Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Seeing through Hate. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and a few others do.

"I'm going to guess you have things set out when you become the head of the clan?" Kaito questioned and raised an eyebrow at Hanabi. "I'm sure you would when it comes down to it. You've always had a plan set up for the future." Kaito said as Hanabi hummed and looked at her hands.

They had stopped their training. Kaito knew very well that fighting would not help anything. While he was happy when Hanabi let out her emotions more then bottle them up? Hanabi and fighting wasn't well when they trained and came down to it.

"I do." Hanabi stated and turned her head to Kaito and hummed. "But there's far more to focus on at the moment. My father has policies he wants upheld when it comes down to it." Hanabi stated as Kaito rubbed at his chin.

Kaito brushed off his arms and turned to look at the girl at the moment as he hummed.

"Well, it will be your legacy at that moment… Not him, abi." Kaito hummed and then leaned on the tree next to him. "You don't have to act like you need to do much… You've been managing this branch of the clan well enough. It will be just a bit more paperwork then usual… Least how I can see it going in the end." Kaito stated which caused Hanabi to sigh and shake her head.

She knew very well that Kaito didn't understand politics for the group. He was a mere bodyguard; his duty was to protect her and nothing else. It wasn't like she could blame him when it came down to it.

Still? It did manage to irritate her more then anything. Hanabi turned to look at Kaito while she ran her fingers through the water below her.

"Do you know just how much work goes into running the clan?" Hanabi questioned which caused Kaito to cross his arms and look around. "Because it is far more then you think goes into it." Hanabi stated which caused Kaito to hum and turn to her once more.

"That's why your in charge and I'm not." Kaito said while cracking his fingers slowly. "I don't know what goes into politics of the clan. I'm not really supposed to know that, I'm there just to fight people and all that." Kaito said before slowly sliding down to sit next to the pool Hanabi used.

"Plus? If someone wants me to remember something for you?" Kaito stated and looked at the water. "Then they'd tell me in person and I'd report it to you. You know for a fact that you're be ready for it when it happens. You've led this branch of the clan for several years since your sister stepped down." Kaito added as he brushed off his arms.

Kaito knew for a fact that Hanabi had dozens of thoughts bouncing through her mind. She was a strategist, unknowns when it came down to them terrified her. Hanabi didn't like things being outside of her control. She didn't like variables that she couldn't guide at the moment.

Kaito sighed and rubbed at his temples. He knew very well at the moment which caused him to think. Kaito didn't have the answers to her questions in his head. He didn't know exactly what to say which caused him to shake his head.

"Hanabi, I'm not a bigwig when it comes to words." Kaito said and patted Hanabi on the arm. "I'm a warrior, I've been a fighter when it comes down to it. I don't know what to tell you when it comes down to it. I'm just Kaito when the chips fall." Kaito stated and ran his own fingers through the water.

Kaito could only ponder the course of the clan when Hanabi took over. She would change things when it came time for that. Kaito wanted to tell her this, but Hanabi wouldn't like what he said… So, he said nothing at the end of his thoughts.

Kaito closed his eyes to think about what happened next. there was a lot to consider. Kaito decided the best idea at the time was to simply let Hanabi think.

"I'm going to go and get some sleep at the moment." Kaito stated as he turned and sat up. "You can come send for me if you need me. Even if I'm passed out? I'll be happily ready to decide what you need help deciding on." Kaito stated as he turned to leave.

Kaito could only leave Hanabi to her own thoughts. When she needed him? Kaito knew Hanabi would come and get him. She liked to greet her servants in person.

It was something he preferred to the other clan members. Kaito could only ponder what Hanabi wanted in the end.

Kaito said nothing as he smiled and hummed. Kaito hummed and nodded with amusement in the end.
