"Guy! Hey, Guy, it's your Buddy! Wake up, we gotta talk!" His eyes blinking multiple times after hearing his best friend's door knocking, Guy sat up on the couch and quickly saw that Molotov Girl was no longer sitting beside him. Instead, he could hear the sound of a shower running from the nearby restroom and what he saw placed in front of the door almost made him want to faint again.

Just as Buddy was about to knock again, he halted his hand once the door opened up and Guy motioned for him to make his way into the apartment. "Thanks… listen, I take back every negative comment that I ever gave when you talked about finding 'the girl' cause I think I've found my own in Krystal. She reminds me of like a big mix of honey and-"

"Buddy!" exclaimed Guy, holding up his hands in order for his pal to stop talking. Once the former bank security guard became quiet, Guy began to tell him everything that had happened earlier at the beach up until a few moments ago with Molotov Girl. "... and that's why all those things are by the door."

A confused look appeared on Buddy's face, but after seeing Guy walk over to the door and picking up the pile of clothes to take to the dryer, it was like a light bulb went on above Buddy's head. "Oh my word… d-did the two of y'all just finish… you know, getting your game on?"

"What - nooooooo…. No no no, noooo!" Guy quickly shook his head, and he felt his face starting to heat up like a tomato after figuring out what Buddy had meant. "She was just… I mean, not that I wouldn't mind if she ever… n-no, but I need some help with figuring out how to-"

Buddy laughed and placed a comforting hand on Guy's shoulder. "Hey, I am always available to help out my best friend when he needs it! So you place your hands on her gently like this, right? Then when the mood just hits-"

"NOOOO! NO!" hissed Guy, blushing harder than he had earlier while continuing to prepare the dryer and hoping she wouldn't be able to hear them. "I am not trying to… with her at this moment in time, 'kay? I am concerned because I do not know why or how she ended up in the middle of the ocean this afternoon."

After the dryer was started, Guy led him back to the living room and he paced for a quick moment. "When she woke up, I asked her about it but Millie only remembers calling out to me for help. What should I do, Buddy?"

Seeing the concerned look on his best pal's face, Buddy let out a sigh and pointed out to the window that showed a view of the city's park several miles away. "I do know that y'all both like playing on the swings and eating ice cream, so maybe something will pop back up in her mind while you two are having fun."

"Yes! Now that's why you're my best friend, Buddy!" Guy said, feeling more pleased and less stressed out than he had since first waking up. "And I hate to ask you to do this but I think-"

Buddy stopped Guy's statement by shaking his head and started to make his way out. "I get it, no prob! My own girl's waitin' for me anyway… but just remember - when it's game time, make sure your hands are here or else she'll beat the codes outta you if they're on-"

"HAHA, alright! Thank you for visiting," exclaimed Guy, already beginning to feel the heat return to his face as he hurried Buddy out of the apartment. Once he was gone, the NPC released a huge sigh of relief while Molotov Girl had just opened up the bathroom door from across the room. "Oh, good! You finished up… so since I don't really own any weapons that can blow stuff up, I figured we could go to the park instead. Have some fun on the swing sets and - ohhhh, sweet Jesus."

When Guy turned to look back at Millie, it was almost like the time he first saw her back in Free City except she was currently wearing a bathrobe that fit her body well, and her hands were focusing on combing through her hair as she shook it around. Even the slow-mo effect had come back, but the song that Guy was currently hearing wasn't exactly the same one he listened to every morning.

Touch my body, throw me on the bed

I just wanna make you feel like you never did

Touch my body, know you like my curves

C'mon and give me what I deserve

As for Molotov Girl, once she looked up from having her head down, the avatar character became puzzled at the sight of Guy just simply staring at her like a deer in front of headlights. "Uh, Guy? What - what's wrong?"

"Huh? Oh, no- nothing, it's all fine!" Guy gave a nervous chuckle and nodded over to the jukebox. "Silly music machine playing stuff it isn't supposed to."

Molotov looked back and forth between the two, frowning in confusion while softly scratching the back of her head. "But it hasn't played anything since earlier when I first started to shower."

"..." Guy simply stayed quiet for a bit until taking in and releasing out a deep breath, followed by a sheepish laugh. "Alright so, your clothes are in the dryer. Drying. In the meantime, uh, I'll get us started with some pink bubblegum ice cream."

He walked over to the fridge and opened up the freezer door in order to pull out a 1.12 gallon of their favorite dessert, with Molotov raising her eyebrows in surprise. "Wow! You certainly weren't kidding by an endless amount."

"Oh, yeah it's awesome," replied Guy, nodding and smiling in agreement while getting the scooper tool and waffle cones. "But it feels better sharing it with y… well, someone you care a lot about."

Normally, Guy would've said something different and was honestly overjoyed with happiness at the fact she was in his home waiting patiently for some ice cream, but part of him felt like he was being selfish and going back on his statement from a week ago when he said what she had wanted to tell him about how it wasn't right for her to spend all of her life in the game. Eventually she'll remember why she needed to come back here, and after I help her with whatever she needs, it'll be just like before she returned. Walking by myself on the beach. Remembering her in my sweet fantasies.

As he quietly handed over Molotov her ice cream cone, Guy put back the gallon in the freezer and stood opposite from her at the counter, but he didn't expect to have his free hand be grasped gently by her own. Seeing him look up at her with a confused expression, the beautiful avatar gave a warm smile and slowly moved her thumb alongside his. "Guy, I know things are probably… complicated, to say the least… but I do not intend to go anywhere. I came back for a reason, and I know you'll be able to help figure out what it is exactly."

Hearing that definitely lowered Guy's stress levels and raised his comfort ones, but the small part of nervous guilt still remained. Still, it wasn't going to stop him from enjoying the now. "Thanks, Millie… one quick question, though. Did you ever find the guy who wrote the letter?"

We can chase the sunset

A night we'll never forget

Rodeo to Fifth Avenue

I just wanna waste away with you

A soft chuckle escaped from her mouth, and after taking another lick of the delicious ice cream, Molotov gave a small shrug. "Like I said… it's complicated. But I've got a pretty good feeling about it."

Away, way, let's run away, way

Let's run away, way no

The two of them continued to enjoy their scoops of ice cream, with an amused Millie thinking that she could understand what Guy had meant about the jukebox playing music randomly… even though he hadn't heard anything since she'd came out from the shower.
