CHAPTER 2: the /
Mario flipped on the TV. It was almost time to watch Kitchen Nightmares.
"Wahoo!" Mario giggled as he shoved popcorn down his gullet, his uvula flapping back and forth with anticipation.
Just then, a popcorn kernel grazed said uvula. Mario cried out in agony and fell to the floor. He screamed out to the heavens and his brother quickly rushed in, dressed up as a guardian angel with a very large nose.
"MARIO!" shrieked the green one.
Mario's uvula retaliated, expanded and exited from between his pursed lips. Luigi was horrified and grabbed the samurai sword from above the mantel.
"GIVE ME SUSTENANCE! I DEMAND A SACRIFICE!" roared the uvula.
Luigi swung the sword and lopped off the horrid parasite. It howled and crawled into the corner, leaving behind a trail of bloody saliva.
Mario arose and rubbed his sore back throat with his prehensile tongue. "Luigi... he rasped hoarsely. "What was that fateful occurrence?"
Luigi grit his teeth until they all fell out and hit the ground thirty-two times.
It was going to be the beginning of a looooooong night...
