Based off of my dad's commentary when seeing Age of Calamity's credits, my first Zelda fic. It's crack so don't take anything seriously. Spoiler warning if you haven't finished Age of Calamity.
Link watches as Robbie and Purah tinker with the assembled Terrako's parts, watching as it whirrs to life- partially at least. Purah turns it around to face everyone gathered in the room, noticing how its eye glows brighter when Zelda's within view. After Impa attempts to touch it, Terrako jumps away, lifting a leg as if to tell off the Sheikah woman. It turns to face Link, and he simply gives it a nod as Zelda scoops it up in her arms, giving it a bear hug.
Link feels strangely jealous over the next few days, the princess giving him less attention than a damn robot! Sure, he's quiet and rarely speaks, but when he's mad, he's mad. Formulating a plan, Link sets out to destroy that annoying little egg that follows him around.
One morning, Link goes out for a walk around the forests surrounding the castle grounds, walking up a tower to get a view of Hyrule field, Terrako diligently following up the steps. Once he reached the top, Link set the little robot on the ledge.
Humpty Terrako sat on a wall
He shoves the egg shaped menace off the ledge, smirking before jumping down with the help of a paraglider.
Humpty Terrako had a great fall
Link unsheathes the master sword, giving Terrako a good few cuts before taking one piece and running off to his favourite cooking spot in the forest, leaving the pieces of Terrako for the guards on duty to find.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
The poor guard on duty who found what remained of Terrako was in a state of shock as he called for Purah and Robbie, reporting what he had found.
Couldn't put Terrako back together again
While Robbie and Purah were desperately trying to piece the egg-shaped robot back together, somewhere in the forest Link smirked to himself as he cooked up a stew with the bit of Terrako he'd taken off with.
