Chapter 28:
Roundabout Sisters
Location: Konikoni City
With Hau having gone off to take on his Grand Trial, I was left in Konikoni City to kill some time.
"Zzt. So what we gonna do boss? Roto?"
"I dunno," I replied. "Training, what do you think?!"
"Did you just say training?" Lana appeared from right behind us.
"Alola!" I said. "You live here?"
"Yep!" she said. "I come here to train with the Legendary Pokémon Suicune!"
"No way!" I said. "Can I be trained by Suicune?!"
"Nope!" she replied.
"Why," I replied, sulking.
"Because I'm joking!"
"Should've known. Roto."
Lana laughed, as did I. It wasn't a horrible joke in the slightest.
"But I do know one thing. I know two people who would love to train you!"
Lana took me to one of the many wooden houses. She opened the door to show us… nothing special particularly. It was as normal a house as you could get.
"This is your place?" I asked.
"Yep!" she said. "And there are two people who would really like to meet you." She called up the stairs. "Harper! Sarah! We have a guest!"
Two girls ran down. They looked just like Lana, but at least half her age (so about five or six). One had a Slowpoke on her shirt and the other had a Shellder. "Alola big sis!" they both said.
"Elliott, these are my younger sisters. The one with the Slowpoke on her shirt is Harper."
I looked at the other one. "And you're Sarah?" I asked.
"Yeah!" Sarah replied. "Are you Lana's boyfriend?"
Both of us went red in the face. "NO I AM NOT!" I shouted.
"Girls! You say this with every male I bring back here. No, I would like you to battle him."
The twins looked at each other. "We will do that," said Sarah. "But… if Elliott loses…"
Harper started giggling. "You have to take Elliott out on a date!"
Lana went red in the face this time. "That's not happening!" she said.
"You're on!" I said.
"What?!" Lana shouted.
"Hey, let's just play their little game. This'll be fun!"
Lana went up close to my ear. "You better not lose," she whispered.
Elliott Vs. Twins Harper and Sarah
"I choose Slowpoke and Hariyama!" I shouted.
"Hey!" Harper shouted. "Your boyfriend has the same Pokémon on my shirt!"
"I AM NOT HIS BOYFRIEND!"
"Go Luvdisc!" Harper shouted, sending out a pink Pokémon in the shape of a heart.

Loving couples have a soft spot for this Pokémon, so honeymoon hotels often release this Pokémon into their pools.
Luvdisc has no known evolutions (and it really needs one).
"Corsola, go!" Sarah shouted.
"Okay Hariyama, Fake Out!" Hariyama clapped in front of Luvdisc, causing it to flinch.
"Corsola, Bubble Beam!" Corsola shot a jet of bubbles at Hariyama.
"Now Slowpoke, use Water Gun!" Slowpoke sprayed water at Corsola.
"Luvdisc, Draining Kiss!" Luvdisc went up to Hariyama and kissed it on the cheek, draining some of its HP.
"Corsola, Ancient Power!" Corsola threw some glowing rocks at Slowpoke who didn't seem to mind.
"Now Slowpoke, Headbutt!" Slowpoke went up to Luvdisc and hit it with its head. "And Hariyama, Vital Throw!" Hariyama picked up Corsola and threw it into the wall. It was finished.
"Luvdisc, use Draining Kiss!" Instead, Luvdisc hurt itself in the confusion.
"Now Hariyama, Knock Off!" Hariyama slammed down onto Luvdisc, knocking it out.
"But you two are made for each other!"
"Please reconsider things!"
"The jig is up," I said. "I don't have feelings for Lana."
"But, will you one day go out together?" Sarah asked.
"NO!" we both shouted.
"Maybe it'zz becauzze I'm genderlezz, but I don't get love. Roto."
Rotom's Move Dex!
Roto! Today, Elliott got to meet Lana'zz little sizzterzz, Harper and Sarah! Both uzzed Water Typezz, so that will be today'zz Type! The move?
Soak!
Soak izz a move that addzz the Water Type onto the oppozzing Pokémon. Roto. Now that izz… interezzting. But if your Water Type knowzz a Grazz or Electric Type attack, then whammo! That'zz a new strategy!
Pokémon that can learn Soak include Octillery, Lumineon and Araquanid!
And don't uzze it on me; I'm not waterproof! Roto!
