Anyways on with the chapter!
It's been about a week since Demiyah travelled to the past and discovered she is the Moon Princess, Serenity.
Three things have happened since then.
The first thing to happen is that Tyson is now being trained by Warren Worthington the 3rd/Angel of the X-Men, who is a tutor for students who have wings or can manifest them.
The second thing to happen is Demiyah let SPD know about her being Sailor Moon. They agreed to help her when the time comes for Sailor Moon to appear.
The third thing they did was contact the Kamen Rider brigade and let them know that Mesogog had brainwashed Smitty and that he had Rider tech.
Now we find the Dino Rangers at school where Krista is putting flyers up and Conner is working up the courage to ask her out on a date.
"Hey Krista, what're you doing?." Conner says, walking over to the Teal Ranger
"Well I'm going to be leading a protest to keep a tree that's over 100 near the school from being cut down." Explains Krista.
"Cool, you need any help?" Asks Conner, not sure how to ask Krista out on a date.
"Uh, sure. Meet me at the rally after school." Krista says, just as nervous for some reason.
With that the two split up.
Little did they know that two other groups were after the tree.
Meanwhile Mesogog was giving Elsa the mission to retrieve serum from the tree.
At the same time, we see that Zeltrax is still alive and wants the serum because it can make him powerful.
"With the serum from the life tree, I'll be unstoppable." Zeltrax says.
Little did he realize that it wouldn't be as simple as he thought.
At the rally we see that Conner has come to the rally with Ethan and Demiyah.
Cassidy and Devon come as well in order to get some news.
Devon even volunteers to be tied to the tree.
However they all end up having to leave after Krista nearly got crushed a crate and end up leaving Devon there by accident.
A little while later Zeltrax shows up and takes the serum from the tree. Zeltrax notices Devon and gives him a message.
"Tell the Power Rangers, Zeltrax has returned." He says as he cuts Devon loose.
That's when Elsa showed up.
"You've been stealing the serum from my masters tree." Elsa says coldly as they fight
"It's not his tree anymore." Zeltrax says as he knocks Elsa to the ground.
With that he turns the tree into a monster and he and the monster teleport away.
"This won't go over well." Elsa mumbles.
Meanwhile at Hailey's Cybercafe Devon rushes in, looking for the Rangers.
"Dude, what's wrong?" Ethan asks.
"It's that freak Zeltrax. He's back!"
The Rangers are immediately on alert when they hear that.
"Alright calm down! Is there anything else we should know?" Asks Kimberly.
"Y-yeah, he turned the tree into a monster."
That catches Krista's attention.
"Thank you Devon." Kimberly says before turning to the other Rangers.
The other Rangers nod their heads and head back to the base.
"We all knew there was a chance Zeltrax survived the explosion of his ship. Now we need to know what he's up to." Says Dr.O
"I might have a clue." Says Hailey as she pulls up a surveillance video of where the tree was.
"The tree was on top of a life force spring." Explains Hailey
"You mean like the healing spring of Rafcon?" Asks Denki
"Sort of. Only this one is more powerful." Explains Dr.O
"That explains why the tree lived so long." Realizes Kira
"Because the sap was being nourished by the spring for so long must having amazing properties as well." Says Demiyah
"That must be what Zeltrax is after." Says Trent.
"Something tells me that Zeltrax isn't the only one." Says Kimberly.
"Not only is Zeltrax still alive, but you let him steal my serum." Mesogog hisses angrily
"I didn't exactly let him, I put up a good fight." Elsa retorts.
"Not good enough." Says Mesogog.
"Why can't I just scoop up the water from the spring?" Asks Elsa.
"The flow of the ecosystem has been broken, the spring is useless. I need that tree." Explains Mesogog
After discussing what needed to be done Dr.O and Kimberly pulled Conner and Krista to the side for conversations.
"Sometimes I wonder if I'm cut out for all this Ranger stuff. It's just that when you see someone like Krista who believes so strongly in what she's doing, nothing can stop her. I don't know if I have it in me." Says Conner.
Dr.O chuckles before giving him some advice.
"You remind me of myself when I was your age. I had all this ability and raw emotion, it took me awhile to get the confidence to believe in myself and what I was truly capable of." Says Dr.O
"I've got confidence." Says Conner.
"There's a difference between cockiness and confidence. There's a whole world out there you haven't tapped into yet. Beyond Triassic Power and Super Dino Mode. But you've gotta believe you deserve it. When you do, you'll be blown away by what you're capable of." Dr.O says with a smile.
Meanwhile Krista and Kimberly were having their own conversation.
"Conner is so confident, I just don't know why he'd want to go out with a girl like me." Says Krista.
"Look Krista, Conner might not show it, but he has his own doubts and don't think he doesn't like you." Says Kimberly.
That's when the alarm went off and we see a small army of Triptoids.
"Conner, Ethan, Kira, Krista. You come with me and Kimberly to deal with the Triptoids. Everyone else stay here for if Zeltrax shows up." instructs Dr.O
With that the group prepares for battle.
The group struggles with the battle at first, until Dr.O and Kimberly reveal that they can use the power of the Dino-gems to deactivate the triptoids.
Then Zeltrax showed up with a giant sized monster.
Thankfully the other Rangers showed up to help them.
"Conner, Ethan,Kira, Denki, Krista, Takuya, Demiyah you handle the giant monster." Says Dr.O as Kimberly, Tiernan, Tyson and Trent fought Zeltrax and Elsa teleported away.
The Thundersaurus Megazord, Mezodon Megazord, Deino-Megazord, Carno-Diplo Megazord and the Dragon Zord struggled to take down the monster until Dr.O revealed to Conner that the artillery zords could combine with the Mezodon Megazord to form the Tricero-Max Megazord.
Once the monster was destroyed Zeltrax grabbed the remains of the tree monster and teleported away.
"He's gone!" Shouts Denki
"I think I know where he went." Said Krista.
Back at where the tree once stood Zeltrax is seen putting the remains in the spring when Conner, Krista and Demiyah show up.
From there the three Rangers fight Zeltrax until he de-morphs Krista and grabs her.
"Krista no!" Shouts Conner.
We see that Zeltrax is carrying Krista up a steep mountain when Conner and Demiyah show up.
"Let her go Zeltrax!" Shouts Conner only to have lasers fired at him and Demiyah.
Conner remembers what Dr.O tells him and calls upon his Dino Power unleashing his Battlizer mode.
Zeltrax then drops Krista only for Conner to use his battlizers super stretch arms to catch her and put her down safely.
Conner then gets up to where Zeltrax is and begins attacking him until he back on the ground.
"Alright Conner, now it's my turn!" Says Demiyah, summoning the Moon Wand from where it once was.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" She shouts as the wand successfully seperates Smitty and Zeltrax.
However, Zeltrax teleports away to avoid being destroyed and leaves Smitty behind.
The Rangers rush over to Smitty who smiles weakly.
"Thank you." he says before falling unconscious.
A little while later we see Smitty resting in a hospital room after being saved by Demiyah while the Rangers are checking on him, Conner and Krista are notably holding hands.
"He's fine, he's just exhausted from the whole ordeal, he just needs a few days of rest." Says Dana.
"Thanks Dana." Says Kimberly
"No Problem." Dana says as she goes to another room to check over her next patient.
"So Smitty, what do you plan on doing now?" Asks Dr.O.
"I plan on contacting the Kamen Rider brigade and informing them of what I know." Says Smitty.
"No need, we already know." Says the voice of an old friend.
The group turns and sees the face of therule of Edenoi, King Dex.
"Uncle Dex!" Demiyah says excitedly hugging her honorary Uncle.
"It's good to see you Demiyah." Says Dex.
"Who is this?" Asks Conner.
"Guys, this is King Dex of Planet Edenoi, he also the Masked Rider." Explains Dr.O
The Dino Rangers immediately get into a bowing position before King Dex dismisses them.
"There is no need for that. As for why I'm here, I'm visiting my son Willace. I also have a message from the Kamen Rider Brigade. They wish for Smitty to help you take down Mesogog.
"That might be a little difficult, my Kamen Rider Storm powers were damaged when I was captured." Says Smitty
"Yeah, I saw the damage, They CAN be repaired but it'll take some time. But I think I have a good substitute in my workshop."
"You do?" Dex asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, I found a set of Rider Powers a few months before Conner, Ethan, and Kira became Rangers. I finished repairing them recently. I'll show him once he's completely healed." Says Demiyah
"Very well. I'll stop by at a later time and bring Willace over."
"Alright, I thin it's time for us to get going. See you later Smitty." Says Dr.O
With that everyone leaves to give Smitty time to heal.
