I just want to thank everyone that has reviewed this story. I will be honest. It was just quick and small thought that I had while working on another story that is still blocked called "Heal a Broken Wolf." I wondered would have happened if Charlie had asked more questions and actually a few but pointed questions and actually thought like a cop and stood by his daughter even against his friend.
It was only meant to be a quick what if one shot. However, I never expected the response I received. Since most everything else I am working on is currently blocked for all fandoms; I think I will go back and take a look at the story and see about expanding the father and daughter time and Paul's sudden departure. However, I make no promises, and if I do it will be considered a new story.
