As days passed the school still talked of nothing but about Sirius Black on how he got in following his asult on the Fat Lady. Some students suggested he apporated into the school which Harry knew from Hogwarts A History was impossible because only the headmaster was aloud to apperate in or out of the school.

Still, nobody in Gryffindor was happy about Sir Cadogan being the temporary replacment for the Fat Lady. Because he still kept changing the passward trice every day. But Harry and Tom and Jerry knew that none of the other portraits wanted to take the job after what happened to the Fat Lady. Sir Cadogan was the only one brave enough to volentear.

But Sir Cadogan was the least of Harry's worries as were to Tom and Jerry. They found the teachers walking along the corridors with them. And Percy was taming them everywhere like he was their guard dog.

Soon, November had come and so will the first Quidditch match of the year. One day, McGonagall called Harry and Tom and Jerry into her office.

"There's no point on hiding it from you anymore Mr. Potter." She said in a very searious voice. "I know this will come as a shock to you but Sirius Black,"

"We know. He's after me." Said Harry.

"We heard Ginny's dad telling her mum about it." Said Tom.

"Mr. Weasley works for the ministry of magic." Said Jerry,

"Hmm. I see. Well then, in that case you'll understand why I don't think it'll be a good idea for you to do Quidditch training in the evenings. Out on the field with only your team members, it's very exposed."

"Try telling that to Wood." Said Harry. "He's more despret to win the cup now that it's his final year here at Hogwarts."

"Especially sense the first match is on Saterday." Said Jerry.

"I see. I do want to see us win the cup at last. But all the same I'll be happier if a teacher were present. I'll ask Madam Hooch to over see you're training sections."

And so, Madam Hooch was now watching the Gryffindor team in their training sections. Until two days before the match, Wood had some unwelcome news for the team.

"We're not gonna be playing against Slytherin." He said. "We've been switched to play against Hufflepuff instead. Flints excuse was that Malfoy's arm is still not capible enough for him to play. But there's no daught it's because they don't want to play in all this rain."

"I'll say." Said Tom. "There's been a storm happening all day."

"That's true." Said Wood as thunder was heard. "I also know that Malfoy was faking his ingery. But we have no prove of it. We've been trying out all those moves and yet we're going against Hufflepuff. Plus they've got a new caption and seeker. Cedric Diggory."

Angelina and Alicia and Katie giggled.

"What?" Wood asked.

"The tall boy right?" Jerry asked. "Good looking? Strong and silent?"

"That's him." Said Wood.

"I don't know why you're worried Oliver." Said Fred.

"Last time we played Harry caught the snitch in five minutes." Said George.

"But those were different conditions." Said Wood. "Diggory's an excellent seeker. We must not relax. Slytherin is trying to wrong foot us. We must win."

The first Quidditch match was now only a day away. Harry and Tom and Jerry were really looking forward for it.

However, Harry and Tom and Jerry had gotten word from Spike that Buckbeak was going to be put on triel for attacking Draco. So they and Ginny and Neville and Luna told Hagrid that he can count on them as whitnesses.

But besides Buckbeak, Harry and Tom and Jerry had nothing to worry about except the match tomorrow. As Wood kept jumping in between classed to tell Harry tips for the match.

Until on the way to Defence Against The Dark Arts, Lavender Brown was seen upset.

"Lavender what's wrong?" Jerry asked.

"My pet rabbit Binky." She said shobbering. "He died."

"What?" Tom asked. "What happened to him?"

"A fox ate him."

"Say what?!" Shouted Ginny's voice as she and Neville and Luna walked in. "Oh I'm sorry Lavender."

"Don't be." She said to Ginny. "Professor Trelawney predicted that I'd lose something very dear to me on the day before the first Quidditch match. And today's the day before the first Quidditch match. She was right."

"Now I'm really glad we're not taking Divination." Said Neville.

"Yeah. Considering she still won't stop predicing my death." Said Harry.

As soon as Lavender calmed down a bit, they walked into Defence once again ready for Remus' best lessons. But suddonly, the door to the corridor opened and revealed, Lucius Malfoy. Draco's father.

"Ah good. Everyone's here." He said. "Professor Lupin is too ill to teach today. So I'll be filling in for him. Open up to page 394."

"Of all the people to fill him in, it had to be Draco's father." Said Jerry.

"Wearwolves?" Harry asked as he looked at the said page. "Sir. We're not on that level yet."

"You're all too far behind. Now what is the differentces between Anamargi and Wearwolves?"

Harry raised his hand.

"Not you Potter. Someone else? No?"

It was true to everyone that only Harry knows the answer.

"Well you already learned about Anamargi in Transfiguation. But you should know that when a Wearwolf transeforms, especially at a full moon, it no longer remembers who it is. Now I'll expect all of you to have an esae on this by tomorrow."

"Sir it's Quidditch tomorrow." Said Ginny.

"I don't care. Page 394."

"But we've done Boggarts and Red Caps and Grindylows." Said Neville.

"You have no record on what you have been going through. That is Professor Lupin's lack of orginization."

"He's the best teacher we've ever had." Said Dean.

"He's hardly overtaxing you. I would have expected first years to deal with Red Caps and Grindylows. The goveners aloud me to teach for him if he fell ill and that's what I'm doing."

Harry and Tom and Jerry had a suspasion that Lucius had just thretened them again to make sure he'd get to do it.

"But sir." Said Luna. "We're do to start Hinkypunks."

"I am teaching this lesson. And as I said, you're all too far behind! Page 394!"

"We told you." Said Parvati. "We haven't got this far yet."

"Page 394! I never thought I'd meet a third year class who wouldn't even reconize a Wearwolf! I'll tell Dumbledore about how very behind you all are!"

"Sir about the Wearwolf," Harry tried to say but,

"That'll be five points from Gryffindor Potter for being a low mouth Know It All!"

"You ask us a question and Harry knows the answer!" Seamus shouted. "Why ask if you don't want to be told?!"

"Detention tomorrow Mr. Finnigon! And if I ever hear you object the way I teach again, you will be very sorry."

Nobody talked for the rest of the lesson. Everyone took notes on Wearwolves and Mr. Malfoy walked around examening the way Remus was teaching them and was onjecting all of it.

And when the bell finally rang,

"And don't forget that esae!"

The next day, the Quidditch match had started. Do to the rough rain. The players were all wearing goggles that reflected the rain drops so they can still see.

Harry and Tom and Jerry flew past Cedric as he chased affer the snitch. Avoiding Angelina who was shot down by a bolt of lightning. And soon, the snitch took them high up into the sky.

As they went up, Harry and Tom and Jerry caught sight of the same black dog they had met in Little Whinging in the underpass. What was it doing here and why was it high up on the stands?

But the moment they caught up to Cedric, a silince fell across the pitch and horrible farmillier wave of cold swept over them.

Dementors have swarmed onto the pitch. Harry and Tom and Jerry kept going before any of them could reach them.

But just as they had reached the snitch, three of the Dementors flew to them and sucked on their faces and then,

(BARK!)

(MEOW!)

"LILY! IT'S HIM! HE FOUND US! TAKE HARRY AND RUN! I'LL HOLD HIM OFF!"

"No! Not Harry! Take me instead!"

"Step aside silly girl!"

"No! Please! Not Harry!"

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

With the barking of dogs and meowing of cats and the screaming of Lily and James Potter and Voldemort merdering them, Harry and Tom and Jerry fanted and fell off their broom and knew no more.

They fell all the way back to the pitch and everyone gasped at this sight.

Acting quick, Dumbledore shot up from his seat and casted,

"ARRESTO MOMENTUM!"

Harry and Tom and Jerry could hear voices whispering but they made no sence what so ever.

Grooning in pain, Harry and Tom and Jerry woke up in the Hospital Wing and saw the whole Gryffindor team and Ginny and Neville and Luna looking at them.

"Thank goodness you're alright." Said Ginny.

"Mostly alright." Said Tom. "I remember us falling off the broom."

"About 50 feet." Said Alicia who was shaking. "We thought you died."

"Are we replaying the match?" Jerry asked.

"We're not." Wood said upset. "Diggory got the snitch just as you fell. But when he found out what happened, he tried to call in a rematch but Madam Hooch said they won fare and square and he didn't find that fare but Madam Hooch said that it was."

"I can't believe it." Said Harry. "We lost. For the first time ever."

"Come on Harry." Said Neville. "You never missed the snitch before. It was because of the Dementors that you didn't get it. And besides, you only lost to 100 points."

"So if Hufflepuff loses to Ravenclaw by 200 points, and we beat Ravenclaw and Slytherin, we'll be able to win for sure." Said Wood.

"Dumbledore saved you guys with the Slowing Charm." Said Luna. "He was very furieus that the Dementors got in. We've never seen him like that before. He shot silver stuff at the Dementors and they left right away."

"Then he got you three onto a floating stretcher." Said Ginny. "He got you guys here and everyone thought you were dead."

"And one more thing and it's a problem." Said Neville. "When you guys fell, the wind blew your broom into the Whomping Willow."

Fred and George showed them the now recked Nimbus 2000.

"Professor Flitwick recovered as much as he could." Said Wood. "But he said there's no way to fix it."

Harry sighed wishing he had acsses to his family vault now because then he'd be able to afford a Firebolt. The newest and fastest broom in the world.
