Project Lupa Assassins vs the Pack chronicles CHAPTER 16
Horrified, Skye was horrified at what had happened, she had made up with Bobbie and was currently in her arms lying on their bed. It had been two days since Maria claimed dominance over her and then Alex. She could still feel this overwhelming need to please her in the back of her head although when around Bobbie it lessened. She was still to make up with May but was scared to, she had shouted at her, cursed her called her a horrible name she needed to apologise she knew she should but she was scared to see the disappointment. Turns out May was not one to wait as the next day she took Skye to the gym they had a spar and she told her that things were fine between them. Skye suspected that May only sparred with her for her benefit that she had already been fine but this way Skye could accept it. Skye couldn't met any of the other's eyes for three days, she found herself willing to help them if they needed anything she would do it Clint and Hunter took advantage of it for 2 hours then after a quick word from Natasha both backed down. Skye and Alex didn't really talk about what they did, they were still connected with each other they didn't need to verbalise it both knew how the other was feeling. Skye would always look to Maria when she entered the room, seeing if she needed her to do anything when she did this she sensed Bobbie move closer to her but was not sure why she did it. Skye didn't care how the others thought it was weird how she wanted to please Maria or why she would look to her for instructions. Alex was the same although she spent a lot of her time with Sharon in their room and would only come out when called upon. Skye found it fascinating how she could sense Maria even more then before she just knew what she was feeling which Skye liked because that made it easier on her to help her. Nick visited them and brought three doctors with him, they poked and prodded her with needles asking so many questions hooked her up to a machine and made her run while taking notes. Coulson and Jemma were there they did not seem happy about this. Maria was not there she was in a meeting with Nick. Alex was doing the same thing as her but Natasha was with her. Skye was surprised that neither Bobbie nor Sharon were there that day they had left the house earlier.
"That's enough!" Maria stated entering the room, Skye stopped what she was doing and turned to look at her.
"Maria!" Nick stated Skye could tell there was a warning in his tone but she stood defiantly.
"No, I told you when I did this what would happen. You have done the basics so that is enough. No more." Maria stated the doctor looked to Nick who was still looking at Maria, Skye started taking off the wires they had attached to her, Maria had said no more so no more. Skye ignored the doctor and moved over to Maria she felt as though she should stand next to her. A clatter came from next door, Maria and the others went to see Alex was holding the doctors arm which had a needle in it.
"Maria said no more so no more." Alex stated taking the needle out of his hand.
"Alex, release him." Maria told her so she did he ended up losing his balance
"I do not like needles. I think you should know that." Alex told him before walking over to Natasha.
"You will keep me apprised." Nick told her after a long meeting in her office with Coulson and Natasha. Skye and Alex were in the lounge with Jemma, Leo, Wanda and Pietro. Skye and Alex looked to Maria but she intentionally would not look at them instead she walked Nick out to his car. Natasha walked over to Alex and took her down to the gym to work out, she even pulled Wanda and Pietro into her session. May ended up taking Skye to work on her theory for flying.
They had a meeting with the other packs, it would be the first time since Alex joined the pack that they would all be in the same room including Nick, he had joined them after the initial imprint only because he was interested in the response to a mark of domination like this and his poker face was very good that Maria actually couldn't get a response out of him, he only told her to keep him updated of this development. As if she wouldn't. Maria noticed an immediate change in both Alex and Skye's behaviour after the bite, how they would both turn to her and wait for an order she had to keep telling them to relax and do their own thing. Alex and Skye still trained daily but Maria didn't watch, it was clear their relationship with her and even the pack had changed, if one asked them to do something they would do it, Skye had become slightly timid around May and Coulson and tense around Natasha. Alex remained quiet and preferred to stay with Sharon over the others, they had a movie night and Maria could feel that Alex was uncomfortable but remained still throughout the movie. During their run as a pack through the woods both Alex and Skye were pushovers for the others letting them lead. Maria could still feel that both Alex and Skye had a need to protect each other when a wolf from Victoria's pack made a comment to Skye Alex had defended her she broke his writs and dislocated his shoulder. Maria realised that their Oztark bond was still their and if Maria was not around it was on power with their wolves but once Maria or even Natasha was there it was as if it had disappeared and both girls would become reliant on them for their instructions. Maria had Skye walking on one side of her and Alex on the other she had already informed them that they wouldn't be fighting anyone today and had told them to stay close. That they should not take in whatever the packs would say about them, and not to take the bait. As they walked down the hall to the meeting room she couldn't help but note that both girls faces were expressionless, she couldn't help but compare them to assassins in that instant.
