Anyways on with the chapter!
A few days after movie night the rangers continued to try and find a way to get Dr.O out of his Ranger form.
Not much progress was made however since the Rangers were also trying to find the other Dino-gems.
That's when a new situation came up.
"Okay, this is weird." Says Trent as he looks at his look-a-like.
Conner, Ethan, Kira, and Trent had just finished up school for the day when they came across the look-a-like, who claimed to have escaped Mesogog's lab.
"Look. There isn't much time, I need you to get the rest of your group here Mesogog is planning something big." The clone says urgently.
"Why should we trust you? The last time someone claimed that we nearly got killed!" Conner snaps angrily.
"We'll trust you. But we will be meeting in a location of our choice." Says Trent with a cold tone in his voice.
"Deal." Says the clone
The Rangers then tell him to meet them at the place where Conner unlocked Super-Dino-Mode for the first time tommorow in the afternoon.
Little do they realize they're making a mistake.
The next day Conner, Ethan, Kira, Dr.O, Kimberly, Denki, and Demiyah were at the sight waiting for the clone when he finally showed up.
"Alright we're here. What do you need to tell us?" Dr.O asks.
"It's actually something I need to show you." The clone says.
"Alright then, what is it? Asks Kimberly who was.
"This." The clone then morphs into his Ranger form, knocks the rangers down and grabs Demiyah. Teleporting away with her and summons a group of Tyranno-drones to keep them from trying to go after them.
The Rangers group then morphs and take down the Tyranno-drones as fast as possible before getting back to base and alerting Hailey, Takuya, and Tyrone to tell them what happened.
"I can't believe we fell for another trap!" Conner says angrily
"This is my fault. It was clearly a trap and I led us right into it." Trent says taking the blame for what happened.
"It's not entirely your fault. None of us could've known Mesgog was able clone you OR the White Dino Powers." Kira says trying to comfort Trent.
Kira's right. We shouldn't be playing the blame game. Right now we need to focus on getting Demiyah back. Anything Hailey?" Asks Dr.O
"I got something, but it isn't good. They're in Mesgog's fortress."
"Can this get any worst?!" Asks Conner.
"Well, if the scanner is right, yes. It's picking up TWO Dino-gems as well."
"TWO?! They found another one?!" Asks Kira in horror.
"Yeah and it seems to be the Gold Dino-gem.
"That means they have the gems we need to stabilize the Orange Dino-gem!" Says Conner.
"We need to find the Teal and Silver gems before Mesogog does, get the Pink and Gold gems back AND save Demiyah!" Says Ethan.
"But what does Mesogog want with Demiyah?" Asks Denki, worried about his sister in all but blood.
"I'm not sure, but that's what we're going to find out." Says Dr.O, worried for the safety of his daughter.
In Mesogog's island fortress the clone is carrying a struggling Demiyah to a lab chair.
"Let me go! I swear when I get out of here I will destroy you!" Demiyah threatens the clone while trying to get loose from the chair she was strapped to.
Elsa and Zeltrax then approach.
"Are you sure she's the best choice to be the Pink Dino Ranger?" Elsa asks sarcastically.
"Indeed. It will also add more difficulty once they realize who she is. What parent wants to fight their own child? Or younger sister in the younger rangers case." Zeltrax says, putting the Dino Morpher on her wrist and activates it.
Demiyah struggles against the mind control for a few moments before completely morphing into the Pink Ranger.
"Pink Ranger, are you ready to serve your new master?"
"Yes. I am." The now brainwashed Demiyah says in a monotone voice.
"Excellent. Now go train with the White Ranger while I let our master know the good news." Says Zeltrax as he and Elsa leave to inform Mesogog of their success.
Needless to say, Mesogog was pleased. VERY pleased.
"Excellent. You two have done well, send the Pink Ranger in the Dragonzord to attack the city."
"It shall be done." Zeltrax says going to give the orders.
Deep inside Zeltrax's mind however, Terrance Smith was trying to take control. With very little success.
Meanwhile the rangers were making a plan of action when the alarm went off.
Hailey checks the surveillance system and is shocked by what she sees.
"Uh, Tyrone, Tommy, you might want to see this." Hailey says in alarm
The two of them then come over to look at the screen and see what alarms her.
"No..."
"It can't be..."
The two of them could only stare as the Dragonzord marched through the city.
As the video showed what was happening the other Rangers came to the monitor to see what was happening.
"The Dragonzord? But I thought that the Dragon Dagger was hidden away!" Kimberly says in shock.
"We thought so too." Says Tyrone
"Looks like someone found it." Says Dr.O
The Dragonzord then begins attacking the city.
"Alright. That's our cue." Says Conner.
"Right."
"Be careful. The Dragonzord is as strong as a Megazord." Explains Dr.O
With that Conner, Ethan, Kira, and Denki morph and go to their Zords to deal with the Dragonzord while Trent, Dr.O, and Kimberly stayed behind since it was discovered Trent couldn't summon his Zord, presumably because of the clone having a copy of his powers.
At the location of the Dragonzord attack, the Thundersaurus Megazord and the Deino-Megazord arrive to intercept the rampaging Zord.
"That's far enough!" Yells Conner.
"Who are you?" Kira asks the unknown pilot of the Zord.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." Says the pilot inside of the Zord.
"Guess we're gonna have to fight then."
"I was hoping you'd say that. Dragonzord drill tail!" The pilot says using an attack command.
"Tyranno-Drill!"
The attacks block each-other out and the Deino-Megazord then heads towards the Dragonzord, prepared to attack.
"Dragonzord, launch missiles!" The pilot says as missiles fire out of the dragonzords finger tips and knock the Deino-Megazord down.
"No!"
"Denki!"
The Thundersaurus Megazord then gets knocked down as well.
"You will not win this Power Rangers, just give up now!"
"Fire Ball attack!"
The attack hits the Dragonzord and makes it go backwards a bit. Allowing the Deino-Megazord to get back up.
"Alright, take this!" Says Denki as he has the Deino-Megazords blade arm to attack the Dragonzord and making reel back.
Just as the pilot was going to command another attack, the Dragonzord suddenly teleported away.
"What just happened?" Asks Kira
"Not sure, lets get back to base." Says Conner.
With that the rangers went back to the base.
"Who was piloting that zord?" Conner asks his mentors.
"We're not sure. But Hailey says that there was Dino-gem inside the Zords cockpit.
"A Dino-gem? Which one?"
"According to our scanners, the Pink gem." Says Hailey.
"The one that's the physical manifestation of the Pink aspect of the Morphin Grid?
"Yeah, that's the one."
"So Mesogog has chosen an evil ranger of his own?" Questions Ethan.
"Looks like it." Says Dr.O.
"What do we do?" Asks Kira
"We figure out who that ranger is and try to get them out of Mesogog's grasp." Says Kimberly
" is right, if we've learned anything from that fight, it's likely that whoever piloted the Dragonzord is resisting Mesogog's control." Says Trent.
Denki and Takuya nod their heads in agreement, worried about their friend/sister.
"So now what?" Asks Denki.
"For now, head home and get some rest. We'll stay here and try to figure out who the Pink Ranger is." Dr.O says to Conner, Ethan, Kira, and Trent.
The teens then leave for home while the rest of the group stay behind to try and figure who the Pink Ranger is.
Tyrone is quite however, he has a suspicion as to who the Pink Ranger is and he doesn't like the chances that it's her.
In Mesogog's fortress the Pink Ranger is struggling against restraints while Zeltrax and Elsa look over some scans.
"Well?" Elsa asks impatiently.
"It appears that she's resisting the mind control."
"Well what do we do about it? If we lose another Ranger master will be furious!" Snaps Elsa.
"Worry not, she can only resist it for so long." Says Zeltrax
Sure enough the Pink Ranger stops struggling and the restraints are removed.
"Pink Ranger, you have done well for your first mission. However, we have another mission for you.
"How may I be of service master?" Asks the Pink Ranger.
"In three days time, we want you to confront the Dino Rangers in hand to hand combat with the the White Ranger clone." Says Zeltrax
"Yes, master." The Pink Ranger says nodding her head and leaves to go prepare for the mission.
The clone White Ranger watches from a distance, recalling the struggle that the Pink Ranger had put up. He briefly wonders why he works with them, only to shake his head as the mind control takes over once again.
Meanwhile in the Watch Tower, the Justice League are discussing the current situation.
"So the Dragonzord attacked Reefside without an explanation?" Questions Wonder Woman/ Diana
"That's what it looks like." Says Flash/ Barry Allen
" I gotta admit. I kind of want to see how the Zords work." Says Blue Beetle/ Ted Kord.
The rest of the league just look at their resident tech expert.
"You know that we can't get any ranger tech right? The last time an organization had that tech without clearance was when S.H.I.E.L.D was busted back in 2001, even then the laws involved with this are very strict." Says Flash.
"He is not incorrect. The Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury is still in deep water for using the savaged Cyborg Ranger Tech." Says Martian Manhunter/ J'onn J'onzz."
The members of the League all glare at the table darkly, remembering what happened back in 2000.
"So what's the plan of action?" Asks Green Arrow/ Oliver Queen.
"We need to get more information on the situation. I say we send two members of the league to investigate." Says Superman/ Clark Kent.
"I agree with that. But who do we send?" Questions Aquaman/ Arthur Curry.
"Martian Manhunter, can you and Miss Martian take the time to investigate?" Questions Batman/ Bruce Wayne.
"Yes. We will only have 2 weeks however. We need to report back to Mars to report our progress on the search for the Princess."
The rest of the league nod their heads in understanding. Knowing about the Martians other mission.
"I shall go inform my niece of the mission."
With that the Martian Manhunter leaves to prepare fo the mission.
"So how's that kid you adopted doing Beetle?" Asks Flash.
Beetle sighs before answering.
"Harry's doing better, but he's still a bit shy, but that's understandable.
"I can't believe his own relatives treated him like that." Wonder Woman says in disgust."
"Agreed." Batman says darkly.
Speaking of kids, how have things been going with the new Robin?
"Well enough, he's definitely a skilled fighter, he has a violence issue however." Batman answers.
This was true. 2 years ago after Dick Grayson left. Bruce had encountered a 10 year old boy named Jason Todd trying to steal the hubcaps off the Batmobile.
This would eventually lead to Jason becoming the second Robin. While he wasn't Grayson, he was still a good kid.
"Any-word of what happend to Dick?" Asks Wonder Woman.
"According to reports I've recieved he's going. by the name Nightwing and living in Jump City." Answers the Dark Knight.
"At least he's alright." Wonder Woman.
"Agreed. Anyways, meeting adjourned." Says Superman.
With that the League went off to protect their cities.
