Chapter 19

a/n we made it! *fist pump*

"I bet you're gonna have a really great year." Now the Doctor struggled to stay upright as he set the coordinates. He hesitated as his hand brushed past a lever. Greyn. He couldn't go back for him. Not now. But then what kind of father would you be? He wasn't even sure he was his father. Maybe the next you could take care of him better. True. His hand drifted back to the lever. He trusted his future incarnation to take care of Greyn, but not to fly the Tardis right.

Greyn pulled the comforter close. The night air didn't feel quite right, not anymore. Not since he'd been stuck here. Even in the company of Sarah Jane and Luke and Clyde and Rani, he never felt quite right. He felt alone.

The noise made Greyn sit straight up in bed. He jumped out of bed, grabbing his backpack. There was the Tardis, right in front of her. Finally. "I missed you," He muttered, pressing a hand against the door. Inside, his father leaned against the console.

"What's wrong?" He creased his eyebrows.

"Nothing. I'm sorry."

He smiled softly. "It's alright. Are you sure you're okay?"

He slowly circled around the console. "I-" His voice faltered. "I don't wanna go."
