A/N Hello boys and girls I'm back with a new chapter! The usual thanks is in order. And Enjoy ch 10
Ch 10 Tracking the Enemy
"Mikey hold it right there," Raph said, roughly grabbing Mikey's arm and spinning him around.
"Don't freaking touch me Raph!" Mikey cried out, jerking his arm away from his red masked brother and shoving his slightly. Raph growled at his youngest brother and was about to go off. But Karai quickly interrupted the red masked turtle.
"Mikey you need to let Leo out of there," Karai said, standing in front of Mikey with her arms crossed.
"I don't gotta do nothin' you say Karai!" Mikey shot back, causing Karai to blink in surprise. "You don't get any say so in what any of us does or doesn't do!" the orange masked turtle continued. "So back the Hell off or so help me it won't be pretty!"
"Michelangelo please you must calm yourself my son," Splinter said, as he walked up and stood beside Karai and put his hands on Mikey's shoulders. "Miwa is merely trying to help," the wise old rat continued. "She is concerned about you as we all are."
"I know," Mikey said softly. "But I can't let Leo out. He'll get really hurt or worse. I'm only doing this to protect him."
"Mikey you can't keep Leo locked up forever," Donnie said gently. "That's not fair to him."
"Donnie..." Mikey began.
"I know you're worried about him," Donnie continued. "And I know you want to protect him. But Leo is a really good fighter. You just gotta trust that he can take care of himself and not get hurt."
"I know all that Donnie," Mikey said, sounding annoyed. "But every time I've had a vision it turned out to be real. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna let anything happen to Leo! If the situation was reversed he'd be doing the same thing. So he stays in there until I think its safe for him not to be!"
"Michelangelo," Splinter began.
"I'm sorry Sensei," Mikey said. "But there's nothing you or anyone else can say or do that's gonna make me change my mind."
"Wanna bet?" Raph grumbled, glaring at Mikey. Casey heard Raph's comment and his black eyes went wide
"Dude maybe this isn't the best time for you to go all forceful on Mikey," Casey whispered. "It could make things worse." Raph growled at Casey and gave his a sharp look but said nothing.
"So April what's the big problem?" Mikey asked, looking over at his red headed friend.
"Well uh you know how you all told me it wasn't a good idea to confront Irma about being a Kraang spy?" April asked.
"Yeah," the group said, giving April a look.
"Let me guess," Karai said. "You confronted her didn't you?"
"Well not in person," April said with a slight laugh. "But I uh sort of sent her a text telling her I knew everything and that she's the worst kind of creature and how I never want to see her again and how we foiled the Kraang's plans for a takeover."
"And what did she say?" Donnie asked, although he wasn't sure he really wanted to know the answer.
"Well she didn't say anything," April said. "But she did send me this picture." April got out her phone and showed the group a picture that was taken right outside April's window of the turtles and her and her father having dinner. April scrolled down and underneath that was the word 'death' in all red letters.
"Well that isn't creepy at all," Raph muttered.
"April is you dad safe?" Donnie asked with concern.
"Yeah," April said with a nod. "Casey convinced his Dad to invite my Dad out to the country with him and Sara. Casey's aunt has property out there. Its in the middle of no where so they'll be perfectly safe there. "
"Well that good," Donnie said.
"Yeah but do you have any idea where Irma is?" Raph asked.
"Well no," April admitted.
"Great so she could be anywhere waiting to ambush us," Mikey cried out. "Or worse she could have gone back to her ship and gotten a new face or something."
"I know how to find out where she went," Donnie said, turning and walking back to his lab, forgetting that Mikey had locked it. Pulling on the door Donnie soon remembered that Mikey had the key. "Uh Mikey I kind of need in my lab," the purple masked turtle said.
"Sorry D no can do," Mikey said, shaking his head.
"Mikey," Donnie said, trying his best not to shout. "All my Kraang stuff is in there. In fact all my computer things are in there too. I can't track Irma without access to my things. So please give me the key so I can get in there." Mikey went to say no again but when he saw the looks on his family and friends' faces he quickly thought better of it and he let out a sigh.
"Fine," he grumbled, reaching into his belt and taking out the key. Donnie held out his hand for the key but Mikey pulled it away. "I'll let you in D," Mikey said. "But I'm not letting Leo out. And once you've got what you need then it gets locked again."
"Mikey you can't keep Donnie from his lab," April said.
"Ugh I don't have time to argue!" Donnie cried out. "Just open the damn door Mikey!" Mikey blinked in surprise as he wasn't used to Donnie swearing at him. So Mikey silently unlocked the lab door and he and Donnie went in. "I'll let you guys know what I find," Donnie said as he shut the door.
"Donnie?" came Leo's muffled voice. "Donnie is that you?"
"Leo?" Donnie called out. "Where are you?"
"In the closet," came Leo's response. "Mikey locked me in here! Let me out of here! Mikey's clearly lost his mind!"
"I haven't lost anything Leo!" Mikey cried out. "I'm doing this for your own good! Why can't you understand that?! Why can't anyone understand that?! "
"Mikey keeping me locked up isn't going to solve anything!" Leo shouted as he pounded on the door. "So please just let me out!"
"Sorry Leo I can't do that," Mikey said, the guilt coming through his voice. "If the situation was reversed you'd be doing the same thing."
"Donnie please talk some sense into out little brother," Leo pleaded.
"I will," Donnie said as he typed. "But right now I've got a Kraang to locate. Irma's gone dark and she knows all about our friendship with April and how we foiled the Kraang's plans."
"How'd she find that out?" Leo asked.
"April told her," Donnie said.
"Of course she did," Leo muttered as he slid down the door and sat on the floor as he listened to the sounds of Donnie typing. After what seamed like hours Leo began to get impatient from being locked in a cramped area for so long. "Any luck Donnie?" he called out. Silence. "Donnie?" Leo called again, getting to his feet. Once again silence. "Donnie what's going on?" Leo asked. Leo pressed his ear to the door and he heard the muffled voices of Donnie and Mikey talking back and forth. Then suddenly Leo heard Donnie's computer beeping rapidly.
"Oh my God," Donnie cried out. "This is not good. This is not good at all."
"Donnie what's wrong?" Leo asked, alarmed at his purple masked brother's tone.
"Guys get in here!" Donnie shouted. "We've got a huge problem here." Moments later the rest of the group was in the lab.
"Donnie what's wrong?" April asked.
"Yeah what's with the shouting?" Raph chimed in.
"I know where Irma is," Donnie informed the group. "And its nowhere good."
"Ugh just out with already," Raph snapped,
"She's heading this way!" Donnie shouted, causing everyone to gasp. "And she's got a whole lot of reinforcements!"
