'Why don't you take a swan dive off the roof and pray for a quirk in the next life?!"

'No young man. I don't believe you can be a hero.'

'Izuku Midoriya? I have some… Unfortunate news about your mother.'

Izuku Midoriya sits in the room above the small cafe he now owns by himself, the walls empty save for a few paintings, his bed covered in green sheets and blankets, and an old desk with a barely used laptop on top of it. He fiddles with the small black buckle held in his hands, as he stares at it with cold, almost lifeless eyes. The metal is cool against his skin, but also presents a warmth he hasn't felt in a long time.

He stops moving his hands, and lets his vision look at the buckle from a still point, as his mind wanders. The black object seems to stare back at him, and his mind wanders. His desires come to the forefront of his mind, stray thoughts shifting into one. Power to help others, power to prove the ones who shoved him down wrong, power to prevent what happened to his mother from happening to anyone else… Power. He wants, no, needs power.

The clinking of metal rings in his head, animal sounds following it. Why not use it for your own gain? You can get anything you like! You can cradle the world in the strength of your arms. BE STRONG FOR YOU! Izuku's grip on the buckle tightens, but the crackle of flames gets him to loosen.

You're an idiot, aren't you? You'd rather stick your neck out for others, knowing that you'll likely never get a reward. You don't do this for yourself… Your desire is so strong it outweighs any of ours.

Izuku lets his hands fall, fingers just barely clutching onto the buckle. A flicker of life behind his eyes shines for a brief moment, before he raises his head, his eyes burning with desire.

A sage green desire to grow. Yellow lit desire to gain. A silver clad desire to be strong. A calm blue desire to nurture. Purple desire to scream. And…

A red hot desire to reach his hand out to anyone.

"The recent actions of the vigilante calling themself O's, stylized as OOO, have been considered as nothing more than widespread rumors. At least, that was the case until just last night, when the masked illegal dropped off the principal of local middle school Aldera, as well as a USB thumb drive that contained an untold amount of evidence for crimes such as Quirkism, Abuse Of Minors, Forging Documents, and possibly more. It is unknown where OOO got this evidence, but it is said authorities are going to fact check it. Even if the principal is convicted, officials are saying that OOO is to be treated the same way, calling for his arrest. In other news-."

"Pfft, like they'd actually catch the kid." Sorahiko Torino spoke, sitting down at a table in his favorite Cafe. "Hey boss, you got more coffee for me? No one makes it quite like you, after all!"

Izuku nods from behind the counter, a smile on his face. "Coming right up, Mr. Torino!"

"Ah, kid, you know you don't have to call me that! I'm Sorahiko to you, okay?!" The old man speaks, Izuku giving a shrug in response as he approaches with a small pot.

"I just know my manner is all, sir." Izuku replies, getting a chuckle from the man.

"Ah, well I can't fault you for that. Say, what do you think of this OOO feller? That was the principal of your old school, right? Surely you have some feelings." Sorahiko asks, Izuku rubbing the back of his head.

"Well, it's not a secret I hate schools, what with how they prioritize the strong and all. Though, maybe the actions OOO takes could be nicer. I mean, if he's that strong, why wouldn't he be in a hero school?" Izuku asks, before rubbing at his chin. "Well, that's assuming he's a kid like you say. And, not to mention that whole bug suit infestation back at UA's entrance exam…"

"Oh yeah, he did show up and ruin their giant robots, didn't he? I heard those things were hacked somehow anyways, so maybe he was doing them a favor." Sorahiko says, snapping Izuku from his mutterings.

"Ah, maybe." He says, as if he wasn't hanging a criminal off the side of a building a week before the entrance exam, learning that the crook and a team had been hired to mess with the exam.

"In any case, I say more power to him. Everyone forgets the work vigilantes do for us, but they really are important." Sorahiko says, an affirmative grunt ending his sentence. "And another thing-!" The man says, before the door opening cuts him off.

A group of students have entered the Cafe, all with cheery faces (save the upset looking purple haired one, who looks like she would rather be anywhere else right now). Normally, Izuku wouldn't mind having them in here, but there was a problem…

They were UA students.

"You sure this place is gonna be good? We went pretty far into the city for this." A loud looking blonde asks, and Izuku feels his blood boil just being near him. Call it a stereotype, but Izuku just doesn't like loud looking blondes.

"I'm sure, Kaminari. The lady who owns the place makes the best goodies I've ever had." A pink girl replies, before looking at Izuku. "Hey! Do you know when the boss is getting back?!" She says with a smile.

"Ah, I'm sorry miss, but-"

"Oh, she's out for the day then. That's fine, I'm sure you make the treats just as good!" She interrupts him, and Izuku lets out a sigh. Sorahiko grumbles next to him, and Izuku agrees with the incoherent sounds of anger.

The students take a seat in a booth on the other side, Izuku grabbing their orders quickly before getting to work. His mom always did love teaching him to cook, so the rhythm of the food calmed him down a little. Soon enough, nice hot plates of different snacks were brought out, and placed in front of the group of students. "Enjoy your meals." Izuku says, before moving back towards the counter.

"Ah, boss, can I get another cup? I think this will be my last one before I head out." Sorahiko asks, causing Izuku to look at the clock.

"Oh goodness, you're right. It's almost time to close." The boy replies, straightening out his apron. "I'll make a cup for you to go, okay? I need to get ready for my errands." And by errands, he means patrol.

Sorahiko nods, while the group of students groans. "Man, we pretty much just got here! Can't you call in the owner and have her continue from where you leave off?" The pink girl asks again, and Izuku has half a mind to kick her out without any explanation.

"Inko is… No longer with us." Sorahiko says, taking Izuku's place to explain. "She passed away in a villain accident a while ago. Izuku, the Cafe, and the recipes she's passed down are all that she left." Izuku looks down, clutching at his serving plate tightly.

The group looks at Izuku in shock, except for the purple haired girl, who gets up from her booth, and instantly bows. "I'm sorry for your loss, and my classmates' insensitive nature." She apologizes, snapping a glare at the group as she speaks. "I'll see if I can get them out."

"Ah, it's not your responsibility to do that." Izuku says, waving a hand rapidly.

"Maybe not, but it's the kind thing to do." The purple haired girl responds. "Hey! Grab your food and get out!" She yells at them, snapping at them with a silver tongue. They all nod and start packing up, starting to move. "Two days in, and they all wanna act like we're buddy buddy… I barely know them all, and they basically dragged me here. Doesn't help that I still have a headache from heroics class." She pinches at the bridge of her nose, a sigh leaving her lips.

Izuku lays a calm hand on her shoulder, looking at her thankfully. "How about I give you a discount? You deserve it for all you've been through."

"You don't have to." She resists, but Izuku shakes his head. "Well… Alright then. Hey, your name is Izuku, right? Thanks. I'm Kyoka Jirou." She reaches her hand out, which Izuku takes happily.

"Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet you." The boy replies, and the two smile at each other.

Maybe this could be an actual friendship?

The yellow claws of the Tatoba Combo dig into the pavement, as OOO skids back in sparks. His burning red falcon helmet looks up, green eyes piercing against the monstrous form of whatever this Nomu thing is.

"You just don't know when to quit, do you?" The blue haired villain, Shigaraki, speaks, scratching at his neck.

"What can I say? I've just got too much pride." The vigilante retorts, getting back into a battle ready position. "Besides, I've still got more hits in than you."

"Like they've done anything. With Nomu's shock absorption and regeneration, you'll die before ever even getting close to beating him!" Shigaraki boasts, and OOO just has to laugh.

"Hah! Way to give up his weakness!" OOO laughs, setting his belt level, before taking out the first and last medal. "See, if he's got shock absorption, that means he's got a limit! I just have to reach it first!" He sets in two more yellow Medals, before titling the buckles once more, running the scanner over top.

"LION! TORA! CHEETAH! LATAH-LATAH! LATORATAH!" The scanner cries out, as the helmet and legs of the vigilante's armor change in color and shape, dyeing themselves in yellow and gold, making the boy resemble a large cat.

As his body begins to shed light, he crosses his arms over his chest, his body trembling from anticipation. "OooooooOOOOOOOOGGGGHHHHHHH!" He roars out, slowly lowering his arms, as the claws fold out, sparking against each other. He gets into a battle ready position, before his legs move an inch…

And he moves in front of the Nomu. In a rapid fire of strikes, the creature goes flying back, OOO looking up in a bright flash of light. The vigilante follows the airborne monster, attacking it with further claw strikes. With each slash, sparks fly out from the claws, until eventually they erupt in a pillar of yellow flames.

"What the hell?!" Shigaraki questions, before OOO stabs through the Nomu with the full claws, flinging the monster at the villains.

A set of hero students begin to move towards the center of the area, OOO swiping his flame-covered claws in a circle to keep them away. "Stay back! Find your classmates, grab any injured, and get out!" He roars, looking back to see Jirou grabbing their homeroom teacher alongside the loud blonde from before, and moving towards the steps.

At least she's responsible.

Izuku sits at the counter of his Cafe, applying a bandage to his arm. "Shhhhh…!" He hisses in pain, patting down his arm. "I should really make some temperature protective adjustments to my costumes."

"I'll say." Sorahiko speaks, and Izuku jumps from his seat. "Oh calm down, you idiot. I've known you were OOO since you started showing up on the news."

"But how?" Izuku asks, the man chuckling as he takes a seat in his usual booth.

"Kid, I've known you and your mother both since the days you were born. I know how you think and operate. You know, Inko had that same way of pretending she had no say in a matter when she tried to hide a secret. Thought she was clever, hehe." Sorahiko snickers, rubbing at his chin. "But, the real tip off was how you jump when using those green legs. You took a lot after me, it seems."

"Well, I just knew you had the best control is all. I still put my own spin on it, since I can't control my direction in midair." Izuku responds, getting a nod from the man.

"That's good. You know your fighting style and how to improve it. Can't have you going out and fighting crime with any mishaps, now can I?"

"You mean… You're not gonna tell me to stop?" Izuku asks, the man shaking his head. "Why?"

Sorahiko lets out a sigh. "Your grandmother, Nana… She was a hero too. When your mother was born, she had lost her husband to a villain. She had to put her and your uncle in the system to protect them. After she passed, and the man who took her and her husband away was dealt with, I went looking for her kids. Your uncle… He was bitter, and awful to heroes. Forbade me from ever coming near him. Your mother though…"

"She welcomed you with open arms." Izuku recalls, getting a nod from the man. Izuku moves over to sit in front of him, the two sitting in silence for a moment. "What was grandma like?"

Sorahiko smiles. "She was all smiles and strength, kid. Always willing to look out for others, be a hero like no one else. Didn't matter who you were. As long as she could reach her hand out… That's what mattered to her. And she loved her family, loved them with all her heart. Didn't matter if they were related by blood or not. She… She was my best friend."

Izuku nods, pulling up one of his hands. The red, yellow, and green Medals that form his primary color stare at him, the animals upon them screaming for his desire to be heard. "I… I wish they were here. Mom and grandma both."

"Me too kid… Me too."

The silver combo of Sagozou slams its fist into the hero killer's face, the two hero students behind OOO staring as he knocks the villain out.

The white shirt of the Todoroki kid is burnt to a crisp, the boy finally convinced to use his flames by OOO reciting to him and the younger brother of Ingenium that their lives are the ones where choices matter most. Their Quirks are theirs, their lives are theirs… The choices they've made are theirs, the good and the bad.

The young Iida manages to stand up, knives buried in his forearm. "You wouldn't happen to have healing abilities, would you?" He asks OOO, the vigilante shaking his head.

"No, sorry." The armored boy responds, his voice buried in a blunt grunt, like that of the gorilla that adorns his chest. "The hospital will help. For now I must go."

"...Why did you help us?" Todoroki asks, and OOO looks at him. "Both of us… We came here in blind rage and stupidity. Iida to avenge his brother, and me to prove I'm better than my father. So, why would you help us, even knowing our faults?"

OOO looks at them, before correcting his belt, taking the Medals out, and letting his armor dissolve. The boy that now stands before them is in an odd costume, if you could call it that.

A black zipper hoodie, a bright red covering over his head, green lens goggles covering his eyes. A yellow armored shirt sits above a pair of black cargo pants, green pockets stitched into place, leading into a pair of bright red sneakers. An assortment of pouches rest on his belt, what appears to be a grappling gun hanging from his holster. His hands are covered in glove gauntlet hybrids, the backs holding their own compartments for more items. The most striking part of his appearance, to the two boys at least, was how young he looked.

"Because we're teenagers. We all make idiotic mistakes, some more driven by passion than others, but we still make them. Everyone expects us to just be either kids or adults, but we can't be both. We're stuck in the middle, just trying to be the best us we can be." He raises a hand, a smile on his face. "But, if I can reach my hand out to someone in need, then I think I'm doing the best job I can of being me."

Iida and Todoroki look at the boy in awe, as he turns away. "You two take care now, okay?"

"But, that doesn't explain your previous actions! Why go after a middle school principal? Why not go to a hero school?!" Iida asks, OOO taking the grappling gun from his holster.

"Because if someone doesn't care for the quirkless…" He fires, attaching to a building side. "Then who will?"

He zips away, leaving the two to process their thoughts.

"So, what do you do for fun?" Kyoka asks, Izuku scratching at his cheek as he pours her a cup of coffee.

"Ah, well recently I've been going on nature walks. It's quite peaceful!" Izuku says, stating a half truth. He was out in nature… But that's because he caught wind from a lizard guy that the League of Villains were thinking of striking the UA Hero Course training camp sometime this summer. No one knows where the camp is going to be, so Izuku is doing his best to try and find it so he can learn more about their goals. Killing All Might can't be the end all be all, after all…

"That's nice." Kyoka says, leaning back in her seat. "Uh, hey. I was wondering, if you weren't busy this Saturday night, maybe we could, uh… Maybe hang out? I hear plenty of good movies are airing recently." Kyoka says, twirling one of her jacks around her ear.

"I, uh…" Izuku blushes, hiding behind his serving plate, just peeking above it a little. "I'd like that." He responds, a smile and a blush forming on Kyoka's face.

"Awesome!" She cheers, getting up and leaving some yen and a small piece of paper on the table. "I uh, I need to get going. But text me later, okay?"

Izuku nods, and she walks out the door. He smiles, picking up the bills and the paper, seeing a phone number written down. He stuffs them, before a set of men enter the Cafe, the group looking particularly shifty.

"Coffee, black." The man at the front says, his red hair poking out from under his beanie. "And turn up the TV, please. Me and the guys want to be able to hear the news."

Izuku nods, getting to work. Guys like these… They were criminals, using his Cafe as a meet up place. Makes sense, it was a hole in the wall place anyways, but to see them meet like this in person… Guess it's Izuku's lucky day. He sets their mugs before them, and turns up the volume on the television, before heading back to the kitchen.

But not before turning on the microphone at their table.

"So, you guys know the plan right? Pretend to help those idiots on I-Island at the festival pre-show on Wednesday, and make off with their tech." The leader says, Izuku washing the dishes as he listens in.

"You sure it's okay for us to talk about this here? I mean, that guy might be listening in." One of the other crooks asks, Izuku making sure to keep his composure.

"It's fine. The kid doesn't look like he'd tell a soul even if he heard something, and he's got all kinds of noise blocking him out. Besides, you see him talking with that girl before we came in? I think he just scored a date. We'll make it his lucky day and keep him alive." The leader speaks, and Izuku can't help but smile.

Lucky day indeed. Too bad you guys aren't going to have a good time at I-Island.

"MARINE BANISHER!" OOO cries out, striking against Wolfram with the spinning tentacle legs of the Shauta combo, before destroying his metal covering, knocking the villain out. The blue armored vigilante lands on the roof of the island tower, All Might landing behind him, as he looks out across the group of UA students gathered on top of the building.

Melissa, the friend he made on the island, rushes over to her father, as does All Might. OOO goes to slip away, but a small explosion keeps him from moving.

"And where do you think you're going?!" One Katsuki Bakugou shouts, looking at OOO with anger filled eyes.

"Well, my job is done. I was about to swim back to Japan." OOO answers, his voice dipped in the cries of whales.

"No way, asshole! You know vigilante laws! I'm taking you in!" Bakugou shouts, and OOO merely crosses his arms.

"Really? You and what hero license? Besides, I haven't used a quirk at all so far, so legally you have no right to arrest me." OOO replies smugly, Bakugou snarling at him madly.

"Bullshit! Those weird fucking Medals are quirk enough!" Bakugou shouts, before flying forwards, explosions rocketing him towards the armored boy. OOO stands at the ready, before All Might suddenly appears between the two, catching Bakugou with a hand. "WHAT THE HELL?! LET ME GO!"

"Now now, Young Bakugou. This is no way to thank someone. Besides, I can confirm his lack of quirk usage." All Might speaks, standing up for the vigilante.

OOO honestly doesn't know how that makes him feel, right now.

"In any case, we thank you for your assistance in this case, OOO. Like always, you always seem to know when people are in danger." All Might, looking at the boy with his usual smile.

OOO shrugs. "I have my sources. I'll send Tsukauchi some of them when I return too." The boy comments, before turning to walk away.

He and Melissa look at each other, then nod, before OOO jumps off of the roof, his body turning to water as he does so.

"Do you really have to leave now? We were just starting to figure out where these Medals really come from." Melissa asks, tugging in Izuku's sleeve.

"I know, but I have obligations back in Japan." Izuku says, rubbing the back of his head. "Plus, it'll be easier to look into Eiji Hino and the Kougami Foundation back home too. Maybe I'll find out why the Medals were in that museum."

"Okay…" Melissa whines, but looks at Izuku softly. "But you know you can always come back, right? Me and my dad, we could get you into school, and we could hang out, and talk about girls…"

Izuku chuckles, nodding his head. "I know, I know. I'll see you later, Melissa."

"Okay… Goodbye, OOO." She replies, and Izuku nods, walking away.

"RUSH HIM!" The insectoid chirping of Gatakiriba OOO cries, as he and his army of copies crowds around the villain Muscular, jumping on him and chipping away at his muscles with their mantis claws.

One of the clones grabs the child on the Cliffside, hopping away with him. "W-where are you taking me?!"

"Away from the danger! Keep people safe, that's the goal after all!" OOO responds, and the kid frowns.

"But I won't be able to see you finish him off! Isn't that all you heroes care about?" The kid asks.

OOO looks at him and shakes his head. "Who cares about looking cool? Braggarts and show offs. All that matters to me is making sure I can reach my hand out to people in need. I'm not even a hero, kid."

The kid looks at him, and for a moment, remembers what it was like when his parents would come home, all dressed in their costumes, pick him up, and hold him in their arms. The kid leans into OOO's hold, and smiles.

"Maybe… But maybe you're mine." He whispers, and unknown to him, OOO smiles beneath his mask.

Meanwhile, Bakugou is kidnapped.

Izuku sits at Kyoka's bedside, holding her hand, both her and her roommate, Hagakure, still passed out from the attack at the camp. "Hey, Kyoka." Izuku says, knowing she can't hear him. "I uh… I heard your classmates are able to track down the villains. Some of them were even planning a rescue…" He stops short, squeezing her hand.

"I'm going to stop them, and then go in their place. Now, I'm sure you're wondering how I'm gonna do this, seeing as I'm quirkless. But, the thing is… I'm OOO." He chuckles. "I uh, I was going to tell you at some point, if we kept going out, but… But I think telling you like this as a form of practice is for the best, because… Because I'm scared. Scared you'll hate me for not telling you. And… And I don't want to lose you."

Izuku lets go of her hand, and starts to leave. "I'll see you later."

Unbeknownst to him, someone was listening in…

And it wasn't the person he was talking to.

Tatoba Combo OOO is sent flying back, tumbling into All Might's arms. The hero sets him back up right, before pushing him back. "Get out of here! I will handle this man!"

"No way! He's caused just as much trouble for me as he has for you!" OOO retorts, readying himself once more. "I've been dealing with his bullshit since before the school year started."

"Ah yes, the entrance exam. I was expecting you to be a mere participant in them, but not an interloper like my team." All For One speaks, and OOO tilts his head. "Ah, I'm sure that's confusing for you to hear. Allow me to rephrase, then. My dear child, I had expected you to take the test, what with your childhood dream of being a hero like the number one blonde idiot I face. Imagine my surprise when you not only did not take the test, but ended up as a vigilante, who daylights in your mother's place. It pains me, hearing what those heartless bastards did to her, but rest assured, I made the so-called villains involved suffer."

"What the hell are you talking about?!" OOO yells and All Might looks at the man.

All Might shakes his head. This madman had already taken Nana from him, and warped her grandson into a villain. He couldn't have also…?

"Oh, Izuku." The man speaks, and Izuku freezes. "Do you not recognize your own father?"

Izuku's blood freezes. His father… Is All for One. "Y-You lie! My father is an American businessman! He abandoned me after learning I was quirkless! He cut off all ties with our family when I was nine!"

"An event I wish never happened. Unfortunately, a certain blonde oaf had to ruin my greatest plan yet. I had to cut ties in order to protect you and your mother." All For One speaks, but lowers his head. "It seems I did not hide her well enough."

"You mean…?!" Izuku asks, and all the villain can do is keep his head down. "She's gone… Because of you?!" Izuku roars, as he feels his eyes begin to burn. A desire to wipe away the man in front of him begins to bubble up, and a purple light fills his vision.

"If I'd only been more careful with my words, maybe she wouldn't have been targeted by one of my followers trying to gain my affection." All For One speaks, a sigh leaving his lips. "Still, to think it would contribute to you being here now! My son, the vigilante, a contest to All Might being the strongest hero ever! Makes the death of Nana Shimura all the greater to me, in my opinion."

"You bastard…!" All Might growls.

Nana Shimura… "Grandma…?" Izuku asks, and All Might looks at him. "Then… All Might's mentor… Shigaraki's grandma… My grandma…!" He looks at All For One. "Did you know?! Did you know mom was…?!"

"But of course! Why else would I be remiss to learn of her death? She was a beloved asset after all!" The man boasts, and Izuku rages. He kicks forward, his claws fully extended, as he goes to strike. "I think you need a time out." The villain speaks dryly, knocking Izuku aside, sending him into a pile of rubble.

"Kid… Kid!" Sorahiko speaks, shaking OOO.

His armor had fallen apart. His hood was ripped, a lens missing from his goggles, blood spattered on his cheek. He coughed a little, looking at the man. "Sorahiko…?"

"Call me Torino, like this." The old man responds. "Come on, we gotta get you outta here." The man says, trying to drag the boy out of the rubble.

"Just go without me." He says, the old man looking at him in shock.

"Come on kid, this is no time to accept death. Let's get you out of here-!"

"I said go!" Izuku shouts, and the man stops. "Didn't you hear?! I'm his son! That means… That means I'm his offspring. His… Blood! Maybe if I die here, I can keep the world safe."

"You can't be serious, right kid? I mean, if his blood is what's important, then your mom and grandma-."

"Are both dead, because of him. I'm just a tool for him. If I let myself be broken, then maybe it will just piss him off that little bit more." Izuku says, his eyes losing life. "Stop reaching for me, and let me die."

Sorahiko grunts. "Oh please, like that'll ever happen." The man says, getting the boy to look at him. "See, I never finished my statement. If his blood is what's important, then your mom and grandma's blood will just fight his off. They'll reach for you, every time, because even if evil lives inside you, there is good in you, fighting back against it, always. Your desire to help is far stronger than any desire to be bad."

Izuku looks at him, and begins to feel a burning at his waist.

I said it before, right? Your desire to help is far stronger than anyone else's. You're an idiot, but you're also smart. Now get up from the ashes, and burn this fucker away!

Izuku stands up, throwing away his ruined goggles, and lowering his hood. He moves away from the rubble, and moves towards the battlefield. "I won't let his desire destroy mine…!" He cries out, stumbles back next to All Might. The man has thinned, a sign of his injuries. All For One has increased in his muscle mass, his arm monstrous and hideous. "I'll reach my hand out, and defeat him!"

Izuku replaces the torso and leg Medals with the rest of the red combo, before scanning them. Red flames burst in a ring around him, as a confirmation sound rings out. "HENSHIN!"

"TAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR!" Three voices announce, each different. The first voice belonged to Izuku, his tear filled eyes staring across the field at All for One. The second voice was that of a woman, soft and kind, shocking the villain in its presence. The final voice was another woman, this one strong and caring, All Might and Sorahiko looking at the boy in awe as it yelled. "TAJADOR~!" The scanner announces in its standard voice, as the red and black armor formed around Izuku. However, an additional red feather waist cape wrapped itself around him, sprouting out from his belt.

"All Might… Let's take him down!" Izuku roars, the crackle of fire behind each sound. The blonde nods, and the two stand side by side, fighting stances taken, before they rush forwards.

'When you think you're at your limit… Remember…!'

"All For One…! We will defeat you! Not just because we symbolize something… Not just because we're heroes…! But… Because we connect to all of the families you have destroyed!" All Might cries, resisting the push of the villain's punch. "And that's why… Here… Now…! I won't…!" The man lets his arm falter, the punch zooming past him, before All Might strikes the villain's face with his free hand. "I refuse… To die!"

"That trick… You've let my son into your head, haven't you?!" All For One cheers, before his other arm begins to grow. "TOO BAD YOU'RE TOO WEAK TO WIN!"

"You're right! I was never going to deliver that Finishing blow!" All Might yells, swaying to the side, as a blur of red approaches. "HE WAS!"

"LION! SAI! SHACHI! KUWAGATA! TORA! BATTA! GIGA SCAN!" The scanner of the OOO driver cries out, Izuku swiping it across his arm shield, as it erupts into flames. He draws his fist back, as his red wings carry him forwards.

'This power has been passed from hand to hand. Though it started in malice, it has since been used to help others, and save lives. Now, reach your hand out, and grasp the future awaiting you. Good luck…'

'Izuku.../Toshinori…'

"Hhhnnnnnn...RAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku cries out, his fist just barely grazing the flayed open hand of All Might, before rocketing forwards, striking All for One's face.

"UNITED! STATES OF…!" All Might starts, screaming out in righteous anger.

"ROYAL BLAZING!" Izuku finishes, driving his fist all the way through, slamming his father into the ground with all of his might.

In an instant, a spark ignites, wind kicks up, and hell breaks loose. A tornado of flame shoots up skywards, buildings sucked into it, as it spins wildly. It rages for a moment, before dying out, leaving only silence.

Onlookers watch in anticipation, before the dust clears, and two figures are left standing.

All Might, standing up in all of his Muscular glory, fist raised high in pride, and next to him, Izuku, his helmet removed, raised up in a similar fashion. His eyes burn in a rainbow of red, yellow, and green, tears flowing down his cheeks.

At their feet, All For One rests, a burned imprint of a phoenix across his cheek. A reminder of where his son stands in life.

Above him.

"I suppose I should apologize." All Might speaks, sitting across from Izuku as he is transported to the courthouse in handcuffs. "All those days ago, when I said you couldn't be a hero without a quirk. I was wrong. I'm sorry for that."

"It's… Well it's not fine, but I appreciate the sentiment." Izuku says, looking down. "I just wish I didn't have to go through this to get that apology."

"Maybe… But, at least the League has been arrested. Every member is behind bars and awaiting further trial." All Might says, rubbing at his neck. "Including…"

"My father and my cousin. Yeah, I'm well aware." Izuku says, looking away. The two sat in silence for a moment, before looking at All Might. "There's a girl in your class, Kyoka Jirou. Is she… Is she okay?" He asks, and All Might looks at him in surprise.

"Uh, yes. She's alright after the camp incident. She seems a little upset with me, but… Oh. You two are…" Izuku looks at him, and the man nods. "I understand quite a few things now."

"Well, that makes both of us I guess." Izuku says, before looking at All Might again. "You aren't thinking of trying to take custody of me away from Sorahiko, right?"

"What? No! No thank you! I don't want him kicking my ass." All Might shakes his head. "I'm honestly surprised you aren't more scared of him. He said he was your combat teacher."

"Why would I be scared of him? Sure he gets a little loud, but as soon as I figure out what I need to do, he's super happy and proud of me." Izuku says, causing the hero to slouch.

"Most of my combat training was him beating me up." He says, and Izuku can't help but laugh. "I'm being serious! One time he punched me in the gut just for forgetting to say 'bless you' after someone sneezed!"

"Well no wonder he did that! He's a stickler for manners!" Izuku laughs, and after a second, All Might laughed too. The two chuckle until it quiets down, leaving them back in silence. "Do you… Do you know what's going to happen to me?" Izuku asks, and All Might shakes his head.

"No. It's hard to tell what's going to happen in this trial. No one can figure out how your belt works, so we can't register it as illegal support tech. You don't have a quirk, so no vigilante law can apply. And trying to charge you with your father's crimes just won't happen at all under my watch. So, it's just a matter of whatever the court says."

"And how do we get them to say something good?"

"Hope to God that my boss doesn't scare them all to death with his intelligence. Not to mention whoever his surprise witness from the Kougami Foundation is."

Izuku raises an eyebrow at this.

That's a name he hasn't heard in a while.

"So, you wish to continue with your work? Being a hero?" Mr. Kougami asks, Izuku nodding.

"Well, vigilante, but still." Izuku says, getting a chuckle from the animalistic principal of UA.

"No, my associate was correct! You'd be working as a hero! After all, you are contracted by my agency now!" Nezu says, before handing Izuku a plastic card.

A Hero License.

"Wh-?! But, I-! But, you-! How?!" Izuku asks, looking at the card in shock.

Mr. Kougami laughs. "My boy, the Kougami Foundation is essentially the first Hero Commission to have existed! We've been funding protectors of humanity since before Quirks were even a thing! Why, my ancestor was the man to have funded the original OOO! Or at least the one we wish to remember!" The man says, winking at Nezu. "Now then, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! KAMEN RIDER OOO!" He announces before walking off, stepping into a nearby limousine.

"Kamen Rider…? The heck is that?" Izuku asks, before shaking his head. "But, I'm seriously a hero? That means… I'm the first quirkless hero?!" He cheers, getting a nod from Nezu. "Oh my god."

Nezu chuckles. "Quite! Now, you can continue your work across Japan, and beyond if you so like! But, what is your first task before we get to work on setting up how you'll be occupied?!"

Izuku looks at the principal, before cupping his chin, and then cracking a smile. "Well… There's someone I'd like to see first."

Izuku stands in the chilly morning sun, a bouquet of flowers in his hands, as he adjusts his tie. He approaches the one he wished to see, and flowers first…

Reaches out his hand.

If this does any well, maybe I'll consider making it a more fleshed out mini fic. Maybe more exploration into Izuku and Kyoka's relationship, a further dive into how Eiji and the Kougami foundation play into Izuku being the current OOO… That depends on y'all asking for more. So don't be afraid to leave any comments/reviews.
