Alisha, Stop." Cap Argued, "When Hulk and Hyperion go at it They Shake Continents."
Shadow was Just as Confused as Falcon was Flying Low Behind Him as Per Tony's Orders.
"It's an Unessecary Risk." Cap Tried Once More, "Look around Cap, They've Got a Tesseract Weapon, We are way behind Risk." Tony Argued Back. "Perfect time to test our Strengths and not Question Our Weakness." Tony Said.
"This is a Turkey Shoot! Sam, Alisha, Do it!" Tony Ordered, Shadow and Falcon Flew Closer But Hyperion had Finally Had Enough of Hulk, "Off me Foul Beast!" He Shouted Shoving Hulk Off with his Super Strength.
"Falcon! Watch it." Shadow Desperately Shouted As Hulk came Flying Towards Them, He hit Falcon Causing Falcon to hit Shadow's Chest Causing them to Fall Endlessly Out Of a hole And Most likely Into the Mountain Below, To Avoid Injury to her Wings She Tucked them In as The Avengers Watched in Horror.
"Falcon! Shadow!" Iron Man Shouted as Modok Laughed Disappearing into a Portal, "Two Down, Billions To go." He Laughed Maniacally.
as Both Shadow and Falcon Fell, She Let Out a Harsh Yelp, When Falcon had hit her Chest with The Force it Did it Had Left a Cut and a Burning Sensation on her Chest Making it so she Couldn't Breath Correctly.
"Sam! Alisha!" Tony Shouted.

Both Were Semi Conscious, But In Pain When Shadow Opened her Eyes She Saw Tony.
"Sam, Alisha!" Tony Said Devasted, But Shadow Couldn't Even Talk, She Only Tried To Reach a Shaky hand Out before She passed Out Again.

The Next time Shadow Woke Up She Was On a Stretcher heading for The Sick Bay as Tony Natasha and Cap Wheeled Her Their With Natasha Shouting, "Jarvis, Prep the Sick Bay."
Followed by Cap Saying, "We need to Run a full Diagnostic Work up."
before Passing Out Once More.

The Next Time She Opened Her Eyes Hawkeye was Next to her, "Hold on Sis We're almost there." He Soothed before She Passed out one More.

Now the Team Stood around the Two unconscious Avengers Who were in Hypobaric Chambers To Make Sure they were Stable until they Woke Up from their Temporary Medical Induced Coma.
"Their Stable Now, and Shadow's Wings Are Somehow Okay, She Must Have Tucked them in To Prevent Further Injury, Falcon's Suit took most of the Impact As Did Shadow's Chest." Cap Said, It was True, Tony Remembered Her Talking to him about this, She was Going to Tuck her Wings in to Prevent Further injuries in Case Of Cases Like this.
"He was always Getting his Wings Clipped, I Tweaked them to Withstand a 200 Ft Drop." Tony Said, Obviously Still Guilty About it, "But With Shadow's Chest So Damaged it's Going to Be Hard For her Breathe During Missions and take More Energy out of here" Tony Added Then Turned around.
"Listen Up Avengers. Effective immediately i'm Stepping down As Team Leader." Tony Announced to the Team, Cap Stepped Forward to Speak, "Do you think it's Really the Time for this." Cap Said.
"Time For What?" Tony Asked, "The Whoa it's Me Routine." Hawkeye Replied Until Hulk Stepped in, "I Should Lead."
Everyone Blankly Stared at Hulk, He Only Shrugged, "What? they'd never See that Coming." he Countered, and Hawkeye Just had to Say Something.
"Today has already been filled with So Many Suprises my Brain Literally Cannot Comprehend the Words Coming out of Your Mouth." Hawkeye Said Which only Made Hulk Angry at he Stepped Towards Hawkeye Raising a Green Fist.
"Can it Comprehend my Fist?" Hulk asked Sarcastically, When Natasha Placed a Hand on Hulk's Fist Lowering it. "Stop, This is no time for Jokes." She said Giving a Pointed Look at Tony.
"I'm not Joking Widow." Tony Said, "Every Move the Cabal had Made has Been in Reaction to my Leadership." Tony Countered.
"I'm a Tech Genius, and Cap's a... well a Captain." Tony Continued, "So Why Don't we all Just Stick to what we're Good at Oorah." Tony Finished.
everyone was Shocked at Tony's Lack of Confidence, "Odin's Beard." Thor Said in a State Of Shock, "Couldn't of Said it Better." Hawkeye Agreed.
Truth Be Told, Shadow was Already Healing herself, So in a Few Minutes She'd Be Good as New.
Speaking Of the Devil Shadow Floated Out of the Bed, "Contrary to What you Think, Tony I just Heard Everything You Said." Shadow Reprimanded Tony crossing her arms.
Soon Alarms Of an Alert Just went On, Shadow Looking Away, "Of Course they Have to Strike Now." She Grumbled, Running a Hand along her Chest.
"Jarvis, Show us what's Going on?" Cap Said, "I Cannot Captain Rogers, I have Been Hacked." Jarvis Responded.
"jarvis this is no time For Protocol Cap is officially in Charge–Wait did you say hacked?" Tony Asked Confused.
"The Cabal Most Likely Hacked into Jarvis's System." She Spoke Up, Cap Shook his Head, "Tech isn't My Expertise, Suit Up." He Told Tony.
Tony Shook his head, "No i'll help from here, I wanna Wait for Sam to Wake Up." Tony Replied.
Cap Looked Over to Shadow for Help, "I'll Stay too, With My Chest Damaged there's not Much for me to do, I'll Make Sure He's Okay." Shadow Replied.
The Rest of the Team Took off to Rake Care of the Cabal Problem, While Shadow and Tony Stayed back with the Injured Falcon.
"You Know It's Not Your Fault Right? Your Play Wasn't The Reason We Both Fell, Hyperion is at Fault For Even Throwing Hulk at us." Shadow Said, Wanting to Help Tony With his Guilt.
"I Just feel like Cap Will be Better at this You Know?" Tony Told Shadow, "And Alisha, Your Chest, You Should Be Resting." Tony Said, "Don't Worry I'm using My Healing Powers to Heal It Before I go Back Out." Shadow Said, The Use of her First Name Made her Worry for Her Boyfriend.
But She Only Sighed, Healing her Chest the Best She Could.

Later Cap Came to tell them He Really Needed Her and Tony Out On the Field, They were Running Out Of Options Against The Cabal.
"I'll send Some Shield Agents For Backup Until I figure this Out." Tony Replied, Shadow Shook her head, "Tony I Can Stay Here with Falcon, You Go!" She Said.
Shadow's Wings Fluttered as Falcon Moved Up Shakily Finally Awake, "Sam! your Awake!" Tony Said.
"Yeah and I need to Suit Up." Falcon Said But Tony Shook his Head, "No That's Not a Good Idea." He Argued.
"Our Friends Need us." Falcon Said, Tony Sighed, "So It's Gonna Be That way Huh?" Tony Said, "Well then your Gonna Need this." he Said and Motioned to an Empty Space, Pieces of a Suit Started to Place Themselves On Falcon's body, Assuming a Upgraded Falcon Armor Suit.
Shadow was Gaping at that, "I Upgraded Your Armor While you were Out." Tony Said, Falcon noticed He wasn't Going to Go Out, "What about you?" Falcon Asked, Shadow Silently Shook her Head Motioning for Him to Go, Falcon Understood and Left Immediately to help.
"Alisha?" He Prompted, Shadow Shrugged, "i love you Tony, Wherever your At is Where I Stay Until I Die." She Explained, Tony Nodded.

Shadow And Tony showed up finally With all of his Suits Behind Him, "Welp Guys We're Ready to Kick Some Cabal Butt." Shadow Quipped.
After A While Of Fighting was Flying Above, Battling the Cabal When Tony's Chest until was Damaged, "Tony!" She Cried Out, then Red Skull Abandoned the Cabal.
