"What happened to Kirk?" Lorelai asks seeing Kirk with bandages on his hands and feet.
"La-hong story." Rory replies (a.n.-thats LONG if you didn't know)
"Uh, ok..."
When they get to Miss Patty's everyone in town is there. Sookie, Jackson, Luke, Jess...etc, etc. The dance studio is decked out in lanterns, streamers, a huge pile of presents and..."WHOA LOOK AT THAT PIZZA!" Lorelai yells with a girlish giggle.
"Yes well...it was supposed to be the biggest one in the world but, I'm thinking its only the biggest one in Stars Hollow, very possibly only the biggest one on our block..."
"I love it just the same...HI LUKE!"
"Oh hey." Luke says walking over to them
"I'm gonna go find Jess." Rory says and walks off in the other direction
"So, Happy Birthday." Luke says handing her a small box.
"Luke...you already technically gave me my present."
"Well, I thought I would get you something a little more special this year."
"Oh...Luke...it...it's beautiful." After opening a small box seeing a necklace with a single diamond pendent on the chain.
"Well, it was my mothers and I thought it would look beautiful on you."
"Really?"
"Well, anything would look beautiful on you."
"What?"
"Oh I mean.."
Lorelai walks up and kisses him on the cheek
"Thank you, Luke. I love it."
"Your welcome..."
Their faces were still inches apart. Staring into eachothers eyes they start to move in. Their lips brush ever so lightly. Then Lorelai fills the rest of the space. Kissing him long and hard. Then they pull apart.
"Oh, Luke...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to.."
Luke cut her off with another kiss.
"Happy Birthday, Lorelai."
"Yes. A very happy one it is." Lorelai says pulling him in for another kiss...
So..should I continue? I don't know.
