I'm Just So Tired

Firestar is sleepy... A poem

I'm just so tired

I'm over

I'm done

Put out the moon

And tuck away the sun

I'm just so tired

Let StarClan take me away

Because there's nothing here for me

Nothing to make me stay

I'm just so tired

I tried so hard

I've stayed awake for so long

I've traveled so far

I'm just so tired

ThunderClan waits and watches me

But I just blink happily

I'm so sleepy

I'm just so tired

Sandstorm says I am sick

I shrug and curl up

She mewls and gives my ear a lick

She says I will sleep and never wake

I complain and say I want to take a break

She sighs and says she loves me so

I smile and nod and say I know

And now I close my eyes

Waiting for the darker skies

In which the moon will come out to hear my cry;

I'm just so tired!

And then I will die

Odd little poem I wrote. It is in Firestar's POV. He's sick and feels tired, and, when he falls asleep, he dies. Awww.
