SEASON 1 EPISODE 3 - DISPOSSESSED
I was helping the Bjorn cutting fish when a man on a horse came by "Hello you are Ragnar Lothbrok's son, Bjorn I remember you from the thing" he said as we stopped and turned around "Yes" I said as I went back to cutting the fish "Where is your father?" He asked as Lagertha could hear us talking to someone"Bjorn, Rekka who are you talking to?" She asked as she came out to us and grabbed an axe ready to kill him if needed.
"I was just asking your son where Ragnar Lothbrok might be?" Asked the man as I looked at the knives and the fish. "He's gone fishing" I yelled as they all looked at me "Oh fishing he's gone fishing," he said as we went to stand with lagatha.
"in that case i must take someone for insurity" he said as he looked at me "in case " he said as he was looking at me "in case?" my aunt asked "incase your husband has not gone fishing, you" he said as he grabbed me by the arm
Bjorn looked at lagatha in shock "no you carnt take her " he yelled as the man picked me up and tried to carry me away i took out the little knife that my father had gived me and put it towards his neck and was about to slice it when Lagertha pulled me back to her, he then took a little boy on his horse and rode away.
I was down by the harbour getting more fish for dinner when i saw my father in the crowd "father" i yelled as I ran to him and gave him a hug "Rekka go back to bjorn and lagatha" i will be with you soon" he said as i left and ened up back at the hut.
"THERE BACK, THERE BACK" i yelled as Auntie lagatha stopped me "what do you mean?" she asked as i smiled "i just saw father him and Ragnar were summond by the Earl" i said as we hugged and we couldnt wait to see them again.
I was helping Gyda when uncle Ragnar came up behind us and made a chicken noise "Uncle Ragnar" I yelled as he kissed us on the forehead, "so where is all the tresure you promised?" asked lagatha aftee she had kissed him "the earl took it all for himself "he said as i pulled a face.
"priest this is my family as we walked up to him "his name is Athelstan, although he is a foreigner he speaks our language"he said as Ragnar grabbed Bjorns hand and put it on his head.
"what is wrong with your head?" Bjorn asked he touched it as i looked at the ground "when we become monks ,they cut our hair, it marks us out" he said as i looked at him.
"if your a priest , which god do you like the best" i asked as we got to see him "look at his feet" said Bjorn as we went inside for dinner "Uncle ragnar where is my father?" i asked as he shrugged and Lagatha sent us off to bed.
The next evening we were all having dinner together when Ragnar was telling us that they were going to sail to england again.
I looked at my father "but you just got home after a year there is no way you are leaving me again" i said as Father looked at me "we have to go back" he said as i threw my bowl on the ground and walked out "Rekka" father yelled as i took out my knife and held it againt his neck "why are you leaving me again?"i asked as he moved the knife from his neck "Rekka you are my beautful daughter"
"how soon is that?" asked Lagatha as i was prodded awake by Bjorn "tomorrow" he said as Lagatha turned and looked at him "we all wish you success. we will sacrsfise to Odin " she said as Ragnar smiled at her " Are you not coming?" he asked as her face fell
"What? she asked as Ragnar wanted her to go with them "But the farm, the children?" she asked as Uncle walked to the table "Bjorn is still too young, although he can help on the farm" he said as Bjorn wasnt Happy.
"But who is to be in charge?" shouted Bjorn as father looked at Athelstan "the priest I will leave him with a key" he said as Bjorn stood up "Father! You cannot place a slave above me, your natural son" he yelled as he then left and came to find me
" I don't regard him as a slave he's a responsible person" said Ragnar as i was shocked "we bearly know him" i said as Athelstan wanted to speak "Please, Ragnar Lothbrok, don't do this" he said as Rangar went to Gyda
"What do you think, Gyda?" he asked as he touched Gydas face "I don't mind I like the priest" she said as Ragnar "then it is decided" he said as they left "If any harm befalls my children or nice , I will tear the lungs out of your body, priest" said Lagatha as she followed Ragnar and Athelstan ser us to bed.
SEASON 1 EPISODE 4~TRIAL
As father, uncle Ragnar and aunt Lagertha went to raid a church in England. Me , Bjorn and Gyda were stuck with Athelstan back at the farm house as we were feeding the goats"Do you have any family, priest?' I asked while Athelstan petted the goat.
"I had four brothers and a sister they all died of a fever, like my mother and father I was only saved because they had me placed in a monastery when I was just a child They had too many mouths to feed" he said as i looked at Gyda 'So you are alone?" she asked as we turned round and put water in the bowl for the goat.
"No God is my father, so I am never alone" he said as we asked him more questions "What does your god look like?" asked Gyda as i rolled my eyes and went off to find Bjorn but instead i found lily who was making flower headbands and daisy chains so went and sat with her, after a while of dancing in the field and making flower headbands it was getting dark so we decided to go home.
When i arrived home Gyda was doing the washing "Gyda look what i made for you" i said putting the flower headband on her head we then started dancing around until Bjorn and Athelstan "what are you two doing dancing around" said Bjorn as i put a flower headband on his head and he took it off and rolled his eyes.
We were al sat at dinner when me and Bjorn decided that we wanted to see our fathers "we want to go to Kattegat. I want to see my father return soon he must return soon" I said as Athelstan gave me this look I gave your father my word that I would look after you all here" he said as Bjorn wasnt happy by that comment "You are not looking after us we look after ourselves" said Bjorn as he was getting angry I grabbed his arm and he pulled away "I cannot allow you to go on your own to Kattegat your father would never tolerate such a thing" said Athelstan as we were about to eat "Then we should go together, the four of us" he said as i ate my dinner.
"Who will then look after the farm?" he asked as he then started praying. "For what we are about to receive, may the lord make us truly grateful Amen" he said as we looked at him strangely.
He poured a cup of ale and and gave one to bjorn "Rekka would you like some ale?" asked Bjorn as i nodded so he passed me his cup Athelstan was looking at me "can i have some ale?" asked Gyda as Athelstan took a drink.
"your too young Gyda to drink Ale" said Athelstan as i gave my cup to her and she had a drink and gave it back. " i want to make a sacrafise to Thor, for my fathers safe return" said bjorn as i agreed with him "what will you sacrifice" mocked Athelstan and i got up from the table now angry "you" i yelled and me and Bjorn chucked our bowls and cups on to the floor and then left.
I was asleep in my bed with my hand over Bjrons faceand my flowery headband still on "Bjorn ,Bjorn, wake up" said Athelstan as i was snoring loudly "What is it?" He asked exaperedly "We'll go to Kattegat all of us, tomorrow" he said as he left and went back to sleep.
"No no Ragnar" i yelled as i was in England in a cage with my Uncle who was about to die "throw him in the snake pit" said the king as i started screaming "get him out no" i yelled as Athelstan shook me awake. We headed to Kattegat and i saw father "my ladybird ,how you have grown" he said as he put my hood up and father put his up. We headed into a hut.
You summoned me, lord?" Said Rollo as we took our hoods off "Yes, I want to talk to you Please sit Drink It's, um It's a delicate matter", said the earl as they gave father ale.
"You are the brother of Ragnar Lothbrok, are you not?" Asked the earl as I rolled my eyes "obivously" i said as i tried to take my fathers ale but he battered away my hand.
"A spirited man, your brother Is he a fair man?" he asked as we were confused "Does he treat you equally when you sail with him?" he asked again as "Up to a point" said father as I pulled a face
"Forgive me, but I think that he likes to rule you And that whatever he says, in actual fact, he considers himself to be first among equals. Am I correct?" he said as we sat there in Silence.
"I get the impression that he wants to take the credit for everything for building the boat, for sailing west he wants to be the hero is that what it comes down to him Would he have achieved what he has achieved if it wasn't for you?" he said as we still sat there in silence as he went on "What do you say, Rollo?" he asked
Of course not. It would have been impossible. As long as I am Earl, Ragnar Lothbrok can give you nothing. I, on the other hand, can give you a great deal. I could, for example, confiscate the treasure that you brought back from england... And offer you a goodly portion of it. Would you do that, lord? I might. Depends.

"This is my daughter, Thyri she is soon to get married and I must think very carefully about her future husband", said Haraldson as i was shocked "my father is not marrying her.", i yelled as he stamped on my foot "im guessing this is your daughter," said the earl Harrelson as my father looked at me "this is my daughter Rekka," he said as i put up my hood got up and left.
After the meeting we met up with Bjorn, Gyda, lagertha as we waited to see what happens to Ragnar "Look at him he's in chains" said Bjorn as i grabbed his hand "It's an all right boy" said Ragnar as they went about how he killed Kanut the crowd was in an uproar.
"Silence! Silence" yelled Svein thst calmed down the crowd "What do you have to say, when you stand before us and know that you must tell the truth?" asked Haraldson "It is that true that I killed Knut, sadly, your brother but I killed him when I found him trying to rape my wife," said Ragnar as i Bjorn was squeezing my hand "Bjorn its gonna be okay i know it is, ive seen it", i said as he slightly loosened his grip.
" wife of Ragnar Lothbrok? I am, lord how extraordinary that you happened to be there at the same time" he said as i was now fed up of listening to the earl "Your husband is lying and you are so under his thumb that he has persuaded you to lie for him" he snapped when i had, had enough. "May Thor strike you dead" i yelled when father put his hand over my mouth. Everyone looked at me they then let Ragnar go.
We were having a party and the crowd buzzed with chatter and there were Lively music plays and i was drinking and dancing and Bjorn we were very drunk "Come, Bjorn, Rekka" as we sat down with Lagertha and i went to sleep. I was woken up by the door being burst open and a man walked in "Ragnar Lothbrok?" He said as we were shocked "I am unarmed" said Ragnar as the rest of the men came in their Swords ring and they're unsheathed "Get the children" said Ragnar as we were rushed out of the room.
