Up to the Challenge
I climb up the cliff
And in the distance I see
A huge creature walking
My opponent it must be
It towers into the sky
It looks down on me from above
But I must find away to beat it
For the sake of love
Its club comes to the ground
And causes the ground to shake
But I will find a way to beat it
For Mono's sake
But how can I beat
Something so large
That could easily crush me
If I should charge?
I'm only a human
What could I do
To face a huge beast
Whose power and might is true?
But I must still try
I must believe I can win
Doubt is my enemy
For I will loose if I give in
Then I see its weakness
A crack in its leg
I stab it there and the colossus bends
And I climb up to its head
It tries to shake me off
But I hang on for my life
I must beat it to help Mono
Or I'll live the rest of my years in strife
Then I stab it in its weak point
And stab it again and again on its head
Until the colossus falls
And lands on the ground dead
I can't believe I killed it
I've defeated the odds
Now I'm one step closer
To completing my cause
I have fifteen more to slay
Before my quest comes to an end
It won't be easy
But I'm up to the challenge
