a/n 3 years after the wizard war 2 you can find Harry potter, an auror for the ministry of magic. Harry was Victorian in the war and lord Voldemort is gone. One day Harry came across the new edition of "Hogwarts: A History. He had heard rumors that he is mentioned in it. What does it say…
Harry James Potter
Most of us know him as the hero of the war or "the boy who lived". But to his friends he is just Harry. Many dreaded things happened that night of October 30th 19 years ago. When the dark lord came and tried to kill poor 1 year old Harry, that Halloween night Harry lost both of his parents, James and Lily Potter. That night he got the lighting bolt scar on his head which he is very famous for.
Before Harry was born a prophecy was made about him and the dark lord. This is what it said:
The one with the power to vanquish the dark lord approaches…. Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies…. And the dark lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have the power the dark lords knows not…. and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other one survives…. The one with the power to vanquish the dark lord will be born as the seventh month dies.
He grew up for 10 years not knowing anything about magic, but on his 11th birthday Harry was reintroduced in to the world of magic. That year at Hogwarts Harry once again faced the dark lord, and saved the sorcerer's stone. In Harry's 2nd year Harry had to face a basilisk and face a younger shadow of the dark lord. In his 3rd year he helped the now innocent Sirius Black, who is his godfather, escape.
In his 4th year Harry was entered intro The Triwizard Tournament without his knowledge of. This was the work of an inside job of a death eater. Harry did succeed in winning the tournament, but in the last task Harry came face to face to the new reborn dark lord after a fellow student and him was transported to a graveyard. There Harry had to duel the dark lord, thankfully he did escape but his fellow student did not. Cedric Diggory, died that day at the hands of one of the dark lord's most loyal death eater, Peter Pettigrew, also know as Wormtail.
In Harry's 5th year, after just 2 years of knowing him, his own cousin murdered Sirius. This came to be a great loose to poor Harry. This happened because the dark lord lured him down there. During his 6th year Harry and the dark lord both dueled in the same graveyard that they went to 2 years ago. Harry had barely survived that attack. But he still had the will to live.
After more training during his 7th and finally year her at hogwarts he finally beat the dark lord. The dark lord had come and attacked the school, but Harry was ready, and with the help of the DA and his professors the dark lord was finally gone and the prophecy was fulfilled. But there was a great lose to this victory, they lost many beloved students and professors that night.
As following in he father's footsteps Harry was a gryffindor, a marvelous seeker. He helped keep the house and quidditch cups within the gryffindor house all 7 years he was there.
We all know there where many deaths in the 2nd war. But too this day Harry is still trying to help protect this world.
