Marinette woke up to the smell of croissants, she got out of bed and woke Tikki. She went to the window and saw Chat Noir and Grace go into the burger diner next door.
"I guess he listened to me." Marinette said to Tikki with little enthusiasm.
Suddenly her phone dinged, she checked who it was seeing Alya's name on the screen.
Alya - Hey girl, you have to see this, look at my Ladyblog!
Marinette went to her computer and typed Ladyblog in the search bar. She got to the site and saw a newly posted video. It was of Chat Noir going to pick up Grace, they came out the door and walked out to the street. Suddenly
Alya turned the camera towards herself and spoke, "Yo peeps! Alya here, live from Paris with the one and only Ladyblog. Turns out Chat Noir has a new girlfriend, I wonder how Ladybug must be feeling. Good luck Chat Noir and the new girl, see ya peeps updates will be uploaded. Byeee!"
Marinette had a sour feeling in her stomach.
"Tikki why do I feel like this?"
"It's completely normal Marinette, you're just jealous." Tikki told her.
Flustered, Marinette stuttered out, "What I am not!"
Tikki rolled her eyes, "You're just as blind as Adrien!"
"What was that?" Marinette said bewildered.
"Nothing Marinette!"
Marinette looks out the window again with a downcast look on her face. I wish I hadn't told him to go for it she thought. Wait, what, no don't think like that, she told herself. You want him to be happy she thought. Yeah, happy, even though she was telling herself that it was fine, she didn't feel reassured. Shaken out of her thoughts, she went downstairs to eat breakfast.
