Chapter 2: The Funeral

"Uncle Pey'J was a good man. He will be remembered." Said the pastor to the group.
As the funeral was coming to an end Jade was the first to be escorted to the door.
"I'm sorry about your loss Jade. He was a good man." A woman said to Jade.
"Thanks. How did you know Uncle Pey'j" Jade asked politely.
"Uncle Pey'J didn't tell you about me?" Said the woman.
"Sorry but no." Jade said with concern in her face.
"Well to start off my name is Laharley. I was his wife." Laharley said to Jade.
"Sorry the names not ringing any bells." Jade told Laharley.
"I'm surprised he hasn't told you about me. We were so in love. We married right out of High School." Laharley told Jade with a tear in her eye.
When Jade saw that tear she started to cry.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry." Laharley said wiping away the tear from her eye.
"It's ok it good to hear tales of Uncle Pey'J. It keeps the memory of him alive." Jade said still sobbing.
Just as that was said there was this slight rumble as if the earth had a cold chill.
"What was that?" Laharley asked Jade.
"I don't know. We've never had that happen before here in Hyllis." Jade told Laharley with a serious look on her face.
This is all for chapter 2. I don't want to spoil the whole story by one word in chapter 2. Again give me reviews.
