It was a sunny day at the Museum of Natural History in New York while it looked like plenty of young kids were there as they were interacting with the kids. Louie and Cecilia were there to help out as Captain Neweyes and Dr. Juliet Bleeb were there as it was another normal day at the museum.
It was slightly after twelve o'clock noon and everything was looking like the kids were kind and the four dinosaurs were ether able to make the kids laugh, the kids would learn more about dinosaurs, history and even science in ways they could understand.
"Louie, Cecilia, are all the kids alright?" asked Captain Neweyes.
The two kids were looking around and saw that most of or all the kids were looking like they were completely fine and nothing was bothering them.
"Looks like they're all okay." answered Louie.
"Louie." came Elsa's voice.
The beautiful female Pterodactyl was near Louie and Cecilia who had a concerned look on her face.
"How's it going up there in the sky?" joked Louie.
"Clear blue skies and not a cloud up there." joked Elsa. "Louie, I think one of the kids is...well."
Elsa pointed in one direction that they looked and not only did Elsa, Louie, Cecilia, Juliet, Neweyes and the other dinosaurs turned to see that there was one of the kids that was alone.
It looked like this one kid just arrived. He was looking like he might be older, probably eleven or twelve years of age. It was a boy who had long, thick, full, voluminous looking, brown curly hair that was down to his shoulders, he was probably over five feet tall and tallest out of most of the kids. He wore what looked like polarized sports sunglasses that had reddish gold lenses. He had on green camouflage T-shirt and a black hoodie jacket, blue jean pants and black leather boots.
The boy was alone and looked as though he could've been the shy type or at least that's what they were assuming at first. Judging from how his clothes looked and his appearance. The boy looked like he was one of them cool kids who dressed in cool clothes.
"Did he just arrive?" asked Elsa.
"Looks like it." answered Cecilia.
"Maybe I could bring him over to Rex and the rest of the dinosaurs." Juliet suggested.
"Maybe we should wait a minute. He looks like the shy type." Louie assumed.
That's when they looked and saw Elsa walking over to the boy who they didn't expect and Elsa was about to get the kid's attention.
"Hey there sugar." greeted Elsa.
The boy turned to see Elsa and his emotions were not showing surprise at first as if he had no idea he was looking at a dinosaur. A real, living, breathing dinosaur. He was silent at first as the boy was thin and slim.
"Wouldn't you prefer to be with the other kids?" asked Elsa.
"Am I in the Museum of Natural History? At least that's what my mother told me when she brought me here." the boy asked.
The boy's voice was kind of deep for his age but it was still soft enough to reveal that he is still a kid. Elsa chuckled with a grin as if she found a lost child.
"You're in the right place, no doubt, honey." chuckled Elsa. "You can see you're way around if you probably took your shades off."
"Can't take them off for a while. I apologize ma'am." said the boy. "You're in front of me, are you?"
"I am. You can see me, can you?" said Elsa.
The boy let out a cough as if trying to hide a snicker. But his cheeks turned a bright red as he blushed. Elsa figured the boy was shy as Louie assumed. She reached out to take hold of the boy's hand but without warning, the boy took hold of Elsa's hand as if he could sense that he hand was coming. This caught Elsa off guard.
"Ma'am, no offense but you're skin is feeling scaly. Are you wearing some sort of gloves that feel like reptile's skin?" asked the boy as he appeared to be trying not to be rude.
Elsa was laughing a bit as she believed the boy didn't notice that she was a dinosaur or that he was talking to one.
"Are you able to tell that you're talking to a dinosaur, sweetie?" chuckled Elsa. "Are you able to see through your sunglasses?"
The boy started to try and speak but nothing came out of his mouth, not a word, no sound ether. Elsa was seeing that he was appearing to be afraid, as if afraid to say something. Elsa could tell that the boy was feeling a sense of shyness or fear or embarrassed about something he was going through. She reached out to placed her hand on his chest as if to feel his heart rate and his heart was beating a little faster.
"If something is bothering you, than you can tell me, sugar." reassured Elsa.
The boy took in a breathe and tried to swallow his fear or embarrassment.
"Watashi wa me ga mienai." the boy said slowly.
Elsa didn't know what he said as she didn't know Japanese.
"Translation honey?" asked Elsa.
"I can't..." said the boy slowly.
"You can't what?" asked Elsa.
"I can't...see." said the boy finally. "I'm blind."
Hearing this had Elsa feeling a little bad for the kid. He was blind, no wonder he didn't react when he looked at her, it explained why he didn't know he was talking to a dinosaur when he looked at her. That explains why he didn't recognize her. She placed her hand on his shoulder as if to show compassion.
"I'm sorry little one." said Elsa showing sympathy.
"I'm not permanently blind though." the boy revealed. "I know it's kind of saddening but a couple of months ago my vision was fading. But doctors did a procedure on my eyes to give me back my sight. I was going to be visually impaired for two weeks. They said my vision would be fully restored."
This felt like a reassuring sign of hope for Elsa. The boy wasn't permanently blind and his sight would return soon. The female dinosaur placed her hand on the boy's cheek which the boy himself blushed deeper and let out of breathy chuckle.
"What's your name, baby?" asked Elsa.
"Ichigo." the boy revealed. "And your name, madam?"
"I'm Elsa." Elsa introduced. "Want to come meet the others?"
Elsa was about to lead him but Ichigo shown hesitancy which she could tell that he was showing signs of being afraid. She smiled and went in to plant a kiss to his cheek which made Ichigo shown a blushing grin.
"I'll lead sweetie. You're safe by my side." reassured Elsa.
As Elsa led Ichigo towards the other dinosaurs. Ichigo felt his fear fade away as he felt like he was in safe hands with Elsa. Louie and Cecilia could tell that Elsa had calmed the boy enough to trust her.
"Awww. Elsa's got him feeling better." said Cecilia looking proud.
"She does have a way with kids." said Louie.
Elsa lead Ichigo to the other dinosaurs till they made it to their side. The other kids could tell that Ichigo was probably having some kind of disability since they saw Elsa was leading Ichigo over or they assumed he was shy or afraid.
"Elsa, looks like you brought a new arrival." said Rex.
"Careful with this one Rex, he's recovering from a surgical procedure so he's going to be temporarily visually impaired." Elsa informed. "This is Ichigo."
Rex extended his long, thick and wide tail as the tip of his tail was placed on Ichigo's right shoulder. Which Ichigo quickly placed a hand on the tail.
"Aisatsu!" Ichigo greeted. "I wish I could actually see you."
The kids let out a sympathetic "Awww" as they shown their sympathy towards him. Elsa felt her maternal instincts kicking in as she wanted to help Ichigo feel better which she gently placed a hand on Ichigo's shoulder and pulled him in her arms while her wings were wrapped around him as well. What happened next had left everyone surprised as if seeing that something really cool happened.
Elsa smiled and went in to plant her soft and full lips to Ichigo's lips in a kiss. Ichigo's mind suddenly felt like static electricity was running through his mind and body. This was probably his first kiss which once Elsa's lips pulled off his. Ichigo felt something strange happening. The kids let out an impressed "Whoa" and Ichigo's vision was starting to clear and it was rapidly clearing up.
"I've been kissed by a dinosaur." Ichigo thought to himself.
That's when Ichigo's vision slowly went from dark and blank to seeing the light go inside his eyes and he started to see the silhouettes of the others and even the dinosaurs themselves and it wasn't long till his sight went from blurry to seeing all sorts of colors and he could finally see everything around him. His vision was clear as day and it seemed to have come back the second that Elsa smooched him.
"He got kissed by a dinosaur." some kids whispered.
Ichigo could see everything perfectly but he had no idea why. He assumed maybe the two weeks were up or maybe it was something else. But now that he could see Rex, Elsa, Woog and Dweeb. He could see all four of the dinosaurs and even with his sunglasses on, the expression on his face shown he was blown away at who he saw.
"Elsa, I'm looking at living, breathing, actual real dinosaurs right in front of me and not wax figures, am I?" said Ichigo his mouth almost fell open.
Elsa looked at Ichigo and he finally took his sunglasses off and revealed he had amber colored eyes that were almost gold. Ichigo felt his heart racing as fast as his mind was racing.
"You mean you can see?" asked Elsa looking hopeful.
"I don't know what happened, I still have till the end of this day for my sight to be back to normal but..." Ichigo paused.
Ichigo turned to see Elsa and he could see her. That's when his heart felt as though it was smitten by the beautiful female Pterodactyl that stood before him. His face was naturally stoic but there was a hint of surprise as he was wide eyed for a brief moment.
"Nanite kotoda!" Ichigo uttered. "The one dinosaur I see as my favorite species of dinosaurs and she's the most beautiful one I ever saw."
Elsa could tell that Ichigo was now feeling a little shy now that he could see completely clear as day. Seeing his cheeks blush as deep as possible shown that he was telling the truth about Elsa being so beautiful and being his favorite species of dinosaur. She gave a blushing grin and Ichigo nearly tripped as he immediately embraced the female Pterodactyl which she hugged him back.
Afterwards, Ichigo was interacting with the other kids and the dinosaurs with the reassuring encouragement from Elsa. Woog and Dweeb were able to make Ichigo laugh, Rex appeared to be able to make Ichigo laugh, taught him a few things that were kind of cool for anyone to learn. Rex even knew how to give him a confidence boost when ever his shyness would overcome him. Ichigo had fun that day and felt like he stood taller than ever in his life from how confident he felt thanks to how loving, supportive and encouraging Rex, Elsa, Woog and Dweeb have been.
"Looks like Elsa gave him a confidence boost. That's sweet of her." said Cecilia.
"Not to sound immature or anything but I think Elsa likes him." said Louie.
"She does have a way with kids like a maternal figure." said Captain Neweyes taking notice.
"Let's hope his teen years go better than ours because puberty wasn't fun." said Juliet.
"I'll admit, puberty was the toughest time for anyone. But at least you only go through it once." said Captain Neweyes in agreement.
As the hours passed and it was getting close to closing time. The kids started to leave the museum with their parents but Ichigo's mother was taking a little longer which he was waiting with Neweyes, Juliet, Louie, Cecilia, Rex, Elsa, Woog and Dweeb.
"So you said your name is...?" asked Louie.
"Ichigo." Ichigo told him.
"So you were recovering from a surgical procedure done on your eyes to heal from a cause to blindness from what you've explained?" said Cecilia.
"That I was. I'll admit, I was afraid I'd go blind forever or that the surgery wouldn't do any good or that I was afraid to die during the procedure." Ichigo admitted while blushing. "But two people got me through it."
"Who were these two people?" asked Rex curiously.
"First off, my mother." Ichigo admitted.
"And the other?" asked Juliet.
"Our lord and savior." Ichigo revealed. "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
They were silent for a moment before speaking. Judging from what Ichigo told them. They figured he had to be someone who believed in God.
"My mom figured that I could use some cheering up by coming here and seeing the new exhibit but my eye sight wasn't due to show signs of being fully restored within less than twenty-four hours from now." Ichigo explained while he looked at Elsa and the other dinosaurs. "But I think I know why my eye sight came back earlier than planned. If I was to see anyone first after my eye sight came back. I'm glad it was all four of you."
The four dinosaurs smiled as they felt admired by Ichigo's words about who he wanted to see first once his sight was back. A couple of them blushing.
"Whoever is his mother. She's raising a sweet child." said Dweeb.
"He sure is a good kid." said Woog.
"I get that from my mom." said Ichigo blushing.
"Ichigo!" came a ladies voice.
They all turned to see a tall and slender young adult woman who had hair like Ichigo, same eyes as his and she appeared to be in her early thirties. She appeared to be Ichigo's mother.
"Looks like it's my time to go." said Ichigo.
"Want me to walk you over to her?" Elsa offered.
"I appreciate the offer but I'll take it from here." said Ichigo politely.
Ichigo turned to the four dinosaurs and four humans as he gave them all a salute for a brief moment.
"Mata au made." said Ichigo. "In Japanese it means until we meet again. I'm glad I got to meet all of you. Seeing real dinosaurs in person is the most beautiful sight I've ever seen."
"We'll be seeing you later, sugar." said Elsa.
As Ichigo nodded once, he turned to walk over to his mother but stopped, he was a mere seventeen feet away till he turned and ran towards them as he embraced Elsa one last time who in turn embraced him.
"I'll be back again some time. I'm glad that you and your friends are the first people I saw when my sight came back." Ichigo whispered to Elsa.
Elsa smiled and once Ichigo faced her, she gave him another kiss to his lips which her big and full lips were soft to the touch and being able to see her smooch him had Ichigo's world spin and go off like fireworks during the finale of the fourth of July fireworks show. After she pulled her lips off his in a loud pop, it left him blushing with a grin and he turned to return to his mother while he let out a happy squeal.
"Ichigo, how did it go?" asked Ichigo's mother.
"Mom, we got to come here more often. My sight came back early and I saw the most beautiful part of the museum's newest exhibit." said Ichigo looking happy and confident.
As Ichigo and her mother embraced one another. They left. Ichigo walked taller that day. He made some friends, got his first kiss from Elsa, his sight came back earlier than planned but they wondered why did his sight come back fully restored and clear as day? Ichigo confirmed it as a miracle from the Heavens or that Elsa giving him his first kiss was what brought on that miracle. But most importantly of all. Ichigo felt like he had a crush on Elsa while Elsa felt her heart beating faster for Ichigo as she became emotionally involved and taken a liking to him. It was quite an incredible day for Ichigo which he would return to the museum like other kids would.
