Harper was walking in the windy fields, waiting for a friend. She noticed Dr. Moonbloom nearby and talked to her.

"Hehe, I am supposed to meet a friend here for checkers." Harper said. "But it looks like she's not gonna make it."

"Yes, my friend also not arrived for checkers too and I've been looking forward to play all week." Dr. Moonbloom agreed.

"Me too." Harper sighed.

"Oh well." She replied.

As the two think, they later realize that they are the friends that they have been waiting for.

"Wait…" Harper gasped.

"Would you want to? They both ask each other. "Yes!"

"And that's a wrap, we got a perfect friend match!" The host said as he appeared behind the two sprites who are playing checkers. He is a male faun in a suit and tie. "I, Troye Wilds have made a successful friend match for the day. Go and fill out your surveys and submit them to me if you want a matching friend. See ya tomorrow and you'll find out who is the next to get a match!"

It was revealed to be a TV show that Poppy was watching while working in Sweet Pop.

"Poppy, what are you watching?" Smidge asked.

"Hey Smidge, I am just watching Troye Wilds's show, Friend Matching and he just friend matched Harper and Dr. Moonbloom." Poppy answered.

"Oh!" Smidge replied. "I don't get it."

"And now, he will announce who is the next person he'll friend match." Poppy squealed. "Right after the break."

After many hours of baking and cooking for the customers, the show was back. Poppy and Smidge looked at the TV, excited to see who is next to be featured.

"And now, we found a new match!" The host announced. "Our match is….Dananjay Maheswaran and Sky Toronto!"

"Whoa!" Poppy squealed. "Guy Diamond and Sky Toronto are the most friendatible match he has ever seen!"

"If I bring these two together, it will be a whole new level of connection." He continued on television. "Do you think these two will be a matching pair of friends? Stay tuned!"

The next day, Sky Toronto was busy working in the factory, keeping his wings folded as his assistant listed down the things they need. Then, his cellphone rang.

"I'll get it." He sighed as he flew away to his office. He turned on his cellphone and got the call.

"Who is it, may I help you?" Sky asked.

"Hello, Guy Diamond is in the market for some rare party supplies and he needs your help." An unknown caller said.

"I'll get to it." He said as he flew outside the factory and got in his car. He drove to the market, where he met Guy Diamond.

"Okay Dananjay, may I help you?" Sky asked him.

"As you can see, I have quite an extensive collection." Guy said as he showed him his collection. "But it's not yet complete."

"I thought I was the only collector in town." Sky said, smiling.

"As did I." Guy nodded.

They almost had a connection but he showed him his assistant, who is a sprite with purple wings.

"I'll let my assistant handle it." Sky said. "The sky's rule interaction is over."

"Right this way." He said as he lead him somewhere while Sky went back to work.

"Oof, they're such a strong match, but why are they not hitting it off?" Troye Wilds asked.

"We can help." Poppy said as she flew in to the set.

"Wait, you want to help me friend match these guys?" He asked her.

"Yeah, I know all about friend matching." She said.

"And we can help you match them." Smidge added.

"Okay, do you know anything Sky loves?" He asked them.

A football match was set as two teams were playing with each other. Sky Toronto flew into his seat but Poppy and Smidge with Rose and Guy Diamond arrived at the right time as well.

"Hi, Sky Toronto." Rose said. "I didn't know you were such a football fanatic."

"Yeah, and so is Guy Diamond." Smidge added.

"Are you into football?" Sky asked him.

"Yeah, of course." Guy answered.

It was almost a match until Guy shouted his favorite team name.

"GO HUGABUGS!" Guy shouted.

"I believe you mean, Go Puffalos!" Sky groaned.

"So, you're a puffalo fan?" Guy sneered.

"Indeed I am!" Sky said proudly.

The two started fighting and things went so loud and annoying when they used their magic while arguing. This worried the host and the girls.

"Oh no, earth and air don't get along well." Rose said.

"I thought a football match would work but this seems worse." The host told the girls.

"We need more ideas." Poppy sighed.

They tried to get Guy Diamond and Sky Toronto to become friends but the two couldn't get along well because of their differences. Guy Diamond is fun-loving while Sky is stoic and a cynic workaholic. Finally, they settled on the last plan. Guy and Sky Toronto arrived in the park together, only to argue again.

"This argument is getting worse between the two, can this friendship be formed?" Troye Wilds asked, facing the camera.

"Convince them to sing a song?" Poppy said to him.

"A song? Perfect!" The two grinned, hearing what Poppy said.

"We all know you're not a strong singer, Sky." Guy said. "You are going down!"

"The boys and I have been tinkering with this microphone." Sky said as he took out a specialized microphone with autotune and attached it to his ear. "I think I'll be fine!"

"He has acquired the GIFT!" Guy gasped.

The two did a singing battle while their magic reacted with their song.

Guy Diamond:

Ready, set, go! Don't you know

You don't got nothing on me?

Sky Toronto:

Didn't you know

I can outdo you supernaturally?

Guy Diamond:

But I got all the rhythm

Sky Toronto:

But I got the precision

Guy Diamond:

Ready, set, go!

Sky Toronto:

Yeah! Nothing can stop me

Now that I can sing! Go!

Guy Diamond:

I don't got time for imitators

I don't got time for any haters

Both:

No!

Sky Toronto:

You can't get enough of Sky Toronto

Calling your bluff

No way you want to go

Both:

Go!

Guy Diamond:

You're so dull

Sky Toronto:

You don't shine

Guy Diamond:

They're my friends

Sky Toronto:

Now they're mine

Both:

Yeah!

"Stop!" Poppy shouted as she flew between them. "Look, there's something you should know, you're only mad at each other because my favorite show is trying to force you to be friends."

"What!?" The two gasped.

"Sorry." Sky said as he turned off his microphone. "What?!"

"The survey from the show, they used the answers to find out which of you makes good friends and you two weren't a near-perfect match." She said. "Sorry, I interfered."

"A survey? My assistant usually fills out that sort of thing for me." Sky said.

"Wait, Guy's a match for Sky's assistant!?" Troye Wilds gasped.

"That makes more sense." Guy nodded.

"Indeed, the Guy Diamond and Sky Toronto friendship seems rather unlikely." Sky said. "But I wanna say something, I have a boyfriend."

"Wait, you have a boyfriend? I only had passing flings with men before." Guy answered. "But all in all, I really like men."

"Yeah, I have an attraction to men too." He said. "Although, we did make excellent music together."

"Unrival is the term that comes in mind." Guy agreed. "Perhaps we can perform some time soon?"

"How about…." Sky said.

"Right now, I thought you never asked." Guy agreed.

The two started singing together as Poppy, Rose, Smidge, and Troye Wilds watch them fly together.

"Ha! It worked a new friendship!" Troye shouted in front of the camera. "Exactly as we planned."

"That feels like a reach." Smidge added.

"Close enough." Poppy nodded.
