SEASON 1 EPISODE 5~ RAID

I was helping Bjorn carry things to the boat and Lagertha and Gyda were inside making dinner and knitting when we heard screaming and arrows coming down around us "Aghh" screamed the man who had died with an Arrow in his heart, we could hear the horses coming to us as we ran into the house. "We're under attack," said Lagertha as she grabbed a knife "Gyda, Bjorn, Rekka," said Lagetha as I ran inside "Get Bjorn," she said as Athelstan went and got him as I took his hand "Take this," she said passing Athelstan an axe as she passed me a bow with some arrows and a weapon to Gyda we all stood there in defending our home.

"What shall we do? Should we run?" said Bjorn "No, we stay Your father will be back," she said as she held up her axe " But there are too many of them," I said as Lagertha turned around "Stay strong be ready," she said as I held up my bow ready to shoot.

We were ready for them to break the door down and kill us "father" yelled Bjorn as he wandered into the house "he's hurt" I said as I took him under his arm " We have to go now" he said as he opened the secret door for us "What's happening?" asked Lagertha I grabbed on to Gydas hand "Father please tell me?" said Bjorn as we were ushered through.

"what about my father?" I asked as he looked at me "Rollo will be okay, we have to get to the boat" he said as I shook my head "not without my father" I said as Lagertha as she went to talk to him "are you coming?" she asked as he ignored her "Go quickly, Gyda, Rekka Come on, boy" he said as I tried to pull Bjorn with me but he let go of my hand "Father, I won't go without you" he argued as Ragnar grabbed him "Boy, don't argue!" he yelled as I took Bjorn hand again and dragged him with me.

We crawled into the space to the beach and got to the boat we all got in a laid down "father I want my father" I said as Bjorn and Gyda grabbed my hands we all got up and saw the house burning we laid back down on the boat and waited for as we sailed away. we saw him standing on the cliff and he jumped he got into the water "where is he?" asked Lagertha as I saw him in the water "he's there" I said pointing to him in the water as Athelstan jumped in "he dead isn't he" said Bjorn, as we dragged him in from the water.

we, got to Floki's house as we all prayed to fryr that he will ok. I was sitting with uncle Ragnar "I'm going back to find my father" I said as he looked at me "even in trouble you still have the flowers on your head" he said as I smiled pulled my cloak around me and put on my hood up and walked out of the door.

When I had got back home I saw my father I ran to him and hugged him " are you alright?" he asked as I told him everything that had happened "he's gonna find you father and he will kill you" I said after we had had dinner and he had read me a story and I fell asleep. The next morning father was going to see the Earl and I followed him " father" I said as he looked around at me as I held on to his hand " is that the bride?" I asked as he nodded dragging me behind him to speak the earl

"why don't you go and dance," he said kissing me on the forehead as ran off to dance I was dancing with a boy of my age when father disappeared out of my sight "So, what do you want to talk about?" asked Earl Haraldson I don't want your thugs, like these fellows, following me and my daughter around everywhere it's a waste of everyone's time," said the father as he looked for me in the crowd.

"Oh, I disagree if you lead them to Ragnar Lothbrok it will be time well spent," said Earls I beckon me to his side "Ragnar is dead," said my father as the earl looked smug "Do you swear that on your arm-ring?" he asked as my father shook his head " no in my heart he is dead," he said as he looked at me and raised my eyebrows.

we ended up going to a wooden hut where I was told to wait outside when my father went in I could see through the door that Siggy was in their father then went up and kissed her as she pulled away "No. No" she said as father looked confused "I was sure" he said as she interrupted him "I've come to warn you, you must take your daughter and leave at once today my husband, he hates you" she said as I was shocked "He has shown me nothing but respect since I came here" said my father as she grabbed him by the arm "Rollo, believe me, Getaway" she said as she kissed him again.

As we walked out we were met with some of the earls men who then tried to fight him and one of the men grabbed me "no get off me" I yelled as I was carried away from my father. I was suddenly lying on my front with being whipped on my back the blood coming down as they splashed a bucket of water on him and woke him up.

"no get off me", I yelled as father was woken by a bucket of water to hear me screaming " get off her what are you doing to my daughter" he yelled as he could hear me screaming and whipping on my back "father' I yelled as he was now knocked out.

They dragged me outside and threw me on the snowy ground and I was in pain but I had managed to get up and walk through the mashes when I collapsed onto the ground with the band of flowers thst were round my head had come off and were now lying in the bloody snow.

I was now freezing cold and a man found me on the ground and helped me up and took me back to his house. "Rekka" yelled Bjorn as he hugged me as I winced when he touched my back and saw the blood going through my shirt. " I found her wandering around the marshes," said Floki as Helga saw all the blood down my back. "I got lost" I yelled as I had tears rolling down my cheeks father sent me to see Siggy and she played a trick on him" I yelled as Bjorn put a blanket around me as I winced in pain again.

"they took him, trying to find where you were, he wouldn't tell them, then they started to beat and torture him and they did this to me I said as I pointed at my back and they had whipped me," I said as Lagertha looked at my back when she lived up my top and saw the blood. I was lying on my stomach as they pulled up my shirt and Ragnar was holding my hands "this is going the hurt" said Helga as she put some potion on my back to sooth it, after a while, I had fallen asleep.

SEASON 1 EPISODE 6~ BURIAL OF THE DEAD

I was standing with my father who had his arms round me while we waited for Ragnar they were by the dock they walked over and he looked at us.

"Don't look so worried" said Ragnar as we i looked over at Athelstan "This is a personal combat, the combatants can choose any weapon and shield they desire. Each man has two shields if both are broken, there can be no further replacement" said Svein

they dropped their shields n the ground and picked up their weapons and began to fight " kill him uncle" i said as they were hitting each other with axes and weapons until Ragnar hit the earl and he went down Rangar was talking to him and he grabbed the end of the axe and slit his wrist. Siggy the earl's wife ran over to stop the bleeding when he moved his hands away.

never the less we will swear uncle" i said as he touched my cheeks "i swear i will be true to you, your wife and your family" we said at the same time Uncle Ragnar pulled out an arm ring "this is just for you" he said as he put it on my arm "thank you uncle" I said as I looked at father "as long as your good fortune holds" father said as we laughed.

the Viking funeral of the old earl was the next day there was fighting and the sacrifice of one of his slaves i was walking around with Bjorn when we saw Athelstan "come on you look like you need a drink" i said as we dragged him to get one.

"there's that slave girl," said Athelstan as she was being pulled along because she was very drunk "the one who chosen to die," I said as he looked confused "what are they doing?" he asked as we had more to drink

"She is having sex with the men that live in there. Each one of them says to her Tell your master I did this out of love for him Because she will soon be reunited with her master in death, and she will be able to speak to him" i said as the angle of death slit her throat.

The man carrying the flame then lit the boat on fire. After the funeral was over we went off into the mountains and went off shooting in the woods when i saw some big deer i shot an arrow and missed it, i then shot again and i hit the animal in the heart. I took it back to the house for us to eat.

We were sitting around the fire and i was testing my deer when Athelstan spoke up "Ragnar, I have heard many of your stories, but tell me What is Ragnarok?" he asked as everyone fell silent "I have heard mention of it several times, but so far no one has explained the meaning to me", he said

"Let's show this ignorant Christian what Ragnarok is Get the leaves," said Ragnar as Björn got the leave and floki poured some sort of dust on the fire. "forgive me uncle i dont think he's ignorant, i think He's curious," i said as he nodded at me. The room filled with smoke as the story was told by Odin and the seer.

"The twilight of the gods will happen like this: There will be three years of terrible winters and summers of black sunlight," he said as i put my head on my father's shoulder.

"People will lose all hope and surrender to greed, incest and civil war. Midgardsormen, the world serpent, will come lunging from the ocean, dragging the tides in and flooding the world. The wolf, giant Fenrir, will break his invisible chains and the skies will open and Surt the fire-giant will come flaming across the bridge to destroy the gods and Odin will ride out of the gates of Valhalla to do battle for a last time against the wolf. Thor will kill the serpent, but die from its venom Surt will spread fire across the earth" he said as the next week they headed back to england.
